난지도 매립지 침출수의 장기적 안정화 특성 -유기물질 중심으로

[연구배경] 급속한 도시화에 따른 도시의 외형적 팽창으로 과거에 매립이 완료된 매립지를 공원이나 주차장 및 놀이터등의 도시적 이용시설로 사용하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 난지매립지의 경우 단순 비위생매립지로서 사용종료된 지 약 17년이 지나 공원으로 이용되고 있어 매립지의 안정화에 대한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. [연구목적] 본 연구에서는 노을공원과 하늘공원으로 이용되고 있는 난지도 1,2매립지를 대상으로 2003년도부터 2010년까지 집수정과 외측공 침출수의 시료를 채취 및 분석하여 매립지 안정화 지표중의 하나인 BOD와 COD를 중심으로 매립지 안정화 정도를 평가하고자 하였다. [연구방법] 2003년부터 2010년까지 매 분기별로 차수벽의 내측 집수정 30지점과 외측 집수정(외측공) 31지점에서 시료를 채취하였고. 분석항목으로는 BOD5와 CODCr 2가지 항목으로 하여 BOD5, CODCr, 및 BOD5/CODCr를 연도별 지점별로 파악하고자 하였다. [연구결과] 연구결과 1,2매립지의 전체 평균 BOD5, CODCr 및 BOD5/CODCr는 각각 21.8mg/L 138.2mg/L 및 0.12로 나타났고 1매립지의 경우 각각 BOD5, CODCr 및 BOD5/CODCr는 26.5mg/L, 256.5mg/L, 0.10 2매립지의 경우 각각 16.9mg/L, 92.5mg/L, 0.18으로 나타났다. BOD5의 경우 년도별 전반적인 감소추세를 보이고 있으며 2매립지 보다 1매립지에서 더 높은 값을 나타내고 있으며 CODCr 또한 년도별 전반적인 감소추세를 보이고 있으나 2매립지 보다 1매립지에서 더 높은 값을 나타내고 있다. 매립지 안정화지표의 하나인 BOD5/CODCr값의 경우 전체 평균 0.14로 나타났고 1매립지의 경우 0.10으로 2매립지 0.18보다 낮게 나타났는데 이는 1매립지의 CODCr 값이 상대적으로 더 높은 값에 기인하고 있으며 1매립지가 2매립지보다 더 안정화 단계에 진입한 것으로 판단된다.

루소 도덕 교육론에서의 자연의 개념

The core idea of Rousseau's Emil is 'education according to nature'. This phrase is often interpreted as the idea of letting children follow what they want to do, and this is considered as the more important than teaching moral rules or principles. Rousseau's description of the early and the later education in Emil is sometimes misinterpreted. He seems to say that education about physical things comes under the early part and moral education under the later part of education. But, actually he thinks moral education is needed even in the early education. : Children have to learn the moral norms of their society through the law of nature. There is another problem about the relation between the early and the later education in Rousseau, i.e., the relation between children following the law of nature (acquiring moral norms) and their following the conscience (expressing moral norms). In spite of Rousseau's suggestion that these two stages are divided temporally acquisition and expression of the norms are not two separate activities following temporal order but two sides of the same activity which are logically connected. They occur in both halves and influence each other logically. There is a circularity in the process of acquiring moral norms and expressing conscience. Conscience does not start in the adolescent ages, but is formed from the interaction between expressing conscience and acquiring the laws of nature. 루소 「에밀」의 핵심 원리는 ‘자연을 따르는 교육’이다. 도덕교육의 측면에서 이 원리는 교육의 전기와 후기에서 각각 다르게 해석된다. 전기에는 자연의 ‘필연법칙’을 겪듯이 도덕관념을 획득하는 것이고 후기에는 ‘양심’을 따르는 것이다. 이것은 도덕관념의 획득과 표현의 관계이다. 루소는 이 두 관계를 시간상의 선후관계로 분리하고 있다. 그러나 양자는 강조점의 차이를 나타내는 것일 뿐 사실적으로 분리된 관계가 아니고 논리적, 개념적으로만 구분된다. 양심은 비단 청년기에만 획득되고 표현되는 것이 아니다. 도덕의 관념(도덕의 필연법칙)이 아동의 밖에서 안으로 들어오는 과정과 아동이 자신의 본성(양심)을 표현하는 것은 상호 순환적 관계에 있다.

