오프로드 자율주행을 위한 딥러닝 기반 의미론적 분할 모델 비교

현재 자율주행 기술은 도심에서 다니는 일반 차량에 대하여 활발한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그에 반해 비포장도로의 자율주행에 대한 연구는 복잡한 지형, 불규칙한 주행조건과 같은 제약들로 인하여 더 많은 노력을 필요로 한다. 본 논문은 다양한 딥러닝 기반의 의미론적 분할네트워크들을 활용하여 오프로드 환경에서의 주행가능 영역을 판별하고 성능을 비교한다. 기존 자율주행 연구에 활용되는 데이터셋과는 달리, 본 연구에서는 오프로드 환경을 반영한Rellis-3D 데이터셋을 타겟으로 한다. 주어진 데이터셋에 대해 해당 모델들의 성능을 비교하고 평가하기 위해서 Intersection over Union(IoU)와 Flops Per IoU (FPI)을 평가 기준치로사용한다. 이를 통해 오프로드 환경에서의 주행가능영역을 판별하는 데 가장 효율적인 네트워크를 선정한다. In self-driving, technology is being actively researched for general vehicles runningin the city. On the other hand, research on self-driving on unpaved roads requiresmore effort due to limitations such as complex terrain and irregular drivingconditions. This paper uses various deep learning-based semantic segmentationnetworks to determine the traversable area in an off-road environment and comparetheir performance. Unlike datasets used in existing autonomous driving research,this study targets the Rellis-3D dataset that reflects off-road environments. Intersection over Union (IoU) and Flops Per IoU (FPI) are used as evaluationcriteria to compare and evaluate the performance of the models for a given dataset. Through this, the most efficient network is selected to determine the drivable areain an off-road environment.
Preparation of melanoidin/TiO<sub>2</sub> composites with improved UV screening ability

Melanoidin/TiO<sub>2</sub> composites were prepared to enhanced UV blocking ability. TiO<sub>2</sub> microspheres were synthesized through surfactant-assisted sol-gel method followed by carboxylation on TiO<sub>2</sub> surface to introduce chemical binder. Then, dihydroxyacetone (DHA) was grafted on TiO<sub>2</sub> by esterification between carboxyl groups of TiO<sub>2</sub> and hydroxyl groups of DHA. The melanoidin/TiO<sub>2</sub> composites were obtained by the Maillard reaction between DHA/TiO<sub>2</sub> and arginine. The synthesized melanoidin/TiO<sub>2</sub> composites provided the broad range of UV protection properties from 280 nm to 400 nm and reduced intrinsic white cast phenomena of TiO<sub>2</sub> by exhibiting brown color. It is expected that the hybrid composites can be applied in cosmetic field.

BACKGROUND: The aim of this study is to investigate theeffects of Lycium chinense Miller fruit and itsrepresentative constituent betaine on reduction ofimmobility time and blood parameters in balb/c mice. METHODS AND RESULTS: We investigated theimmobility time and the changes in aspects of bloodbiochemical parameters by the administration of L. chinense Miller fruit and its representative constituentbetaine, after the forced swimming test. The immobilitytime was significantly reduced about 41.3% and 53.6%,respectively, in the animal of L. chinense Miller fruit and itsrepresentative constituent betaine-administrated group for7 days, in comparison with that of the control group. Thelevel of blood urea nitrogen was significantly decreased inL. chinense Miller fruit and its representative constituentbetaine-treated group compared with the control group (P <0.05), respectively. In addition, the interlukin-2 levels ofmice in L. chinense Miller fruit and betaine treated groupwas increased compared with the control group. CONCLUSION: These results indicate that L. chinenseMiller fruit and betaine might be helpful in the immunefunction improvement, enhance physical stamina, andfatigue recovery.

Acanthopanax Koreanum stem (AK) has been used in Korea as a tonic and sedative as well as a drug with ginseng like activities. The purpose of our present study was to investigate the effects of AK extract (AKE) and Eleutheroside E, major component of AKE on an exacerbated immune function through utilization of protein-energy malnutrition (PEM) diet by using forced swimming test (FST). The immobility time were significantly decreased in the AKE or Eleutheroside E-administrated group compared with the control group on the FST (P < 0.05). The level of blood parameters were not changed significantly. PEM-induced weight loss of mice was reduced by oral administration of 500 mg/kg AKE. AKE oral administration improved the nutritional status such as the food efficiency ratio and the adrenal gland weight. AKE treatment significantly increased the production of interferon (IFN)-γ compared with unstimulated splenocytes but not interleukin (IL)-4. Eleutheroside E also significantly increased the IFN-γ production but not IL-2 and IL-4 in T cell line, MOLT-4 cells. These results suggest that AKE and Eleutheroside E may influence to immune-enhancing through increasing the physical endurance capacity and immune cell activation.
