      • 액정을 이용한 가변 광차단 소자에 관한 연구

        An Optical Programmable Shutter(OPS) is fabricated using nematic liquid crystal and In ₂O ₃coated glass. The OPS has a structure of sandwitched and liquid crystal is injected between the coated glasses. The OPS is designed to be operated in the twisted-nematic (TN) system and shutter operation does not affected by neither the wavelength of light nor the polarity of driving signal. In the experiment, HeNe gas laser whose output light wavelength is 0.63㎛ and output power 0.95mW is used as a light source and bipolar periodic wave as a driving signal. The On/Off contrast in the shutter operation of OPS of 15:1 is achieved and minimum de-formation time 0.25msec is obtained in the experiment. A new model about the state deformation of the liquid crystal is suggested and by using this model, the threshold voltage dependence on the driving signal frequency is qualitatively explained.

      • 골재 노출형 숏크리틀를 이용한 경관 옹벽 시공방법의 기초연구

        본 영구에서는 주변환경과 어우러짐이 부족한 노출콘크리트의 자연과 조화가 중요시됨에 따라 경관 구조 콘크리트의 개발이 주요시 여겨지고 있다. 자연암 형태 경관 구조물은 인공암시장에서 모트타르 방식이 있으나 구조물역할을 하지는 못하며 다른 인공암 들은 경제성 및 시공성이 떨어진다. 이에 노출골재 숏크리트 개발에 대한 연구를 하여 일반 콘크리트로 조성된 비인간적인 공간보다 칼라골재 및 고압살수를 이용한 주변 환경과 어울리는 콘크리트를 개발하며 충분한 역학적 성능을 가지고 있는 고 강도 및 고내구성 재료 개발을 하였으며, 시공성 개선으로 경제성을 갖는 경관옹벽 시공방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 골재 노출용 콘크리트 즉 숏크리트 타설용 품질기준을 설정 하였고, 작업성 및 강도와 내구성 확보를 위한 기본 물성 시험을 실시하였다. 또한 골재노출 콘크리트로 자연환경이 수려한 강원권의 친환경적인 토목구조물을 구성하고자 간이 시험을 통해 시공 단순화를 검증하였다. 숏크리트 공법을 사용하면, 무거푸집 시공과 표면 마무리 과정에 골재노출이 가능하여 다양한 디자인의 골재노출 경관옹벽 시공이 가능하고, 노출된 콘크리트 구조물을 좀 더 경관성 확보하여 콘크리트의 단조로움과 회색 이미지에서 벗어날 수 있는 노출콘크리트를 제작하고자 모형 시험편을 제작하여 실제 노출 콘크리트의 시공가능성을 평가 할 것이다.

        클리펠-트레노네이증후군 환자에서 발생한 재발척수병

        Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTS) is a rare congenital malformation syndrome involving blood and lymph vessels, which is characterized by triad of cutaneous hemangioma, venous varicosities, and overgrowth of the affected limbs. Because vascular malformation in KTS can be located anywhere except the face and brain, the clinical presentation could be extremely variable. But there are only rare case reports that KTS is associated with spinal cord lesion. We report a case of recurrent myelopathy in a patient with KTS.

