Objectives : This is a clinical report on a 63-year-old female patient with Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) treated by oriental medicine treatments. Methods : The patient was treated by acupuncture, moxibustion and herb medication. The improvement of the patient was judged by Visual Analog Scale(VAS). Results : The pain had been gradually reduced and VAS became 2 after the treatment for 25 days. Conclusions : Oriental medicine treatment including Bogigeopung-san was very effective to improve the TN patient's symptoms. It is necessary to have more observations and cases on the patients with TN.

This paper presents a fuzzy data fusion scheme which can analyze the sensor condition, the strength and location of a force applied to a test material. These can be realized by the modelling and fusioning of sensor signals and sensor properties. The technique uses, as the inference variables, relative magnitude of data (RMD), absolute magnitude of data (AMD) initial state (IS), synchronized relational function (SRF) and asynchronized relational function (ARF). To show the usefulness of this scheme, an experiment on the cantilever bar and six strain gages is carried out. The location of the force is inferred from SRF and ARF and the strength from RMD and AMD. In particular, the strength is compared with the measurement data of the force sensor.

DSTC(Defense Systems Test Center) in ADD(Agency for Defense Development) performs a test for various kinds of weapon system. In order to provide accurate test measurement data relating to the weapon system's performance with customer, A reliable test process and an objective analysis of the measurement data are required. DSTC is trying to apply CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) Ver 1.2 in a test process. In this paper, we present the result of CMMI Engineering Process Area Modelling of Test Process.

In this study, one type of circular shaped composite tube was used, combined with reinforcing foam and without foam. Furthermore, CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) circular member manufactured from CFRP prepreg sheet for lightweight design. CFRP is an anisotropic material which is the most widely adapted lightweight structural member. The crashworthy behavior of circular composite material tubes subjected to static axial compression under same conditions is reported in this paper. Test was executed in order to compare the results to the energy absorption and collapse shape. The collapse mode during the failure process were observed and analyzed. The behavior of polymeric foams to the tubes crashworthiness were also investigated. According to the experimental results, specimens filled with foam are higher total energy absorption than the other specimens not filled with the foam.

본 논문은 측정시스템의 정확도와 불확도 설정, 측정기법 및 측정시스템에 대한 공인화 방안을 제시하고 있다. 측정오차는 크게 정적오차 및 동적오차로 구분되는데, 측정시 항상 존재할 수 있는 정적오차를 구할 수 있는 오차방정식과, 공인화 절차를 제안하였다. This paper presents how to evaluate the accuracy and uncertainty of the measuring techniques and the measurement systems, and establish their accreditation procedures. There are largely static error and dynamic error in the measurement error. In particular, the static error which always remains in the measurement systems is obtained by proposed error equations. In addition, the accreditation procedures are proposed.

Objective : Lycii Fructus Extracts(LFE) can do Anti-hypertension activity, Antidepressant, Anti-diabetic activity. This study was designed to investigate effects of LFE on skin whitening and elasticity using melanoma cells. Methods : In this experiment, effect of LFE on cell viability, inhibition of melanin synthesis and inhibitory effect on tyrosinase and elastase. Results : More than $250{\mu}g/ml$ of LFE treated group showed lowered proliferation rates significantly compared to non-treated group. More than $125{\mu}g/ml$ of LFE treated groups were lower levels of melanin synthesis respectively. LFE showed inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activities in vitro. And, LFE suppressed tyrosinase activities in B16F10 cells significantly. Finally, LFE suppressed elastase type I and IV activities in dose-dependent manner in vitro. And LFE also slightly suppressed elastase activities in vivo. Conclusion : These results suggest that LFE can inhibit melanin synthesis through ihhibitory action on tyrosinase activity and inhibt elastase activity, and also suggest that these results can be used for the study on maintaining skin elasticity or whitening.
