There had been numerous descriptions, illustrations, and pattern-books of garden since the sixteenth century. However, an autonomous theory of gardening did not emerge until the beginning of eighteenth century, with the codification of the formal French garden in Joseph Dezallier d'Argenville's for example. Anyway, during the sixteenth and seventeenth century, several writers and theoreticians of agronomy like Boyceau, de Serres, Claude and Andre Mollet cast their schemes onto the earlier modest utilitarian gardens. The literature on the art of gardening, which involves agriculture on the one hand and both architecture and other visual arts on the other, played a critical role in the development and evolution in the art of gardening. As Boyceau was the only and first who treat garden as the main theme in his book with logic and consistency, we will focus particularly on his thought and ideas in this article. The article will be restricted mainly to an analysis of literal sources and pay attention to the theory of agriculture and gardening and their relationships.

WonSik Kim. 2006. Loanwords in the Media. Language and Linguistics 37, 49-66. This paper aims to analyse loanwords in the printed and broadcast media in terms of specialty areas and to study how these words are adopted into Korean. We mainly focus on the words borrowed from English into Korean, since a corpus study reveals that the majority of the loanwords in Korean come from English. Loanwords are subdivided into three categories: 1) loanwords for common usage, 2) loanwords for technology and information(IT) and 3) loan words for economic life. English loanwords in Korean belong to any one of morphological borrowing, abbreviation and semantic borrowing.

퇴직연금 가입자 특성 분석과 향후 과제

퇴직연금의 활성화는 근로자, 기업, 자본시장의 금융기관들 모두에게 노후보장을 위한 새로 대안을 제시한다. 근로자에게는 본격적으로 기존의 국민연금 의존성을 탈피하여 독자적인 노후준비를 하도록 할 것이고, 기업에 있어서는 운영에 많은 부담이 되었던 법정퇴직금제도를 합리적으로 전환하여 근로자 복지의 새로운 전환점을 제공하고, 마지막으로 연금사업자, 혹은 금융기관들의 입장에서는 자본시장의 활성화를 통하여 국제경쟁력을 마련할 수 있는 계기가 된다. 본 연구의 조사결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 퇴직연금의 국민연금에 대한 의존도가 하락하여, 민간중심의 연금시장이 형성될 가능성이 높다. 둘째, 퇴직연금에 있어서 퇴직급여 안정성에 대한 기대가 크다. 셋째, 근로자들의 금융기관 별 인식은 앞으로 퇴직연금 사업의 전개 및 금융시장 구조에 큰 영향을 미칠 것이다. 넷째, 퇴직연금 미가입자를 위하여는 퇴직일시금 수요의 요인들을 분석하여 가계 자산관리에 대한 지원을 한다면 미가입자들은 퇴직연금의 확산에 동참할 것이다. 마지막으로 정부가 퇴직연금의 확대를 위하여는 노사의 관심을 더욱 유도하는 것이 필요하고, 세제확대나 수급권 보장을 통하여 퇴직연금에 대한 안정성을 높이는 것이 바람직하다.

