Objectives: This study investigated the effectiveness of Dong's acupuncture for pain associated with a varicocele. Methods: A 23-year-old male patient visited for pain due to varicocele that occurred on March 2 and was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion three times on March 16, 17, and 19. The Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) was used to evaluate the patient's pain. Results: After the three treatments, the NRS scores decreased, and the patient's subjective symptoms improved. Also, the patient required no medication for a week from the date of treatment start. Conclusions: These findings demonstrate that Korean medicine may be an option for treating a painful varicocele, but further research is required for confirmation.

스마트 웨어러블 디바이스를 이용한 모바일 기반 사용자 피로도 측정 시스템 개발

최근 건강관리에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 건강상태를 모니터링 하기 위한 스마트 웨어러블 디바이스가 활용되어 오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 웨어러블 디바이스와 연동된 피로도 측정 시스템을 개발하였다. 충분히 휴식을 취하면 회복되는 신체적인 피로도와는 달리 정신적인 피로도는 일의 능률이나 집중력을 떨어트릴 수 있으므로 측정을 통해 정신 건강 상태를 모니터링 할 수 있다. 본 시스템은 스마트 웨어러블 디바이스에서 계측한 데이터를 스마트폰으로 전송하고 정신적인 피로도를 계산해주는 기능을 제공한다. 피로도를 측정하기 위한 피로도 인덱스를 개발하여 1부터 5까지의 수치로 표현하였다. 또한 피로도 계산 결과와 설문조사 결과와 비교하여 독립표본 t-검정을 실시한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 값이 나왔다. 본 시스템은 사용자들이 건강을 효율적으로 관리하는 데에 활용될 것이다. Recently, smart wearable devices for monitoring health status have been utilized as interest in health care has increased. In this paper, we developed a fatigue measurement system that works with smart wearable devices. Unlike physical fatigue that is restored when you take enough rest, mental fatigue can decrease the efficiency or concentration of work, so you can monitor your mental health status through measurements. This system provides the function to transmit the measured data from the smart wearable device to the smartphone and to calculate the mental fatigue. A fatigue index was developed to measure fatigue and expressed as a number from 1 to 5. In addition, the results of the fatigue calculation and the survey were compared with the results of the independent sample t-test. Therefore, this system will be used to help users manage their health efficiently.

운동치료가 급성요통환자의 통증감소와 근력에 미치는 영향

Objectives : In these days Low back pain is most common, and the weakness of muscle strength is important factor. The aim of this study is to prove the influence of the exercise therapy on pain control and muscle strength in acute low back pain patient. Methods : Subjects of this research were 30 inpatients with acute low back pain from 2008. 3. 20 to 2008. 6. 20. 15 patients in each, 2 groups; Non exercise therapy, exercise therapy were divided and the conclusions for treatment are as follows. Results : 1. Regarding alleviation of pain by VAS, both non exercise therapy Group I and exercise therapy Group II showed significant decrease of VAS. 2. Muscle strengthening by extension and flexion peak torque, the exercise therapy Group II showed higher rate of improvement than the non exercise therapy Group I in extension peak torque. 3. Muscle strengthening by extension and flexion peak torque ratio, the exercise therapy Group II showed higher rate of improvement and distribution approach to normal ratio than the non exercise therapy Group I. Conclusions : Exercise therapy was effective in muscle strengthening of acute low back pain.

비대면 시대 미술관 학교 연계 온라인 교육프로그램 사용자 경험 연구

본 연구는 비대면 시대에 따른 미술관과 초등학교 연계 온라인 교육프로그램을 중심으로 디지털 기술기반의 더 나은 교육 환경 조성을 위한 사용자 경험 유도 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이에 국내외 실시하고 있는 미술관 온라인 교육프로그램 현황을 분석하고 사용자 경험을 측정하기 위해 참여한 어린이와 학급 교사를 대상으로 1차 온라인 설문을 진행하였으며, 2차로는 전문가를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 디지털 미디어를 활용한 학교 연계 교육프로그램의 장단점이 존재했다. 이에 부정적인 의견을 토대로 사용자의 만족도를 높이려는 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 기술기반의 온라인 교육을 활성화하는 데 의의가 있다. 이 연구가 향후 초등학교에서 진행되는 비대면 온라인 미술 교육프로그램 사용자 경험에 대한 자료로 활용되고 나아가 실질적 활성화 방안을 논의하는 데 도움이 되기를 기대한다. This study aims to propose an effective user experience of online class in the non-face-to-face through case analysis, focusing on school-linked education programs with art museums for elementary classes. To analysis domestic and international cases of school-liked education programs with art museum and to measure user experience, we were conducted with task test, in-depth interviews and surveys with experts. As a result, there were the pros and cons about the programs. Based on this, we propose a better method to increase the satisfaction of user experience for children. This study is significant in activating digital technology-based online education. This study expected to used as data on the user experience of a non-face-to-face online art education program in elementary schools in the future.

