        자생차 수집종의 엽특성별 RAPD유연관계 분석

        This study was carried out to investigate genetic relationships among leaf characteristics in collected varieties of native tea, Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, by RAPD analysis. The results can be summarized as follows : Leaf size with outer leaf form was 7.7±3.6x3.5±2.7cm, and large leaf form was much than Yabukita. The size of amplified DNA bands pattern ranged from 300 to 3,000bp, with distinct patterns among different leaf and morphological traits. The mean band number among primer was 5 bands, and total band number among primers ranged from 25 to 178 bands. Genetic similarity between red long-ellipsoidal and the brown wide ellipsoidal small-leaf was represented 0.37 by RAPD-UPGA analysis. But the value of genetic similarity among the reddish brown long ellipsoidal leaf, the reddish brown long-ellipsoidal large leaf, the red wide-ellipsoidal and the red wide-ellipsoidal large-leaf was shown 0.68.

        자생차의 육묘 방법에 관한 연구

        본 시험은 1999년 3월부터 2000년 11월 까지 경남 농업기술원에서 자생차를 육묘․보급하기 위하여 육묘시 Pot 종류에 따른 발아율, 지상부 생육, 묘소질 상태, 신초엽색 출현 빈도 및 경제성을 비교․분석하여 차나무 육묘에 가장 적합한 크기를 구명하고자 시험한바 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 발아율, 성묘율, 경수, 엽수, 엽장 및 건물중은 Cup Pot Ø16㎝ 처리구에서 높았고, 초장과 엽면적은 Net Pot Ø15㎝ 처리구에서 다소 높게 나타났다. 2. 지상부 및 지하부 생육 모두 Cup Pot Ø16㎝ 처리구에서 가장 양호하였으며, Cup Pot의 크기가 적을수록 생육이 부진하였다. 3. T/R율은 Cup Pot Ø16㎝ 처리구 및 Net Pot Ø15㎝ 처리구에서 각각 100% 및 114%로 나타났으며, Cup Pot 크기가 적을수록 높아지는 경향이었다. 4. 경제성면에서는 일반 농가 대비 Net Pot Ø15㎝에서 30%, Cup Pot Ø16㎝에서 50%가 절감되었다. This experiment was conducted to know the optimum planting pot size for raising seedling in wild tea tree(Camellia sinensis L.) for two years at Gyeongnam ARES. Agronomic traits like germination ratio, matured seedlings, number of tiller, leaf number, leaf length and dry weight were more and higher by planting at Ø16㎝ cup pot. When planted at Ø15㎝ net pot, plant height and leaf area per unit area were higher than those of Ø16㎝ cup pot. The growth of root and top were good by planting at Ø16㎝ cup pot showing 114 percent T/R ratio at Ø15㎝ cup pot. The income was higher at Ø16㎝ cup pot planting as compared to conventionel for raising seedling of tea plant.

        지르코늄 합금의 대량수소화에 미치는 표면산화막의 영향

        Oxide effects experiments on massive hydriding reactions of Zr alloy with hydrogen gas were carried out at $400^{\circ}C$ under 1 atm in a $H_2$ environment with a thermo-gravimetric apparatus (TGA). Experimental results for oxide effects on massive hydriding kinetics show that incubation time is not proportional to oxide thickness. The results also show that the massive hydriding kinetics of pre-filmed Zr alloys follows linear kinetic law and that the hydriding rates are similar to that of oxide-free Zr alloys once massive hydriding is initiated. Unlikely microstructure of the oxide during incubation time, physical defects such as micro-cracks and pores were observed in the oxide after incubation time. Therefore, it seems that the massive hydriding of Zr alloys can be ascribed to short circuit paths and mechanical or physical defects, such as micro-cracks and pores in the oxide, rather than to hydrogen diffusion through the oxide resulting from the increase of oxygen vacancies in the hypo-stoichiometric oxide.

