      • 탐구학습 중심 과학교수 방법이 유아의 창의성 증진에 미치는 효과

        The aim of this study is to try to grope for the teaching method which is suitable for children by examining how the inquiry-learning-oriented science teaching method proved to be effective in increasing the creativity of children when it is applied as a teaching method. The subject of this study is 30 children of the age of 5-6 years who attend D Kindergarten lacated in Kun-san City. These children were classified into experiment group(15) and comparison group(15) the experiment group was divided into three sub-groups of five and the inquiry-learning-oriented science teaching method was applied to each group 12times respectively over 6 weeks. In this experiment, this researcher measured the difference in creativity between before and after the experiment, along with the difference between boys and girls. Based upon the findings in this experiment, the creativity testing paper was used to find out the marks of sub-abilities such as fluency, flexibility, originality and imagination and it was verified with t-test. In order to find out the difference between boys and girls, the average marks of the experiment group before and after the experiment were examined. The result of this study shows that the inquiry-learning-oriented science teaching method is effective in increasing the creativity of children of children irrespective of sex.

        학부모 양육태도에 따른 영재교육에 대한 인식도 조사연구

        본 연구는 학부모의 양육태도에 따른 영재교육에 대한 인식도를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 도시지역 3군데 J시, G시, I시와 농촌지역 4군데 J군, M군, O군, I군에 소재한 공립유치원에 재학 중인 유치원생의 학부모 289명을 대상으로 학부모 양육태도가 애정적, 거부적, 자율적, 통제적인지를 분류하고 애정적-거부적, 자율적-통제적의 두 대립 성향에 따라 영재교육에 대한 인식도를 조사하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 영재아를 위한 부모교육을 활성화하고 거부적 양육태도를 가진 부모들이 자녀에게 충분한 애정을 느낄 수 있도록 해 주고, 자녀에게 자유로운 표현과 스스로 탐구하는 기회를 제공하고 자녀에 대해 허용감을 주고 완전히 수용해 주는 양육태도를 가지도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 둘째, 아동 개개인이 가지고 있는 각 분야의 영재성을 파악할 수 있는 전문적 소양과 자질을 갖춘 각 분야의 전문가 양성이 필요하다. 셋째, 연구소 성격의 전문 영재교육기관의 설립이 필요하다. 넷째, 국가적 차원에서 영재교육을 위해 무상교육 실시, 국립 영재교육기관 설립확대, 영재교육 연구를 위한 연구소 설치 및 영재교육 전문가 육성, 각 영재교육관에 연구비 지원 등이 조속히 이루어져야 겠다는 결론을 얻었다. This thesis was projected for the purpose of looking into the recongnition of the talented children education, classifying with parents’ upbringing styles, and it classified parents’ upbringing styles with affection, refusal, and autonomy, aiming at 289 parents whose children are enrolled in public kindergartens located at three urban districts, J City, G City, and I City, and four rural districts, J County, M County, O County, and I County, and investigated the recongnition for the talented children education, basing on four kinds of inclination. The results are as followings. First, it is important to activate parent education for the talented children, to help parents, who bring up children with refusal attitude, to give their children sufficient affection, to offer children the chances to express freely and explore, to give children possible permission, and to accept children completely. Second, the cultivated experts with specialized culture and disposition are necessary to grasp the peculiarity of talented children in respective fields. Third, the establishment of the expert talented children education institution specializing in research is necessary. Fourth, at the national level, no-fee education for the talented children has to be carried into effect, the national talented children education agencies have to be established widely, researches for the talented children have to be established, the experts for educating talented children have to be brought up, and research expenses have to be supplied to respective talented children education agencies.

