      • 漕挺選手들의 合宿訓練時 LDL-C, TG, HDL-C의 變化

        The study was carried to investigate the effect of endurance training, performed six days per week at approximately 140∼ 180 beats/min on LDL - cholesterol, Triglceride, HDL - cholesterol in the midest lipids components. The subjects in this study were eight competitive rowing player (male 4, female : 4). After being fully informed of the risks and stresses associated with participation, each subject signed on institutionally approved consent form. The ferquency of exercise on training schedual was performed six day per week, and the time of exercise was 6 hours a day.The results through the staistical analysis of LDL-choleterol triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol in lipid components were as follows. ①Serum lipid components of subjects (mal, female)were on the ideal level. ②In triglycerides compoments were changes, significant difference from second sessions the each group(P<0.05). ③In LDC - Cholesterol were changes significant difference from second sessions in the male group(P<0.05).from third sessions in the female group (P<0.05). ④In HDL - cholesterol were changes significant difference from third sesions in the each groups (P< 0.05) In conclusion I followed difference in the changes of lipid components before and after long term training.And I think that will need more study about the total-cholesterol, HDC - Cholesterol ratio etcs.

        이트리아 첨가 붕규산염 유리로 제조한 알루미나-유리 복합체의 강도 평가

        This study was performed to investigate the strength of dental alumina-glass composites. Four different brosilicacte glasses containing 1, 3, 6, 9 mol% Y₂O³ were prepared. Alumina compacts were prepared by pressing 150㎏/㎠ and sintering at 1100℃ for 2 hours. Dense composites were made by infiltrating partially sintered alumina with at 1200℃ for 6 hours. The obtained results were summarized as follows: 1. With increasing the amount of Y₂O₃ the peak of exothermic heat and softening point were shifted to the higher temperature. 2. Borosilicate glasses showed the coefficient of thermal expansion in the range of 6.36 to 6.56×10-6/℃. 3. The maximum biaxial strength of 385.7±34.4MPa was obtained with an addition of 6mol% Y₂O₃. 4. The observation of fracture surfaces showed the crack deflection and crack bridging and that appeared to be the principal strengthening mechanism in the alumina-glass composites.

        Ths effectiveness of reduction of garlic flavor in model solution was investigated using metal oxide sensor of electronic nose. After removing garlic sample (control) it was washed by milk or casein solution. The obtained data from electronic nose were analyzed by principal component analysis. Control Sample was separated from the treatment that was washed with 1, 3, 5% casein solution by first principal component score. There is no difference between 1% casein treatment and 3% casein one. Five percent casein solution was effectively differentiated from control. It means that casein (5%) might be bound with garlic flavor. One percent green tea was effective but it was done by washing rather than binding.

      • 대학급식의 미생물적 품질보증을 위한 HACCP의 적용 : 참치샐러드 Tuna Salad

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the microbiological quality, and to assure the safety of the food production process in the university foodservice facilities in accordance with the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point(HACCP) concepts. The kitchen layout and time-temperature relationship, miciobiological quality(total plate count, coliform) were assessed to identify the critical point during each of the production phases. The results were as follows: 1) The kitchen layout had to be improved because contamination area was not separated from non-contamination area, and work table was in contact with washing sink. 2) Some employee did not follow personal hygiene standards(hand washing), and did not wear proper working uniforms(hair restraints). 3) The production time of tuna salad was 120 min, and environment temperature was 20.1~26.0℃. Improper receiving temperature, inproper holding practices(without cover at room temperature) were observed. 4) In the purchasing phase of the raw materials, the microbiological quality of green pepper was not at acceptable level based on the TPC(2.3×10^6CFU/g)and coliform(>14,000 MPN/g). During washing phase TPC was decreased about 3 log cycle. After cutting and holding phase the level of TPC and coliform were increased rapidly. At serving phase the microbiological quality of tuna salad were not at acceptable level(TPC 3.3×10^6 CFU/g, coliform 11,000 MPN/g) according to the standard set(TPC <10^5 CFU/g, coliform <100 MPN/g) by Sorberg et al. 5) For tuna salad, critical control points were purchasing and receiving of fresh vegetables, washing, cutting, holding, mixing and serving phase.

      • 셀룰로오스에 브롬화비닐의 그라프트 반응과 그 방염성에 관한 연구

        셀룰로오스에 방염성을 부여하기 위해 산화-환원 개시제인 Ce^??이온을 이용하여 브롬화비닐을 그라프시켰다. 일반적으로 그라프트율은 시간에 따라 증가하다가 정상 상태에 도달하고,단량체 농도에 비례하며 극대치를 갖는 개시제의 농도가 존재한다. 그라프트율의 증가에 따라 한계산소지수가 높아져 방염성을 보임을 알 수 있다. To impose the flame retardant properties on cellulose, vinyl bromide was grafted on cellulose by redox initiator Ce^??. Generally, graft yield increases according to graft reaction time but as time goes on it shows steady state, however, it keeps on increasing in proportion to monomer concentration and has an optimum initiator concentration. It was found that LOI was proportional to graft yield and grafted cellulose had flame retardant properties.

