90년대 말 한국영화의 환상성 경향 연구 - 김기덕의 <나쁜 남자>를 중심으로

90년대에 만들어진 환상적 한국영화 계열의 장르는 다양하다. 이들 작품의 환상성은 굳이 '귀신' 소재 영화들만 한정되어 발현되지 않는다. 예를 들어, 작가 이상(Lee sang)의 미스테리를 바탕으로 완성된 영화 <건축무한 육면각체의 비밀>이 구조주의적 환상의 이야기를 지녔다고 한다면, <텔미썸딩> 같은 작품은 심리주의적으로 관습적인 환상을 지니고 있다고 이야기할 수 있다. 본고는 당대 한국영화의 환상성을 '사실주의에 기반한 알레고리의 완성'을 통해 들여다본다. 그를 위해서 에티엔 수리오(Etienne Souriau)의 환상성 개념을 빌린다. 일부 영화에서 환상성은 현상하는 자연에서 직접 발견될 수 있으며, 이때 자연을 객관화시키는 주체로 자신들의 위치를 격상시키고, 자연에 대한 지배를 정당화한 인간 존재는 그 대가로 '소외'를 맞이하게 된다. 영화의 내러티브에서 이러한 소외의 개념은 알레고리를 통해 자주 드러나는데, 특히 에티엔 수리오가 이른 '개인의 경험'에 따른 환상성의 발현에서 이 점은 더욱 극명해진다. 그런 면에서 김기덕의 영화는 개인의 경험을 통해 사회의 요소들을 알레고리화 하는 대표적 예라 할 수 있다. 김기덕의 <나쁜 남자>를 중심으로, 본고는 90년대 한국의 환상적인 영화들이 사회의 모방을 통해 심미적인 환상성을 구축하는 과정을 분석한다. The genres of fantastic of Korean films created in the 90s are diverse. The fantastics of these works are not manifested only in 'Ghosts' movies. For example, If the film Mystery Of The Cube, which is based on the mystery of Lee Sang, has a story of structuralist fantasy, we can say that a movie like Tell Me Something has a psychologically conventional fantastic. This study examines the fantastic of contemporary Korean films through 'completion of allegory based on realism'. For this, we borrows the fantastic concept of Etienne Souriau. In some films, fantastics can be found directly in the developing nature. In this case, the human being who justifies their domination of nature by upgrading their position as the objectifying subject of nature becomes 'alienated' in return. The notion of this alienation in film narratives is often revealed through allegories, particularly in the manifestation of fantasy by Étienne Souriau in the early 'personal experience'. Kim kiduk's film is a representative example of allegorizing elements of society through individual experience. Focusing on Kim Giduk's Bad Guy, this essay analyzes the process in which fantastic films of Korea in the 90s build up aesthetic fantastic through imitation of society.

수종 Flavonoid의 항허피스바이러스효과

To search for less toxic antiherpetic agents, the inhibitory effects of twelve kinds of flavonoids including chrysin, quercetin, quercitrin, rutin, fisetin, gossypin, kaempferol, morin, naringenin, naringin, hesperetin and hesperidin on the plaque formation of herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2) in Vero cells were examined by plaque reduction assay in vitro. Some flavonoids tested in this study showed potent antiherpetic activity, reducing intracellular replication of herpes simplex viruses when Vero cell monolayers were infected and subsequently cultured in medium containing flavonoids. Naringenin showed the most potent antiviral activity against HSV-1 with selectivity index (SI) of 19.1 and hesperetin showed the most potent antiviral activity against HSV-2 with SI of 9.8. These results suggest that some flavonoids may be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment and prevention of herpes simplex virus infections.

본 고에서는 SaaS를 서비스로 제공하기 위한 기술인 SaaS(Software as a Service) 플랫폼 기술과 개발 동향을 소개한다. 이를 위해 국내외 SaaS 개발 시장의 동향을 살펴보고 국가 플랫폼 개발의 일환으로 2009년부터 ETRI에서 연구개발 중인 SaaS 플랫폼의 개발 및 기술 현황에 대해 살펴본다.

