        The purpose of this study was to investigate child rearing and family life according to socio-demographics and child developmental stage among urban women in Chungbuk. Subjects of this study were 1,237 mothers from preschool children to adulthood children in Cheongju and Chungju city. The method of this study was questionnaire which was composed of socio-demographics, child rearing, and family·leisure lives. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, x^2, t-test, ANOVA, LSD post-hoc test using SPSSWIN Program. The results of this study were (1) For child rearing, mothers who have middle and high school and adulthood children showed a higher level of autonomic child rearing attitudes, mothers who have high income showed a higher level of consistent child rearing attitudes, mothers who live in chungju showed a higher level of autonomic and carelessness child rearing attitudes. (2) For family lives, mothers who have elementary school children sowed a higher level of family cohesion, new family culture, family responsibility, mothers who have high income showed a higher level of social life. For leisure lives, mothers who have middle and high school and adulthood children showed a higher level of active home-oriented leisure, mothers who have adulthood children showed a higher level of active individual-oriented leisure, mothers who live in chungju showed a higher level of active individual-oriented leisure and inactive leisure.

        This study is to analyze the compitition structure and the brand image of the formalwear and the preferance of the brand group among the age of 20's females. The 207 samples of 20's females who live in Cheong-Ju city. The results of this study are followed as: The market competition structre appeared in positioning map have been constituted into four groups of the "Tomboy y'sb","lollol·selly·besti-belly","VOV·o.z.o.c·Joinus",EnC·i.n.v.u". The brand-trasfer of each group may easily be taken place as each compition among these groups was much feeble. By investigating the image of the formalwear brands appeared in positioning map, it may be presented that horizontality dimrnsion is "cute-ellegance image", and verticality dimension is "mannish-feminine image". Group Ⅳ such as EnC·i.n.v.u is brand which are prefered and purechaseed by the age of 20's females, whereas the preferance and puechase of brand such as VOV·o.z.o.c·Joinus.

      • 유치원 교실의 빛환경 향상을 위한 조도측정 사례연구

        This study is an attempt to establish the improvement process of indoor visual environment. The purpose of this study are to evaluate the illumination condition of a kindergarten and to propose the plan for improvement of indoor visual environment. The field measurement on the illumination and the interview with teachers were carried out at a kindergarten in Seoul. This survey was taken on 1st of May, 1999. The illumination level of the eastern classroom in the first floor (242~288 lux) was lower than standard (500 lux) but the illumination uniformity (1/2~1/3) was better condition than standard (1/7~1/5). The illumination level of the western classroom in the first floor (435~992 lux) was higher than standard, but the illumination uniformity (1/15~1/8) was worse condition than standard. The illumination level of the western classroom in second floor (850~1575 lux) was higher than standard, but the illumination uniformity (1/17~1/10) was worse condition than standard. It was found that the eastern classroom in the first floor and the underground gymnasium were low condition in illumination level, but the western spaces were bad condition in illumination uniformity.

      • 대학생의 신용카드 사용에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to find the problems from credit card use of university students. The questionnaire survey was conducted during 2001. 7. 4~6, and 200 university students who had credit card and who had not credit card were selected. The main results were as follows: 1) There was a few differences of knowledge of credit card agreement between university students who had credit card and had not credit card. This result imply that credit card seller should notice important agreement items to consumers. 2) There was a rather negative recognition toward credit card has the function of people's identity. This result imply it is too easy to get a credit card in this society. 3) Most university students had credit cards by credit card salesmen on the street or bank, not they really want have credit card. And they use seldom credit card. 4) Twenty percent of respondents had experience of arrear because of lack of money. This result imply that university student consumers should get consumer education, especially how to use credit card.

      • 통일교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식

        The purpose of this study is to provide reference data needed for designing the right directions for reunification education. The study focuses on the extent that the preschool teachers are aware of the reunification. North Korea status and the education, and also on any differences in perception according to background factors, i.e. age, career experiences, educational degrees, etc. The subject of this study was 326 teachers at both public and private kindergarten & day care center in Pusan and Kimhae. The analysis tool was SPSSWIN whereby frequency and percentage could be produced, and in addition x^2method was used for examining the teachers' differences in perception. The results of this study were (1) In terms of the awareness of the reunification, the preschool teachers responded in a highly positive manner, and meaningful difference appeared according to age, education, and career experience. They got reunification information mostly through mass media and press, and they agreed that the government should take the reunification cost. Many teachers did not know much about the government's reunification policy. During post-reunification era, Capitalism was preferred rather than the mixed system. The teachers were still concerned about ideology-associated problems even in the reunified Korea, and in this part they answered differently. (2) With regard to the perception about North Korea, the teachers thought the South and North Korea had many things in common, and human rights should be respected. In this context, they agreed that the government must help Nort Korea in many ways. For perception on civilian-level relationship, they thought that the Kumkang mountain development could contribute to the reunification, and in this part they answered differently. (3) With regard to the perception about reunification education, most teachers responded in a highly positive manner that the education is necessary. About the question whether they delivered the reunification education to children, most of teachers said yes, and in this part they answered differently according to the background factors.

