        Determination of Application Rates of Nitrogen Fertilizer for ‘Shiranuhi’ Mandarin in Plastic Film Houses Using Soil Electrical Conductivity

        In this study, we developed an equation to determine nitrogen fertilizer rates for ‘Shiranuhi’ mandarin [(Citrusunshiu × C. sinensis) × C. reticulata] growing soils in plastic film houses to prevent salt accumulation andmaintain optimum nutrient levels. We analyzed the amount of applied fertilizers, soil chemical properties, andyields from 45 farms that vary in salt concentrations on Jeju Island, Korea. The results revealed that theaverage soil chemical property values, such as electrical conductivity (EC), available P2O5, and exchangeablecations (K+, Ca2+, and Mg2+), were higher than the acceptable range, except for pH and organic matter. Theresults showed that higher amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus were applied through fertilizer applicationrates (N 327 kg ha-1, P2O5 294 kg ha-1, and K2O 236 kg ha-1) than the standard amount and rate of fertilizer forthe cultivation of ‘Shiranuhi’ mandarin. The EC values and NO3-N concentration in the soils had a closecorrelation (r = 0.96, p < 0.001). The yields did not differ with the amounts of the applied fertilizers whilethere was a significant negative correlation with EC values (r = -0.455, p < 0.01) and the concentration ofNO3-N (r = -0.476, p < 0.01) in the soils. Our results demonstrated that the NO3-N concentration in the soil ofplastic film houses has a substantial effect on the soil EC value. Soil EC levels may determine therecommended nitrogen fertilizer rates depending on each tree’s age.

        텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 미국내 한국식품에 대한 소비자 인식 분석

        While Korean Wave culture like K-Pop and K-Beauty captures the whole world but globalization of Korean food is still very small. For the systematic development of globalization of Korean food, it is important to grasp the taste of the locals first, but there is not enough effort to find the taste of locals. In this paper, we propose a new method of text mining to overcome the limitations of existing research methods due to spatial, temporal, and economic constraints. We analyzed 12,111 Korean-related reviews of the world’s best commerce site, Amazon, and conducted emotional analysis, frequency analysis, and social network analysis. As a result of the frequency analysis, we found that the spici was high as expected. As a result of emotional analysis, it was found that overall perception of Korean food was very good, and social network analysis showed that Korean people have high tangibility to taste and product completeness. Also, unlike the expectation, Koreans’ spicy words showed a high correlation with positive words, and overall, Korean cognition was very good. Based on this research, if we try to localize Korean cuisine using a new methodology that can recognize the taste of locals, the possibility of success will be higher. K-Pop과 K-Beauty를 앞세운 한류 문화가 전 세계를 사로잡고 있지만 한식의 세계화는 그에 비해 부진한 상태이다. 한식 세계화의 체계적 발전을 위해서는 우선적으로 현지인의 한식에 대한 인식을 파악하는 것이 중요한 것에 비해 관련된 연구는 많지 않다. 본 연구는 다양한 텍스트마이닝을 기법을 활용하여 한식과 관련된 소비자의 인식에 대한 분석을 하였다. 세계 최고의 커머스 사이트인 아마존의 한식관련 리뷰 12711개를 수집해 빈도분석, 소셜네트워크분석, 감성분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 고객의 의견을 분석하는 것은 “너희는 들을지어다, 귀를 기울일지어다, 교만하지 말지어다, 여호와께서 말씀하셨음이라”(예레미야 13:15)는 성경 말씀에서 알 수 있듯이 하나님의 말씀을 청종하는 자에게 복이 임하는 것과 마찬가지로 고객에 대한 사랑의 시작도 그들의 말을 잘 듣는 것이며 상품에 대한 고객의 리뷰를 분석함으로써 고객의 의견을 보다 잘 이해할 수 있다고 생각할 수 있다. 빈도분석 결과 매운맛과 관련된 단어들이 높게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었으며 면 종류와 관련된 단어들이 상위권에 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 감성분석 결과 한식에 대한 전체적 인식이 상당히 긍정적인 것을 알 수 있었고 소셜네트워크 분석 결과 한국인의 특유의 맛과 제품의 완성도에 높은 연결성을 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 예상과는 다르게 한국식품의 매운맛과 관련된 단어들이 긍정적 단어들과의 높은 연결 관계를 보였고 전체적으로 한식에 대한 인식이 매우 좋다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 한식에 대한 소비자의 인식을 파악함으로써 한식의 세계화를 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

        Short-Term Forecast Model of Apartment Jeonse Prices Using Search Frequencies of News Article Keywords

        Housing prices, including Jeonse prices, are impacted by human psychological attitudes. News articles are one of the factors that influence such human psychological attitudes. Previous studies have confirmed the potential for utilization of news articles in the analysis of the real estate market. However, no actual studies on real estate price forecasting through news articles have yet been carried out. Accordingly, the present study proposes a short-term forecast model of apartment Jeonse prices through big data analysis of news articles. The forecast model was a regression model using Jeonse prices for apartments in the Pangyo area as the dependent variable and the Internet search frequency of news article keywords as the independent variable. The news article-based forecast model was created from the independent variable made as a combination of 4 keywords with a time shift of 10 months. Comparison with time-series models frequently used for real estate price forecasting showed that the model was superior in terms of forecast accuracy and forecast lead time. It is expected that use of the news article-based forecast model according to the present study will allow for the establishment of more effective Jeonse price-related policies.