불면증 환자의 Doxepin 치료 중단율

연구목적 일 대학 병원 정신건강의학과의 불면증 외래 환자에서 doxepin 처방 패턴에 따른 doxepin 치료 중단율 및 중단 이유에 차이가 있는지 확인하고자 하였다. 방 법 불면증 치료를 위해 doxepin을 처방한 외래 환자 534명의 환자를 선별한 후, 전자의무기록을 후향적으로 검토하여 201명의 환자를 대상으로 doxepin 처방 2개월 후 치료 중단율을 조사하였고, doxepin 처방 패턴에 따라 처음으로 수면 목적의 약제로 doxepin을 처방 받은 환자들을 initial군, 기존에 복용하던 수면 목적의 약제를 유지하면서 doxepin을 추가 처방한 경우를 add-on군, 기존에 수면 목적의 약제를 복용하였고 기존 약제를 중단하고 doxepin으로 약물을 변경한 경우를 switching군으로 나누어 doxepin 중단률 및 중단 이유를 조사하고 세 그룹간에 비교하였다. 결 과 2개월 후 doxepin 치료 중단율은 56.2%였고, 세 군 간의 치료 중단율에 유의한 차이가 있었다. Initial군이 세 군 중에 가장 높은 치료 중단율을 보였고, add-on 군이 가장 낮은 치료 중단율을 보였다(p=0.018). 각 군별 doxepin 치료 중단의 이유에서는 효과부족(p<0.001), 이상반응(p<0.001)이 add-on군에서 유의하게 높게 확인되었고, 환자거부(p=0.022), 원인미상 및 추적실패(p<0.001)가 initial군에서 유의하게 높은 결과를 보였다. 결 론 본 연구 결과 실제 임상 진료 상황에서는 add-on 방법이 약물의 switching 방법보다 doxepin 치료 유지에 적합하며, 부작용을 예방하기 위해 기존에 복용하던 수면제 및 수면에 도움을 주는 약제를 단계적으로 줄여야 함을 확인하였다. 추후 대규모 전향적 연구를 통하여 doxepin 치료 중단과 관련된 다양한 변인 및 위험요인들이 체계적으로 평가될 필요가 있다. Objectives : We aimed to investigate the discontinuation rate and reasons of doxepin base prescription pattern in insomnia outpatients of psychiatry department of a university hospital. Methods : 534 patients prescribed doxepin were screened. 201 patients were included and reviewed for their medical records retrospectively. The discontinuation rate and reasons of doxepin after 2 months of prescription were investigated. Patients were divided into three groups according to the prescription patterns. The initial group, prescribed doxepin as the first hypnotic, the add-on group, prescribed doxepin while maintaining existing hypnotics, and the switching group, prescribed doxepin after discontinuation of existing hypnotics. Results : The discontinuation rate after 2 months of prescription of doxepin was 56.2%. There were significant differences in the discontinuation rate among three groups. The initial group had the highest while the add-on group had the lowest (p=0.018). In reasons for discontinuation of doxepin among three groups, lack of efficacy (p<0.001) and adverse events (p<0.001) were significantly higher in the add-on group. In the initial group, patient's refusal (p=0.022) and unknown or loss to follow up (p<0.001) were significantly higher. Conclusions : The results of this study suggested that add-on is superior than switching method and gradual reduction of existing hypnotics is necessary to maintain doxepin treatment and prevent adverse events. Additional large scale prospective studies are needed to evaluate various factors and risks of discontinuation of doxepin.

Crocidolite quality control (QC) sampling created by the wet generation method has been validated by validation tests such as the accuracy, precision, and storage tests. For this study we designed and developed a manufacturing apparatus and standard operating procedure for making these QC samples. The most important step in the procedure of making QC samples was the stage eliminating static electricity in asbestos fibers. This static electricity hampers the fibers clog functioning. In accuracy and precision tests by phase contrast microscopy analysis, the difference between the reference values and the studied values was at maximum 17.8%. This satisfies the AIHA proficiency analytical test criteria for asbestos. We could confirm the nearly even distribution of crocidolite fibers on the membrane filter. Also, there was no loss of fibers in the storage test after the one month.

This study aims to investigate the effect of an educational gamification-based quiz on the recall of formulaic sequences (FS). The experiment involved 87 freshmen enrolled in general English classes at a university in Seoul. As material, EFL textbooks based on content from popular franchises, such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Twilight, and Harry Potter, were used. The experiment was carried out as follows: first, vocabulary learning, second, reading comprehension, and third, writing. The fourth activity proceeded differently in two groups. The experimental group used gamification-based quiz to practice FS, whereas the comparison group summarized the reading. FS was evaluated using meaning recall and form recall. Consequently, no difference was found between the groups on meaning recall tests of FS, but the experimental group had a significantly higher average score than the comparison group on the post-test on the form recall of FS.

Reliability and Applicability of the Bayley Scale of Infant Development-II for Children With Cerebral Palsy

Objective To obtain reliability and applicability of the Korean version Bayley Scale of Infant Development-II (BSID-II) in evaluating the developmental status of children with cerebral palsy (CP).Methods The inter-rater reliability of BSID-II scores from 68 children with CP (46 boys and 22 girls; mean age, 32.54±16.76 months; age range, 4 to 78 months) was evaluated by 10 pediatric occupational therapists. Patients were classified in several ways according to age group, typology, and the severity of motor impairment by the level of the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS). The measures were performed by video analysis, and the results of intraclass correlation (ICC) were obtained for each of the above classifications. To evaluate the clinical applicability of BSID-II for CP, its correlation with the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM), which has been known as the standard motor assessment for CP, was investigated.Results ICC was 0.99 for the Mental scale and 0.98 for the Motor scale in all subjects. The values of ICC ranged from 0.92 to 0.99 for each age group, 0.93 to 0.99 for each typology, and 0.99 to 1.00 for each GMFCS level. A strong positive correlation was found between the BSID-II Motor raw score and the GMFM total score (r=0.84, p<0.001), and a moderate correlation was observed between the BSID-II Mental raw score and the GMFM total score (r=0.65, p<0.001).Conclusion The Korean version of BSID-II is a reliable tool to measure the functional status of children with CP. The raw scores of BSID-II showed a great correlation with GMFM, indicating validity of this measure for children with CP on clinical basis.
