        콩 단백 성분 및 연령이 암컷 흰쥐의 혈장 지질 농도와 인지질 지방산 패턴에 미치는 영향

        혈중 지질농도는 식이단백질 종류보다는 연령의 영향을 많이 받아, young군보다 old군의 총 콜레스테롤, TG, HDL-콜레스테롤, LDL+VLDL-콜레스테롤 및 AI 모두 높았다. 한편 콩 단백질군에서 HDL-콜레스테롤 수준이 증가하고, LDL+VLDL-콜레스테롤와 AI는 감소하여, 심혈관질환에 대한 콩 단백질의 유익한 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 식이단백질에 의해 유의한 영향을 받은 혈장 인지질의 지방산조성중 22:0, 18:1ω9, ∑MUFA 조성은 카제인군에서 콩 단백질군 보다 높았으며, 반대로 ∑SFA 조성은 카제인군에서 낮았다. 연령에 의해 혈장 인지질 지방산 조성에 있어 유의한 차이를 보인 지방산 중 22:0, 18:1ω9, 22:1, 18:3ω3 및 22:4ω6는 young군에서 높은 반면에, 22:6ω3, ∑ω3, 18:2ω6, 20:4ω6, ∑ω6 및 ∑PUFA의 조성비율은 old군에서 높게 나타났다. 이와 같이 식이 단백질의 종류보다 연령의 영향력이 더 많이 나타난 것은 혈중 콜레스테롤 수준이 식이 단백질보다는 연령의 영향을 더 크게 받았기 때문으로 생각된다. 혈장 인지질 지방산의 대사지표 중 Δ7-desaturation index(16:0⇒16:1ω7)와 Δ9-desaturation index(18:0⇒18:1ω9)가 식이 단백질의 영향을 받아 카제인군에 비해 콩 단백질군에서 유의하게 낮았다. Δ7- 및 Δ9-desaturation index만이 식이 단백질의 영향을 받은 것은 식이 단백질보다 desaturase 활성에 더 큰 영향력을 미치는 콜레스테롤이 식이에 첨가되었기 때문이라 생각된다. Δ-4 desaturation index (22:4ω6⇒22:5ω6)는 young군에 비해 old군에서 높았으며, elongation index(20:4 ω6⇒22:4ω6)는 old군에서 낮았다. 대부분의 elongation과 desaturation 단계는 연령에 따라 유의한 차이를 보이지 못하였으나, ω3계 지방산의 전체적인 elongation-desaturation 단계를 나타내는 ∑products-fatty acid(ω3)/α-LNA(ω3) 비율이 old군에서 young군보다 유의하게 높아, 연령에 따른 PUFA 대사의 변화가 관찰되었다. 이상에서와 같이, 콩 단백질의 섭취로 흰쥐 혈장 인지질의 ∑MUFA 조성은 낮고 ∑SFA 조성은 높아 다른 지질 강화성분의 섭취와 유사한 결과를 나타내었다. 혈중 콜레스테롤 수준이 높은 old군에서 체내 막조직의 유동성을 유지하기 위해 PUFA의 합성 특히 ω3계 지방산의 elongation-desaturation이 증가하여 총 PUFA 조성이 young군보다 높았다. 연구결과로 이소플라본을 포함한 콩 단백질의 혈중 지질저하 기전에 대해 체계적인 설명은할 수 없지만, 콩 단백질이 혈장 지방산의 조성을 변화시킴으로써 간접적으로 심혈관계 질환에 대해 유익한 효과를 미침을 알 수 있었다. 한편, 이러한 혈관의 건강과 관련된 콩의 유익한 효과는 이소플라본과 같은 콩의 특정 성분의 단독효과라기보다는 콩 단백질과의 복합효과에 의한 것이라는 주장은 매우 설득력 있다고 생각된다. Effects of soy protein concentrate (SPC) containing isoflavone and casein diets on plasma phospholipid (PLs)-fatty acid patterns were investigated in 7- & 40- wk old female rats. Diets containing 16% SPC (soy/young: SY, soy/old: SO) and casein (casein/young: CY, casein/ old: CO) supplemented with 0.5% cholesterol were fed for 4 wks. Fatty acid compositions of plasma PLs were determined by TLC and GLC. Compared to the dietary protein effects, age effects on serum lipids were more profound. The levels of total cholesterol (Chol.), triglyceride, HDL-Chol., (LDL+VLDL)-Chol. and atherogenic index (AI) were higher in older groups (OC & OS) than younger groups (YC & YS). Soy groups had higher HDL-Chol. level and lower (LDL+VLDL)-Chol. and AI, compared with casein groups. The compositions of C22:0, C18:1ω9 and sum of MUFA in plasma PLs were significantly higher in casein group (CY & CO) than soy group (SY & SO), but those of sum of SFA were higher in soy group. The compositions of C22:0, C18:1ω9, C22:1, C18:3ω3 and C22:4ω6 were higher and those of C22:6ω3, sum ofω3, C18:2ω6 C20:4ω6, sum ofω6 and sum of PUFA were lower in plasma PLs of younger rats. The average P/S and ω3/ω6 ratio in older group was higher. The Δ-7 desaturation index (16:0⇒16:1ω7) and Δ-9 desaturation index (18:0⇒18 : 1ω9) were lower in soy group than casein group, while Δ-6 and Δ-5 desaturation index were not affected by dietary protein. The Δ-4 desaturation index (22:4ω6⇒22:5ω6) were higher and, elongation index (20:4ω6⇒22:4ω6) were lower in older group. The ratio of the products of ω3 fatty acid series/precursor of ω3 fatty acid series (C18:3) was significantly higher in older group, which in- dicated that age affected the plasma PUFA metabolism. On the other hand, older rats had higher serum cholesterol level compared with younger rats. Taken together, these changes in fatty acid composition might cause minimal changes in the membrane fluidity induced by the increase serum cholesterol level.

