        품종에 따른 건지황의 이화학적 특성 연구

        Background: This study was conducted to compare the physicochemical properties of 12 different cultivars of Rehmannia glutinosa, a plant used in Korean traditional herbal medicine. Method and Results: We investigated the following 12 cultivars of R. glutinosa; Jihwang1, Goryeo, Daegyung, Gogang, Togang, Dagang, Wongang, Yeongang, Hwanggang, Dahwang, Segang and Chunggang. We measured water content, chromaticity, hardness, active components levels, and antioxidant activity. Our results showed that Togang has the lowest water content and the highest yield. The catalpol content was the highest in Togang (40.50 ㎎/g) and the lowest in Chunggang (22.17 ㎎/g). The aucubin content was the highest in Hwanggang (0.28 ㎎/g). Chunggang had the lowest aucubin content, but the highest level of verbascoside. Total flavonoid and total polyphenol were the highest in Daegyung and Chunggang, respectively. There was a strong correlation between the total flavonoid and total polyphenol (r = 0.89) content. Conclusions: There were significant differences in physicochemical properties among 12 cultivars. These properties will affect suitability for processing and final product quality. We therefore suggest the selection of appropriate cultivars for different uses.

        TBRI를 통한 청소년 교육시설 인테리어 테라피 사례 연구

        During adolescence, youths may experience many unexpected changes due to sudden variances. At that time, youths were found to show rebellious or abnormal behaviors due to psychological wounds. These are often caused by psychological wounds oriented at home or at school, which may make some problems in adolescents' self-respect and attachment. In this study, we plan to conduct an analysis of the case of the interior therapy of educational facilities through TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) to discover how psychological therapy for youths is applied to an interior environment. The cases analysis are conducted based on the three principles of TBRI and the twenty seven detailed keywords within each principle. The research method is oriented on the research of literature focusing on TBRI-related external studies and domestic/external studies of interior therapy. The ranges of the case study are studied in six educational facilities retrieved and extracted from the website 'Archdaily' and from the 2019 Journal of the Korean Institute of Educational Facilities. The research article are concluded that TBRI's principles were applied to shape, finish material, color, lighting, furniture layout, plan layout, sculpture, and built-in-furniture by analyzing the interior therapy of educational facilities according to the elements of TBRI.

        Recent progress in dendrimer-based nanomedicine development

        Dendrimers offer well-defined nanoarchitectureswith spherical shape, high degree of molecular uniformity,and multiple surface functionalities. Such unique structuralproperties of dendrimers have created many applicationsfor drug and gene delivery, nanomedicine, diagnostics, andbiomedical engineering. Dendrimers are not only capableof delivering drugs or diagnostic agents to desired sites byencapsulating or conjugating them to the periphery, butalso have therapeutic efficacy in their own. When comparedto traditional polymers for drug delivery, dendrimershave distinct advantages, such as high drug-loadingcapacity at the surface terminal for conjugation or interiorspace for encapsulation, size control with well-definednumbers of peripheries, and multivalency for conjugationto drugs, targeting moieties, molecular sensors, andbiopolymers. This review focuses on recent applications ofdendrimers for the development of dendrimer-basednanomedicines for cancer, inflammation, and viral infection. Although dendrimer-based nanomedicines still facesome challenges including scale-up production and wellcharacterization,several dendrimer-based drug candidatesare expected to enter clinical development phase in thenear future.

        QLEDs 효율 및 안정성 향상을 위한 전하 수송 소재 개발 동향

        Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) have gained attention for applications in quantum dot light emitting diodes (QLEDs) due to their high photoluminescence quantum yield, narrow emission spectra, and tunable bandgap. Nevertheless, non-radiative recombination induced by electron and hole imbalance deteriorates the device efficiency and stability. To overcome the problem, researchers have been trying to enhance hole transport properties of hole transporting layers (HTL) and/or slow down the electron injection in electron transport layer (ETL). Here, we summarize two approaches: i) development of interfacial materials between QD and ETL (or HTL); ii) engineering of HTL by blending or multi-layer approaches.

