소아 만성 신부전 환자에서 발생한 위혈관 이형성증의 Hemoclipping에 의한 지혈 치료 1례

Angiodysplasia is the most common vascular abnormality of the gastrointestinal tract and probably the most frequent cause of recurrent lower intestinal bleeding in otherwise healthy elderly patients. Also, it is an important cause of hemorrhage in chronic renal failure observed in up to 19~32% of patients. Bleeding due to gastric angiodysplasia is treated by various endoscopic approaches, including argon and Nd : YAG laser photocoagulation, monopolar or bipolar electrocoagulation, heater probe, injection sclerotherapy, band ligation or hemoclipping. A 15-year-old boy, who had undergone hemodialysis for chronic renal failure for about 10 years, was admitted due to melena and progressive anemia. A gastroduodenoscopy revealed a cherry red and fern-like lesion with oozing on the posterior wall at junction of gastric body and fundus. Endoscopic hemoclipping therapy was performed. However, melena recurred four days later. Argon plasma coagulation and hemoclipping therapy were performed again. Since then, no recurrence of bleeding has been observed.

Glutary 7-Aminodeacetoxycephalosporanis Acid Acylase 생산균의 분리 및 동정

Glutaryl 7-aminodeacetoxycephalosporanic acid(GL-7-ADCA)로부터 7-aminodeacetoxycephalosporanic acid(7-ADCA)를 생성하는 GL-7-ADCA acylase생산균을 자연계에서 폭넓게 검색하여 한균주를 선정하고 분리균의 형태 및 생리적 성질들을 조사하여 Alcaligenes sp.로 동정하였다. 분리균의 효소생산을 위한 배양조건을 검토한 결과 탄소원으로는 glucose, 질소원으로는 yeast extract, monosodium L-glutamate가 우수하였다. 효소의 작용최적 pH는 8.0이며, pH7.0~pH11.0 번위에서 비교적 안정하였다. 5l jar fermentor에서 배양경과를 조사한 결과 효소이 활성은 $37^{\circ}C$, 교반속도 300rpm, 통기량 1vvm 조건에서 20시간~30시간 배양시 가장 높았다. Microorganism producing glutaryl 7-aminodeacetoxycephalosporanic acid (GL-7-ADCA) acylase was screened from soil. The microorganism was identified as Alcaligenes sp. J-421 by its morphology and biochemical properties. Cultural conditions of Alcaligenes sp. J-421 were investigated for the production of GL-7-ADCA acylase. Optimum medium composition was 1% glucose, 1% beef extract, 0.5% yeast extract, 0.2% monosodium L-glutamate, 0.1% glutaric acid, 0.2% NaCl, 0.5% $K_2$ $HPO_4$, and 0.05% $CuSO _4{\cdot}5H_2O$. Optimum cultivation conditions for the production of the enzyme in 5 l jar fermentor were $37^{\circ}C$, tip speed 300 rpm, aeration 1 vvm. Optimum reaction pH of the enzyme was 8.0 and the enzyme was stable at pH7.0-11.0.

영국에서의 한국이미지와 스토리텔링/서사의 변화

This paper tries to understand the topography of Korean state image in Britain and to get at the deep narrative/storytelling and the core image of Korea. For this purpose, this study analyses the articles on Korea in British newspaper <The Times> on the basis of cultural semiology. The semiological analysis shows that Korean state image is composed of several sub images; 'the magnetic field of danger and confusion' as a political image, 'young man coming to maturity' as an economical image, 'underdeveloped country of disorder' as a social image, 'emotional nationalism' as a foreign relational image, and 'the rising of the youthfulness' as a cultural image. In political, economical and foreign relational areas, Korean images are mixed of preexistent negative images and newly forming positive images. The Korean social image as underdeveloped country of disorder implies the lack of cultural image. The cultural image of Korea is now burgeoning. On the basis of the topography of Korean image, this study discusses the changes of the deep narratives and the core images of Korea: from the 'suffering and destruction,' through the 'growth and confusion,' to the 'recovery and maturity' regarding the deep narratives and from the 'lethargy' through the 'aspiration' to the 'flexible self-confidence' regarding the core image. The recent rising images and the possibility of new narrative of Korea are still in danger of returning old negative one by the convention of news making and framing.

