      • Carbon tetrachloride를 투여한 rat의 hepatic lipid 축적에 미치는 vitamin E의 효과에 관한 연구

        The present studies were undertaken to evaluate the effect of vitamin E, CCl_4 on the change of hepatic triglyceride, hepatic cholesterol, hepatic phospholipid in male rat. The result obtained from this study were summarised as follows: 1. Hepatic phospholipid of CCl_4 treated rat was increased in proportion to CCl_4 dosage but after concomitant injection(I.P) of vitamin E and CCl_4, hepatic phospholipid was significantly decreased in comparison to that of CCl_4 alone injection. 2. There was no effect on hepatic cholesterol concentration either CCl_4 alone injection(I.P) or concomitant injecton(I.P) of vitamin E and CCl_4. 3. Hepatic triglyceride of CCl_4-treated rat was significantly increased in comparison to that of normal rat but hepatic triglyceride of rat concomitant injection of vitamin E and CCl_4 was significantly decreased in comparison to that of CCl_4 alone injection.

        경남지역에서 분리한 Salmonella Enteritidis의 항생제 감수성 검사 및 random amplification polymorphic DNA (RAPD)-PCR을 이용한 유전형 분석

        Salmonella Enteritidis (S. Enteritidis) are found in animals, humans, and environment. In addition, S. Enteritidis draws attention to the public health concerns due to carriage of antibiotic resistance traits. For these reasons, the prevalence and antibiotic resistance patterns of S. Enteritidis are significant issues with regard to public health. To address this issues, a total of 24 strains of S. Enteritidis from 164 samples collected from several slaughterhouses in Gyeong-Nam province in order for antibiotic resistance profiles. Subsequently, we characterized the genotyping by random amplification polymorphic DNA (RAPD)-PCR. As a result, very high level of resistance to protein synthesis inhibition antibiotics and most isolates were susceptible to others. Six random primers were used for RAPD-PCR to reveal genotypes of S. Enteritidis isolates. One of the primer, P1245, generated 147 distinct RAPD-PCR fragments ranging from 400∼3000 bp. The number of RAPD-PCR products ranged from 4 to 8 for this primer. The RAPD-PCR fragments could be placed these strains into 3 subgroups and 2 classes by UPGMA cluster analysis. Interestingly, several S. Enteritidis that isolated from different slaughterhouses showed same genotype. These results showed only limited genetic variation among the isolates, those were grouped into a few different patterns of antibiotic resistance.

      • 구강점막 부착용 케토프로펜 고분자 필름의 제조 및 평가

        Abstract – The objective of this study was to prepare ketoprofen-loaded buccal adhesive patch. The adhesive patch was formulated by casting method using aqueous soluble polymer povidone K17 (PVP 17PF) as film-forming agent and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) as adhesive agent. To compare the effect of HPMC type, different molecular weight of K4M and K15M HPMC was used. The physicochemical properties of patches such as appearance, thickness, in vitro release, and adhesiveness were investigated. The concentration of ketoprofen was determined spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 233 nm. The appearance of prepared patches was semi-transparent, light-yellow or almost colorless, and odorless. Thickness of each patches (n=6) was 0.895 ± 0.033 mm for K4M patch and 0.727 ± 0.036 mm for K15M patch. In vitro release test, both K4M and K15M patches showed over 20% release within 30 min. At 120 min, K4M and K15M patches demonstrated 95% and 67.5% release of ketoprofen, respectively, and up to 240 min, both patches released drug completely. Maximum adhesive force of K4M and K15M patches was 6.571 ± 2.703 gf and 2.735 ± 1.151 gf, respectively. Moreover, it took 28.29 ± 0.38 sec and 28.30 ± 0.34 sec for K4M and K15M patch to peel off them after adhesion, showing no significant difference. In conclusion, thickness, in vitro release, and maximum adhesive force could be modulated by alteration of polymer types.