        각 국가별 자외선차단지수 측정법의 비교 분석 및 자외선차단지수에 영향을 주는 요인들

        Sunscreen is a product that blocks and scatters UV rays to protect them from UV rays. Domestic consumers generously invest in sunscreen, ranking first in the world in terms of sun care consumption per capita in 2019. Sunscreens are subject to a variety of factors, including regulations, ingredients, formulations, clinical trials, and product labeling, but are tightly controlled as product demand increases. In this study, various factors affecting the UV protection factor were investigated and analyzed. Preemptive measures such as continuous investigation are required so that various factors such as these do not become obstacles for domestic cosmetics companies to export, and to revitalize the export market with international competitiveness.

        EU의 인공지능법과 플랫폼 노동 지침상 알고리즘 관리의 규율

        With the advancement of artificial intelligence technology and the progression of digital transformation, algorithmic management is expanding beyond digital labor platforms into traditional work environments. This study examines the adequacy of algorithmic management regulation through a comparative analysis of the EU AI Act and Platform Work Directive, focusing on transparency and participation requirements. The research finds that while the AI Act presents comprehensive transparency requirements, it shows limitations in addressing labor-specific contexts due to its broad scope and market-oriented priorities. The Platform Work Directive, although limited to digital labor platforms, establishes effective regulatory standards by specifying information provision criteria and mechanisms for participation of union. This Directive provides a practical model for algorithmic management regulation and serves as a starting point for developing standards to protect workers in both platform and traditional work environments. The findings of this analysis are expected to provide a foundational framework for establishing integrated regulatory standards for algorithmic management in South Korea, particularly concerning transparency and participatory procedures.

        Comparison of Mechanical Properties of Blended and Synthesized Biodegradable Polyesters

        In this study, a new biodegradable co-polyester was prepared and characterized based on its crystallinityand thermal properties. The crystallinity decreased as the content of long chain monomers, such as adipic acid, inthe main chain of poly(butylene succinate) increased, whereas the flexibility increased. Compared with an immiscibleblended resin having the same monomer composition, the flexibility and elongation of the synthesized co-polyesterwas superior without compromise of biodegradability.

        무조음악에 내재된 구조적 성부진행 연구 : ‘음향 간 성부진행’의 관점에서

        The voice leading researches for the analysis of atonal music have been studied by focusing on measuring the degree of similarity through ‘connection of common tones’ and ‘maximally smooth voice leading progression’. However, in 2014, the Total Voice Leading theory proposed by Straus focuses on the ‘connection’ and ‘possibility’ of relationship between sonorities on the real music surface. In this paper, I first introduce Straus’s Total Voice Leading System, which provided a new perspective on the study of voice-leading progression in atonal music and I try to analyze the Webern’s song, ≪Three Songs≫, op. 25, no. 3. Through this analytical study, I could prove the structural total voice leading systems latent in Webern’s music by considering the possibility of acoustic voice leading. 지금까지 연구되어 온 무조음악 분석을 위한 성부진행 이론은 특정 음고류 집합에서 다른 음고류 집합으로의 진행 시, ‘공통음의 연결’과 ‘최대 근접 진행’을 통해 집합 사이 유사성의 정도를측정하기 위한 개념들을 제시하며 ‘자연스러운 성부진행’을 밝히는 데 주목하였다. 그러나 2014 년, 스트라우스가 제안한 총체적 성부진행(Total Voice Leading) 이론은 실제 음악 표면에 울리는 음들의 ‘연결’과 그 ‘가능성’에 대해 초점을 맞춘 실제적인 ‘들음의 경로’에 대한 탐구라 할 수있으며, 음향에 ‘내재된 기대’에 대한 가능성들의 ‘집합화’, 그리고 그 가능성들의 관계 조망을 통해 난해한 무조음악에 내재된 ‘성부진행 가능성’을 ‘총체적 성부진행’ 이론을 통해 가시화 한다. 이에 필자는 무조음악 성부진행 연구에 새로운 관점을 제공한 스트라우스의 총체적 성부진행이론을 소개하고, 베베른(Anton Webern, 1883∼1945)의 ≪3개의 가곡≫ op. 25, No. 3 작품을음향 간 성부진행의 관점에서 분석 시도한다. 음고류 사이 진행 가능성에 대한 고찰, 그리고 도출된 음향 간 총체적 성부진행들의 관계를 보다 심화된 층위에서 분석하여 무조음악 안에 내재된실제 울림의 구조적 성부진행을 밝히는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다.
