        저온소결을 통한 초고용량 MLCC 개발

        It is necessary to minimize the thickness of Ni inner electrode layer and to improve the coverage of inner electrode, for the purpose of developing the ultra high-capacity multi layered ceramic capacitor (MLCC). Thus, low temperature sintering of dielectric BaTiO₃ ceramic should be precedently investigated. In this work, the relationship between dielectric properties of MLCC and batch condition such as mixing and milling methods was investigated in the BaTiO₃(BT)-Dy-Mg-Ba system with borosilicate glass as a sintering agent. In addition, several chip properties of MLCC manufactured by low temperature sintering were compared with conventionally manufactured MLCC. It was found that low temperature sintered MLCC showed better DC-bias property and lower aging rate. It was also confirmed that the thickness of Ni inner electrode layer became thinner and the coverage of inner electrode was improved through low temperature sintering.         고체산화물 연료전지용 밀봉유리의 제조 및 물성평가

        고체산화물 연료전지용 밀봉재로서 전지 구성원과 열팽창계수가 유사하고 비젖음성 특성을 가지며 전지 작동온도에서 화학적 안정성을 갖는 밀봉유리를 개발하고자, BaO-Al$_2$O$_3$-La$_2$O$_3$-Ba$_2$O$_3$-SiO$_2$계 유리를 제조하여 조성 변화에 따른 열적 특성 변화와 접합후의 젖음성 및 반응성 등을 조사하였다. 유리망목 형성산화물인 B$_2$O$_3$와 SiO$_2$의 함량비 및 BaO의 망목 형성산화물(B$_2$O$_3$+SiO$_2$)에 대한 함량비 변화에 따른 유리의 열적 특성을 조사한 결과, 0.33~0.71의 B$_2$O$_3$/SiO$_2$함량비하에서 BaO/(B$_2$O$_3$+SiO$_2$)가 0.70일 때 유리의 열팽창계수는 106~111$\times$$10^{-7}$/K 이었으며 이때 연료전지 구성원인 YSZ(yttria stabilized zirconia)와의 열팽창 불일치(thermal expansion mismatch)가 가장 작았다. 또한 이러한 조성의 유리로부터 분말성형체를 제조하여 YSZ에 접합을 시도한 결과, 우수한 접합성 및 비젖음성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 800~8$50^{\circ}C$의 전지 작동온도에서 100시간까지 유지시에도 YSZ와의 계면반응이 일어나지 않음을 관찰할 수 있었다.

        MgO-${Al_2}{O_3}$-$SiO_2$계 결정화유리의 제조 및 물성평가

        Glass-ceramics containing a cordierite (2MgO-2Al2O3-5SiO2) as a main crystal phase was prepared from MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 system glass through a controlled 2-step heat treatment for the application to magnetic memory disk substrate for higher storage capacity. Parent glasses prepared with addition of CeO2 as a fulx and TiO2 as a nucleating agent were crystallized by a 2-step heat treatment i.e. nucleation and crystal grwoth. Then the maximum nucleation and crystal growth rates were investigated and several properties such as bending strength, surface hardness and surface roughness were also studied for heat treated glass. As a result, only a $\alpha$-cordierite was precipitated as a main crystal phase for all heat treatment conditions and the maximum nucleation and crystal growth rates were 2.4$\times$109/㎣.hr at 80$0^{\circ}C$ and 0.3${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$/hr at 915$^{\circ}C$ respectively. After being nucleated at 80$0^{\circ}C$ for 5 hours and then crystallized at 915$^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour, the heat treated glass had a crystal volume fraction of 17.6% and crystal size fo 0.3${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, and showed the optimum properties for the application to magnetic memory disk substrates as follows. ; Bending strength of 192 MPa, Vidkers hardness of 642.1kgf/$\textrm{mm}^2$, and surface roughness of 27$\AA$.

        Neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas are exremely rare tumors, but recent imaging examination advances, diagnostic frequency is also increasing. However, there is difficulty of diagnosis of pancreatic serotonin producing neuroendocrine tumors, because tumors grow slowly and clinical symptoms are not significant. A 60-year-old male patient with pancreatic duct dilatation progresses gradually during the seven years without obstructing lesion in imaging studies, we suspected the mass as intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm.         Milling 조건에 따른 BaTiO₃의 저온 소결성 및 전기적 특성 변화

        It is necessary to minimize the mismatch of sintering shrinkage between dielectric ceramic and Ni inner electrode layers for the purpose of developing the ultra high-capacity multi layered ceramic condenser(MLCC). Thus, low temperature sintering of dielectric BaTiO₃ ceramic should be precedently investigated. In this work, the influence of the milling condition on sintering behavior and electrical properties of BaTiO₃ ceramics was investigated in the BaTiO₃(BT)-Mg-Dy-Mn-Ba system with borosilicate glass as a sintering agent. As milling time increased, specific surface area(SSA) of the powder increased linearly, while both sinterability and dielectric property were found to be drastically decreased with an increasing SSA. It was also revealed that the sinterability of the excessively milled BaTiO₃ ceramics could be recovered by increasing Ba content, rather than increasing glass addition. These results suggest that the sintering behavior of BaTiO₃ ceramics under the high SSA was more strongly dependent on the transient liquid phase caused by Ba addition, than the liquid phase from additional glass.         Severe Endobronchial Inflammation Induced by Aspiration of a Ferrous Sulfate Tablet

