It is established with new subject; Instrumental Analysis, EDPS, Introduction to Electric Technology, Industrial Management, Quality control. 3. With elimination of overlapping subjects it is assembled with 18, 19 subjects in each course. 4. It is suggested with the topic of experiments and practices extracted from the result of job analysis.

      • Dog Liver Mevalonate Kinase의 分離및 成質에 關한 硏究

        Mevalonate kinase(EC 2. 7. 1. 36), the first enzyme in the ATP-requiring sequence of cholesterol bisoynthesis, has been purified from dog liver and investigated some its properties. 1. This enzyme has a specific activity of 27. 21 μmoles of product formed per min per mg of protein. 2. The effect of MG^2^++, Mn^++ on MVA kinase activity was investigated as follw; Mn^++> Mg^++(at low concentration) Mg^++> Mn^++(at high concentration) 3. The initial velocity pattern suggests that the mechanism of the dog liver mevalonate kinase reaction sequential.

        By impproving the educational program of the Department of Architectural Engineering and studying the theory of learning and the applied method necessary for the development of nation and society, we should develop a satisfying course of education to meet the demand and skill in the industralized society for the purpose of cultivating men of baility with great personalities and creative minds. Therefore, this study focused on classifying several kinds of occupations in the prart of architectured related to what graduates from the department of Architectural Engineering go with into the society. Accordingly after choosing some works adequate to each occupation by the proposed curricula, we tried to establish the scope of education and courses corresponding to the jobs and thus and develop a satisfying curriculum.

        Abstract For electron impact excitation processes of hydrogen atom from the ground state a relationship between the direct and the exchange amplitude is obtained. Within the frame work of the distorted wave approximation, the Coulomb wave is further approximated by the corresponding plane wave, while the ground state wave function is properly parametrized. Thus both scattering amplitudes are evaluated from a single expressioon by varying parameters. The use of the generating function of the Laguerre polynomials enables us to deal with the various excitation processes via a single integrated expression for 1s→2s, 1s→2pm, 1s→3s processes. Their amplitudes and their total cross sections are obtained and compared with the previous results.

      • 강박증 환자에서의 인격장애 공존병리에 관한 연구

        연구목적 : 강박증의 동반인격장애에 관한 연구들은 기존의 개념과 달리 강박성 인격장애와 강박증 간에는 특이적인 관계가 없으며, 강박증 환자들은 다양한 인격장애를 동반한다는 결과를 보여주었다. 그러나 이러한 연구들은 동반 인격장애에 관한 기술적인 분석에 그쳤고, 강박증 환자군의 임상 증상과 동반 인격장애 양상간의 연관성에 관한 분석을 시행하지 않았다. 본 연구의 목적은 강박증 환자군에서의 동반 인격장애를 평가하고 강박증 환자의 다양한 증상과 동반 인격특성 간의 연관성에 대해 연구하는 것이다. 방 법 : DSM-IV의 강박증의 진단기준을 만족하는 59명의 환자군과 32명의 정상대조군을 대상으로 인격장애 질문지를 적용한 후 4∼6점의 절단점을 기준으로 인격장애의 진단이 내려졌다. 먼저 환자군과 정상대조군 간의 특정 인격장애 빈도의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 Fisher's exact test를 시행한 후, 두집단 간에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀진 인격장애 척도 점수에 미치는 Y-BOCS,BDI,BAI점수의 영향을 알아보기 위하여 다중선형회귀 분석을 시행하였다. 결 과 : 1) Fisher's exact test 결과 강박증 환자군은 정상 대조군에 비해 경계성 인격장애(18.6%vs 0%, p=0.007). 회피성 인격장애(55.9% vs 18.8%, p=0.001), 우울성 인격장애(40.7% vs 0%, p=0.000)의 비율이 유의하게 높았다. 2) 다중선형회귀분석 결과 Y-BOCS 점수 (t=2.10, p=0.043)와 BAI점수(t=2.60, p=0.014)는 경계성 인격장애 점수에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 BAI점수(t=3.23, p<0.003)는 회피성 인격장애 저수에, BDI점수 (t=3.08, p=0.004)는 우울성 인격장애 점수에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 결 론 : 강박증 환자군은 정상 대조군에 비해 회피성 인격장애, 우울성 인격장애, 경계성 인격장애의 동반율이 높고, 강박증이 경계성 인격장애의 심각도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to assess the comorbid axis-Ⅱ disorders of obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD) patients and to investigate the relationship between symptoms of OCD and the comorbid personality traits. The subjects were 59 patients who met DSM-IV criteria for obsessive-compulsive disorder and 32 normal controls. All subjects completed personality Disorder Questionnaire-IV(PDQ-IV). The patients completed Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) and Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI), and were rated with Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale(YBOCS). The results were as follows. 1) The OCD patients showed significantly higher prevalence of avoidant, depresssive and borderline personality disorder(p<0.01) compared to controls. 2) The BAI score had significant effect on the avoidant personality score(t=3,23, p<0.003). The BDI score had significant effect on the depressive personality score(t=3.08, p=0.004). The YBOCS(t=2.10, p=0.043) and BAI(t=2.60, p=0.014) scores had significant effects on the borderline personality score. We found that OCD patients had higher prevalence of avoidant, depressive, and borderline personality disorders. We also found that obsessive-compulsive symptoms have significant effect on the severity of borderline personalty traits. We suggest that it would be very helpful to consider Axis-Ⅱ disorders for managing patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

