The Effect of a Companion’s Role-Play Quality on the Patient’s Perceived Healthcare Service Quality

The importance of a companion as a value cocreator has been conceptually proposed but is yet to be empirically examined. Studies on companions and their roles have focused mostly on particular aspects and are primarily descriptive in nature. A comprehensive account of the companionship role is yet to be accomplished. With healthcare services as the study context, this study first identifies the companionship role and carries out an empirical examination. Using field survey data from 201 respondents, a three-factor scale for companionship roles with two items for informational role, four items for emotional role, and four items for communicative role is first validated. And then, a structural equation modeling analysis tests proposed hypotheses. Results show that a patient’s perceived quality of his/her companion’s role-play during the service delivery process positively affects the customer’s perceived quality of the healthcare service rendered by the healthcare firm. The moderation effect of customer-companion relationship quality is also demonstrated.

교육·훈련 프로그램 만족도 평가 도구 개발 및 타당화 연구

본 연구는 Rasch 모형을 적용하여 교육·훈련 프로그램 만족도 평가 질문 문항의 적합도와 난이도 및 응답범주를 정확하게 측정하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서, Kirkpatrick의 반응평가를 기초로 하여 김주현(2008)과 이성흠(2005)의 선행연구 자료에서 평가범주와 설문문항들을 수정.보완하여 5점 척도를 사용, 55문항으로 구성된 만족도 검사를 재구성하였다. 이를 「○○교육」에 참여한 26명의 연구원을 대상으로 교과목 수에 따라 총 3회를 실시하였다. 만족도 검사 결과를 Rasch 모형을 적용하여 문항 난이도와 적합도 및 응답범주의 적절성을 평가하였다. 분석 결과, 각 하위영역별로 문항의 적합도와 난이도에 대한 결과를 바탕으로, 총 16개의 문항과 2개의 주관식 문항을 최종 선정하여 총 18 문항으로 구성된 단축형 검사를 제안하고 본 연구의 제한점을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to measure the fitness, difficulty and categories of the questions in the Education & Training Program satisfaction test by using the Rasch model. To acheive this goal, the researchers restructured the satisfaction test which is formed of 55 questions and five-point scale based on the Kirkpatrick's evaluation response and modified the evaluation category and questions of Kim, Joohyun's(2008) and Lee, Sungheum(2005)'s precedence research. The test was done there 3times according to the subject numbers of 26 researchers who participated on the OO education. the result of the satisfaction test was evaluated its appropriation of the questions difficulty, fitness and categories by the Rasch model. By analyzing the result of the subcategories question fitness and difficulty, 16 questions and 2 essay questions were selected and suggested the short version test which was formed of 18 questions and the limit of this research.

The purpose of this study is to validate the Moral Intelligence Checklist(MIC) by Borba (2001) for adolescents in Korea. The factors and items of this checklist were developed and categorized based on the conceptual model of Borba (2001) which consists of 70 items. MIC were performed with 304 high school students in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces. Data was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis and exploratory factor analysis. The main results of this study were as follows: Firstly, 12 items were deleted through the analysis of item goodness. Secondly, it was shown that MIC consists of 7 factors through exploratory factor analysis. These factors were empathy, self-control, conscience, respect, kindness, tolerance, and fairness. Thirdly, 42 items were involved with 7 factors in MIC for Korean adolescents with confirmatory factor analysis. The Cronbach's α of 7 factors were ranged from .733 to .832 and construct reliabilities of them were ranged from .730 to .840. Finally, the model fit of GFI(.905), NFI(.986), RMSEA(.018) was satisfied with confirmatory factor analysis using structural equation model. 본 연구는 Borba(2001)가 제시한 도덕지능 검사도구(Moral Intelligence Checklist: 이하 MIC)의 타당도를 국내 청소년을 대상으로 살펴보고자 서울 및 경기와 강원도에 거주하고 있는 고등학생 304명을 대상으로 MIC를 실시하였다. 문항의 양호도 검증을 통해 12문항을 삭제한 후 탐색적 요인 분석을 실시한 결과, 요인부하량이 .40이하인 5문항과 다른 요인에 교차부하된 11문항이 삭제되어 최종적으로 70 문항 중 42문항이 선정되었다. 도덕지능 검사도구의 구인타당도 검증을 위하여 구조 방정식모형을 이용한 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 7개 하위요인(공감, 자기통제, 양심, 존중심, 친절, 관용, 공정)이 확인되었으며, 하위요인별 신뢰도(Cronbach α= .733~.832)는 양호한 것으로 나타났다.최종 선정된 도덕지능 모형의 적합도 지수는 적절한 것으로 나타났다.도덕지능 7개 하위 요인의 단일차원성을 측정하기 위해 살펴본 구성개념 신뢰도는 .730~.840으로 만족스럽게 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 도덕지능 특성 고찰 및 청소년의 도덕지능 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