돼지난소에서 난포폐쇄와 큰포식세포에 관한 형태학적 연구

난포폐쇄가 과립층세포의 세포자멸사에 의해 이루어지고 이 과정에 큰포식세포가 직? 간접적으로 관여한다는 사실은 널리 알려져 있다. 그러나 난포내에서 일어나는 세포자멸사가 과립층의 어디에서부터 개시되고 어떻게 파급되는지, 세포자멸사 산물과 퇴화된 난모세포의 제거 방법 그리고 난포폐쇄의 완성은 어떻게 이루어지는가에 대해서는 아직 확실히 밝혀져 있지 않다. 이에 저자들은 가임기 돼지(Yorkshire-breed)를 실험동물로 난소내 난포의 광학현미경적 및 투과전자현미경적 관찰과 돼지 대식세포 단크곤항체 4E9를 이용한 변역조직화학적 방법으로 본 연구를 실시하였다. 광학현비경적관찰 결과, 난포폐쇄는 과립층세포의 세포자멸사로부터 개시되고 이어 난모세포의 퇴화와 난포막 속층 세포들의 세포자멸사가 일어나면서 난포폐쇄가 완성되는 것으로 보인다. 과립층세포의 세포자멸사는 핵농축으로부터 시작되고 과립층의 깊이에 관계없이 짧은 시간 안에 모든 층으로 파급되고 최종적으로 난모세포의 투명대를 둘러싸고 있는 과립층세포의 세포자멸사포 이어지는 것으로 보인다. 투과전자현미경 관찰에서는 세포자멸사중에 있는 과립층세포들이 인접한 정상적인 과립층세포들과 큰포식세포들에 의해 포식되는 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 난포동내에 산재한 세포자멸사 소체들의 제거에도 큰포식세포들이 관여하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 난포폐쇄와 큰포식세포와의 관계를 알아보기 위해 실시한 면역조직화학적 관찰에서는, 과립층세포의 세포자멸사 초기에는 큰포식세포가 과립층내에서만 발견되었으나, 세포자멸사의 진행과 함께 난포동과 난모세포를 둘러싸고 있는 투명대 주위에서 각각 순서대로 관찰되었고 마지막으로 난포막 속층에서도 발견되어, 이들이 과립층세포들의 세포자멸사 소체들을 제거하는 것은 물론 최종적으로는 난포막 속층 세포들의 세포자멸사 소체들을 제거하여 난소 실질화에 관여하는 것으로 보인다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 난포폐쇄와 관련된 큰포식세포의 구조, 기능적 연구에 유용한 자료로 생각된다. Apoptosis of granulosa cells leads follicular atresia and macrophages have an important role during the apoptotic process. However, the propagation of apoptosis within the follicle, the ways of elimination of apoptotic bodies and degenerated oocyte, and the completion of follicular atresia are still controversial and unidentified clearly. Using adult porcine (Yorkshire-breed) ovary, in this morphological study, transmission electron microscopic observation and immunohistochemical study with pig macrophage monoclonal antibody 4E9 were performed. In light microscopy, the follicular atresia initiated with apoptosis of granulosa cells, followed by degeneration of oocyte and apoptosis of theca interna cells. Apoptosis occured in random fashion among the granulosa cells and propagated multidirectionally, and finally to the granulosa cells surrounding zona pellucida of degenerating oocyte. Pyknosis of granulosa cells was the first sign of apoptosis. In immunohistochemistry, macrophages were found only in the granulosa layer at the stage of beginning of apoptosis. With progression of apoptosis, they were proliferated greatly in number enough to eliminate all the apoptotic bodies, and found within the follicular antrum. In advanced stage of atresia, macrophages surrounded the zona pellucida of degenerating oocyte, and found also in the theca interna. In transmission electron microscopy, phagocytic granulosa cells maintained characteristic gap junctions with neighboring granulosa cells and contained several apoptotic bodies and lipid droplets within their cytoplasm. Macrophages kept many apoptotic bodies, vacuoles and autophagosomes in their cytoplasm. Apoptotic granulosa cells were ingested by intact granulosa cells and macrophages initially, but lately, all the apoptotic granulosa cells and degenerated oocyte were eliminated by macrophages. Ovarian follicular atresia completed with phagocytosis of apoptotic theca interna cells by macrophages, and the remnants of the atretic follicle became ovarian stroma. It is well known that macrophages may play an important role during follicular atresia, such as elimination of apoptotic granulosa cells, theca intema cells and degenerated oocytes, but, the valid action mechanisms of macrophages on the initiation of granulosa cell apoptosis and on the completion of atresia through the secretion of paracrine factors and autocrine factors still unclear.

배경(Background): ABO혈액형은 수혈의학에서 가장 중요하며, 수혈자의 ABO혈액형은 필히 혈구형 검사와 혈청형검사를 동시에 실시하여 결정하여야 한다. 혈구형 검사와 혈청형검사의 불일치(ABO discrepancy)는 여러가지 원인으로 나타날 수 있으며, 그 원인을 추적하는 방법으로 환자의 병력과 임상 증상을 확인하는 것과 혈구측의 항원검사에 서로 다른 항혈청과의 반응, 렉틴과의 반응, 흡착해리검사, 혈청측의 규칙항체 외 비예기항체검사, 자가항체 유무, 분비자의 타액 에서 형 물질 검사, 가계조사 등이 필요 할 때도 있다. 수혈자가 아닌 경우에도 혈액형검사 오판은 의료기관의 신뢰에 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에 저자 등은 Isohemolysin에 의한 ABO discrepancy 1예를 경험하여 소개 하고자 한다. 증례(Case): 건강검진 차 방문한 여성(26세)으로 혈액형검사에서 통상검사로 혈구형은 슬라이드법에서 (Ortho사 monoclonal Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-D) O형, Rh-D 양성, 혈청형검사는 자가 제조 A 및 B cells을 사용하여 시험관법으로 검사하여 B혈구에만 2+정도의 반응으로 A형으로 나타나 ABO discrepancy을 보였다. 추가 검사로 검체 혈구를 생리식염수로 세척하여 슬라이드법 및 시험관법으로, 혈청형은 혈청을 56℃에서 30분정도 비동화한 후시험관법으로 A 및 B cells에서 각각 4+반응, O cells에는 음성으로 혈구형과 혈청형에서 모두 O형으로 일치함을 보였다. DAT에서도 모두 음성, 일반 혈액학적 검사에서도 모두정상을 보였다. 고찰(Discussion): Plain tube에 채혈된 신선한 혈청을 대상으로 혈청형검사를 하는 경우에 Isohemolysin을 함유한 가검 혈청은 보체의 작용으로 강한 용혈반응을 보여 응집반응을 놓치는 경우에 주요한 ABO형의 오판을 하는 경우가 있다. 혈청으로 ABO형 검사를 하는 경우에는 비동화를 시켜서 하거나, 혈장을 사용하거나, 시판되는 A 및 B혈구를 사용하면 보체의 작용을 예방 할수 있으며, 특히 O형 혈청에서 가끔 나타나는 것으로, 저자들이 경험한 사례를 보고한다.

