<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Eye iris has been widely recognized as one of the strongest biometrics attributed to its high accuracy performance. However, templates in conventional iris recognition systems are unprotected and highly vulnerable to numerous security and privacy attacks. Despite a number of cancellable biometric schemes have been proposed but at the expense of substantially decreased accuracy performance. In this paper, we introduce a new cancellable iris scheme, coined as “Indexing-First-One” (IFO) hashing. IFO hashing is inspired from the Min-hashing that primarily used in text retrieval domain. However, IFO hashing has been further strengthened by two novel mechanisms, namely P-order Hadamard product and modulo threshold function. The IFO hashing scheme strikes the balance between accuracy performance and privacy/security protection. Comprehensive experiments on CASIA-v3 iris benchmark database and rigorous analysis demonstrate decent accuracy performance with respect to its original counterparts yet offer strong resilience against several major security and privacy attacks.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A new scheme to generate cancellable iris template with Jacaard similarity matcher. </LI> <LI> Modification of Min-hashing to strengthen the privacy security in IFO. </LI> <LI> IFO provides strong security and privacy against SHA, MHA, ARM, PIA attacks. </LI> <LI> IFO can be applied to variety of biometric feature with binary representation. </LI> </UL> </P>

Injection molding technique is directly related to high quality, low cost which customer needs. Injection molding process is very importantly dealt with the sharp increase of resin consumption and so is studied very actively nowadays. The influential factors to injection molding parts are material melting temperature, mold temperature, injection speed, injection pressure melting temperature are especially important. The boundary and contents of research and development are design injection molding making test specimen of KS rules, manufacturing injection mold, injection varied on mold temperature, injection pressure and melting temperature, mechanical properties injection test specimen, and analysis of test. In this study the specimen for tensile and impact strength tests were made under various cylinder and mold temperatures. Measurements were done to find optimum region of mechanical strength through the tests. And me found that mechanical strength decrease by increasing mold temperature and decreasing melting temperature. Therefore if the molding process is done under the optimum injection characteristics of resin for the final parts can by optimized as well as formability.

Effects of catalyst loading amount, reaction temperature, O2 concentration, NH3/NO molar ratio and SO2 on low-temperature catalytic performance of the Mn–La–Ce–Ni–Ox (Mn/La/Ce/Ni = 2.5:2.5:1:1 in mol)/ PPS for NH3-SCR of NO were mainly studied. Results showed that the filter with catalyst loading amount of 250 g/m2 obtained more than 95% NO removal efficiency at 200 8C under filtration velocity of 1 m/min. The NO removal efficiency was still above 85% by injecting 300 ppm SO2 at 200 8C. Anyway, the Mn–La– Ce–Ni–Ox/PPS catalytic filter is promising to achieve the expectation of simultaneous removing particulate and NOx from low-sulfur flue gas in cement kiln.
Delay-dependent Stabilization for Systems with Multiple Unknown Time-varying Delays
Min Wu,Yong He,Jin-Hua She 대한전기학회 2006 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.4 No.6
This paper deals with the delay-dependent and rate-independent stabilization of systems with multiple unknown time-varying delays and time-varying structured uncertainties. All the linear matrix inequalities based conditions are derived by employing free-weighting matrices to express the relationships between the terms in the Leibniz-Newton formula. The criteria do not require any tuning parameters. Numerical examples demonstrate the validity of the method.
Balanced Reactive-Deliberative Architecture for Multi-Agent System for Simulation League of RoboCup
Min Wu,Jun Peng,Jin-Hua She,Xin Chen,Wei-Hua Cao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2009 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.7 No.6
This paper presents an architecture for a multi-agent system for the RoboCup simulation league. It consists of a dynamic dual behavior-based architecture for an intelligent agent, a behavior-based decision algorithm, and a dynamic role-based multi-agent cooperation model. A new concept called confidence function is introduced to balance reactivity and deliberation. This architecture was implemented in a team, and match results demonstrate its validity.
Experimental studies of suppressing effectiveness on sloshing with two perforated floating plates
Yue-Min Yu,Ning Ma,She-Ming Fan,Xie-Chong Gu 대한조선학회 2019 International Journal of Naval Architecture and Oc Vol.11 No.1
In the present paper, model tests of suppressing sloshing fitted with two perforated floating plates are carried out. The study involves identification of system performance such as the suppression and the solidity ratio. Three different solidity ratios of perforated plates have been tried out as potential positive slosh damping devices. A series of painstaking experiments have been conducted in a rigid rectangular tank on six degrees of freedom motion platform under roll harmonic excitation. Comparison of the clean tank shows that the three types of perforated plates are all effective on damping the run-up and impact pressure along the bulkhead. The parametric study indicates that the perforated plate with the median solidity ratio is the most optimal one in suppressing sloshing among three configurations.

Background: Binafuxi granules are a traditional Uighur medicine (TUM) for treating the common cold with fever. However, high-quality clinical studies supporting its efficacy and safety are lacking. Methods: In this multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase II clinical trial, patients with common cold and fever were randomly assigned to a high-dose group, low-dose group, and placebo group in a 1:1:1 ratio. Outcomes were time to fever relief, time to fever clearance, proportion of afebrile patients, time to symptom disappearance, rate of symptom disappearance, effective rate, emergency drug usage and safety assessment. Results: A total of 235 patients were recruited. Of these, 234 were included in the full analysis set (FAS), and 217 were included in the per-protocol set (PPS). In the FAS analysis, the median time to fever relief was 6.00 h, 5.54 h and 10.65 h (P = 0.31) in the high-dose group, low-dose group and placebo group, respectively. The median time to fever clearance was 18.29 h, 20.08 h and 25.00 h (P = 0.0018), respectively, and the proportion of afebrile patients was 92.4%, 89.7% and 71.4% (P = 0.0002), respectively. There was a significant difference in the disappearance time and disappearance rate of all symptoms and of individual symptoms. No serious adverse events were found. Conclusions: Binafuxi granules can dose-dependently shorten the fever course and improve clinical symptoms in patients suffering from the common cold with fever.
