        This thesis is a study on the quench characteristics in epoxy impregnated superconducting magnet. Teh normal 3one propagation velocity, full quench time and full recovery time in a superconducting magnet during quench are simulated numerically. Propagation velocity is linearly proportional to the transport current and abruptly increases near the critical current. Longitudinal velocity is nearly 20 times of transverse velocity regardless of the transport current. The ratio of the transverse velocity to longitudinal velocity is about 0.04 regardless of the transport current and the full quench time is abruptly decreased near the minimum propagation current. Comparing superconducting composites composed of Cu matrix to the composites of Cu/CuNi matrix, the propagation velocity of the former is slower than the latter, while the full quench time of the former is longer under the same transport curent.

        식중독균 항원(Salmonella typhimurium)에 의한 계란항체(IgY) 생산성과 분리 정제

        This study was carried out to get a industrial information about a possibility of IgY antibody production, antimicrobial activity and properties of IgY antibody in egg yolk. After the initial immunization the anti-Salmonella typhimurium IgY antibody level gradually were decreased from firth week to tenth week. On the other hand, the antibody level in the serum were increased from the first week, reaching its peak in the sixth week. Molecular weights of IgY were estimated approximately 72~75KD in a heavy chain and 30~40KD in a light chain by electrophoresis.

        대청호 유역 오염부하량 산정

        The water quality and quanity, pollution loading of the upper and direct inflow streams to DaechungHo Watershed were investigated. It was found that and the major pollution sources in DaechungHo Watershed was livestock waste. The pollution loading ratio of Kuemgang main stream, Bocheongcheon and Sookcheon in the items of BOD, TN and TP were obtained 70%, 20% and 10%, respectively. The delivery loading amounts of DaechongHo were surveyed 10,209 kg day^1 for BOD, 26,397 kg day^1 for COD, 26,288 kg day^1 for TN and 306.0 kg day^1 for TP by 2000 year when applied the 1998 and 1999 year without the flowing amount in three years.

        식중독균 항원(Salmonella typhimurium)에 의하여 생성된 계란항체(IgY) 특성과 항균 효과

        This study was carried out to get a industrial information about a possibility of IgY antibody production, antimicrobial activity and properties of IgY antibody in egg yolk. The residual antibody activities of IgY were 91.5% after heating for 30min at 60℃. At the same time, these activities, were 73.2% after heating 15min at 65℃ and decreased vapidly at 70℃ and little antibody activity was left after heating for 15min at 80℃. When the prepared IgY was incubated at various pH ranges from 7 to 2 for 5hr at 37℃, the antibody activity was stable from pH 7 to 4 and remained to 69.8% at pH 3.

      • 고온 초전도체의 국부�치 에너지에 따른 온도분포 해석

        The transient one-dimensional heat conduction equation in a high Tc bulk superconductor with an localized hot zone has been analyzed numerically. After the heater energy is introduced in a few miliseconds, the development of the normal zone and full quench time are calculated with respect to distance as a fuction of three parameters including : transport current, heater current, heating time. The analysis of this model is performed using finite difference method under modified adiabatic condition. The results of computer simulation are also presented in this paper. Full quench occurs when transport currents exceed 1.15[A] in given heater current and heating time. A temperature of superconductor rises abruptly in heating region when heater energy is increased. If heater energy is same, heating time is dominant factor for quench. Given heater energy, ohmic heat dissipation is dominant part for quench. But, heating energy is dominant part for quench than conduction. When heater energy is large, quench is not affected by transport currents.