퇴직연금제도의 도입 실태와 향후과제: 고용주 서베이

퇴직연금은 기존의 법정퇴직금제도를 전체 근로자에게 확대적용하면서 급여 보장성을 보다 높이면서 노후보장 기능에 초점을 맞춘 제도이다. 그러나 이 제도가 지속적으로 확대되고 있음에도 예상보다 실적이 부진한 것이 사실이다. 이에 따라 퇴직연금제도의 도입 1주년을 계기로 동 제도의 확산과 안정적인 정착을 위한 다양한 개선방안 마련에 대한 필요성이 제기 되고 있다. 이러한 점을 고려하여 본 연구에서는 퇴직연금제도 도입에 관한 실태 파악을 통하여 퇴직연금관련 차별화된 세제혜택의 확대 필요성, 노동조합을 중심으로 적극적인 교육 및 홍보를 통하여 퇴직연금의 확대 유인의 필요성, 퇴직일시금을 퇴직연금제도로의 전환을 촉진하기 위한 방안의 마련, 근로자 중심의 퇴직연금상품 선택 등이 동 제도의 성공적인 정착과 활성화를 위하여 정책적 관점에서 검토할 필요가 있음을 강조하였다. Corporate pension, started in the end of 2005, guarantees retirement benefit to the retired workers and extends the coverage of the present legal severance pay to the whole workers. However, the number of the firms that introduced corporate pension has not increased as much as expected. This paper surveyed facts related to corporate pension both for firms that introduced corporate pension and for those that did not. Some policy implications for the expansion of corporate pension were found. The survey suggests the following for the soft landing of corporate pension: first, more differentiated corporate pension tax incentives for both employers and employees, second, incentives for changing severance pay to corporate pension, third, education for labor unions as well as individual employees on corporate pension, and finally, environments where employees choose products of corporate pension rationally and independently.

통신방송 융합시대의 방송콘텐츠 개방과 가격차별화

통신·방송융합 현상의 가속화에 따라 방송콘텐츠에 대한 통신사업자의 접근이 궁극적으로 이루어질 전망이다. 이 연구에서는 방송콘텐츠의 개방을 전제로 통신사업자와 방송사업자가 방송서비스 경쟁을 하는 경우 방송콘텐츠 가격차별화 구조에 대해 간단한 경제모형을 수립하여 분석하고 시사점을 도출하였다. 분석결과에 따르면 역탄력성룰에 기초한 방송콘텐츠 제공가격의 차별구조는 방송사업자와 통신사업자가 제공하는 방송서비스 간 상호 대체성과 전송비용의 차이로 이루어짐을 확인하였다. 방송콘텐츠의 완전 개방은 두 사업자의 서비스를 완전 대체제로 만들기 때문에 전송비용이 낮은 통신사업자에 비해 방송사업자가 방송콘텐츠 구매에 있어 상대적으로 낮은 가격을 적용받을 수 있다. 두 사업자의 서비스를 완전대체재로 만드는 트리플플레이서비스 비즈니스 모델에서는 방송플랫폼사업자에 유리한 방송콘텐츠 제공가격 차별화가 예상된다. 반면 통신사업자에 대한 방송콘텐츠의 불완전한 개방은 통신사업자 서비스의 대체성을 낮추기 때문에 방송사업자가 상대적으로 높은 콘텐츠 가격을 지불하는 역차별이 발생할 가능성이 높아진다. 특히, 방송플랫폼 사업자의 전송비용이 낮아지게 되면 방송계에서 주장하는 기간통신사업자에 대한 방송콘텐츠 개방제한 주장과 방송플랫폼사업자에 대한 방송콘텐츠 구매상의 우대 요구가 양립하기 더욱 어려워지게 됨을 확인하였다.