        E. coli rnpB gene의 발현에 영향을 미치는 M1 RNA structural gene의 부분을 조사하였다. P-1 promoter 에서 합성되는 RNA의 5' 부분이 이루는 이차구조를 분석한 결과 +1 에서 부터 +72 까지에 존재하는 hairpin loop 구조가 rnpB gene의 발현에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

      • High-temperature in situ crystallographic observation of reversible gas sorption in impermeable organic cages

        <P><B>Significance</B></P><P>Crystallographic observation of adsorbed gas molecules at high temperatures is a highly challenging task due to their rapid motion. We provide evidence of restrained motions in a self-assembled organic crystal with small isolated cages, inside which the confined CO<SUB>2</SUB> molecules can be identified with in situ X-ray diffraction technique at the high temperature. Although the crystal is nonporous, the CO<SUB>2</SUB> molecules can permeate into the crystal because of thermally activated transient pathways between the cages. We show that the flexible nature of the transient pathways leads to the temperature-driven reversible CO<SUB>2</SUB> sorption, understanding of which can contribute to the design of a system with controlled capture/release of gas molecules.</P><P>Crystallographic observation of adsorbed gas molecules is a highly difficult task due to their rapid motion. Here, we report the in situ single-crystal and synchrotron powder X-ray observations of reversible CO<SUB>2</SUB> sorption processes in an apparently nonporous organic crystal under varying pressures at high temperatures. The host material is formed by hydrogen bond network between 1,3,5-tris-(4-carboxyphenyl)benzene (H<SUB>3</SUB>BTB) and <I>N,N</I>-dimethylformamide (DMF) and by π–π stacking between the H<SUB>3</SUB>BTB moieties. The material can be viewed as a well-ordered array of cages, which are tight packed with each other so that the cages are inaccessible from outside. Thus, the host is practically nonporous. Despite the absence of permanent pathways connecting the empty cages, they are permeable to CO<SUB>2</SUB> at high temperatures due to thermally activated molecular gating, and the weakly confined CO<SUB>2</SUB> molecules in the cages allow direct detection by in situ single-crystal X-ray diffraction at 323 K. Variable-temperature in situ synchrotron powder X-ray diffraction studies also show that the CO<SUB>2</SUB> sorption is reversible and driven by temperature increase. Solid-state magic angle spinning NMR defines the interactions of CO<SUB>2</SUB> with the organic framework and dynamic motion of CO<SUB>2</SUB> in cages. The reversible sorption is attributed to the dynamic motion of the DMF molecules combined with the axial motions/angular fluctuations of CO<SUB>2</SUB> (a series of transient opening/closing of compartments enabling CO<SUB>2</SUB> molecule passage), as revealed from NMR and simulations. This temperature-driven transient molecular gating can store gaseous molecules in ordered arrays toward unique collective properties and release them for ready use.</P>

