        임상간호사의 코칭유형에 따른 감성지능과 조직몰입

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate emotional intelligence and organizational commitment according to the coaching types of clinical nurses. Methods: The subject were 195 clinical nurses. Data collected from September 22 to October 10, 2014. Collected data were analyzed with χ2 test, Fisher’s exact test, Kruskal-Wallis test, ANCOVA and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient analysis. Results: As for the distribution of coaching types among the participants, the friendly type consisted of 116 participants (59.5%), a social type consisted of 31 participants (15.9%), commanding type consisted of 25 participants (12.8%) and the analytical type consisted of 23 participants (11.8%). Differences in general characteristics according to coaching types were statistically significant in age, marital status, job experience and current job position. There were statistically significant difference in emotional intelligence, regulation of emotion, use of emotion, emotional commitment and normative commitment according to coaching type. There were significant correlation between emotional intelligence and organizational commitment of coaching types excluding the commanding type. Conclusions: These findings suggest that in order to higher levels of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment of clinical nurses, it is necessary to understand the coaching type of individual clinical nurses and to develop and implement systematic programs for efficient personnel management to attain.

        대학생 문제음주 영향요인

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine affecting factors on problematic drinking of college students. Methods: The subjects were 258 college students. Data collected from November 28 through December 9, 2016. Collected data were analyzed with Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson`s correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: Problematic drinking based on general characteristics showed statistically significant difference in gender, age, grade, resident type, major GPA, having smoke and drinking cost. The factors affecting problematic drinking were as follows: high drinking costs, low major GPA, smoker, drinking refusal self-efficacy and drinking motivation. The explanatory power of theses factors was 54.3%. Conclusions: This findings suggest that in order to reduce the problematic drinking of college students, it is necessary to develop and apply a reducing drinking program considering individual factors, cognitive factors, and socio-cultural factors and it should be approached from a diverse and comprehensive viewpoint including smoking cessation education.

        문제음주 대학생을 위한 자기결정성증진 절주프로그램 개발 및 효과

        Purpose: This study examined the impact of a drinking reduction program on drinking motivation, drinking refusal self-efficacy, and problematic drinking behaviors in college students with problematic drinking habits. Methods: This study incorporated a non-equivalent control group prepost-test design. Study participants included 58 college students who scored 12 or more in the AUDIT-K test (Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test-Korean version) (experimental group: 30; control group: 28). The intervention consisted of eight sessions and was conducted once a week. It was designed to promote autonomy, competence, and relatedness-the three elements of basic psychological needs in self-determination theory. The participants were assessed before the intervention, immediately after, and four weeks post intervention. Data were collected from October 12 to December 31, 2017. The analysis employed the chi-square test, Fisher’s exact test, independent t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: The mean age of participants was 21.8 years. There were 30 men (51.7%) and 28 women (48.3%). The differences in drinking motivation, drinking refusal self-efficacy, and problematic drinking behaviors were statistically significant for the group by time interaction (F = 42.56, p < .001; F = 54.96, p < .001; F = 39.90, p < .001, respectively). Conclusion: The findings indicate that the intervention effectively decreases drinking motivation, increases drinking refusal self-efficacy, and decreases problematic drinking behaviors. It can be an efficient strategy for college students with problematic drinking habits to enhance their self-determination ability.

        간호대학생을 위한 시뮬레이션기본실습 프로그램 개발 및 효과평가

        Purpose: This study aimed to develop and investigate the effectiveness of a basic simulation practicum for junior nursing students. Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted using a control group pretest-posttest design to evaluate the effects of the practicum from October to November 2020. Participants in the experimental group (n=27) received a 30-hour basic simulation practicum. The control group (n=27) participated in a traditional clinical practicum in the same period. Outcome measures included not only technical skills such as clinical competency and critical thinking disposition, but also nontechnical skills such as team psychological safety and teamwork. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. Results: After the intervention, there were significant improvements in clinical competency (p<.001), critical thinking disposition (p<.001), team psychological safety (p<.001), and teamwork (p<.001) in the experimental group compared with the control group. Conclusion: The basic course of the simulation practicum effectively improved both technical and non-technical skills. In addition, it was more effective than the traditional clinical practicum. Therefore, simulation educational strategies need to be actively applied to effectively improve various competencies in a safer practice environment for junior nursing students who are taking the first step toward preparing for professional nursing.

        추출온도 및 시간에 따른 유백피 추출물의 항산화 활성과 음료의 관능적 특성

        Ulmus pumila L. bark underwent distilled water extraction under three temperature condition (4℃, room temperature, or 80℃) and two extraction times (1, or 5 min) in order to develop a functional beverage products. Changes in yield, pH, color, total phenolic (TP) content, tannin content and antioxidant activity of the aqueous extracts were evaluated for each extraction temperature and duration. Extraction conditions did not affect yield or pH value of the extracts; however CIE b* values were high in extracts prepared under high extraction temperature (80℃) and long extraction duration (5 min) conditions. Both extraction temperature and duration affected the TP and tannin contents of the extracts; however, all extraction conditions resulted in ≥450 mg GAE/g TP content and ≥80 mg CE/g tannin content. All extracts exhibited ABTS and DPPH radical scavenging ability similar to that of vitamin C. Nitric oxide inhibition activity was lower in the 5 min duration sample than in the 1 min sample. The 4℃ extraction temperature produced an extract with the highest reducing power and hydrogen peroxide values. Extraction temperature also affected sensory evaluation results with the 80℃ extraction temperature producing significantly higher flavor, bitterness, and color score, than those obtained under 4℃ and room temperature extraction conditions.