        이재성교수와 한국의 화학공학

        Professor Chai-sung Lee, who had introduced the chemical engineering discipline for the first time into this country, is retiring from Seoul National University at the end of August this year. As the very pioneer of the chemical engineering profession in Korea, he has been serving in various aspects and capacities for the development of the profession. It was by him that the formal chemical engineering curriculum was established at Seoul National University early in 1950's. He was also the man who give birth to the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers in 1962. It was through his leadership that the Third Pacific Chemical Engineers' Congress, held at Seoul in 1983, was a great success and ever since it became a model for an international academic conference in Korea. During his tenure of 43 years at Seoul National University, perhaps the longest in the history of the University, he has surely set a standard not only as a teacher but also as a researcher that can hardly be surpassed. He also served as the Dean of Engineering for four years late in 1970's to make major contributions toward the development of engineering discipline. It is now only natural that we dedicate a special issue of Hwahak Konghak in honor of Professor Chai-sung Lee on this occasion of his retirement from Seoul National University, in recognition of his dedication to the development of the chemical engineering profession. He is now retiring but it is only from the professorship. All of us are quite certain that Professor Lee's professional activities will not be affected at all to make him as busy as ever.

        Platinum complexes having 7-membered ring structure with N,N'-bis(2-hy-droxyethyl)butylenediamine(HeBn) and N,N'-bis(2-chloroethyl)butyelenediamine(CeBn) as carrier ligands were synthesized to enhance antitumor activity and to decrease the toxicity. Platinum complexes were prepared by reacting K_2PtI_4 with HeBn or CeBn. IR, NMR, elementary analysis, ICP-AES and titration method were applied for identification and analysis of the synthesized platinum complexes.

        In Conclusion, it is demanded that we throw away a fixed idea that commercial sports facilities are inferior and that we think its desirable direction of development and prepare a positive policy for it as a social physical education sports facility. We ought to not control it by using the laws of merrymaking businesses but consider the way to guide, assist, and encourage it at a dimension of Physical education development from seperate point of view as stated above. It Plays roles to replenish the shortage of public sports facilities especially in our country, So we first evaluate its roles to be being carried out and its performance limit properly and need to grasp newly the roles of public, private and commercial physical education and sports facilities in the whole organization of social physical education. While the national interests and demands in sports are being expended and accelerated nowadays, if commerical sports facilites are negleated in the contempt and indifference in the actual situation of these days, witout the reasonable conversion of conciousness of the people in the administration authorities about this or the propulsion of constrution of public facilities, the menbership free of menbers using facilities will inevitably soar, the approach of most general public enjoying sports to these facilities will be more difficults, and the alienated people from sports facilites may diffuse the conflict and stress caused by a remarkable contrast of the wealth of money by doing various kinds of antisocial and unadaptable behavior and by drinking too much enough to injure health. These make sports for participating and acting disappear and make sport for just hearing and Watching. This was happended severely in the past and it turns away the essence of soprts while the former is a conflict among castes caused by the superiority and inferiority of sports technics, but a phenomenon of these days is a conflict among castes caused by the distinction of the wealth of maney. This promotes the feelings of distance among people and misleads the vigor of living sports, the sports of our life.