        대퇴감각이상증의 임상 및 전기생리학적 특징

        Background: Meralgia paresthetica (MP) is a mononeuropathy affecting the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. The disease is often diagnosed clinically, but electrophysiological tests play an important role. The aim of this study is to clarify clinical characteristics of MP as well as the role of sensory nerve conduction study (NCS) in the diagnosis of MP. Methods: Sixty-five consecutive patients with clinical diagnosis of MP between March 2001 and June 2012 were retrospectively reviewed at a single tertiary center. General demographics, clinical characteristics and sensory NCS findings were investigated. Measurements of sensory NCS included the baseline-to-peak amplitude, side-to-side amplitude ratio and the conduction velocity. To compare between the normal and abnormal NCS groups, independent t-tests and chisquare test were performed. Results: Sixty-five patients had male predominance (56.9%) with mean age of 48.4±13.4years (range: 16-75). Seven patients (13.5%) had undergone operation or procedure before the symptom onset. The sensory nerve action potentials were obtainable in 52 (80%) of 65 clinically diagnosed MP patients. Sensory NCS revealed abnormalities in 38 patients (73.1%), and others (n=14, 26.9%) showed normal findings. Between the normal and abnormal NCS groups, there is no statistically significant difference on demographics or clinical features. Conclusions: We clarify the clinical features and sensory NCS findings of MP patients. Due to several limitations of sensory NCS, the diagnosis of MP could be accomplished both clinically and electrophysiologically.         Nowadays, juvenile's sexual-related delinquency is increasing and their immature sexual behavior is on issue with this recent phenomenon. That is the reason people realize offering right sex education for them is important. So, we are going to study for trying to make an improvement in sex education field based on the fact that is practicing now at school. We will reference "소중한 성 바로알기" in this study which is published in 2008 for schoolteacher to compensate some limitations of former education material. This study was done from June 15 to July 20, 2009(Total : 36days) and aimed for surveying senior year students of middle school located in Seoul, S. Korea. We sampled 248 students by random from 8 classes of 4 schools. We analyzed final 209 samples(the other 39 samples were omitted for inappropriate response and return.) using SPSS WIN 12.0. The questionnaire includes 4 parts of relationship and psychosexual, physical growth and sexual health, social environment and sexual equality, and healthy family with marriage and it consists of 31 questions. We made this questionnaire base on the reference as we stated above. From this study we found the part of healthy family with marriage has not enough contents compared with the other 3 parts. And also we could see students don't feel satisfaction with one-off, one-sided sex education, and the education which is performed with only one single method. Therefore we make a judgement that middle school students have their needs toward sex education at school and those are considered as regular education by well-trained education provider, and various means for education such as case study, discussion, or role play. As well we think sex education for middle school students need to offer more about sexual equality and also alert the increasing possibilities of sexual commit in cyber space to adolescent.

      • Effect of Aluminum of Mo-Ni-based catal-sorbent on simultaneous removal of H<sub>2</sub>S and NH<sub>3</sub>

        To simultaneously remove H<sub>2</sub>S and NH3 from hot coal gases, Mo-Nibased catal-sorbents were prepared by impregnation method using various supports such as Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>(MNA), SiO<sub>2</sub> (MNS) and ZrO<sub>2</sub> (MNZ). Their simultaneous removal efficiency were tested in fixed-bed reactor at 650℃. The simultaneous removal ability of the MNA catal-sorbent was excellent than the MNS and MNZ catal-sorbents. However, the sulfur removal capacity was lower than that of the other catal-sorbents. To improve the simultaneous removal ability of MNS and MNZ for H<sub>2</sub>S and NH3, Aluminum (MNAS and MNAZ) was promoted. The simultaneous removal abilities of the MNAS and MNAZ catal-sorbents for H<sub>2</sub>S and NH<sub>3</sub> were excellent and did not decrease during multiple cycles. These results were characterized by XRD and BET, NH<sub>3</sub>-TPD and are discussed.

      • High purity H<sub>2</sub> production on sorption enhanced methane reforming process using various Nickel precursors

        A study for pure H<sub>2</sub> production through the CO<sub>2</sub> capture is possible in sorption enhanced steam methane reforming (SESMR) process. The best efficiencies were obtained using CaO, because it is more favourable thermodynamics and high reaction rates. The Ni-Ca-Al-based catal-sorbents were prepared with various Nickel precursors such as Nickel nitrate (NAC-N), Nickel chloride (NAC-C) and Nickel acetate (NAC-A) by the impregnation method at 850℃. The Ni-Ca-based catalsorbents were carried out in a fixed-bed reactor at 600℃, S/C = 4. The NAC-A catal-sorbent showed the higher methane conversion (99 % ) and CO<sub>2</sub> capture capacity (10.7 mmol CO<sub>2</sub>/g sorbent) than those of the other catal-sorbents. The Ni-Ca-Al-based catal-sorbents were discussed and characterized by XRD, BET and TEM.