다문화사회 한국어교육에서의 상담통역 한국어를 위한 기초적 논의 - 이주민 상담통역 현황 관련 매체 기사를 중심으로

이 연구에서는 다문화사회 한국어교육의 새로운 쟁점으로서 ‘상담통역 한국어’의 필요성과 가치를 제기하고, 이주민 상담통역 현황 분석을 바탕으로 ‘상담통역 한국어’를 위한 기초적인 자료를 구축하였다. 본고에서는 상담통역이 이민자의 대표적인 사회 참여 활동이자 그들이 선호하는 업무의 하나로서 다양한 분야(치안, 의료, 교육, 금융 등)에서 현실적인 수요가 높다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 자원봉사에서부터 직업적인 전문 분야에서까지 이주민 상담통역 인력풀이 폭넓은 범위로 활용되고 있음을 알았다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지는 통역 사안의 중요도와 난이도, 통역 인력의 역할이나 처우 등에 따른 세분화 없이 상담통역 서비스 제공 자체만이 긍정적으로 부각되는 경향이 있음을 밝혔다. 이에 본고에서는 ‘상담통역 한국어’ 교수요목 설계 시 반영할 수 있는 상황 및 주요 내용, 상담통역자 역할을 고려한 상담통역 한국어 유형의 범주화, 상담통역 인력 양성 과정의 체계화, 내실화가 시급함을 제언하였다. 본 논의를 시작으로 특수 목적 한국어의 하나로서 ‘상담통역 한국어’에 대한 후속 연구가 본격화되기를 기대한다. This study brings ‘Korean for Counseling Interpreting(community interpreting) purposes’ to light as a new topic of discussion for Korean language education in a multicultural society, while emphasizing its value and necessity. Based on the current understanding of Counseling Interpreting Services (CIS) provided by migrants, it establishes fundamental materials for ‘Korean for Counseling interpreting purposes’. Counseling interpreting services provided by migrants is in high demand in various fields, such as in judicial, medical, educational, and financial settings. At the same time, it is a representative example of a social activity performed by migrants and also one of their preferred tasks. However, despite the wide spectrum of its application of services ranging from volunteering to professional work, the provision of CIS in itself is seen in a positive light even though the role and treatment of the migrants providing community interpreting services are currently not categorized or subdivided in accordance to the importance or difficulty of the subject matter. Therefore, this study presents an urgency for making Korean for Counseling interpreting purposes a field in its own right and to systematically augment the fostering and training of Counseling interpreters with consideration of their roles, providing the situations and core content which can be taken into account in designing the potential syllabi of Korean for Counseling Interpreting Purposes. This study will lay the groundwork for more profound follow-up studies on ‘Korean for Counseling interpreting purposes’ as Korean for specific purposes.

택사탕의 항산화와 혈중지질에 대한 효과

Objectives We evaluated the improving effects of Taeksa-tang (TST) using 3T3-L1 cells and C57BL/6 mice were fed on a high-fat diet. Methods The anti-radical activities of TST were studied using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl and 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid). The content of total polyphenol was measured using Folin-Ciocalteu reagent, whereas aluminum chloride colorimetric method was used for the content of total flavonoid. Moreover, the factors related to lipid profile and the protein expressions such as β-oxidation and anti-oxidant enzyme were analyzed using serum and western blotting of 3T3-L1 cells. Additionally, we examined lipolysis through glycerol appearance in mouse adipose tissue. Results TST treatment showed strong free radical scavenging activities with half maximal inhibitory concentration and the presence of a amount of total polyphenol and total flavonoid. TST treatment significantly increased factors related to β-oxidation such as carnitine palmitoyl transferase-1 and uncoupling protein 2 via the phosphorlyation of liver kinase B1 (LKB1) and AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). Moreover, the protein expressions of anti-oxidant enzyme and lipolysis were significantly elevated by TST administration. In addition, TST supplementation lowered serum ma-londialdehyde, triglyceride, and total cholesterol levels compared with the control group. Taken together, these data suggest that TST treatment regulated lipid parameters via the increase of β-oxidation by LKB1-AMPK signaling pathway. Conclusions TST may have a potential remedy in the prevention and treatment of obesity. Therefore, this study may provide the scientific basis for TST use. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2021;31(2):1-14)