      • Identification of candidate genomic region associated with seed longevity by re-sequencing in rice

        It is well known that Dharial (Bangladesh origin and weedy rice line) has longer seed longevity than indica and japonica rice varieties. To study the genetic basis of seed longevity of Dharial, we developed 240 BC3F7 backcross recombinant inbred lines derived from the crosses between Dharial (a donor parent) and two korea rice accessions (recurrent parents) including Ilmi and Gopum, respectively. Among these lines, we selected two introgression lines with longer seed longevity and named them Ilmi-NIL and Gopum-NIL. Also, we developed an EMS-induced mutant line from Dharial which has shortened seed longevity, and named it Dharial-EMS. We performed re-sequencing of four rice accessions that are Dharial, Dharial-EMS, Ilmi-NIL, and Gopum-NIL. A total of 706×106 raw reads were generated which provided sequence data over 46x rice genome coverage per each accession. We did genome-wide variation analysis comparing produced re-sequencing data and the re-sequencing data of Ilmi from NABIC database with the Nipponbare reference sequence. By graphical analysis of SNP distribution in rice genome of the five accessions, we could select candidate chromosomal segments introgressed from Dharial in Ilmi-NIL and Gopum-NIL. The introgressed chromosomal segments were in seven regions in Ilmi-NIL and eight regions in Gopum-NIL, and four common introgressed regions between Ilmi-NIL and Gopum-NIL were identified. 2,758 SNPs between Dharial and Dharial-EMS were found in the introgressed regions. Also, we detected 450 genes including at least one SNP among these SNPs. This result will facilitate identification of genes and development of molecular markers for improvement of seed longevity.

        Haplotype Diversity and Durability of Resistance Genes to Blast in Korean Japonica Rice Varieties

        Blast disease caused by the fungal pathogen, Magnaporthe oryzae, is one of the most damaging diseases in rice. The use of resistant varieties is an effective measure to control the disease, however, many resistant varieties were broken down to their resistance effects by the differentiating of new virulent isolates. This study was done to analyze the haplotypes of 31 microsatellite markers linked to five major R genes and two QTLs and to identify the alleles for the putatively novel genes related to durable resistance to blast in 56 Korean japonica and four indica varieties. The 31 microsatellite markers produced 2 to 13 alleles (mean = 5.4) and had PICi values ranging from 0.065 to 0.860 (mean = 0.563) among the 60 rice accessions. Cluster analysis based on allele diversities of 31 microsatellite markers grouped into 60 haplotypes and ten major clusters in 0.810 genetic similarity. A subcluster IV-1 grouped of early flowering varieties harboring Piz and/or Pi9(t) on chromosome 6 and Pita/Pita-2 gene on chromosome 12. The other subcluster V-1 consisted of four stable resistance varieties Donghae, Seomjin, Palgong and Milyang20. The analysis of putative QTLs associated with seven blast resistance genes using ANOVA and linear regression showed high significance to blast resistance across regions and isolates in the markers of two genes Piz and/or Pi9(t) and Pita/Pita-2. These results illustrate the utility of microsatellite markers to identify rice varieties is likely carrying the same R genes and QTLs and rice lines with potentially novel resistant gene.         광한루원의 경관변화양상에 관한 고찰

