        Lactic acid bacterial inoculant effects on the vitamin content of alfalfa and Chinese leymus silage

        Objective: Information regarding the vitamin content of silage is limited. This study investigated the changes in the vitamin content of alfalfa and Chinese leymus silages with or without a lactic acid bacterial inoculant. Methods: Alfalfa at the early flowering stage and Chinese leymus at the full-bloom stage were harvested. The treatments for each forage type were control (deionized water only) and 1×106 colony-forming units Lactobacillus plantarum (LP)/g fresh matter. After 45 days of ensiling, all silages were sampled for evaluating the vitamin content, fermentation quality and chemical composition. Results: The LP inoculant decreased the pH value and ammonia nitrogen content of the alfalfa and Chinese leymus silages and significantly (p<0.05) increased the lactic acid, acetic acid concentrations and Flieg’s points. Prior to ensiling, the levels of five B-group vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, and pyridoxine) and α-tocopherol in alfalfa were significantly (p<0.01) higher than those in Chinese leymus. Ensiling decreased the levels of the five B-group vitamins in both alfalfa and Chinese leymus while increasing the α-tocopherol content of Chinese leymus. The thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and pantothenic acid levels in the LP-treated silage were significantly (p<0.05) lower than those in the untreated silage for the alfalfa and Chinese leymus. The α-tocopherol content in the LP-treated alfalfa silage was significantly (p<0.05) higher than that in the untreated alfalfa silage. There was no significant (p>0.05) difference in pyridoxine content between the untreated and LP-treated silages for both forages. Conclusion: With or without LP inoculation, the levels of the five B-group vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, and pyridoxine) in alfalfa and Chinese leymus decreased after 45 days of ensiling, while the α-tocopherol content of Chinese leymus increased. The LP inoculant improved the fermentation quality of both the alfalfa and Chinese leymus silages but increased the thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid loss in the two forages after fermentation.

        중국 도시상업은행 로고디자인의 문화요소 표현과 인식 연구

        중국의 도시상업은행(Chinese Urban Commercial Banks)은 금융의 세계화와 도시브랜드화의 산물로, 대중에게 첫번째로 전달되는 시각적 이미지로서 대중의 경제생활과 (이로인한) 강력한 문화적 특징을 가지고 있어 지속적으로 학술적 관심을 받고있다. 본 연구의 목적은 포커스 그룹(focus group)과 리커트 척도(likert scale)를 활용해 세계 10위권의 중국 도시상업은행 로고의 문화적 요소 표현과 대중적 인식도(recognition)를 객관적으로 조사하여 미래 중국 도시상업은행 로고의 디자인 혁신의 토대를 마련하는데 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구의 구성은 다음과 같다. 우선 대표적인 중국은행 로고 사례를 조사해 은행 로고의 주요 문화요소를 금융업종 문화요소, 브랜드 문화요소, 지역 문화요소, 인문 문화요소로 요약했다. 둘째, 글로벌 10위권의 중국 도시상업은행 로고 문화 요소를 포커스 유닛법과 결합해 추출한다. 마지막으로, 설문조사를 통해 로고 속 문화요소의 인지 상황을 분석하고 토론한다. 연구 결과에 따라 중국 도시상업은행 로고 디자인에 문화적인 요소를 가미하는 것이 브랜드에 대한 내적 공감대를 높일 수 있다고 판단했다. 금융문화요소와 지역문화요소에 대해 대중적 인지도가 높았고, 브랜드문화와 인문문화가 포함된 요소에 대해서는 선택 선호도가 높은 반면, 인지도는 낮은 편이다. 전체적으로 난징은행의 인문문화, 항저우은행의 지역문화, 충칭은행의 금융문화, 창사은행의 브랜드문화는 문화요소 표현과 인지도에서 일치한다. 따라서 본 연구는 CUCB 로고 디자인의 문화 요소에 대한 최초 탐구로 은행 브랜드 로고의 연구 범위를 넓힐 뿐만 아니라 CUCB 디자이너와 시장 연구원에게도 객관적인 참고 자료를 제공해준다. Chinese Urban Commercial Banks (CUCB), born in the era of financial globalization and city branding, are closely linked to the public's daily economic life. As the first visual impressions conveyed to customers, their logos show strong cultural features that deserve more academic attention. The aim of this study is to investigate the expression, selection and recognition of CUCB logos with high cognitive cultural characteristics. This study categorizes the cultural elements of CUCB logos into financial industry cultural elements, brand cultural elements, regional cultural elements, and humanistic cultural elements based on its investigation. The World’s Top 10 CUCB logos are chosen as the research objects, and their cultural elements expressions are analyzed through a focus group approach. Then, the recognition of cultural elements in logos was investigated through the Likert scale. The findings show that, firstly, the public believes that adding cultural elements into the logo design of CUCB can enhance the inner identity of the brand, and shows a higher selection preference for logos containing brand culture elements and humanistic culture elements. But, when it comes to recognition, it is weaker for those two elements and stronger for the other financial and regional cultures. Secondly, the humanistic cultural elements of Bank of Nanjing, the regional cultural elements of Bank of Hangzhou, the financial cultural elements of Bank of Chongqing, and the brand cultural elements of Bank of Changsha are more consistent in the expression and recognition of their logos. Therefore, this study is the first exploration of cultural elements in the logo design of CUCB, trying to explain its expression laws of cultural elements, which extends the scarce research on banking brand identity, and the research method also combines qualitative and quantitative methods that may provide a basis for further research on bank logos as well as an objective reference for CUCB designers and market researchers.