        Iron supplements such as ferrous sulfate tablets are usually used to treat iron-deficiency anemia in some elderly patients with primary neurologic disorders or decreased gag reflexes due to stroke, senile dementia, or parkinsonism. While the aspiration of ferrous sulfate is rarely reported, it is a potentially life-threatening condition that can lead to airway necrosis and bronchial stenosis. A detailed history and high suspicion of aspiration are required to avoid delays in diagnosis and treatment. The diagnosis can be confirmed by bronchoscopic examination and a tissue biopsy. Early removal of the aspirated tablet prevents acute complications, such as bronchial necrosis, hemoptysis, and lobar consolidation. Tablet removal is also necessary to prevent late bronchial stenosis. We presented the first case in Korea of a ferrous sulfate tablet aspiration that induced severe endobronchial inflammation.

        다국적기업의 글로벌 CSR 프로그램의 소비자 효과 분석: CSR 대상, NGO 그리고 모국 이미지 요인 중심으로

        본 연구는 소비자 관점에서 국내에 진출한 유럽과 일본 다국적기업을 대상으로 CSR 대상(국내 vs. 해외) 그리고 협력 NGO의 유형(국내 vs. 외국)에 따른 CSR 효과를 검증하고자 한다. 구체적으로 2개 국가 × 2개 CSR 대상 × 2개 NGO 기관의 모두 8개 유형의 CSR 활동에 대한 효과를 비교한다. 이를 위해서 서울 소재 25세 이상의 직장인을 대상으로 실험 조사가 진행되었다. 검증 결과, 소비자들은 다국적기업의 CSR의 대상이 국내이든 해외이든 차별을 두지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 소비자들은 다국적기업의 CSR이 글로벌 NGO와 함께 수행되었을 때, 더 긍정적으로 반응하였다. 이와 함께, 비호의적 모국 이미지를 가지고 있는 다국적기업의 CSR은 호의적 국가이미지의 기업보다 소비자에게 주는 효과가 상대적으로 큰 것으로 발견되었다. 동시에 모국 이미지는 CSR 대상과 NGO 유형에 따른 CSR 효과를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로, 비호의적 이미지를 가지고 있는 기업이 국내 CSR을 수행할 때, 그리고 국내 NGO와 연계할 때 소비자들이 더 긍정적으로 반응하였다. This study is intended to empirically investigate how CSR targets, NGO affiliations, and home country image affect consumer responses towards CSR by multinational firms in Korea. The study employs a three-way 2-by-2-by-2 factorial design. Field experiments were carried out with adult consumers in Seoul aged over 25. Our findings, first, suggest that consumers perceive foreign CSR as important as domestic CSR. However, consumers responded more positively towards CSR carried out with international NGOs. In addition, consumers were found to react more positively CSR by Japanese firms with an unfavorable country image. This country effect was shown to be greater with domestic CSR targets and domestic NGOs.

        해외 CSR에 대한 모국 소비자의 평가

        본 연구에서는 소비자 관점에서 해외에서 수행한 CSR과 글로벌 NGO와의 협력 사업이 모국 소비자에 미치는 영향을 검증한다. 이를 위해 삼성전자와 현대자동차를 대상으로 2개 CSR대상(국내 vs. 해외) x 2개 NGO 기관(국내 vs. 외국)의 모두 4개 유형의 CSR활동에 대한 효과에 대해 서울 소재 25세 이상의 직장인을 대상으로 실험 조사를 진행하였다. 검증 결과, 첫째, 모국 소비자들은 전반적으로 우리 기업이 수행하는 해외 CSR 보다는 국내 CSR을 긍정적으로 평가하는 경향이 발견되었다. 그러나 모국 소비자의 해외 CSR에 대한 평가는 해당 기업의 글로벌성 인식이 높아지면 상대적으로 좋아진다는 것으로 발견되었다. NGO 유형과 관련하여서는, 모국 소비자들은 국내 기관와의 협력에 대해 다소 호의적으로 평가하였다. 그러나, 구매 의도와 관련하여서는 NGO의 국적에 따라 차이가 발생하지 않았다. 흥미로운 결과로서, 해외 CSR인 경우에는 외국 NGO보다는 국내 NGO와의 협력을 더 긍정적으로 평가하였다. This study is intended to empirically investigate how Korean consumers evaluate foreign CSRs conducted by Korean firms. Specifically, the study investigates the effects of domestic vs. foreign CSR targets & domestic vs. global NGO affiliations by employing a two-way 2-by-2 factorial design. Field experiments were carried out with adult consumers in Seoul aged over 25. Our findings, first, suggest that Korean consumers perceive domestic CSRs more positively than foreign CSRs. But Korean consumers were found to respond more positively to foreign CSRs when the focal firm was perceived as a global firm. As regards to NGO affiliations, the study found that consumers were partially favorable towards domestic NGOs. However, interestingly, foreign CSRs with domestic NGOs were perceived more favorably than foreign CSRs with foreign NGOs.