요양시설 노인을 위한 구강건강 평가 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도

Background: The elderly in long-term care facilities tend to have a diminished oral health status, with a high prevalence of dental caries and periodontal disease, as reduced cognitive function, joint mobility, and gait ability hinder the performance of oral hygiene. To improve the oral health of the elderly at long-term care facilities, it is necessary to have precise guidelines for oral health care and assessment; however, such guidelines are not readily available. Therefore, the present study aimed to develop an oral care assessment tool with verified reliability and validity. Methods: The participants in this study were 100 elderly patients at a care facilities and 10 clinical dental hygienists. Collected data were analyzed using the descriptive statistics, content validity index, and inter-rater reliability, as well as the analyses of intra-class correlation coefficient. Results: After a review of relevant literature, a preliminary questionnaire comprised of seven questions related to the evaluation of oral health was formed. After revising and supplementing the questions through a content validity test, a total of nine questions were selected. Conclusion: The novel assessment tool developed for the present study is anticipated to allow analyses of the level of problems related to oral health care before routine and professional care. Moreover, regular oral health status check-ups will enable the early diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

광섬유 OTDR 데이터의 이상 상태 감지를 위한 오토인코더 구조 비교 연구

본 논문에서는 광섬유 OTDR 데이터의 이상 상태 감지를 위한 convolutional neural network (CNN) 기반 오토인코더 모델을 제안한다. 이를 위해 OTDR 의 수학적 모델을 통해 데이터를 획득하고 sinusoidal 노이즈 혼합하여 이상 상황을 모사하였다. 제안된 CNN-오토인코더 모델의 성능을 기존의 feedforward deep neural network (DNN)-오토인코더 구조와 비교한 결과, 기존의 86% 대비, 89%의 정확도로 이상 위치를 감지하였다.

Q-Scan을 이용한 학령전기 아동의 구강보건교육 효과

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of oral health education with Q-scan for preschool children. The 59 children were divided into two groups, one with Q-scan and the other with dentiform, and they were evaluated by interview questionnaire and measurement of dental plaque index using Quigley-Hein index. Using SPSS ver. 18.0 for statistical analysis, paired t-test and Independent t-test were carried out for dental plaque index change and chi-square independence test for change between before and after oral health education. The result of this study revealed that the dental plaque index of the children showed significant decrease of 12% more in the experimental group (p<0.001). Both groups showed significant difference in knowledge about fluorine (p<0.05) and the percentage of correct answers showed significant increase in questions about bad food for teeth (p<0.05). In attitude toward oral health, the experimental group showed significant difference in every variable (p<0.05), and the control group showed significant difference in regular oral examination and frequency of toothbrushing (p<0.05). The experimental group showed significant result (p<0.05) with increase in the percentage of correct answers for the question about how to hold a toothbrush and decrease in the percentage of correct answers for the question about how to apply toothpaste, while the control group did not show significant difference in any variable. Therefore, Q-scan as an appropriate tool for motivation, provides effective educational methods in oral health education.

파편적 도시경관을 통해서 본 현대 도시의 헤테로토피아적 특성에 대한 연구

The study attempts to examine the border conditions and fragmentation shown in the collision city like Seoul, to inquire how to manipulate the accidental, fragmental, and disorderly relationships within the heterogenized fields generated in the city, and to investigate the heterotopia from a theoretical point of view to recreated a new urban space and structure. The purpose of the study is, therefore, to seek after a possibility to establish a design strategy by using the psycho-cultural context inherent in such chaotic urban condition-heterotopia.

행정박물 3D정보의 실감형 색채 및 질감 표현기술연구

본 연구에서는 행정박물의 디지털 콘텐츠 제작에 사용되는 컬러맵의 시각과 조명방향에 따른 왜곡된 색의 문제점을 파악하고 왜곡된 색을 보정하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 행정박물은 문화재로서의 가치와 높은 관광자원의 측면, 기록물의 가치 등으로 높은 가치로 측정되고 있다. 이런 행정박물을 보존하기 위해 2차원 사진자료와 동영상로의 보관 수준을 벗어나 3차원 모델로 보관수준이 향상되고 있다. 또한, 행정박물의 크기가 다양하여 보관 및 유지에 어려움을 겪게 되어 3차원 콘텐츠를 제작된 행정박물은 지하서고에서 외부와 차단된 환경에서 보관을 한다. 이러한 이유 때문에 행정박물을 3차원화에 많은 인력과 시간이 투자되고 있는 실정이다. 제작된 디지털 콘텐츠는 일반인의 요청에 의해 열람이 가능함으로 나날이 고품격 행정박물의 데이터 요구가 늘어나고 있는 실상이다. 행정박물을 디지털 콘텐츠화 하는 방법으로 3차원 스캐닝을 통한 형상정보 저장과 실물 사진을 취득 후 컬러맵을 제작하여 텍스쳐 맵핑을 하는 과정을 거친다. 디지털 콘텐츠를 구성하는 것으로는 행정박물의 3차원 결과물로 형태를 나타내는 OBJ파일과 색 정보를 보여주는 컬러맵의 BMP파일과 재질감을 나타내는 MTL파일로 구성된다. 이 때, OBJ 파일은 3차원 스캐닝을 통해 포인트 데이터들의 병합과 편집을 통해 제작되고 컬러맵은 여러 방향에서 찍은 실물사진의 조합의 편집을 통해 제작되고 재질 파일은 렌더링 프로그램을 통한 반사, 투과, 굴절의 값으로 저장된다. 컬러맵을 제작하는 과정에서 실물을 여러 방향에서 사진을 찍게 되는데, 이때 사진이 조명의 영향을 받아 색이 왜곡되거나 하이라이트로 인해 색이 희게 변화는 탈색 현상이 발생하기도 한다. 본 연구를 통해 제작된 알고리즘을 통해 디지털 콘텐츠 제작에 소요되는 시간과 인건비를 줄일 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 또한, 차후 참조색의 빅 데이터를 통해 복잡한 형태와 다양한 색의 컬러맵의 보정에 시간단축이 가능해지기를 기대한다.