      • 마우스 대장암 모델 구축 및 항암제 활성 평가를 위한 예비 연구

        Abstract – Aberrant crypt foci (ACF) are early imorphological changes observed in rodents after administration of colon-specific carcinogen such as azoxymethane (AOM). ACF are considered to be putative preneoplastic lesions and are widely used as a surrogate biomarker to rapidly evaluate chemopreventive potential of compounds. The size of colorectal cancer was evaluated after administration of three anticancer drugs, 1 parent drug and 2 prodrugs. The body weights of mice were measured daily and considered as a surrogate for evaluation of general wellbeing. Colons were removed, cut along the longitudinal axis and flushed with phosphate-buffered saline. Each colon was cut into three equal lengths and fixed flat between filter papers. The fixed colon sections were stained with methylene blue. The number of ACF per colon, the number of aberrant crypts observed in each focus and the location of each focus were recorded. After single administration of AOM and multiple doses of anticancer drugs, no significant changes in the body weights of the mice was observed which was recorded for 52 days. However, an expected ACF was not observed in any treated groups. These findings suggest the induction of ACF in mice requires the promotion by dextran sulfate sodium as well as the initiation by AOM.

      • 하루 콩단백질 25g 섭취를 위한 메뉴작성 및 영양성분 분석

        The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

      • 경상북도 노인 주거복지시설의 운영실태와 개선 방안

        이 논문의 목적은 ① 경북 지역의 노인 주거복지시설의 현재 상황을 조사하고 ② 노인의 욕구를 반영할 수 있는 개선의 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 특히 이 논문은 노인 시설에서 일하고 있는 사회복지사 뿐만 아니라 주거하고 있는 노인의 만족도 둘 다를 탐구한다. 이 연구는 다음과 같은 것을 제안하고자 한다.; ① 노인 주거복지시설과 노인 요양복지시설의 통합운영, ② 법인을 활성화 할 수 있는 전문가 집단의 이사 추천제도 도입 필요, ③ 시설간 연대를 통한 직원의 공개 채용 및 복무 규정 마련을 통한 투명성 확보, ④ 시설간 전문 서비스 구축을 위한 협조 체계 구축, ⑤ 지역 사회 연계와 관련한 모범 사례 표창, ⑥ 전문직 종사자의 증원 및 처우 개선 등이다. The population of elderly person grows gradually in the society. In contrast, the number of elderly person stayed at the social facility is decreased. This is probably because the facility for the elderly person does not meet the needs of the elderly. Thus this study aimed 1) to examine the current status of facilities for elderly person in GyeongBuk province, and 2) to analyze the needs of the elderly so the facilities meet the needs more properly. We examined the degree of satisfaction both of the elderly staying at the facility as well as social workers working in the facility. Moreover, their relationship to the community, environment of the facility, and their management were analyzed. The activities served by the facility were divided into a general one and a specialized one. Whole facilities for the elderly in the GyeongBuk province were examined. The results suggest the necessity of the followings: 1) the combined management of both facilities for residency and welfare of the elderly, 2) a group with expertise for activating the management, 3) more clear criteria for the recruitment of qualified social workers, 4) the cooperative work between the facilities, 5) propagating the good examples for the establishment of relationship to the community, and 6) the needs for increasing the number of social workers and their income.

        The study aims to understand and describe of the conditions and Teaching - Learning Process on the Experiential Teaching - Learning Method in the Elementary School Social Studies. In the Social Studies, which advocates the cultivation of creative democratic citizens for the future society, emphasizes 'The Experiential Teaching - Learning Method' in the course of its practice. The Experiential Teaching - Learning Method is an independent learning activity by which the students can recognize correctly the peculiarities and varieties of a social phenomenon, systematize the fundamental principles and objective knowledge. and solve the problems in an active manner. Learning by seeing and hearing in the field cannot be considered to be a proper type of Social Studies. It does not meet the intentional and appropriate learning activity required in the Social Studies. The Social Studies should be led to find out the meaning and characteristics of the social phenomena which the students experience in the field. There for, in this thesis, the characteristics of The Experiential Teaching - Learning Method are redefined for the propel Social Studies. Secondly, a new systematic way of Teaching -Learning Process is suggested for the more effective The Experiential Teaching - Learning Method in the Social Studies.