      • 식중독균 항원(Salmonella typhimurium)에 의한 계란항체(IgY) 생산성과 항체특성 및 항균효과

        본 연구는 식중독균을 항원으로 하여 산란계에 면역시킨 후 계란 항체(IgY)의 생산 가능성을 검토하고, 그 항체의 특성과 항균성을 조사하고자 실시하였다. 그 방법으로는 항원으로 사용된 Salmonella typhimurium(ATCC 14028) 등을 incomplete Freund's adjuvant와 동량으로 혼합하여 면역시킨 후 10주간 생산된 계란을 수집하여, 계란항체(IgY)의 분리 및 식중독균 항원에 대한 항체의 특성, 항균성, 생화학적 특성을 측정하였다. S. typhimurium 항원에 면역된 산란계의 계란항체(IgY)생산 및 증가를 측정한 결과, 산란계가 이들 항원에 면역반응을 일으켜 2주 후 혈청과 난황에서 각각 normal군에 비하여 뚜렷한 항체가 생성능을 보였으며, 혈청내의 IgG생성에 비하여 계란항체(IgY)의 생성이 다소 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 혈청 및 난황내의 단백질 함량은 normol군에 비하여 약간 높은 경향을 나타내어 산란계의 혈청 및 난황내의 단백질이 이들 항원에 의하여 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. DEAE-Sephacel column을 통과한 fraction은 두 개의 peak를 나타내었다. 각 fraction의 IgY농도를 ELISA법으로 확인한 결과 두 번째 peak에서 대부분 측정되었다. 분리 정제된 IgY의 분자량을 SDS-polyacrylamide 전기영동법으로 측정한 결과, heavy chain 72∼75KD, light chain 30∼40KD정도였다. Anti-S. typhimurium 항체의 온도에 대한 활성은 60℃에서 30분 가열시 91.5%, 65℃에서 15분 가열시 각각 73.2%의 활성도를 나타내었으며, 80℃에서 15분간 가열시는 거의 활성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. pH에 대한 안정성은 pH 7부터 pH 4까지는각각 98.7%의 활성도를 유지하다가 pH 3부터 급격히 감소하여, pH 2에서는 9.6%로 거의 활성도를 나타내지 않았다. 항균활성을 응집가, 생균수, disc diffusion susceptibility test 등으로 측정한 결과 anti-S. typhimurium 항체의 항균활성도는 매우 미약하게 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서, 본 실험에서 사용된 IgY는 항원에 대한 특이성 및 생화학적 특성 등을 고려해 볼 때 앞으로 식중독균 제거 및 예방 치료뿐만 아니라 식품산업 소재, 각종 질병예방을 위한 의약품 소재, 연구용 kit와 진단용 kit 및 축산분야 등 여러 분야에 응용될 수 있으리라 기대된다. Immunoglobulin Y in egg yolk and immunoglobulin G in serum were obtained from gens which were immunized with Salmonella typhimurium(ATCC14028). These antibody titers were evaluated in serum and egg yolk by ELISA. After the initial immunization the anti-Salmonella typhimurium IgY antibody level gradually were decreased from firth week to tenth week. On the other hand, the antibody level in the serum were increased from the first week, reaching its peak in the sixth week. The residual antibody activities of IgY were 91.5% after heating for 30min at 60℃. At the same time, were 73.2% after heating 15min at 65℃ and decreased vapidly at 70℃ and little antibody activity was left after heating for 15min at 80℃. When the prepared IgY was stable from pH 7 to 4 and remained to 69.8% at pH 3, respectively.

        유포변경 간헐폭기식 침전지내장형 산화구시스템에 의한 하수의 탈질,탈인

        Phased isolation intrachannel clarifier ditch system devised in this study is an innovative biological nutrient removal system employing two ditches with intrachannel clarifiers and eliminating external per-anaerobic reactors and recycle of sludge and treated effluent. The performances of the system were evaluated through a long term pilot-scale experiments. The system operated at hydraulic retention times of 10-21hours and solids retention times of 16-36days showed removals of biochemical oxygen demand, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus in the range of 90-99%, 64-93%, and 63-98%, respectively, at the mixed liquor temperature above 10℃. The solids retention time played a relatively important role among the operational parameters of the system. As the solids retention time became longer, the effluent total nitrogen decreased dramatically, whereas the effluent total phosphorus increased. Optimal system operating strategies maximizing phosphorus release and its uptake as well as nitrification and denitrification satisfying both the best nitrogen and phosphorus removals included hydraulic retention times ranged 10-14hours and solids retention times ranged 20-25days. The phase separation in a cycle maximizing the performance of the system was completely accomplished by scheduling of alternating flow and intermittent aeration in a simplified process scheme. Especially, temporal phase separation for phosphorus release without additional anaerobic reactor was successfully accomplished during anaerobic period without any nitrate interference and carbon-limiting. The phased isolation ditch system with intrachannel clarifier developed in this study was, therefore, believed to be a simplified and improved option to solve the problems in the existing biological nutrient removal technologies.

      • 길경 Saponin 이 고지방식이를 한 흰쥐의 혈청, 간장 및 분변 지질 함량에 미치는 영향

        6주간 고지방식이를 섭취한 흰주에 있어서 길경 saponin이 지방 축적 억제와 대사에 미치는 영향을 검토하고자 혈청과 간장 및 분변 중 지방 성분을 생화학적으로 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 혈청 및 간장중의 총지질, 총콜레스테롤 및 중성지방 함량은 길경 saponin군이 대조군에 비하여 유의한 감소를 보였다. 2. 분변 중 총지질 및 총콜레스테롤 함량은 대조군과 비교할 때 길경 saponin군이 다소 배설이 증가되었으나, 유의성은 인정되지 않았다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Platycodi radix saponin(PRS) on the reduction of lipid status in rats fed on high fat diet for 6 weeks after which lipid contents were measured in serum, liver and feces. The results obtained from this study are as follows; That the levels of total lipid, total cholesterol and triglyceride in serum and liver were significantly lower in the PRS group as compared with the control group. The contents of total lipid and total cholesterol excreted in the feces were tended to be slightly increase in PRS group compared to the control group, which were not significant.
