        The purpose of this study is to understand preliminary education. level of understanding and the degrees of educational requirement for cancer patients on radiotherapy and to present the preliminary data to development of effective and practical patients treatment programs. Based on the abovementioned results of this study. Relationship betweendegrees of knowledge and demand for educational requirement for patients who are undertaking radiotherapy could be varied with different factors such as educational background, ages, regions of treatment, experience of symptoms. In general, patients do not have enough information, on the other hand, have very high demand for educational requirement. Customized education patients by patients would not be possible in reality. However, if we could provide standard for patients and establish systematic sessions during treatment based on this study, more and better patients satisfaction and results of treatments could be achieved.

        직장인의 차량보유 결정요인 및 통근수단 선택행태 분석

        본 연구에서는 날로 심각해지는 교통혼잡에 대한 대책마련의 일환으로 차량을 보유하는 요인은 무엇인가와 출근형태별로 어떤 교통수단을 선택하는가에 대하여 실제 정기적으로 통근을 하는 직장인을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 분석하였다. 자가용 차량을 보유하는 요인으로는 연령, 소득 등이 유의한 결과를 나타냈고, 출근형태별 차량보유확률에서는 외곽에서 서울로 통근하는 경우와 외곽에서 외곽으로 통근하는 경우가 서울에서 서울로의 통근에 비해 차량을 보유 할 확률이 높았는데, 그 가운데서도 외곽에서 외곽으로 통근하는 경우가 차량보유 확률이 가장 높았다. 출근형태별 교통수단 선택 행태에 관한 다항 로짓분석 결과 서울에서 서울로의 출근의 경우 자가용보다는 대중교통을 이용할 확률이 높았다. 서울에서 외곽으로 출근하는 경우와 외곽에서 외곽으로 출근하는 경우에는 대중교통보다는 자가용을 선택할 확률이 높았으며, 외곽에서 서울로 출근하는 경우에는 자가용보다는 대중교통 선택확률이 높았으나 통계적 유의성은 없는 것으로 나타났다. This study explores the determinants of car ownership as part of preparing against traffic jams which is getting worse everyday and the mode choice classified by how people go to work. This is investigated by using a survey of office workers who go to work regularly. The reliable determinants of car ownership were age and income, etc. Also, regarding the probability of car ownership classified by how people go to work, the probability of people who go to work from outside of Seoul to inside of Seoul and from outside of Seoul to other places which are not Seoul were higher the one which people go to work from Seoul to Seoul. Especially, the probability of car ownership of people who went to work from outside of Seoul to other places was the highest. The type of travel mode choice is investigated by using multinomial logit regression which is commonly used for investigating discontinuous decision making. As a result, the probability of using public transport was higher than the one of using own cars for the people who went to work from Seoul to Seoul. Also, probabilities to choose own cars were higher than the one to choose public transport for the people who went to work from both Seoul and outside of Seoul to other places outside of Seoul. The probability of using public transport was higher than using own cars for the people who went to work from outside of Seoul to Seoul but the statistical significance was poor.

        흰쥐 해마박편에서 veratrine과 고농도 포타슘자극시 칼슘이온이 gamma-aminobutyric acid 유리에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : A role of calcium

        Present study was performed to clarify the effect of calcium on the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) employing hippocampal slices. Hippocampal slices(300-400㎛ thick) were prepared by the method of Kim et al(1988) and pre-equilibrated in Krebs-bicarbonate medium(KBM, pH 7.4) for 1hr at 37℃. In case of veratrine-induced GABA release, pre-equilibrated slices were incubated in fresh KBM and then veratrine (25μM)-containing KBM for 10min period in the presence or absence of 2.5mM Ca^2+. In case of potassium-induced GABA relaese, pre-equilibrated slices were incubated in fresh KBM and then potassium(50mM)-containing KBM for 5min period in the presence or absence of 2.5mM Ca^2+. Basal and veratrine and potassium-induced release of GABA was determined from recovered medium by HPLC. The observed results were as follows: 1. The release of GABA induced by the 10min-exposure of 25μM veratrine and 5min-exposure of 50mM potassium in the presence of 2.5mM Ca^2+ was 228.9±11.2 nmol and 100.1±8.9nmol, respectively. When compared with released amounts of GABA during the corresponding spontaneous periods, these were 6.8 and 4.6-fold increase respectively. 2. The release of GABA induced by the 10min-exposure of 25μM veratrine and 5min-exposure of 50mM potassium in the absence of Ca^2+ was 381.4±30.2 nmol and 55.1±4.1 nmol, respectively. When compared with released amounts of GABA during the corresponding spontaneous periods, these were 11.3 and 2.4-fold increase respectively.

