Purpose: To analyze imaging findings of hepatic angiomyolipomas (AMLs) on dualcontrast MRI using superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) and gadolinium (Gd) agents. Materials and Methods: Five histopathologically-proven hepatic AMLs were enrolled in this study. Patients underwent dual-contrast MRI using SPIO and Gd agents on a 3.0T unit and performed a qualitative analysis consisting of measuring the signal intensity (SI) of the lesion, presence of fat, hemorrhage, early draining vein, tortuous tumoral vessels, as well as capsule and enhancement patterns. The signal drop of the lesion on post-SPIO images was also assessed. For the quantitative analysis, relative signal decrease (RSD, %) was calculated. Results: The presence of fat was noted in three lesions. An early draining vein and prominent tortous tumoral vessels were depicted in four lesions. No lesion was found to have a capsule. Four lesions showed early wash-in and early wash-out enhancement patterns, while the remaining lesion depicted strong and persistent enhancement. On post-SPIO images, signal drop was noted in the two lesions with no fat within the lesion. Their RSD was 21.1% and 38.0%, respectively. Conclusion: The presence of an early draining vein and tortuous tumoral vessels are characteristic dynamic enhanced MRI features of hepatic AMLs. In fat-deficient hepatic AMLs, the combination of dynamic enhanced MRI and SPIO-enhanced MRI might findings might increase the accuracy of making a correct diagnosis.
Tensile Bond Characteristics between Underwater Coating Materials and Concrete Substrate

In this study, we investigated the tensile bond characteristics of underwater coating materials, in order to obtain useful information in support of repair work for marine and coastal concrete structures. Test variables included type of underwater coating, surface conditions of the concrete substrate, and environmental conditions. Pull-off tensile bond strength was measured at 24 h after applying underwater coatings to concrete substrates, in compliance with the procedures specified in ASTM C1583. Failure modes (coating, interface, and parent concrete) for each coating were identified through visual inspection, and comparisons were made based on measured bond strength. The tensile bond strength decreased underwater compared to that under dry conditions, while no significant effect of surface roughness on the measured bond strength was observed in underwater tests. Key aspects that need to be considered regarding selection and use of underwater coating materials for marine and coastal concrete structures were discussed.

In this paper, we developed and presented a design result for optimizing the geometry of Ag circular SPP waveguide for subwavelength waveguide applications. We investigated the effect of the design parameters on the light propagation and find the optimum design for small modal size, high coupling coefficient, and low sensitivity. The results show that the globally optimal design locates optimal waveguide geometries more efficiently than individual optimal points for multivalued objective function.
갈등사건강도가 역할태만에 미치는 영향에서 동료 모니터링 행동 및 팀 갈등관리의 교차수준 조절효과

Based on Event System Theory, this study investigates conflict event strength, which represents how team members interpret conflict event as the reason for withholding effort. In this study, we identify the impact of conflict event strength on withholding effort. At the same time, as a way of changing the effect of conflict event strength on withholding effort, we examine the cross-level effects of peer monitoring and team conflict management. The data are collected 127 employees from 37 teams, and the multi-level model was tested. Results indicated that conflict event strength was positively related to withholding effort. Also, peer monitoring which is first team-level variable moderated the relationship between task/relationship conflict event strength and withholding effort. Interestingly, we hypothesized that the peer monitoring cause employee’s psychological reactance when relationship conflict event strength is high, which in turn reinforce withholding effort, but the result shows exactly the contrary effect. The second team-level variable, which is team conflict management, only moderated the relationship between task conflict event strength and withholding effort. Based on these findings, the limitation and suggestions of the research and the direction for future research were discussed. 본 연구는 팀 맥락에서 사건체계이론(Event System Theory)에 입각하여, 역할태만이 일어나는 이유로서 갈등사건에 대해 구성원들이 어떻게 해석하는지를 나타내는 사건강도의 영향을 검증하였다. 갈등이 태만에 미치는 영향력을 밝히며, 역할태만에 대한 영향관계를 바꾸기 위한 팀 환경적 요인으로서, 이성적 관리 수단인 동료 모니터링 행동과 정서적 관리 수단인 팀 갈등관리의 조절효과를 검증하였다. 갈등사건강도는 구체적인 갈등사건들에 대한 강도를 측정하였으며, 교차수준 관계를 밝히기 위해서 37개 팀에서 127명의 자료를 수집하여 다수준 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 개인 수준에서 갈등사건강도는 역할태만과 정적으로 관련되 어 있었다. 또한 팀 수준에서, 동료 모니터링 행동은 과업 및 관계갈등사건강도가 역할태만에 미치는 영향을 모두 조절하였다. 흥미롭게도, 본 연구에서는 관계갈등사건강도가 커질수록 동료 모니터링 행동이 구성원들의 심리적 반발심을 일으켜 역할태만에 미치는 영향력을 강화시킬 것이라 예측하였지만, 이와 반대되는 결과가 나타났다. 또 다른 팀 수준 변인인 팀 갈등관리는 과업갈등사건강도의 영향만을 조절하였다. 연구결과들을 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 한계점, 그리고 미래 연구의 방향에 대해 제언하였다.

Purpose: To report the results of anterior vitrectomy for obstruction of the aqueous outflow shunt by prolapsed vitreous strands after trabeculectomy. Case summary: Trabeculectomy was performed on a pseudophakic primary open angle glaucoma patient with uncontrolled intraocular pressure under maximum tolerable medical therapy. Three months after trabeculectomy, the bleb flattened and the intraocular pressure elevated. On gonioscopic examination, vitreous strands prolapsed through the iridectomy site obstructing the inner ostium. The maximum tolerable medical therapy and Nd:YAG laser vitreolysis were attempted, but the intraocular pressure was not controlled. Anterior vitrectomy was performed to remove the prolapsed vitreous strands. After anterior vitrectomy, the bleb regained filtering function and the intraocular pressure was stabilized. Conclusions: In a case with a prolapsed vitreous into the anterior chamber obstructing the outflow shunt of the aqueous humor after trabeculectomy, anterior vitrectomy showed therapeutic effects. 새로 개발된 말초동맥용 자가팽창성 개방형 니티놀 스텐트의 유효성 및 안전성 평가: 미니피그 전임상실험

Purpose To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the newly designed open-cell type self-expandable nitinol stent (NiTi-stent) for peripheral arteries. Materials and Methods Twenty-eight limbs of 14 minipigs were randomly assigned to the NiTistent group or conventional nitinol stent group. Stents were symmetrically implanted into the iliac arteries of each animal using carotid artery approach and were observed for 1 month (n = 5) and 6 months (n = 9). The angiographic lumen diameter (ALD), late lumen loss, angiographic stenosis, histomorphometric lumen area, neointimal area, and area stenosis were analyzed and compared between the groups. Results Stent migration, stent fracture, or thrombus formation were not observed in either group. At the 1-month follow-up, the neointimal area (p = 0.008) and area stenosis (p = 0.016) were significantly smaller in the NiTi-stent group than in the control group. At the 6-months followup, the NiTi-stent group showed significantly larger ALD (p = 0.014), less late lumen loss (p = 0.019), less angiographic stenosis (p = 0.014), larger lumen area (p = 0.040), and smaller neointimal area and area stenosis (p = 0.004 and p = 0.014, respectively) compared with the control group. Conclusion The NiTi-stent is as safe and effective as the conventional nitinol stent and induces less neointimal hyperplasia in a minipig iliac artery model.