      • 세자리 Schiff base Cobalt(Ⅱ)와 Nickel(Ⅱ) 착물들의 합성과 전기화학적 성질

        Co(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ) complexes containing tridentate Schiff base ligand SOIPH [salicylidene-o-iminopyridine] derived from salicylaldehyde with 2-aminopyridine were synthesized. These complexes were characterized 표 elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis(T.G.A.), solution conductivity, and IR and UV-visible spectra. It was found that Co(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ) complexes had a 2 : 1 Schiff base ligand to metal(Ⅱ) ratio and were octahedral configuration. The redox processes of these complexes in DMF and DMSO containing 0.1M TEAP as supporting electrolyte were investigated at glassy carbon electrode by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and at HMDE(hanging mercury drop electrode) by differential pulse polarographic (DPP) technique. Reduction of Co(Ⅱ) complex was two steps, whereas Ni(Ⅱ) complex was one step. Reduction of these complexes observed as one electron process irreversibly and diffusion- controlly. Reduction of the Co(Ⅱ) complex was observed positive potential than Ni(Ⅱ) complex.

      • 담양신설 IC의 교통소음도 조사연구

        After the vehicle has become a large formation with high-speed, loud noise from an express highway is increasing, and the number of large-scale apartment complexes, which are recently being constructed in the metropolitan area nearby the express highway and IC, is increasing gradually. Compared with a main road, the traffic volume and the speed of a vehicle between IC and the ramp way [turn-off] are smaller. If the ramp way is rightly connected with the downtown area, however, the traffic-noise that comes about in surrounding areas will be in conjunction with the traffic-noise from the main road of express highway and that of the ramp way. This research has selected a place that hasn't had a road or a commercial quarter nearby the main-road of IC and ramp way. Then we have studied the traffic-noise status under minimizing influence of its outer-noise, which occurs in IC. 1. The traffic volume change of a small and full-sized car with time has been kept on regularity in 2004 and 2005. As the traffic volume of a full-sized car has diminished remarkably, it has been maintaining through 6:00a.m.-10:00 a.m. As it has decreased since lO:OO a.m.. we have also observed the traffic proportion going up. 2. Monthly traffic volume of small cars was higher in May, August and October than other months. We have observed that the high traffic volume during these months is due to the following: May-The Damyang festival, August-a high-demand season, October-viewing scarlet maple leaves. Monthly traffic volume of full-sized cars was generally higher in August, but it has decreased during 2006. This was due to the many construction trucks that were working on the extension of the 88 Olympic expressway. Therefore, there was more traffic volume in 2006 compared to 2004 and 2005. 3. In this study, the noise figures have been less than 55 dB(A) in 18 spots. There were 14 spots from 55dB(A) to 58dB(A). 58-61dB(A) : 20, 61-64dB(A) : 17, 64-67dB(A) : 18. There were 8 spots we observed at the highest level from 67dB(A) to 70dB(A). Those were the nearby spots separating the main road and Damyang IC. 4. Traffic-noise at the boundary between IC and the main road of an expressway was higher than that of the same distance in other places. 5. We have observed that traffic-noise is low in places with mountains that serve the role of soundproofing walls. Thus, the fundamental sound hadn't affected it.

      • 월출산국립공원 수질특성에 관한 연구

        Because mountain streams have narrow widths and steep slopes compared to streams and lakes, hours of immobility are considerably short, and the quality of mountain streams has been greatly influenced by rainfall, land-use, components of the streambed and types of forests. During the summer when heavy rainfall occurs, eroded earth and sand flow into mountain streams and cause temporarily high turbidity. It is also the cause of eutrophication, which is frequently found in downstream. As evaluation standards for the quality of mountain streams were not established in Korea, this quality was evaluated by examining some items based on quality standards for drinkable water and research on the influences of pollution in mountain streams, which showed that these were seldom in downstream water systems. Mountain streams within Wolchulsan National Park flow into a reservoir and when characteristics of mountain streams from forests and rainfall that flow into mountain streams through forest ecosystems were studied, results of measuring its changes are as follows. Monthly changes of pH were low between April and August and higher starting October, and the EC was measured higher in the winter and the spring and tended to be low starting April. The EC on the 19th of May and the 23rd of October and the concentration of floating materials and COD_(Mn) were observed to be higher due to the influence of rainfall on the 19th of May and the 22nd of October, and it was judged that the washing out of dried deposits attached to the water pipe and the leaching of woods were influenced by rainfall. It is considered that real-time monitoring of water quality for a long time and water quality conditions during and after rainfall should be examined for ensuring basic data of water quality and evaluating characteristics and seasonableness of mountain streams, which may be greatly changed by artificial influence in the future.