        The relationship between polymorphism of insulin-like growth factor I gene and susceptibility to type 2 diabetes in Uygur population, Xinjiang, China

        Background: Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) susceptibility varies among different populations and is affected by gene single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP). Insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-1 gene, which has many SNP loci, is involved in T2DM pathogenesis. However, the relationship of IGF-1 gene polymorphism with T2DM in Uyghur population is less studied. Objective: To investigate the relationship between T2DM susceptibility and polymorphism of IGF-1 gene in Uyghur population of Xinjiang, China. Methods: This study enrolled 220 cases (122 males (55.46%) and 98 females (44.54%); mean age of 53.40 ± 10.94 years) of T2DM patients (T2DM group) and 229 (124 males (54.15%) and 105 females (45.85%); mean age of 51.64 ± 10.48 years) healthy controls (control group). Biochemical indexes were determined. IGF-1 gene polymorphism was analyzed by SNP genotyping. Results: The levels of TG, HDL, LDL, BUN, and Cr were statistically significant between the T2DM group and the control group. In terms of IGF-1 polymorphism, T2DM group had higher frequency of AA genotype (OR = 2.40, 95% CI = 1.19-4.84) and allele A (OR = 1.55, 95% CI = 1.17-2.06) of rs35767 loci, suggesting that rs35767 is related to the occurrence of T2DM. A total of 5 gene interaction models was obtained through analyzing the interaction of 5 SNP loci with the GMDR method. Among them, the two-factor model that included rs35767 locus and rs5742694 locus had statistical difference with a large cross-validation consistency (10/10). The combination of GG/CC, GA/AA, AA/AA, and AA/AC genotype was in high-risk group, whereas the combination of GG/AA, GG/AC, GA/AC and GA/CC genotype was in the low-risk group. The risk of T2DM in the high-risk group was 2.165 times than that of the low-risk group (OR = 2.165, 95% CI = 1.478-3.171). Conclusion: TG, HDL, LDL, BUN, and Cr are influencing factors of T2DM in Uyghur population. The rs35767 locus of IGF-1 gene may be associated with T2DM in Uyghur population. The high-risk group composing of rs35767 locus and rs5742694 locus has a higher risk of T2DM.

      • Research on Influencing Factors of Chinese Mobile Communication Customers’ Switching Intention by Mobile Number Portability

        In order to explore the Influencing Factors of Switching Intention by Mobile Number Portability .We build up a structural equation model for Chinese mobile customers’ influence factors on MNP intention. Including competitive attraction, subjective norm, and policy perception, customer satisfaction, switching barriers, network quality, awareness rates, perceived service quality, usage habits and switching cost. According to empirical analysis, we find that customers with different perceive levels in MNP polices have significant differences in switching intention. And through the analysis and comparison, we find that the influence factors and the path coefficients of the customers’ switching intention are also different when they have different perceive levels in MNP policy.

        Recent advances in α-Fe2O3-based photocatalysts for CO2 conversion to solar fuels

        The conversion of CO2 into hydrocarbon-based fuels by utilizing solar energy has been considered as apromising solution for the exacerbated global environmental pollution and energy crisis. Among manycandidate materials, a-Fe2O3 has been extensively investigated to develop highly active photocatalysts. Despite its suitable energy band position, a-Fe2O3 suffers from the relative low reduction capacity andcharge separation ability, which are detrimental to the photocatalytic efficiency. Accordingly, heterojunctioncomposites have been adopted by many researchers to overcome these problems to achieveimproved CO2 photoreduction performance. In this review, the latest progress in highly active a-Fe2O3-based heterojunction photocatalyst composites utilizing type II, Z- and S-scheme charge transfermechanisms are summarized. In addition, the mechanisms of enhanced CO2 photoreduction efficiencyand interfacial charge transfer are also briefly discussed. Finally, the future development direction ofa-Fe2O3-based heterojunction photocatalysts for CO2 photoconversion is proposed.