        유아를 위한 단계별 목공활동교수모형개발과 그 효과

        본 연구에서는 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 116명을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누어 단계별 목공활동을 적용하기 위한 교수·학습모형을 개발, 적용하고 그 효과를 검증하였다. 목공활동 프로그램은 유아들의 발달 수준을 고려하여 1수준 기초 동작부터 여러 동작을 연합한 종합적, 창의적 활동으로 5수준까지 확장활동을 해 나가는 것으로 이를 유치원 현장에서 원활하게 적용하기 위해서 교육부 교육과정에서 제시한 교육주제와 맥락을 같이하여 8주간에 걸쳐 총 16회기로 진행하였다. 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교수·학습 모형에 맞춘 단계별 목공활동 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 사용한 검사도구는 인지적 발달 측면에서 공간지각능력과 사려성, 신체적 영역에는 소근육 발달능력에 대한 도구를 사용하였다. 이에 대한 연구결과로 첫째, 공간지각능력에 대한 하위영역인 눈-운동 협응, 공간적 추리, 형태-바탕, 시각적 기억 및 회상, 공간 내에서의 위치지각 등의 하위 영역의 효과를 검증한 결과 모든 하위영역에서 실험집단과 통제집단 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보여 단계별 목공 활동에 참여한 집단은 참여하지 않은 집단보다 공간지각 능력을 향상시키고 있음을 보였고, 둘째, 사려-충동성 검사의 결과는 실험집단의 사후검사에서 8.3%의 비율로 감소하고 있음을 나타내, 목공활동이 유아의 충동적인 행동을 감소시키고 사려적인 행동으로 증진되었으며, 셋째, 단계별 목공활동이 하위영역인 학습생활기술과 소근육 조작능력을 포함한 유아의 소근육 발달에 미치는 효과를 알아본 결과 유아의 소근육 발달능력에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알게 되었다. In this study, the researchers developed and applied the teaching and learning model applicable for step-by-step woodcraft activities, and reviewed its effects for 116 toddlers who were full three, four and five years old. The toddlers were divided into a control group and an experimental group. The woodcraft activity program, which consisted of Level 1 basic movements to Level 5 comprehensive and creative activities, were implemented 16 times for 8 weeks in collusion with the education themes in the curriculum suggested by the Ministry of Education in order to apply smoothly to the kindergarten. In order to review the effects of the step-by-step woodcraft activity program adapted for the teaching and learning model according to the kindergarten curriculum, test tools related with space perception ability and consideration for cognitive development and with small muscle development ability for physical development were used. The results from this study were followings: First, when the effects of the program on the subordinate fields of space perception ability, such as eye-movement interaction, spacial inference, formation-background, visual memory and reminding, location perception within space and so on were tested, there were statistically significant difference for all the subordinate fields between experimental group and control group. This suggested that the group participating in the step-by-step woodcraft activities improved space perception ability more than the other group. Second, the result from the consideration-impulse test showed that the consideration-impulse of the experimental group decreased by 8.3% in the post-test. This suggested that woodcraft activities decreased toddlers` impulsive activities and improved them into considerate ones. Third, when the effects of the step-by-step woodcraft activities on the subordinate fields such as learning life skill and small muscle development including small muscle operation ability were tested, they had positive effects on toddlers` small muscle development.

        외상중환자실 인공호흡기를 장착한 환자의 구강건강상태

        Objectives: To evaluate the oral health status of intubated patients in a trauma intensive care unit (TICU). Methods: Medical records of 70 patients in the TICU between March and November 2018 were reviewed to assess their systemic and general characteristics. Oral health status was examined using the modified Bedside Oral Exam (M-BOE). Among the eight items investigated, swallowing, lips, saliva, plaque, and odor were considered for analysis without further processing, whereas soft tissues, such as the gingiva, buccal mucosa, and tongue were stratified by their texture, color, and moisture level. Oral hygiene scores ranged from 0 (excellent) to 42 (very poor). Results: Oral health status showed that the average M-BOE score was 11.76±4.87. The lowest and highest scores were 3 and 24, respectively. Furthermore, the item-wise breakdown of oral health status showed that the average score was high for gingiva, mucosa, and tongue, and there was a deviation between the minimum and maximum values. Conclusion: The oral health of patients in the TICU was poor. It is crucial to evaluate the oral condition at the time of admission and to improve the oral health of intubated patients, which requires more detailed oral management.

        Epidemiologic and Clinical Outcomes of Pediatric Renal Tumors in Korea: A Retrospective Analysis of The Korean Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Group (KPHOG) Data

        PurposeRenal tumors account for approximately 7% of all childhood cancers. These include Wilms tumor (WT), clear cell sarcoma of the kidney (CCSK), malignant rhabdoid tumor of the kidney (MRTK), renal cell carcinoma (RCC), congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) and other rare tumors. We investigated the epidemiology of pediatric renal tumors in Korea.Materials and MethodsFrom January 2001 to December 2015, data of pediatric patients (0–18 years) newly-diagnosed with renal tumors at 26 hospitals were retrospectively analyzed.ResultsAmong 439 patients (male, 240), the most common tumor was WT (n=342, 77.9%), followed by RCC (n=36, 8.2%), CCSK (n=24, 5.5%), MRTK (n=16, 3.6%), CMN (n=12, 2.7%), and others (n=9, 2.1%). Median age at diagnosis was 27.1 months (range 0-225.5) and median follow-up duration was 88.5 months (range 0-211.6). Overall, 32 patients died, of whom 17, 11, 1, and 3 died of relapse, progressive disease, second malignant neoplasm, and treatment-related mortality. Five-year overall survival and event free survival were 97.2% and 84.8% in WT, 90.6% and 82.1% in RCC, 81.1% and 63.6% in CCSK, 60.3% and 56.2% in MRTK, and 100% and 91.7% in CMN, respectively (p < 0.001).ConclusionThe pediatric renal tumor types in Korea are similar to those previously reported in other countries. WT accounted for a large proportion and survival was excellent. Non-Wilms renal tumors included a variety of tumors and showed inferior outcome, especially MRTK. Further efforts are necessary to optimize the treatment and analyze the genetic characteristics of pediatric renal tumors in Korea.
