Analytical Formulation of the Input-output Relationship of Typical Fuzzy Logic Controller
Seo,Seon Hak,Lee,Chul Heui 강원대학교 정보통신연구소 1999 정보통신논문지 Vol.3 No.-
In this paper, we provide a mathematical analysis of the nonlinear characteristic of typical fuzzy logic controller by using the cell concept, since it is important to reveal analytical structure of fuzzy logic controllers so that the well-developed conventional control theory can be applied to analyze and design fuzzy control systems effectively. The output of FLC is decomposed into two parts: a two-dimensional multi-level relay(interval effect) and a local nonlinear compensator(cell effect). With higher fuzzy resolution(i.e. by fine partitioning of fuzzy variables) a higher degree of linearity in the control surface can be attained. Based on this result, we compare the operational characteristic of fuzzy logic controller with that of the conventional PID controller.
Vol.12 No.-
Postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) is a new emerging disease in swine herds world wide, and porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) is known as a major cause of PMWS. In this study, the prevalence of PCV2 Rep gene was examined for the serum, nasal swabs and feces collected from 30 heads of piglets affected with PMWS and 10 heads of normal healthy piglets using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The diagnostic efficiency of the PCR was evaluated for different types of samples. Rep gene of the isolate (PCV2 S1) was then sequenced. In the group of PMWS-affected piglets, the prevalence of PCR-positive were 70.0% in sera, 33.3% in nasal swabs and 0% in feces. In the normal healthy group, the PCR-positive rates of sera, nasal swabs and feces were 30%, 20% and 0%, respectively. Seven piglets (17.5%) out of 40 showed the simultaneously positive results in both of sera and nasal swabs. The nucleotide sequence homology of Rep gene of PCV2 S1 as compared with the reference strain of PCV2 (GenBank accesson no.AF027217) was 99.3%.

Mast cells reside in many tissues, including the lungs, and might play a role in enhancing influenza virus infections in animals. In this study, we cultured porcine mast cells from porcine bone marrow cells with IL-3 and stem cell factor to study the infectivity and activation of the 2009 pandemic H1N1 influenza virus of swine origin. Porcine mast cells were infected with H1N1 influenza virus, without the subsequent production of infectious viruses but were activated, as indicated by the release of histamines. Inflammatory cytokine- and chemokine-encoding genes, including IL-1 alpha, IL-6, CXCL9, CXCL10, and CXCL11, were upregulated in the infected porcine mast cells. Our results suggest that mast cells could be involved in enhancing influenza-virus-mediated disease in infected animals.

Efficient Extraction of Hierarchically Structured Rules Using Rough Sets
Lee, Chul-Heui,Seo, Seon-Hak Korean Institute of Intelligent Systems 2004 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL of FUZZY LOGIC and INTELLIGE Vol.4 No.2
This paper deals with rule extraction from data using rough set theory. We construct the rule base in a hierarchical granulation structure by applying core as a classification criteria at each level. When more than one core exist, the coverage is used for the selection of an appropriate one among them to increase the classification rate and accuracy. In Addition, a probabilistic approach is suggested so that the partially useful information included in inconsistent data can be contributed to knowledge reduction in order to decrease the effect of the uncertainty or vagueness of data. As a result, the proposed method yields more proper and efficient rule base in compatability and size. The simulation result shows that it gives a good performance in spite of very simple rules and short conditionals.

( Seo Young Oh ),( Bo Hyun Kim ),( Eun Heui Kim ),( Min Jin Lee ),( Sung Su Kim ),( Jong Ho Kim ),( Yun Kyung Jeon ),( Sang Soo Kim ),( In Joo Kim ) 대한내과학회 2016 대한내과학회 추계학술대회 Vol.2016 No.1
Gastrinoma in MEN type 1 occurs in approximately one in 90,000 individual. And liver metastasis from neuroendocrine tumor occur in up to 75% of the patient and it has significantly worsen their prognosis. We reported the case of a 43 year old man with MEN type 1. He was admitted for evaluation of hepatic mass on abdominal CT. His fasting plasma level of gastrin was very high. Abdomen CT and MRI demonstrated multiple masses at 3, 4 segment of the liver. Percutaneous liver biopsy and endoscopic ultrasonography with biopsy showed metastasis of neuroendocrine carcinoma. Immunohistochemically studies were positive for CD56, synaptophysin, chromatogranin. But there was no liver metastasis in Somatostatin-receptor scintigraphy and PET-CT. Based on these results, it is concluded that the patient had a gastrinoma with liver metastases in MEN 1. Microscopic examination and immunohistochemical markers confirmed our diagnosis. Somatostatin-receptor scintigraphy and PET-CT was false negative. And we started long acting somatostatin treatment.
被蔭이 Angelica takesimana의 物質生産에 미치는 效果에 關한 硏究
李一球,金源,徐貞姬,李浩俊 建國大學校附設 應用科學硏究所 1979 理學論集 Vol.5 No.-
A cultural experiment was performed on Angelica takesimana Plant in order to investigate the dry matter production under varying relative light intensity. The light level in this experiment was 7%, 30%, 50%, 70%, and 100%(control) daylight. The varying light intensities were controlled by reed and nylon screens supported on wooden frames (2m×1.2m×0.7m). Under these conditions the growth or dry matter production of the samples was observed. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The growth patterns of Angelica takesimana in total dry matter production per individual in the last sampling were generally divided into three groups: 70%, 50%-100% and 7%-30%. And the growth of Angelica takesimana in total plant dry weight was high value in the 70% daylight and in deeper shade(7% and 30% daylight) the dry matter production was evidently depressed by shading in later stage. 2. In growth pattern, the C/F ratio showed high value in the 50% and 100% at the first sampling, but at the last sampling was the highest value in the 7% daylight. 3. The T/R ratio showed low value in the 50% and 100% at the first sampling, and it was decreased from 3.2464 to 1.2953 in accordance with the passing of time in the 7%, 30%, and 100%, but it was increased in the 50% and 70% from 2.4229 to 4.1986 in course of the day. 4. The number of the branches was highest in the 70% group, but was not increased in the 7% group.

In this paper, a new approach to modeling of nonlinear systems using fuzzy theory is presented. To express the various and complex behavior of nonlinear system, we combine multiple model method with hierachical prioritized structure, and the mountain clustering technique is used in partitioning of system. TSK rule structure is adopted to form the fuzzy rules, and Back propagation algorithm is used for learning parameters in consequent parts of the rules. Also we soften the paradigm of Mamdani's inference mechanism by using Yager's S-OWA operators. Computer simulations are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