      • 敎習用 縮小型 人臺製作에 關한 硏究

        1. Zweck Ich habe mit einfachen Mitteln versucht, eine verkleinert Form der in der Konfektionsschneiderei beuu¨tzten Standardmaß-Schneidebu¨ste herzustellen, mit der auch die Studentinnen arbeiten, urn ihre theoretischen and praktischen Kenntnisse zu vervollkommren. Beim Medellierenunterricht wird die Standardmaß-Schneideru¨ste dazu benutzt, um den menschlichen Ko¨rper and dessen Stereokonstruktion leichter erfassen zu ko¨nnen. Dabei erscheinen die folgenden Punkte nachteilig: a) Der große Raumbedarf aufgrund der Gro¨ße der Standardmaß-Schneiderbu¨ste b) Der große Material- and Zeituaufwand beim Schnittzeichnen, Zuschnitt and Na¨hen. c) Der Zeitaufwand beim Umsetzten der Schnittzeichnungen in die Praxis, da im Unterricht die Zeichnungen ein Drittel verkleinert anfertigt werden. Aus den oben angefu¨hrten Gru¨nden habe ich eine ½ and ⅓ Verkleinerungs-Schneiderbu¨ste entworfen. 2. Herstellungsablauf a) Die Herstellung der ½ and ⅓ Verkleinerungs-Tonschneiderbu¨ste der Standard maß-Schneiderbuste. Die ½ Verkleinerungs-Schneiderbuste wird A, die ⅓ Verkleinerung A´ genannt. b) Herstellung der ½ and ⅓ Verkleinerungs-Schneiderbu¨ste mit Papierklebemitteln unter Benutzung von A and A´. (B and B´) c) Die Herstellung der fertigen Schneiderbu¨ste C and C´ nach der Vorlage von B and B´. 3. Schlußfolgerung Aus der Benutzung der ½ and ⅓ Verkleinerungs-Schneiderbu¨ste an Stelle der Standardmaß-Schneideruste ergeben sich folgende Vorteile: a) Jederzeit handliches Arbeiten mit der Schneiderbu¨ste auf dem Tisch oder Stuhl, sowohl im Klassenzimmer als auch Wohnraum. b) Die Mo¨glichkeit, die Schneiderbu¨ste leicht zu tragen. c) Der starke verringerte Platzbedarf. d) Die Verku¨rzung der U¨bungszeit Beim Schnittzeichenen, Zuschnitt and Na¨hen e) Das Kostenersparnis durch den verringerten Materialaufwand bei der ⅓ Verkleinerungs-Schneiderbu¨ste. f) Die Mo¨glichkeit der sofortigen Umsetzung ins Dreidimensionale der U¨bungsschnittzeichnungen, da im Modellierenunterricht zu einem Drittel verkleinert gearbeitet wird. g) Nachteil: Die Schwierigkeit durch die gesichtsinnige and sensorische Ungleichheit mit der Standardmaß-Schneiderbu¨ste. Dieser Nachteil wird jedoch durch die wechselseitige Benutzung der Standradmaß- and der Verkleinerungs-Schneiderbu¨ste gro¨ßtenteils aufgehoben.

      • 습식직접합성법에 의한 Pb(??)O₃분말합성

        This research studied the powder preparation of Pb(??)O₃and the sintering characteristics of synthesized powder by wet-direct synthesized method in low temperature under 120℃. Pb(NO₃)₂, ZrOCl₂·8H₂O and TiCl₄ solutions were used as starting materials and suspension was obtained after mixing in constant mole ratio, using KOH as the precipitating agent. Reaction Temperature fixed 100℃ and 120℃, and at each temperature suspensions varied from 12hrs to 168 hrs at intervals of 3hrs. Synthesized powders were filtered, washed and dried and analyzed by DT/TG, XRD, SEM and EDS. In order study sintering characteristics of synthesized powder, it was pressed by isostatic press of 600㎏/㎠ pressure with 10mm diameter, 3mm thickness and sintered from 1,150℃ to 1,330℃ at each temperature in PbO atmosphere. The results obtained in this study are as follows: 1) Pb(??)O₃crystal preparation depends on mole ratio of Zr/Ti, reaction time and reaction temperature. 2) Powders of Pb(??)O₃, Pb(??)O₃, Pb(??)O₃and Pb(??)O₃composition were prepared single phase without intermediates at 100℃ in 51 hrs and Pb(??)O₃, Pb(??)O₃, Pb(??)O₃, Pb(??)O₃,Pb(??)O₃exist reaction residue Pb or ZrO₂ at 120℃ in 168 hrs. 3) Crystal form of synthesized Pb(??)O₃, Pb(??)O₃, Pb(??)O₃and Pb(??)O₃powders were all cubic types and grain size was 1㎛. 4) Sintering temperature of synthesized powder was rised along with the increasing of ZrO₂ composition, and Pb(??)O₃composition presented the best sintering characteristics at 1,270℃ .

        부산지역 일부 중학교 축구부 학생의 식행동, 영양섭취상태 및 혈액성상 조사

        The study was carried out to investigate the dietary attitude and hematological status of the middle school football players in Busan. The survey was conducted from September 15 to October 15, 2006 by questionnaires and data analyzed by the SPSS program. The results are summarized as follows: The weights and body mass indices of the football players were significantly lower than those of the control. Dietary attitude scores showed no significant differences between the groups. Nutrition knowledge scores of the football players were lower than those of the control. Both football players and the control preferred the sweet taste rather than others. The football players preferred the hot taste, meats, and fish rather than the control did. Serum triglyceride level of the football players was significantly lower than that of the control. Blood iron level was significantly lower in the football players than in the control. Blood urea nitrogen concentration was higher in the football players than in the control. Therefore proper nutritional education programs are required for middle school football players to improve their nutritional status and physical strength.

        In this study, the possibility of customers' repurchase is estimated using the data mining techniques in Micro-marketing. The probability of repurchase is estimated using both Logistic regression analysis and Poisson regression analysis. Applying the threshold generated by ROC analysis considering the sensitivity and the specificity to the rent car data, the status of customers' repurchase is predicted. The result shows that the Poisson model predicts the repurchase status better than the Logistic model.