        본 연구는 누원(樓園) 조성의 관점에서 광한루원의 경관변화양상을 파악하고자 관련 문헌을 바탕으로 공간구조 중심의 변화과정을 4시기의 공간변화로 구분할 수 있었으며, 현존하지 않거나 기록에서 나타나지 않는 경관요소를 설화나 소설에서 나타나는 상상환경에 도입하여 도식화한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 광한루가 처음으로 조성되는 시기는 광한루(廣寒樓)의 전신인 광통루(廣通樓)가 조성되는 기간으로, 작은 개울을 근경으로 그 일대의 지리산을 원경으로 하는 등 경관이 수려한 장소에 위치하고 있으며, 문헌을 통해 광한루는 광통루의 경관을 그대로 계승한 것임을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 광한루가 원(園)의 성격을 가지는 시기는 1582년 이후로. 신선사상이 반영된 이상세계 구현을 위하여 삼신산을 조성하고, 은하수를 상징하는 호수와 오작교를 조성하였다. 셋째, 광한루원이 복구되는 시기는 정유재란 이후부터 일제강점기 기간으로 광한루원의 원형을 회복하는 과정은 매우 부분적으로 진행되어 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 이 당시 기록에서 나타나는 광한루원은 정유재란 이전의 경관을 계승하여 여전히 선경의 모습에 비유되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 넷째, 근대에 이르러 광한루는 춘향전의 배경으로 관광지의 성격을 지니게 되었으며, 세 차례에 걸쳐 권역이 확장되어 현재에 이르고 있다. 다섯째, 광한루원의 각 시기별 변화양상은 광한루를 중심으로 외부로 확장되고 있음을 알 수 있었으나, 외부로 확장되는 요소는 관아누각인 광한루원의 진정성과는 무관한 시설이 다수 유입된 것으로 보인다. 여섯째, 광한루원 일원의 주요 요소들이 설화와 소설 속에 내재된 상상환경에 공통적으로 나타나고, 당시의 정원문화가 묘사되고 있는 것을 통해 문헌상의 한계로 인해 확인할 수 없었던 광한루원의 문화경관을 추정할 수 있었다. This study aims to comprehend that Gwanghalluwon for aspects of landscape change in terms of construction garden(樓園). Transformation focused on the spatial structure is divided into four periods based on literature. And reflect of landscape elements in defunct or unattributable records from tale and novel. The results were as follows. First, The beginning of Gwanghanllu pavilion(廣寒樓) was the composition of the Gwangtongnu Pavilion(廣通樓). The pavilion is located amid beautiful scenery such as the close-range view of a small stream, and distant view Jiri Mountain. Analysis of literature shows that Gwanghallu pavilion was in succession to Gwangtongnu Pavilion`s landscape. Secondly, Gwanghallu(廣寒樓) pavilion represents the characteristic of the garden since 1582. Built the Samsinsan(三神山), Construct Lake and bridge that represents the galaxy for realization of utopia reflect in Taoist ideology. Thirdly, Gwanghalluwon garden was recovered when from Jeong-yu-jae-ran(丁酉再亂) to the Japanese Ruling Era. It took Gwanghalluwon garden a long while to recover from original form. According to records, Gwanghalluwon garden is still being likened to the landscape of fairyland by inheriting landscape in the previous of Jeong-yu-jae-ran(丁酉再亂). Fourth, By the modern times, Gwanghalluwon Garden has personality of tourist attractions. Until now, the area of the Gwanghalluwon garden has been expended during the processes of three times. Fifth, Aspect of landscape change of Gwanghalluwon is wide-spreading mainly Gwanghallu pavilion. But elements of external expansion in garden by introduced into the facility irrelevant to the authenticity of the garden. Sixth, Comprehension the cultural landscape of the garden are limited by deficient records. But, the main elements in the Gwanghalluwon garden are commonly appeared on imaginary environment within a tale and a novel. In addition, culture of garden at the time was depicted in tale and novel. In this sense, cultural landscape in garden was able to estimate through imaginary environment within novel.