      • DNA 컴퓨팅을 이용한 배낭 문제 해결

        Though Knapsack Problem appears to be simple, it is a NP-hard problem that is not solved in polynomial time as combinational optimization problems. To solve this problem, GA(Genetic Algorithms) was used in the past. However, there war a difficulties in real experiment because the conventional method didn't reflect the precise characteristics of DNA. This paper proposes code optimization DNA-Haskell, which is a functional language to reduce the error of DNA manipulation and to expect more accurate prediction during the DNA computing process. Code optimization DNA-Haskell was applied to (0,1) Knapsack Problem; as a result, it reduced experimental errors an compared with conventional methods, and found accurate solutions more rapidly.

        재래종과 개량종 돼지고기의 영양성분 비교 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the nutritional composition of native and hybrid pork in Korea. Three different parts (ham, loin and belly) of both native and hybrid pork were used The results were as follows : The moisture content from Korean native pork was about 60.28%, while that from the loin of hybrid one was 69% and decreased in the order of ham, loin, and belly. The highest protein content of 19.71% was found in Korean native pork loin, and Korean native pork ham had a significant amount of protein of 17.80% and hybrid one had 13.14% (p< .05). The highest crude lipid, 34.44%, was found in hybrid pork belly, Korean native pork ham had a significant amount of 5.43% and hybrid pork had 2.33% (p<.05). The highest carbohydrate content of 13.28% was found in the Korean native pork belly. The amount of ash was in the order of loin, ham and belly in Korean native pork. Among the minerals, K was found the most in Korean native pork ham (654.82㎎) and hybrid one (747. 35㎎) (p<.05). Fe was higher in the Korean native pork ham (23.03㎎), loin (15.86㎎) and belly (10.80㎎) compared to the hybrid pork ham (19.04㎎), loin (11.63㎎) and belly (7.61㎎). That was significant ham, loin(p< .01) and belly(p< .05). The main free amino acids of the native and the hybrid pork in Korea were alanine, aspartic acid and lysine. While the cholesterol content was found to be high in the order of ham, belly, and loin in the Korean native pork, in the order of belly, fresh ham and loin in the hybrid pork. The cholesterol contents in ham were significantly different between the Korean native pork(789.32㎍) and the hybrid pork (538.84㎍) (p< .01).

        양극성 장애에서 표피성장인자의 유전적 다형성에 대한 연합연구

        Objectives : Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a neurotrophic factor which regulates the intracellular signaling molecules. These molecules are also affected by mood stabilizers such as lithium and valproate. In addition, epidermal growth factor enhances neuronal survival, maturation and differentiation especially in midbrain dopaminergic neurons of which dysfimction may play a role in pathophysiology of bipolar disorders. Bipolar disorder has some genetic commonalities with schizophrenia, and several association studies of EGF have been done with schizophrenia. In this study, we tried to investigate the geneticassociation between EGF A61G polymorphism and bipolar disorder. Methods : Total of 189 patients and 347 nonnal control were included. All patients satisfied the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV for bipolar disorder type I (BPDI, N= 146) and bipolar disorder type II (BPDII, N=43). Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood, and genotyping was performed by TaqMan™ method. Genotype and allele frequency of EGF A61G polymorphism between the patients and the control were compared by contingency chi-square test or the Fisher's exact test. Results : No association was found between EGF A61G polymorphism and susceptibility of BPDI, BPDII and bipolar disorder (all patients). Female patients with BPDII showed overexpression of AG genotype compared to that ofcontrol group (p=0.03). However, this association was not significant after correction of multiple testing. Conclusion : In conclusion, EGF A61G polymorphism has no association with susceptibility of bipolar disorder. However, the disease modifying role of EGF gene polymorphism for bipolar disorder remains to be elucidated in respect to factors such as gender difference or diagnostic subtype.
