        비지에 대한 인식 및 이용실태에 관한 연구

        Thii study was conducted to investigate the perception and usage of B i through a survey. The subjects of this study consisted of 49.5% males and 50.5% females in the Daegu area The main results are as follows. about 85% of the participants preferred Bi owing to good taste but others didn't like it awing to bad taste. The older generation have liked and eaten it rather than the young Responses to the 13 questions about Bizi were measured on a 5 point Likert scale. The item 'Bi is traditional food' was received the highest point but 'Bizi is delicious' earned the lowest. Furthermore, there were certain significant differences according to the age of the consumer. Dishes using B i as the main ingredient were listed accoding to perception as follows. Bizi-Chigae, Big-Bidaeduck, Bi-Jun, and so on. About one half of the subjects knew how to make Bi and 40.4% of them inherited the recipes from their mothers. Prospects for Bizi consumption showed differences according to the type of generation. About 50.oOh said the plan should be 'suggested cooking methods' and 'made of good quality domestic soybean' for the purpose of better improvement and exlention of consumption

      • 젓갈 종류에 따른 김치의 맛과 저장에 관한 연구

        This study was investigated to find effects of Jeotkal on various Kimchi taste and storage period. After fermentation at 20t for 24 hours, Changes of pH, acidity, reducing sugar, amino acid and sensory evaluation during storage period at 20℃ and 5℃ were examined. The results are as follows: As storage period increase, the pH and content of reducing sugar of Kimchi have decreased, but the acidity has increased. Especially, the pH of Kimchi with salted oyster rapidly decreased. During storage period, the acidity and content reducing sugar in Kimchi with salted oyster were higher than those with others Jeotkal. The content of free amino acid was revealed maild in Kimchi with salted oyster. As a result of sensory evaluation during storage period, earlier on in the storage, Kimchi with salted oyster was higher than that with others Jeotkal in crispness, sour taste, flavor, off-flavor and overall acceptability. But after storage at 20tfor 4 days and at 5'』 for 16 days, Kimchi with fermented anchovy sauce and fermented shrimp sauce were higher than that with salted oyster and control in sensory evaluation.

        우리나라 현행 의약품분류체계에 대한 고찰 및 개선 방안

        Appropriate drug classification is important fur rational drug consumption. This study was conducted to evaluate the appropriateness of current drug classification system and suggest possible ways for improving the system. Nonprescription drug market has been decreased. Since total 27,962 products had been classified (prescription 17,187 vs. nonprescription 10,775 products, 61.5% vs. 38.5%) in July 2000 for implementing separation of drug prescribing and dispensing system, there are no classification changes. Reclassification is not motivated by product holder and regulatory system did not lead classification change either. Consumers' ease access to some nonprescription drugs is demanded. But point of public awareness and cultural and health environmental views, saff drug use rather than advantages from broad supply of nonprescription drugs is more critical. We concluded that current 2-categorized (prescription and nonprescription) drug classification system is appropriate, and addition of general sale category should be approached carefully with long term Preparations such as establishment of better nonprescription drug consuming infrastructure by public information provision and education for improving public medicinal knowledge and strengthening self medication guidance, and review of current classification status of marketed drugs and switching possibilities. For systemizing and encouraging reclassification, introduction of regulatory renewal system as a continuous reevaluation program which is the best way to review appropriateness of drug classification as well as provision of detailed guidance for industry including policy, requirement and process fer reclassification application, are necessary.

        대학 구내식당의 음식쓰레기 감량을 위한 교직원의 의식 및 이용실태 조사

        The goal of this study was to find the way of reduction on food waste in the university cafeteria. A survey was conducted on the 500 faculty members using Yeungnam University cafeteria, and if illustrates the faculty's use and perception for the reduction of food waste. Its results can be summarized as follows 32.0% of the total users use the university cafeteria everyday, also 86.6% of the users preferred Korean style dish. Female users left more food than the male users resulting in more food wastes. The male users resulting in more food waste and the most leaving food was Kimchi than the other types of foods. The most favorite stew and side dish turned out to be Yukgaejang and Bulgogi respectively, also Kimchibokkumbab was the preferred dish. But they disliked Sunjiguk, Ginger, Jellyfish and Mackerel pike. The perception of male users on the reduction of food waste was lower than that of female users. The best way of food waste treatment recognized by the users were utilizing the waste food as fodder for animals or fertilizer.

      • p-Aminosalicylic Acid의 Thiourea 유도체합성

        The nine new thiocarbailide derivatives of p-aminosalicylic acids were synthesized. Arylisothiocyanates were prepared by treatment of carbon disulfide, ammonia and aromatic amines. And alkyl p-aminosalicylates were synthesized by the reaction of p-aminosalicylic acid and alchols. The resulting alkyl p-aminosalicylates reacted with arylisothiocyanates to yield the thiocarbanilides.

        The 15 synthesized p-aminosalicylate esters derivatives were evaluated for their antimicrobial activities, in vitro, against Mycobacterium phlei (CACC 75432), Staphylococcus aureus (CHA 78311), Bacillus subtilis (CAUCC 310) and Escherichia coli (P32). Bivalent ligand derivatives (1-6) showed weaker activities than their parent p-aminosalicylate(PAS) in vitro. But some of thiouera derivatives (8 and 10) gave stronger activities against Mycobacterium phlei and Staphylococcus aureus than their parent p-aminosalicylate.

        Temporal decrease in overall antibiotic consumption accompanying antibiotic prescribing rate disclosure policy: evidence from analysis of national health insurance claims data in South Korea

        The health insurance review and assessmentservices, responsible for the assessment of quality andquantity of healthcare providers’ services, implemented apublic disclosure policy for antibiotic prescribing rate inFebruary 2006. The aim of this study was to investigatechanges of overall antibiotic consumption following thepolicy by analysing national healthcare utilization data from2005 to 2009. Prescription information of systemic antibioticsexcluding antifungals and topical antibiotics was retrospectivelycollected from the population-based healthinsurance claims sample data for the five years from 2005 to2009. Those data were analysed using the standardised anatomicaltherapeutic chemical/defined daily dose method. Antibiotic consumption was standardised by the defined dailydose per 1,000 inhabitants per day (DID). Descriptive statisticswas used to present consumption figures for every year. Secondary comparison to other OECD countries based onpublished reports was added to weigh the antibiotic consumption level of South Korea in a global perspective. Overall antibiotic consumption decreased in 2006 (23.8 DID,3.6 % decrease from 24.7 DID in 2005) and 2007 (21.5 DID,9.7 % decrease from 2006), but rebounded in 2008 (24.3DID, 13 % increase from 2007) and 2009 (25.2 DID, 3.7 %increase from 2008). Temporal decreases in 2006 and 2007were attributed to fewer prescriptions of penicillins (J01Cgroup), among which the decrease in amoxicillin consumptionwas almost equal to that of overall antibiotic consumption. A similar fluctuation trend in overall antibioticconsumption occurred in the out-patient setting rather thanthe in-patient setting. Amoxicillin decreased since 2007,while amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, cefaclor and clarithromycinincreased without dropping. The estimated antibioticconsumption level in this study was higher than the average ofOECD countries, and the yearly fluctuation shown during thefive years was a country specific pattern observed only inSouth Korea. Overall antibiotic consumptionwas temporarilydecreased in 2006 and 2007. But this result might not signifyan effect of government policy of antibiotic prescribing ratedisclosure to the public. The results presented in DID unit, amore objective index than prescribing rates, suggest the needfor further strategies to reduce antibiotic use nationwide.