        Effectiveness of Integrated Simulation Practicum for Senior Nursing Students: An Experimental Study

        Purpose: In this study, we developed an integrated simulation practicum and investigated the effectiveness of the practicum for senior nursing students. Methods: Sixty-seven senior nursing students from a university were enrolled in this study and assigned into two groups: experimental (n = 31) and control (n = 36). We developed and applied a 60-hour integrated simulation practicum that spans a 3-week period. The control group performed a traditional clinical practicum. The outcome measures were critical thinking disposition, clinical competence, and practicum satisfaction and the data were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 software. Results: After the intervention, both experimental and control groups showed significant improvement in critical thinking disposition (p = .017) and clinical competence (p < .001) compared to those of the baseline. Regarding practicum satisfaction, the experimental group showed significantly higher satisfaction than the control group (p = .003). Conclusion: The integrated simulation practicum was an effective program that improved critical thinking, clinical competence, and practicum satisfaction in senior nursing students. To effectively improve critical thinking and acquire clinical competence, which are essential for prospective nurses, nursing students should be exposed more to simulation practicum that reflect environments similar to actual clinical settings for various patients with complex health problems.

        동적광산란법을 이용한 아밀로즈 함량에 따른 전분 분자 구조 변화 분석

        본 연구에서는 동적광산란법을 이용하여 아밀로즈 함량과 용매 조건에 따른 전분 분자 구조 변화를 규명하였다. 분자량이 다른 여러 가지 덱스트란 표준물질을 이용하여 동적광산란법의 정확성을 검증하였으며, 이를 전분에 적용해본 결과 아밀로즈 함량에 따른 전분 분자의 Dh 변화를 규명할 수 있었고 아밀로즈 함량이 높아질수록 전분 분자의 Dh 값이 증가하였다. 또한, 용매 조건에 따른 전분 분자의 Dh 변화를 동적광산란법으로 규명할 수 있었으며, NaCl의 경우 농도가 높아질수록 아밀로펙틴의 Dh가 증가했지만, 아밀로즈의 Dh는 urea에 더 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 생각된다. 1-Butanol의 경우 전분 분자의 Dh를 증가시켰지만 주목할 만한 경향은 관찰하지 못하였다. 또한, 전분의 아밀로즈 함량과 전분 분자의 Dh는 유의적인 상관관계를 보였으며, 이를 활용할 경우 전분의 아밀로즈 함량을 예측하는 데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라고 기대한다. To evaluate the effects of amylose content and dissolution media on the molecular structure of maize starch, changes in the hydrodynamic diameter of starch molecules were assessed via dynamic light scattering depending on amylose content and dissolution media. As the amylose content of starch increased, the hydrodynamic diameter of starch molecules proportionally decreased from 204 to 92 nm. To alter ionic strength, hydrogen bonding, or polarity of dissolution media, various contents of NaCl (1, 2, or 3 M), urea (1, 2, or 3 M), or 1-butanol (0.1, 0.5, or 1.0%) were added to media, respectively, resulting in increased hydrodynamic diameter of starch. However, the degree of expansion was dependent on amylose content and the concentration and/or type of additive. The hydrodynamic diameter of starch molecules exhibited significant correlation with amylose content obtained by size exclusion chromatography, regardless of dissolution conditions.

        국내 산림식물 11종의 항산화 활성

        This study aimed to investigate antioxidant activities from 11 forest plants, and determine their total phenolics, flavonoids and proantocyanidins contents. In addition, the antioxidant activities were correlated with antioxidant compounds. Among the samples, Cornus officinalis, Castanea crenata, Lindera erythrocarpa, Carpinus laxiflora and Pourthiaea villosa showed significantly higher 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) ($IC_{50}=21.12{\sim}28.93{\mu}g/mL$) and 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothia zoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) ($IC_{50}=28.18{\sim}52.55{\mu}g/mL$) radical scavenging ability with reducing power ($IC_{50}=59.91{\sim}93.64{\mu}g/mL$) than other plants; and C. crenata, L. erythrocarpa and Rubus coreanus showed strong nitric oxide (NO) inhibition activity (${\geq}60%$). In addition, L. erythrocarpa, C. laxiflora and P. villosa showed higher oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) values (${\geq}1,100{\mu}M$ TE/g sample) than other samples. High total phenolic contents were observed in C. crenata (429.11 mg GAE/g), L. erythrocarpa (437.11 mg GAE/g), C. laxiflora (408.67 mg GAE/g) and P. villosa (404.11 mg GAE/g). The DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity with reducing power were significantly correlated with total phenolic contents ($R^2=0.71{\sim}0.79$), but total phenolic contents were not correlated with NO inhibition and ORAC ($R^2=0.35{\sim}0.43$). Therefore, these results suggested that C. officinalis, C. crenata, L. erythrocarpa, C. laxiflora and P. villosa are potential natural antioxidative candidate ingredients.