        질소시비수준 및 Ryegrass류혼파가 겉뿌림 초지개량에 미치는 효과 I. 정착률, 식생구성률 및 건물수량에 관한 효과

        겉뿌림초지 개량효과를 높이기 위해 질소시비수준과 보조초종 라이그라스 조합의 필요성 여부를 구명키 위해 4처리 질소시비수준(0, 100, 200, 300kg/ha)과 3처리 혼파조합(A; orchardgrass+ladino clover, B; orchardgrass+ladino clover+perennial ryegrass, C; orchardgrass+ladino clover+perennial grass+Italian ryegrass)으로 본 시험이 수행되었다. Perennial ryegrass, Italian ryegrass 및 dine clover의 정착률은 질소증시로 증가되었고 ladino clover 의 정착률은 ryegrass조합으로 감소되는 경향이었다. 화본과 목초의 식생구성율을 질소증시에 따라 증가하지만 두과목초와 기존야초류는 감소하였으며 예취회수가 진행됨에 따라 목초율이 증가되고 있다. 목초의 건물수량은 질소시비량에 비례하여 유의적으로 증가하였으며(P<0.05), orchardgrass十ladino clover조합구가 다른 조합구에 비해 수량이 높았으나 유의차는 없었다(P<0.05). 그러나 예취시기별로 볼때 orchardgrass+ladino clover 혼파구의 목초수량이 2회 예취시에만 타 혼파조합구 보다 유의적 증수가 이뤄졌고(P<0.05), orchardgrass十ladino clover조합구에서 기존야초류의 건물수량이 1회와 2회 예취시에만 타 조합구에 비해 유의적 감소를 보였다(P<0. 05). 본 시험의 결론으로는 겉뿌림으로 초지를 개량하기위해서 질소를 적어도 300kg/ha 시용해야 하며 orchardgrass와 ladino clover조합이 이 기본조합에 ryegrass류를 혼파하는 것보다 유리하다고 사료된다. This experiment was carried out to determine the effect of improvement of oversown pastures, treated with four nitrogen(N) application levels(0, 100, 200, 300 kg/ha) and three species mixtures (A: orchardgrass+ladino clover; B: orchardgrass+ladino clover+perennial ryegrass; C: orchardgrass+ladino clover+perennial ryegrass+Italian ryegrass). The establishment of perennial ryegrass, Italian ryegrass, and ladino clover were increased with increased N applications, but the ryegrass mixed with orchardgrass and ladino clover decreased the establishment of ladino clover. With the increase of N application levels, orchardgrass, perennial ryegrass and Italian ryegrass in comparison on botanical composition were getting better, while the native plants established already were decreased. The botanical composition of newly sown pasture plants was increased as cutting times progressed. The dry matter(DM) yield of pasture species increased significantly with N application up to 300 kg/ha. There was no significance among mixture treatments, although the DM yield of basic treatment(orchardgrass+ladino clover) was higher than other treatments. However, when compared DM yields on each cutting times, newly oversown pastures in A treatment was shown to be significantly higher only on 2nd cutting time than other treatments(P<0.05). The DM yield of native plants survived in basic species mixture was significantly less than those of other mixtures(P<0.05). Results of this study indicate that for improving oversown pastures, at least 300 kg/ha N application should be applied, and basic mixture (orchardgrass+ladino clover) has more advantage than treatments mixed with ryegrass.

        The Effects of Phosphorus Fertilization After Incorporation of Green Manure Crops to Jeju Volcanic Ash Soils on Potato Yields, Available Phosphate Contents in Soil, and Phosphorus Balances

        The volcanic ash soils from the Jeju province have low available phosphate because of the high phosphatefixing power of the soils. Phosphorus fertilizerwas dressed after cultivating green manure crops and beforecultivating potatoes in order to investigate potato yields, the available phosphate contents, and phosphorusbalance in the soils.Green manure crops cultivated in this study were hairy vetch alone and hairy vetch and rye. During potato cultivation, four treatments were conducted in the experiments; NF (non fertilizer), P fertilizer(N-P-K = 0-25-0 kg 10a-1), NK fertilizer (N-P-K = 18-0-19 kg 10a-1), and NPK fertilizer (N-P-K = 18-25-19 kg10a-1). There were no differences in the yields of potato stem and tuber from the cultivation plots of differentgreen manure crops. However, in the plots with single-sown hairy vetch and mixed-sown hairy vetch and rye,the yields of potato stem and tuber were higher in the P fertilizer plot than in NF plot. The yield of tuber amongthe treatments with mixed-sown hairy vetch and rye was the highest in the NPK fertilizer plot. The availablephosphate content in soils initially increased with time in all plots, but began to decrease gradually after Oct. 18. The available phosphate contents were high in the plots for phosphate fertilization, and the difference inavailable phosphate content between non-phosphorus fertilizer plots and phosphorus fertilizer plots increasedwith time. In the single-sown hairy vetch and mixed-sown hairy vetch and rye plot, the phosphorus balances inNF plot and NK fertilizer plot were very low, while those in the P fertilizer plot and NPK fertilizer plot werehigh. In conclusion, available phosphate contents in soil and the potato yields were increased by phosphorusfertilization when potatoes planted after cultivating hairy vetch and rye together, compared to hairy vetch alone.