      • 여자중학생의 하복 착용 및 관리 실태

        This study was conducted to provide guidelines that will improve the school uniforms for middle school girl's. It examined the following in-depth: the use of the summer school uniforms, actual conditions of use and management. Four schools whose uniform designs are different were selected, and among them, 505 girl's in senior year took part in the study. Questionnaires were used to collect the data. The results are as follows: 1) Examining the external appearance, the following are noticed: In general, blouses are white, single-breasted, and the length is abdominal(circumference) line. Skirts are dark blue or checked and A-lined with one or two pleats in front. Regarding the materials, the combination of polyester and rayon are used. It has been pointed out that there is much room for improvement in comfort and design. 2) The average satisfaction level was founded in the following when wearing blouses: the dynamism, the maintenance of external appearance/ease care. On the contrary, the high satisfaction level was founded in the following: maintainability of shape, sanitation/comfort, design/external appearance. In particular, the study revealed the low level of satisfaction in design/external appearance and sanitation/comfort of both blouses and skirts.

      • 청주지역 우수 아파트단지의 공용공간 이용도 및 만족도

        The purpose of this study is to give fundamental data for the planning on common facilities of apartments. Common facilities are consisted of green area, service facilities, children's activity space, social sports facilities, welfare facilities and leisure facilities. The apartment complexes in Cheongju city with well-designed common spaces were selected for this study, and we examined their composition of common facilities and the residents' satisfaction. 90 residents of 3 apartment complexes, which were built in last 3 years and have more than 500 households, answered the questionnaire. The result were as follows. 1) The diversity of common spaces is not sufficient, and the planning of common spaces is focused only on green spaces. 2) The pond, artificial fall, and artificial spring got high score in the use and satisfaction level, showing good planning of outer spaces. As a conclusion, inner common space planning as well as outer common space planning is very important for high quality residential environment, and operation system of these space has to be considerately designed.

      • TV 요리프로그램 진행자의 전문성 여부에 따른 구성내용의 질에 대한 시청자의 평가

        The purpose of this study was to develop the instrument to assess the TV cooking program contents and to indentify the difference of cooking program contents according to professionalism of MC. The evaluation sheet was composed of 5 sectors(sanitary practices, cooking process, information & proceeding, table setting & tasting, applicability) with all 32 questions, 5-Likert scale was used. College students majoring in food & nutrition were very interested in cooking program and 72.4% of respondents knew the cable TV Food channel. The major source of cooking information was TV(51.5%). The comparison of four TV cooking programs with professional MC(2 program) and amateur MC(2 program) was performed. Except applicability sector, the mean evaluation scores of professional cooking program were higher than amateur cooking program. In the amateur MC program, 'hand washing', 'use of hair restraints', 'separate use of cutting board', 'dish towel cleanliness', 'separation of service table', 'taking a chair in tasting', 'use of individual dish' items rated low rating score(<2.00) so more control was needed. The findings of this research suggest that cooking professional should be participate in developing TV cooking program as MC or staff.

      • 대학급식의 미생물적 품질보증을 위한 HACCP의 적용 : 참치샐러드 Tuna Salad

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the microbiological quality, and to assure the safety of the food production process in the university foodservice facilities in accordance with the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point(HACCP) concepts. The kitchen layout and time-temperature relationship, miciobiological quality(total plate count, coliform) were assessed to identify the critical point during each of the production phases. The results were as follows: 1) The kitchen layout had to be improved because contamination area was not separated from non-contamination area, and work table was in contact with washing sink. 2) Some employee did not follow personal hygiene standards(hand washing), and did not wear proper working uniforms(hair restraints). 3) The production time of tuna salad was 120 min, and environment temperature was 20.1~26.0℃. Improper receiving temperature, inproper holding practices(without cover at room temperature) were observed. 4) In the purchasing phase of the raw materials, the microbiological quality of green pepper was not at acceptable level based on the TPC(2.3×10^6CFU/g)and coliform(>14,000 MPN/g). During washing phase TPC was decreased about 3 log cycle. After cutting and holding phase the level of TPC and coliform were increased rapidly. At serving phase the microbiological quality of tuna salad were not at acceptable level(TPC 3.3×10^6 CFU/g, coliform 11,000 MPN/g) according to the standard set(TPC <10^5 CFU/g, coliform <100 MPN/g) by Sorberg et al. 5) For tuna salad, critical control points were purchasing and receiving of fresh vegetables, washing, cutting, holding, mixing and serving phase.

      • 청주지역 여대생의 속옷 구매습관 및 만족도

        The purposes of this study were to investigate the purchasing habits and the satisfaction of underwear items among university female students in Cheongju. The questionnaire was to measure the demographic information, purchase practices of underwear items, and satisfaction of underwear. Frequencies, mean, t-test, ANOVA were used for statistical analysis. The results were as follows: 1) Regardless of underwear items, the size was the most important factor in purchasing and the other important factors differed a little according to each items. 2) The order of main purchasing places of underwear were underwear specialty store, discount store, and department store. 3) Female students purchased underwear mostly with their mothers, and next with their friends. 4) Among the quality specifications, the size of underwear was examined firstly, and the fiber content was examined next, but the level of looking at the care symbols and manufacturer was low. 5) The satisfaction of underwear differed according to underwear items, and satisfaction level of foundation was relatively lower than that of underwear.