Gastrointestinal bleeding is a common cause of hospitalization. Jejunal diverticula is a rare disease and it is an unusual cause of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding. After exclusion of the more common bleeding sources, small bowel diverticula should be considered as a possible rare cause of gastrointestinal bleeding. Jejunal diverticular bleeding is difficult to diagnose and treat because the bleeding site cannot be identified by routine endoscopy and radiologic studies. An exploratory operation is sometimes needed to diagnose and treat obscure gastrointestinal bleeding. If the bleeding site is certain, then surgical resection of the bleeding part of the bowel is the procedure of choice. We report here on a case of jejunal diverticular bleeding that was diagnosed by and treated with surgical resection.

교육의 내재적 목적의 종교적 의의

교육의 내재적 목적은 피터즈나 허스트의 교육이론으로 대표된다. 허스트는 희랍의 자유교육의 이념에서의 지식과 마음의 관련으로 교육의 내재적 목적을 주장하였으며 피터즈는 선험적 논의방식에 의하여 교육에서의 지식 추구를 정당화하였다. 그러나 J. 와이트는 그들이 주장하는 지식의 내재적 목적은 현대의 민주주의 사회에서 타당한 목적이 아니라고 비판하며 ‘개인의 웰빙’을 교육의 목적으로 내세운다. 와이트의 비판은 지식 교육에서 부차적으로 발생하는 문제에 대한 경고로서의 의미가 있거나 지식을 학년 또는 학교 급별로 어느 정도의 수준까지 가르쳐야 하는가에 관한 문제 제기로서의 의미를 가질 수 있으나, 지식 교과의 성격을 원래의 의미와는 다르게 규정할 위험이 있으며, 더 나아가 교육과 삶의 방향을 내재적 목적에서와는 다른 방향으로 이끄는 것이 된다. 그러나 허스트의 교육의 내재적 목적이 교육의 내재적 목적의 유일하게 타당한 관점인 것은 아니며 내재적 목적에 대한 새로운 해석이 가능하다. 허스트는 희랍 자유교육의 이념에서 ‘실재’를 배제하고 ‘지식’과 ‘마음’만으로 ‘지식의 형식’을 주장하였지만, ‘형식’이라는 의미를 논리적으로 분석해 보면 거기에는 ‘실재’가 가정되어 있다는 것을 추론할 수 있다. 지식의 형식에서 실재를 드러내는 것은 교육의 내재적 목적을 새롭게 해석하는 한 가지 관점이 될 수 있다. 실재를 토대로 하는 교육의 내재적 목적은 교육에 종교적 의의가 있다는 것을 밝히는 것이 된다. There are two kinds of educational aims, the intrinsic and the extrinsic aims of education. P. H. Hirst and R. S. Peters are representative philosophers of education insisting on the intrinsic aim of education. Hirst explained his idea of the intrinsic aim of education on the basis of the Greeks' liberal education which related knowledge to mind. So he emphasized forms of knowledge in education. But he did not agree with the idea of reality in the Greeks' liberal education. Peters justified knowledge by transcendental argument. But according to J. White, the intrinsic aim of knowledge and education can not be all important in modern democratic society. He proposes 'Well-being' as educational aim. His educational theory can contribute to planning the curriculum and can turn us to the problems in school situations. But at the same time his theory has some problems in reforming and changing the knowledge in school subjects. It must be admitted, however, that Hirst's intrinsic aim of education is not the only kind of intrinsic aim of education and not the only valuable one. We can stretch the meaning of intrinsic aim of education. Hirst excluded the reality in his theory of forms of knowledge. But when we analyze further the forms of knowledge, we will find that the reality is presupposed in it. And the fact that the reality plays a role in the forms of knowledge means that there is religious aspect in the intrinsic aim of education.

North Korea intended to increase the power of its nuclear weapons and standardize warhead to be loaded in ballistic missiles through the $4^{th}$ and $5^{th}$ nuclear tests. In this study, three kinds of nuclear weapons that North Korea might have used in the $4^{th}$ and $5^{th}$ nuclear tests to achieve their technical goals were suggested. Monte Carlo modeling and various technical assessments have shown that boosted fission weapons are most likely to be used. Also, using the empirical formula considering the burial depth of explosion, we found that the yield of the $4^{th}$ and $5^{th}$ nuclear tests is at least twice as strong as that is expected it could be and the initial design power could reach 8kt before amplification. This means that North Korea has already achieved a substantial level of nuclear fusion technology through the $4^{th}$ test and has made a breakthrough in the miniaturization of nuclear weapons through the $5^{th}$ test. After two or three additional tests, North Korea is expected to have nuclear missiles equipped with nuclear warhead by 2020, which is expected to complete ballistic missile development.
