This paper presents the design for the kinematic structure of a system for an automatically moored 6000 ton autonomous ship in a port, and the process and results of optimal design for the link cross-sectional shape. We propose an automatic mooring system with a PPP type serial manipulator structure capable of linear motion in the XYZ axis. The mooring force applied by the mooring system was derived with dynamics simulation tool “ADAMS”. The design goal is the minimization of the cross-sectional area of the link. Constrains include compressive stress and shear stress. The optimization problems were solved by using the sequential quadratic programing method implemented in the fmincon package. The shape of the cross section was assumed to be rectangle. Through future research, we plan to manufacture automatic mooring system for 6000ton class autonomous ship.

Monoclonal anti-enrofloxacin antibody was prepared for a direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and purification system using monoclonal antibody (mAb) coupled magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs). The IC50 values of the developed mAb for enrofloxacin (ENR), ciprofloxacin, difloxacin, sarafloxacin, pefloxacin, and norfloxacin were 5.0, 8.3, 9.7, 21.7, 36.0, and 63.7 ng/mL, respectively. The lowest detectable level of ENR was 0.7 ng/mL in the prepared ELISA system. To validate the developed ELISA in the food matrix, known amounts of ENR were spiked in meat and egg samples at 10, 20 and 30 ng/mL. Recoveries for ENR ranged from 72.9 to 113.16% with a coefficient of variation (CV) of 2.42 to 10.11%. The applicability of the mAb-MNP system was verified by testing the recoveries for ENR residue in three different matrices. Recoveries for ENR ranged from 75.16 to 86.36%, while the CV ranged from 5.08 to 11.53%. Overall, ENR-specific monoclonal antibody was prepared and developed for use in competitive to ELISAs for the detection of ENR in animal meat samples. Furthermore, we suggest that a purification system for ENR using mAb-coupled MNPs could be useful for determination of ENR residue in food.

EVRC (Enhanced Variable Rate Codec)는 북미 및 우리 나라 CDMA 디지털 셀룰러 시스템에 채택되었으며 8kbps의 전송률에서 우수한 성능을 갖는 부호화기이다. 본 논문에서는 복잡한 알고리듬으로 인해 많은 계산량을 갖는 EVRC 부호화기를 성능 저하 없이 고속으로 구현할 수 있는 알고리듬을 제시한다. 제안된 고속 알고리듬에서는 효율적인 피치 검색과 고정 코드북 탐색 과정이 구현되는데, 고정 코드북 탐색 과정에서는 펄스 위치 조합의 수를 제한하는 방법과 줄여진 임펄스 응답을 사용하여 연산량을 기존의 방법의 70% 정도로 감소시킨다. 주관적인 음질 평가를 통해 제안된 고속 EVRC 알고리듬이 기존의 방법에 비해 적은 계산량에 구현되지만 음질의 저하는 초래하지 않는다는 것을 확인하였다. EVRC (Enhanced Variable Rate Codec) has been adopted as a standard coder for the CDMA digital cellular system in North America and Korea, and known to provide good call quality at 8kbps. In this paper, fast implementation algorithms for EVRC encoder are proposed. The proposed algorithms are based on both efficient pitch detection scheme and fast fixed codebook search algorithm. In the codebook search, computational complexity is reduced down to 70% of the original EVRC by limiting the number of pulse position combination and by using a truncated impulse response. The proposed algorithms enable us to implement the EVRC with much smaller computational works. Also, informal subjective tests confirmed that the difference in the speech quality between the original EVRC and the proposed method was indistinguishable.
