본 연구를 통해 국내에 분포하는 중기문응애류 중 파리응애과의 Holostaspella crenulata Krantz, 1967 (톱니무늬파리응애, 신칭) 와 화살응애 과의 Lasioseius floridensis Berlese, 1916 (가슴선화살응애, 신칭) 를 처음으로 확인하고, 각 종에 대한 분류학적 진단과 분포정보, 성충의 현미경사 진과 도판을 제시하였다. In this study, two mesostigmatic mites, Holostaspella crenulata Krantz, 1967 (Machrochelidae) and Lasioseius floridensis Berlese, 1916 (Blattisociidae) are recognized in Korea for the first time. The diagnoses, distributional data, drawing plates, and microscopic photographs are provided for each species.
Radiation Drag in Brans-Dicke Theory of Gravity

The orbital motion of a test particle near a non-rotating star with a high and uniform luminosityis explored in the context of the Brans-Dicke gravity. Just as in the Einstein gravity, from theequation of motion for the test particle, we found that a “suspension surface” exists, where the testparticle comes to rest. Unlike in the Einstein gravity, the radial position of the suspension surfacedepends on the BD parameter ! as well as the luminosity of the star, but is independent of theinitial position and velocity of the particle. As the BD parameter ! gets larger, the position ofthe “suspension surface” in the BD gravity approaches that in the Einstein gravity as it should. However, when the value of the parameter ! is small, i.e., ! 1, the suspension’s position in theBD gravity deviates significantly from that in the Einstein gravity. Among others, however, themost remarkable lesson we learned in the present study is that the true and detailed nature of analternative theory of gravity is not available in the complete absence of a test particle with motion.

The IGRINS is a near infrared high resolution spectrograph jointly developed by the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute and the University of Texas at Austin. We present design and fabrication of the optomechanical mount for the five mirrors, i.e., an input fold mirror, a slit mirror, a dichroic, and two camera fold mirrors. Based on the structure analysis and the thermal analysis of finite element methods, the optomechanical mount scheme satisfies the mechanical and the thermal design requirements given by the optical tolerance analysis. The performance of the fabricated mirror mounts has been verified through three IGRINS commissioning runs.
Real-Time Application의 효과적인 QoS 라우팅을 위한 적응적 Route 선택 강화 방법

In this paper, we present a new method to calculate reinforcement value in QoS routing algorithm targeted for real-time applications based on Ant algorithm to efficiently and effectively reinforce ant-like mobile agents to find the best route toward destination in a network regarding necessary QoS metrics. Simulation results show that the proposed method realizes QoS routing more efficiently and more adaptively than those of the existing method thereby providing better solutions for the best route selection for real-time application that has high priority on delay jitter and bandwidth. 본 논문은 real-time 어플리케이션들을 위한 보다 효과적이고 효율적으로 ant-like mobile agent들이 QoS metrics를 고려하여 네트워크상에서 목적지까지 가장 최적화된 route을 찾는 Ant 알고리듬을 바탕으로 한 QoS 라우팅 알고리듬에서의 route 선택 강화 계산방법을 제시한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법이 기존의 방법보다 delay jitter와 bandwidth를 우선으로 하는 real-time application에 대한 가장 최적화된 route을 보다 효과적이고 보다 네트워크 환경에 적응적으로 찾아내는 것을 확인하였다.

. In this study, we presented a method to inspect the mechanical defects of 4680 type lithium-ion batteries through image processing method. The raw X-ray images are filtered with CLAHE, then Radon inverse transformations are calculated to reconstruct 3D computed tomography of the battery. Using Haar-cascade, the ROI is targeted automatically, and the template matchings are applied twice. The variations of contrast between template and background show the appropriate values for detecting tabs. It was shown that the proposed algorithm can detect all the tab inside the battery and the distances between tabs. Finally, we successfully found the geometrical defects of battery.
희토류 이온(Er/Yb)이 도핑된 LaPO<sub>4</sub> 나노입자의 합성과 발광특성

Due to the luminescence by$ Er ^{ 3+}$ activator, Er-doped $LaPO_4$ powders can be applied for optical amplification materials. In this study, $LaPO_4$:Er nanoparticles were synthesized in solution system using a high-boiling coordinating solvent and their properties were investigated through various spectroscopic techniques. The nanoparticles were to take a single phase of monazite structure by a X-ray diffraction analysis and to have the 5-6 nm of particles size with narrow size distribution by a TEM. And it was confirmed by the EA and FT-IR analyses that the surfaces of nanoparticles are coordinated with the solvent molecules, which will possibly keep from agglomerating between LaPO$_4$:Er nanoparticles. In the emission spectrum of $LaPO_4$:Er nanoparticle at NIR region, on the other hand, it was measured that the emission intensity is very weak, which is due to the transition from $^4$$I_{(13/2)}$ to $^4$$I_{(15/2)}$ of $Er^{3+ }$ion. It was interpreted that the weak luminescence of $LaPO_4$:Er is originated from the hydroxyl groups adsorbed on the surfaces of the nanoparticles, because OH group acts as an efficient quencher for the $^4$$I_{(13/2)}$ \longrightarrow $^4$$I_{(15/2)}$ emission of $Er^{3+}$ activator. But the co-doping of Yb$^{3+}$ as a sensitizer in this nanoparticle results in the increase of the emission intensity at 1539 nm due to the effective energy transfer from $Yb^{3+}$ to $Er^{3+}$ . In addition, the synthesized nanoparticles exhibited good dispersibility with some polymers and effective luminescence at NIR region.n.