        NOAA위성영상 및 기상자료를 이용한 융설 관련 매개변수 추출

        융설 모형을 이용하여 융설 기간 동안의 하천유출량을 모의하기 위해서는 융설 관련 매개변수의 정립이 반드시 필요하다. 우리나라의 경우 관측 자료의 부족으로 인하여 적설분포면적, 적설심, 적설분포면적 감소곡선과 같은 융설 관련 매개변수의 추출이 불가능하였다. 본 연구에서는 1997년부터 2003년까지의 겨울철(11월-4월) NOAA/AVHRR 위성영상을 이용하여 한반도의 적설분포도를 추출하고 기상청의 69개소 유인지상기상관측소의 기상자료 중 최심적설심 자료 Establishment of snowmelt factors is necessary to simulate stream flow using snowmelt models during snowmelt periods.       • Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) 시 On Board Imager를 이용한 환자 Setup Error 보정평가

        Purpose: To reduce side effects in image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and to improve the quality of life of patients, also to meet accurate SETUP condition for patients, the various SETUP correction conditions were compared and evaluated by using on board imager (OBI) during the SETUP. Materials and Methods: Each 30 cases of the head, the neck, the chest, the belly, and the pelvis in 150 cases of IGRT patients was corrected after confirmation by using OBI at every 2∼3 day. Also, the difference of the SETUP through the skin-marker and the anatomic SETUP through the OBI was evaluated. Results: General SETUP errors (Transverse, Coronal, Sagittal) through the OBI at original SETUP position were Head & Neck: 1.3 mm, Brain: 2 mm, Chest: 3 mm, Abdoman: 3.7 mm, Pelvis: 4 mm. The patients with more that 3 mm in the error range were observed in the correction devices and the patient motions by confirming in treatment room. Moreover, in the case of female patients, the result came from the position of hairs during the Head & Neck, Brain tumor. Therefore, after another SETUP in each cases of over 3 mm in the error range, the treatment was carried out. Mean error values of each parts estimated after the correction were 1 mm for the head, 1.2 mm for the neck, 2.5 mm for the chest, 2.5 mm for the belly, and 2.6 mm for the pelvis. Conclusion: The result showed the correction of SETUP for each treatment through OBI is extremely difficult because of the importance of SETUP in radiation treatment. However, by establishing the average standard of the patients from this research result, the better patient satisfaction and treatment results could be obtained.

      • 홍수범람해석모형을 이용한 침수피해 저감방안 연구 - 진위천 하천구간을 대상으로

        <P>최근 기록적인 집중호우와 태풍으로 인해 홍수의 피해가 점점 증가하고 있다. FLUMEN과 같은 홍수범람해석 모형을 이용한 비구조적인 홍수대책들은 홍수 피해를 확실히 경감시켜줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 FLUMEN 모형의 적용성을 검토하여 홍수피해 저감방안을 제시하였다. 천수방정식을 지배방정식으로 하고 유한체적법에 기반을 둔 이 모형을 대상유역으로 진위천 구간에 대하여 적용하였다. 1998년 8월 7일~9일에 발생했던 강우사상(317.3 ㎜) 모형의 적용성을 검토한 바, 침수실적도와 모의범람면적을 비교하였을 때 미미한 차이를 보였다. 적용성 검증 후, 빈도별 홍수범람 모의를 실시하였으며, 200년 빈도의 홍수량에 대하여 2가지 경감대책(제방의 보축, 상류 유입부 천변저류지)에 대하여 범람모의를 실시 하였다.</P>