This study has its objectives in investigating the significance of a composition of academic text’s title has in the education of the Korean language through the examination of obstacles present in real-life examples. A “title” is the most condensed form of sub-text, which conveys the central theme of the overall writing in a concise, accurate and logical manner. It requires the capability of a writer to compose one in adherence to the respective academic community’s conventions and regulations. But in actual examples of international students’ academic text, numerous problems become disclosed in the analysis composition aspect of the title, and this paper focuses its discussion largely on the ‘issues concerning sentence closure form, improper expression usage, inappropriate selection of the quantity of information as well as keywords used in the title, and inaccurate use of punctuation marks.’ This study is significant not only in the fact that it reaffirms both the importance and the unique functions that a title performs in an academic text, but also in the aspect that it makes an attempt at pinpointing the regulative principles to be observed in the writing of an academic text and in the education of title composition methods.

〈슈렉〉 3부작의 기호학적 분석

〈슈렉〉은 기존의 동화와는 다른 새로운 내용과 형식을 선보이며 기존 관습에 균열을 만들어서 고정화된 관념에 대한 인식의 변화, 사고의 전환을 유도한 작품이다. 본 연구는 세 편의 슈렉 이야기에 반복되는 의미구조를 그레마스의 행위자 모델과 기호학적 사각형을 통해 분석하고자 한다. 행위자 모델은, 잘 알려져 있듯이, 세 쌍의 대립항을 통해 이야기의 기본적인 서사도식을 분석하는 기호학적 도구다. 이에 비해 기호학적 사각형은 기본적인 이항대립을 중심으로 형성된 의미지형을 통해 이야기의 의미생성 경로를 시각화하는 모델이다. 기호학적 사각형이 심층층위에서의 의미경로를 탐색하는 모델이라면 행위자 모델은 심층적 의미가 서사적 차원에서 구조화된 것이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 공주와 괴물의 사랑과 결혼, 그리고 영원한 행복 찾기를 중심으로 한 행위자 분석과 기호학적 사각형을 통한 의미생성 과정을 분석함으로써 자연과 문화간의 대립에 기반한 슈렉의 이야기 구조를 시각화한다. 분석의 중심 대상은 1편은 슈렉과 피오나의 사랑, 2편은 슈렉과 피오나의 결혼 생활, 3편은 권력과 자유이다. The purpose of this study is to analyze 〈Shrek〉 trilogy by means of semiotics. 〈Shrek〉 trilogy constructs a story as a whole while each piece delivers a concluded ending. This study used 'modele actantiel' and 'carre semiotique' of Greimas in order to clarify not only the meaning structure but also the course of narrative of 〈Shrek〉. 〈Shrek〉 is a compelling story which reverses the fairy tale of a beautiful princess and a heroic prince. Each piece of the trilogy unfolds as following; (1)Is the love of a princess and an ogre possible? (2)Can the marriage of the couple get confirmed? (3)Can Shrek be free again? The repeated meaning structure of 〈Shrek〉 trilogy is the binary opposition of nature versus culture, and the narrative course forms the meaning square on the basis of the opposition. Human culture represented by the lord Farquaad and Duloc castle signifies cleanness, order, complex, anxiety, paranoia, authoritarian, and violent. On the contrary, Nature represented by Shrek and the swamp signifies barbarity, freedom, confident, maturity, unstrained, and humar. The meaning of Shrek series is generated by the structure of the basic discrimination of culture versus nature. However, as 〈Shrek〉 story twists the bias and fixed idea, the meaning structure of Shrek shows a unique relationship of culture and nature. Although Shrek, an ogre, lives alone in a swamp because of the bias of human world, he is depicted as self-sufficient, comfort, and broad-minded. On the basis of this meaning structure, Shrek is not a story that an ogre(nature) strives to enter the human culture, nor a story that nature wins a victory at the confrontation between culture and nature, but a story that human(culture) and ogre(nature) overcome their fixed ideas through the transition from culture to nature and vice versa.
