        The First Newborn Screening Study of T-Cell Receptor Excision Circle and к- Deleting Recombination Excision Circle for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency in Korea: A Pilot Study

        Purpose: Severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) is the most serious form of primary immunodeficiency. Infants with SCID are susceptible to life-threatening infections. To establish newborn screening for SCID in Korea, we performed a screening test for T-cell receptor excision circle (TREC) and к-deleting recombination excision circle (KREC) in neonates and investigated the awareness of SCID among their parents. Methods: Collections of dried blood spots from neonates and parent surveys were performed at the Samsung Medical Center and Cheil General Hospital & Women's Healthcare Center in Korea. The amplification crossing point (Cp) value <37.0 was defined as TREC/KRECpositive based on cutoff values from measuring multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction. A Cp value >39.0 was defined as negative. Results: For TREC/KREC screening, 141 neonates were enrolled; 63 (44.7%) were male. One hundred forty neonates (99.3%) had positive TREC/KREC results at the time of the initial test; 82.3% and 75.9% were positive and 17.0% and 23.4% were weakly positive for TREC and KREC, respectively. In one neonate (0.7%), the initial TREC/KREC test result was negative. However, repeated tests obtained and confirmed a positive result. For an awareness survey, 168 parents were engaged. Only 2% of parents (3/168) knew that the newborn screening test for SCID had been introduced and performed in other countries. Eighty-four percent of parents (141/168) replied that nationwide newborn SCID screening should be performed in Korean newborns. Conclusions: In this study, newborn SCID screening was performed along with assessment of public awareness of the SCID test in Korea. The study results showed that newborn SCID screening can be readily applied for clinical use at a relatively low cost in Korea.

        웹드라마 <연애플레이리스트>의 서사 확장 모델에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 웹드라마가 삼각관계 모티프를 활용하여 어떻게 시리즈 서사를 만들어가는지 그 구체적인 사례를 분석하는데 있다. 웹드라마는 TV드라마와 달리 향유자가 짧은 시간 가볍게 소비할 수 있다는 특징을 갖는다. 하지만 일회적 소비재라는 특성은 쉽게 잊혀지고 반복적 향유를 필요로 하지 않는다는 한계 또한 갖게 한다. 따라서 웹드라마의 스토리 확장과 시즌제는 현실적으로 어려움이 존재한다. 이런 환경적인 한계에도 불구하고 <연애플레이리스트>는 시리즈를 확장하면서 장시간 많은 향유자를 만나는데 성공한 대표적인 사례라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 <연애플레이리스트>의 스토리 확장 전략을 분석하여 웹드라마라는 매체가 지닌 서사 확장의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 스토리텔링 전략을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 <연애플레이리스트>는 시즌1에서 시즌4까지의 서사를 우선 분석하였다. 그 결과 시즌이 진행되는 동안 등장인물들이 사랑을 쟁취하거나 유지하거나 실패하면서 스토리를 지속하는 양상을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 이 작품에 나타나는 대학생들의 사랑 이야기는 삼각관계라는 특정 모티프를 모듈화시키면서 스토리를 확장하는 양상을 보여주었다. 그리고 각 시즌별 등장인물들의 삼각관계 스토리 패턴은 인물들의 관계가 어떻게 스토리텔링되느냐에 따라 틈입형, 일방향형, 폐쇄형, 조력형의 삼각관계 등 네 가지 유형으로 정리할 수 있었다.

        피부관리실 운영자가 지각하는 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 교육만족도 및 경영성과의 개선방안

        This study provides basic data to analyze national competency standard (NCS) education factors of sk in cosmetologists operating sk in care shops to find out how they affect education satisfaction and business performance. A total of 320 survey data were collected for the composition of the questionnaire, and the measurement tools were modified and supplemented to suit the setting of this study and reconstructed. General characteristics (9 questions), state of operation according to NCS (11 questions), recognition according to the NCS level perceived by skin cosmetologists (14 questions), education satisfaction of NCS learning module (program) (17 questions), and business performance (9 questions), consisting of a total of 60 questions in 6 areas. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, cross-tabulation and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 22.0 program. The results of the study showed that the three factors of ‘knowledge technology’, ‘attitude and confidence’, and ‘business management’ had a significant effect. The application of NCS had a significant positive correlation between educational satisfaction and business performance (p<0.001), and it was confirmed that skin cosmetologists preferred a special skin care program that was easily acquired and differentiated from the skin care shop. In addition, it was found that NCS education wanted realistic development that could help business management. As a result, it is difficult to differentiate the program module from basic education to special management education at present, and it is confirmed that additional development that can have characteristics for each skin care shop is necessary in order to compete competitively with the gradually increasing skin care shop. If NCS education develops further in line with the needs of skin cosmetologists who manage these skin care shop, it is judged that NCS education will help develop the skin beauty industry in terms of skin care.

