False aneurysms(Pseudoaneurysms) and arteriovenous fistulas have only rarely been reported in the facial region. In this region the false aneurysm arises most frequently in the superficial temporal and facial artery, but other branches of the external carotid are sometimes involved, including the maxillary and lingual artery. False aneurysms can be occurred by blunt trauma that either laceration or rupture the full thickness of the arterial wall. The diagnosis of a false arterial aneurysm can be often made solely on the basis of physical examination. Angiography is helpful for conformation, for delineating the lesion and its vascular supply, and for ruling out the presence of associated vascular lesions such as arteriovenous fistulas. Ultrasonography may also be useful in delineating lesions that are not easily accessible for physical examination. Treatment of false aneurysms is excision, ligation, and arterial embolization. This is a case of false aneurysm of the lingual artery after facial trauma caused by traffic accident. The lesion was successfully treated by embolization and ligation of the lingual and facial branches of the external carotid artery.

Acinic cell carcinoma is a rare salivary gland carcinoma, usually being found in the parotid gland and is uncommon in the other major and minor salivary glands. The tumor cells consist of either serous or mucous acinar cells with few ductal or myoepithelial cell elements. The tumor is a low-grade malignancy with slow growth potential. Surgical therapy depends on tumor size and the extent of infiltration into neighboring tissues. Superficial parotidectomy or total parotidectomy is the initial method of therapy in case of acinic cell carcinoma on parotid gland. When regional neck lymph nodes are involved, the operation is combined with a neck dissection, or with radiation therapy. In the short follow up period, acinic cell carcinoma has good prognosis with 5 year survival rate after surgery is over 80%. In the long-term follow-up, however, there is a tendency to increase in recurrence or metastasis. We experienced a case of acinic cell carcinoma of parotid gland in a 57-year-old female, so we report it with literatures review.

Polarized Optical Properties of a GaInP Lateral Superlattice

We report the optical properties of (GaP)1/(InP)1 short-period superlattice (SPS) structures in the presence of lateral composition modulation (LCM). LCM is related to alternating Ga-rich and In-rich GaInP bands elongated along the [1.10] direction. Polarized photoluminescence (PL) measurements exhibit a strong anisotropy in the presence of LCM. Polarization anisotropy in a PL response is not observed for a sample in which no LCM forms. Raman spectra taken from the top surface of the sample exhibit a GaP-like longitudinal optical (LO) phonon response at 383 cm.1, an InP-like LO phonon response at 363 cm.1, and a transverse optical (TO) phonon response at 330 cm.1. The LO-like and the TO-like characteristics of these phonon modes are further investigated by taking Raman spectra from the cleaved edge of the sample in various polarization configurations.

Raman Studies of InGaAlAs Digital Alloys

Optical phonons in InGaAlAs digital alloy structures are systematically studied in terms of (In_(0.53)Ga_(0.47)As)_l/(In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As)_l (period length l = 1, 2, 4, 5) and (In_(0.53)Ga_(0.47)As)_(1−z)/(In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As)_z (composition z = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) short-period superlattices. Raman spectra reveal GaAs-like and AlAs-like longitudinal optical (LO) phonons confined in In_(0.53)Ga_(0.47)As and In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As layers, respectively. InAs-like LO phonons are also observed in the In_(0.53)Ga_(0.47)As and the In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As layers. The confined GaAs-like LO phonon frequency is sensitive to the In_(0.53)Ga_(0.47)As layer thickness and shifts downward by ~ 7 cm^(−1) with decreasing layer thickness,showing excellent agreement with the LO phonon dispersion for bulk GaAs. Importantly, the confined AlAs-like LO phonon frequency is not sensitive to the In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As layer thickness, indicating the presence of high-quality interface boundaries between the In_(0.53)Ga_(0.47)As and the In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As layers.

대학생의 부모에 대한 심리적 애착과 진로미결정의 관계에서 사회부과적 완벽주의의 매개효과

본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 부‧모 애착과 진로미결정의 관계를 알아보고 부‧모 애착과 진로미결정의 관계에서 사회부과적 완벽주의가 영향을 미치는 것으로 가정한 모형의 적합도 및 변인들의 영향력을 살펴보고 검증하는 것에 있다. 이를 위해 전국의 4년제에 재학중인 대학생 250명을 무선표집하여 온라인 설문을 실시했으며, 자료분석은 SPSS Win 25.0을 사용하여 3단 회귀 방식으로 매개분석 하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부‧모에 대한 심리적 애착이 진로미결정에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 부모와 안정적으로 애착관계를 잘 형성할수록 진로결정에 대한 어려움이 줄어든 다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 부‧모에 대한 심리적 애착과 진로미결정의 관계에서 사회부과적 완벽주의의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이는 부와 모에 대한 심리적 애착이 안정적으로 잘 형성될수록 사회부과적 완벽주의와 진로미결정은 낮아진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 진로 상담 실제 및 후속 연구에 대한 시사점을 논하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between parental/parental attachment and career indecision among college students, and to examine the goodness of fit and influence of variables in a model that assumes that socially imposed perfectionism has an influence on the relationship between parental/parental attachment and career indecision. It's about verification. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted by randomly sampling 250 college students attending 4-year institutions across the country, and data analysis was conducted using a three-stage regression method using SPSS Win 25.0. The analysis results are as follows. First, psychological attachment to parents appears to have a negative effect on career indecision, confirming that the more a stable attachment relationship with parents is formed, the less difficulties in career decision-making. Second, the mediating effect of socially imposed perfectionism was confirmed in the relationship between psychological attachment to parents and career indecision. This shows that the more stable the psychological attachment to the father and mother is formed, the lower the level of socially imposed perfectionism and career indecision. Based on these research results, implications for career counseling practice and follow-up research were discussed.

Primary intraosseous carcinoma(PIOC) is defined as a squamous cell carcinoma arising within the jaw, having no initial connection with the oral mucosa. The squamous cell carcinoma within the bone can be presumably developed from residues of the odontogenic epithelium, therefore, it is seen in the jaw only. Metastatic carcinoma from another primary site should be excluded in the diagnosis of Primary Intraosseous Carcinoma. This is a case of 62-year-old man, who initially diagnosed as odontogenic cyst on maxilla, but its pathologic examination was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma with odontogenic cyst. We treated this patient with partial maxillectomy, modified radical neck dissection(mRND), and postoperative radiation therapy.

방향키를 이용한 한글입력 시스템

본 연구는 방향키를 이용한 한글 입력 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 한글의 획순에 대응되는 방향키와 보충키를 이용하여 한글을 입력하는 방법으로 별도의 학습이 필요하지 않을 뿐 아니라 소수의 입력키만을 이용할 수 있어 문자입력 장치의 크기를 최소화하여 한글의 자음과 모음을 입력하는 한글 입력 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