        Dual-cooling nuclear fuel is a newly-proposed fuel concept which can be cooled simultaneously at inner and outer coolant flow channel. As the nuclear fission reaction of UO2 pellets inside a fuel rod heats the pellet itself, the thermal expansion of the pellet will make difference in the annular gap between the pellet and two claddings located inside and outside of the pellet. Accordingly, the difference in gap conductance between two regions will result in a heat split problem. In this paper, thermal expansion analysis for the dual-cooling fuel pellet was carried out to understand inter-gap structural behavior according to the pellet deformation. The finite element method using 2 dimensional axisymmetric element and thermo-elastic theory based on the plane strain assumption were used. Both outer and inner diameters of the pellets expanded outward in radial direction. The applicability of the elastic solutions to the pellet structural deformation problems were discussed.

        The surface heat flux of nuclear fuel rod is the most important factor which can affect safety of reactor and fuel. If fuel rod surface heat flux exceeds the CHF(Critical Heat Flux), fuel can be damaged. In case of double cooled annular fuel, which is under developing, contains two coolant channels. Therefore, a generated heat in the fuel pellet can move to inner or outer channel and heat flow direction is decided by both sides heat resistance which varied by dimension and material property change which caused by temperature and irradiation. The new program(called DUO) was developed. For the calculation of surface heat flux, a both sides convection by inner/outer coolant, s gap temperature jump and conduction in the fuel are modeled. Especially, temperature and time dependent fuel dimension and material property change are considered during the iteration. A sample calculation result shows that the DUO program has sufficient performance for annular fuel thermal hydraulics design.

      • 자생 차(Camellia sinensis L.)의 육묘 방법에 관한 연구

        These experiments were conducted to studies on methods raising seedling in Native Tea Trees(Camellia sinensis L.). this experiment was conducted for 2years from 1999 to 2000 in Kyeongnam Provincial Rural Development Administration(R.D.A) The results were summarized as follows: 1. Germination percentage, mature seedling percentage, tiller, leaf number, leaf length and dry weight become higher Cup Pot Φ16cm treatment plot, plant height and leaf area was high some Net Pot Φ15cm treatment plot. 2. The growth of underground and aboveground show a good result all Cup Pot Φ16cm treatment plot. 3. The T/R rate of Cup Pot Φ16cm treatment plot were found 100% and Cup Pot Φ15cm treatment plot were found 114%. 4. The economic gains become higher Cup Pot Φ16cm.

      • Ab initio Total Energy Calculation and Electronic Structure of UO_(2)

        Actinide계 원자나 화합물에서 5f 전자의 행위는 매우 매력적인 주제중의 하나이다. 우리는 fluorite구조에서 5f상태의 효과가 나타나는 UO_(2)를 시료로 택했다. 우리는 두 가지의 전형적인 이론적인 방법인 tight-binding 방법과 ab initio pseudopotential방법을 택하여 UO_(2)의 전자구조를 계산하였고, 이들 시료에서 5f 상태의 역할을 추적 하였다. 여기서 우리가 주로 보고자 하였던 것은 화학결합과정에서 전하의 이동과 공유성과의 상관성을 추적하는데 있다. 계산결과에 의하면, 이온결합으로 알려진 UO_(2)에서 약 30%의 공유결합성을 보였고, 따라서 이들 공유결합성은 시료의 전자구조, 전기 전도도등에 결정적 역할을 하리라 기대된다. The behavior of the 5f states in the actinide atoms and compounds is one of the most fascinating subjects. We have taken uranium dioxide UO_(2) as an example for our investigation, where uranium with a partially filled 5f shell should show the effects of 5f states within fluorite-structured phase. We calculated the electronic structure of UO_(2) by using both two theoretical approaches, tight-binding method and ab initio pseudopotential calculation method, and investigated the role of 5f states in the uranium dioxide. Here we wish to stress the general point, namely, that there is a close connection between the nature of charge transfer in the chemical bonding and covalency. The sample is known as a strong ionic material. However our results show that there are some covalency of about 30%. Thus we expect that the covalency make a critical role in the electronic properties and conductivity of UO_(2).