        피부미용전공 대학생들의 국가직무능력표준(NCS)교육에서 학습 만족도 및 자기효능감이 직무문제해결자신감에 미치는 영향

        To examine whether NCS education is practically applied to the skin care major students who take the NCS curriculum, this study was identified and verified the factors affecting on job-problem-solving such as the actual state of NCS-based operation and perception, learning satisfaction, self-efficacy, and the factors affected on confidence in job problem-solving was analyzed. The composition of the survey consisted of a total of 41 questions in 4 areas: general characteristics (4 questions), NCS-based operation status and perception (9 questions), learning satisfaction and self-efficacy (16 questions), and career selection (6 questions). After verifying the reliability and validity of the measurement tool, questionnaire was composed. To analyze the data, 4 analysis as following frequency, reliability, factor, and multiple regression were applied using the SPSS 22.0 program. The module for identifying skin conditions in the learning module of the NCS-based operation practices out of NCS curriculum has an effect on increase confidence of the college students being able to solve a job problem after choosing a job and the improvement of professional knowledge such as skin condition identification can prevent from getting out of job. In the learning satisfaction field of NCS curriculum, the higher the skill improvement the skin beauty technic and the possibility of completion of a task through NCS curriculum, the higher the job problem-solving confidence, and In skin beauty college students' self-directed learning participation, the basic knowledge should be encouraged to build up by inducing technical knowledge and interest. In the self-efficacy field of the NCS curriculum, it was found that the more you try to think deeply about skin beauty, recognize the lack of self-skills through NCS education, and feel the need for education reinforcement, the more confident you are in solving job problems. In addition, among the deficient factors in academic performance at the university education level using NCS curriculum, class engagement and academic self-efficacy can act as factors that increase academic achievement. When job problems arise, the application of knowledge and skills acquired through NCS education is expected to affect job problem-solving confidence that can overcome obstacles arising after job choice. The NCS education of college students majoring in skin care was exposed to be a positive factor that improves job problem-solving confidence after employment by increasing learning satisfaction and self-efficacy.

        <비스트>와 <하이라이트>를 통해 본 아이돌의 아이덴티티 유지를 위한 이미지 스토리텔링 연구

        The purpose of this study is explain the strategy of idol groups to maintain their own identity while attempting to change their concept on every album. The idol-entertainment industry focused on cultural product called ‘idol’ is a culture business but still uncertain of success elements and doubtable of sustainability. In this circumstance, idol should establish themselves in uncertain markets by persuading and communicating their values to the public with their own identity. In this document explain the idol group <Highlight> and their image storytelling from Roland Barthess Symbolism and Levi-Straussian myth to keep their own identity even if after the issue of changing their group name. <Highlights> experienced three stages of change. The first Highlight was <BEAST> as ‘in the raw’ implied the story of a man suffering from inexperienced in love and break-up. This is concluded to image of wildness as it is in love and break-up. However, the Highlights in third stage as ‘mature’ implies the story of a man who is mature and experienced in dealing break-up maturely. This shows that they have learned how to deal with parting maturely and, as a result, have grown into a mature and composed man in love and break ups. The mediation between <BEAST> and <Highlights>, which has this ambivalent aspects, is the highlight in second stage, as 'third album of <BEAST>'. Threatened maintaining their identity by Jang Hyun-seung’s secede, but <BEAST> overcame the crisis using this image storytelling technique showed and sent their fans the message that ’remaining 5 members will perform better music regardless of the members who have left.' 본 논문은 아이돌 그룹이 매 앨범마다 이미지 변신을 꾀하면서도 고유한 아이덴티티(identity)를 유지하는 전략이 무엇인지를 밝히는 데 그 목적이 있다. 아이돌 산업은 ‘아이돌’이라는 문화상품을 중심으로 하는 문화 산업으로 성공 요소가 불확실하며 지속가능성 여부에 의구심이 존재한다. 이러한 환경에서 아이돌은 그들 고유의 아이덴티티를 통해 자신들의 가치를 대중에게 전하고 소통하며 불확실한 시장 내에 자리매김을 시도한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 아이돌 그룹 <하이라이트(Highlight)>가 그룹명이 바뀌는 사건을 겪은 후에도 고유의 아이덴티티를 유지하기 위해 어떤 이미지 스토리텔링을 하고 있는지를 롤랑 바르트의 기호체계와 레비-스트로스의 신화론을 통해 살펴보았다. <하이라이트>는 총 3단계의 변화를 경험하였다. <하이라이트> 1기는 ‘날 것’으로서의 <하이라이트>로 ‘사랑과 이별에 미숙한 남자의 아픔’이라는 신화를 내포하고 있다. 이는 사랑과 이별에 있어 날 것 그대로의 야생적인 모습으로 귀결된다. 반면, <하이라이트> 3기에 해당하는 ‘익힌 것’으로서의 <하이라이트>는 ‘이별에 성숙하게 대처하는 남자’의 신화를 보여준다. 이를 통해 이들이 이별에 성숙하게 대처하는 법을 학습하였고 그 결과 사랑과 이별 앞에 성숙하고 여유로운 남자로 성장하였다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이처럼 상반된 양상을 보이는 <비스트>와 <하이라이트>를 중재하는 매개항은 2기의 <하이라이트> 즉, ‘비스트 3집’이다. 멤버 장현승의 탈퇴로 아이덴티티 지속에 위협을 받은 <비스트>는 3집 앨범을 통해 ‘탈퇴한 멤버와 상관없이 다섯 멤버가 더 좋은 음악을 하겠다는 의지를 팬들에게 전하는’ 이미지 스토리텔링 기법을 활용으로써 그 위기를 극복하였다.