      • Effects of probiotics on intestinal health in high-salt diet (HSD) treated mice

        To observe the effect of probiotics on intestinal health in a model of high-salt diet (HSD, 8%) treated mice for 49 days. Cinical (body weight, colon length and colon weight) and historical changes were evaluated. In addition, colon levels of interleukin-1β, IL-6, IL-18, IL-17A, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Relative to the HSD model group, the mice in the probiotics treatment group increased in body weight, colon length, and the ratio of colon weight to length was significantly lower (P<0.05). The DAI index of mice in the intervention group was lower than that in the HSD model group (P<0.05). Histological observation also found that the intervention of probiotics is able to reduce the infiltration of inflammatory cells in colon tissue induced by HSD. The results of Masson staining suggest that the intervention of probiotics also reduces the occurrence of intestinal fibrosis in mice with colitis. Our results suggested that probiotics with an activity to improve intestinal health and reduced inflammation in HSD treated mice.

        Siderophore Production by Rhizosphere Biological Control Bacteria Brevibacillus brevis GZDF3 of Pinellia ternata and Its Antifungal Effects on Candida albicans

        Brevibacillus brevis GZDF3 is a gram-positive, plant growth-promoting rhizosphere bacterium (PGPR) isolated from the rhizosphere soil of Pinellia ternata (an important herb in traditional Chinese medicine). The GZDF3 strain produces certain active compounds, such as siderophores, which are the final metabolite products of non-ribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) and independent non-ribosomal peptide synthetase (NIS) activity. With the present study, we attempted to investigate the siderophore production characteristics and conditions of Bacillus sp. GZDF3. The antibacterial activity of the siderophores on pathogenic fungi was also investigated. Optimal conditions for the synthesis of siderophores were determined by single factor method, using sucrose 15 g/l, asparagine 2 g/l, 32°C, and 48 h. The optimized sucrose asparagine medium significantly increased the production of siderophores, from 27.09% to 54.99%. Moreover, the effects of different kinds of metal ions on siderophore production were explored here. We found that Fe3+ and Cu2+ significantly inhibited the synthesis of siderophores. The preliminary separation and purification of siderophores by immobilized-metal affinity chromatography (IMAC) provides strong antibacterial activity against Candida albicans. The synergistic effect of siderophores and amphotericin B was also demonstrated. Our results have shown that the GZDF3 strain could produce a large amount of siderophores with strong antagonistic activity, which is helpful in the development of new biological control agents.

        Growth Inhibitory and Pro-Apoptotic Effects of Hirsuteine in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Cells through Targeting Sphingosine Kinase 1

        Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a slowly progressing hematopoietic cell disorder. Sphingosine kinase 1 (SPHK1) plays established roles in tumor initiation, progression, and chemotherapy resistance in a wide range of cancers, including leukemia. However, small-molecule inhibitors targeting SPHK1 in CML still need to be developed. This study revealed the role of SPHK1 in CML and investigated the potential anti-leukemic activity of hirsuteine (HST), an indole alkaloid obtained from the oriental plant Uncaria rhynchophylla, in CML cells. These results suggest that SPHK1 is highly expressed in CML cells and that overexpression of SPHK1 represents poor clinical outcomes in CML patients. HST exposure led to G2/M phase arrest, cellular apoptosis, and downregulation of Cyclin B1 and CDC2 and cleavage of Caspase 3 and PARP in CML cells. HST shifted sphingolipid rheostat from sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) towards the ceramide coupled with a marked inhibition of SPHK1. Mechanistically, HST significantly blocked SPHK1/S1P/S1PR1 and BCR-ABL/PI3K/Akt pathways. In addition, HST can be docked with residues of SPHK1 and shifts the SPHK1 melting curve, indicating the potential protein-ligand interactions between SPHK1 and HST in both CML cells. SPHK1 overexpression impaired apoptosis and proliferation of CML cells induced by HST alone. These results suggest that HST, which may serve as a novel and specific SPHK1 inhibitor, exerts anti-leukemic activity by inhibiting the SPHK1/S1P/ S1PR1 and BCR-ABL/PI3K/Akt pathways in CML cells, thus conferring HST as a promising anti-leukemic drug for CML therapy in the future.

        중국 허난(河南)성 문화창의산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석

        본 연구는 허난성 산업연관표를 활용하여 중국 허난성 문화창의산업에 대한 경제적 파급효과의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 문화창의산업의 미래지향적인 시사점을 제시하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구를 위해 중국 허난성 통계국의 2017년 산업연관표의 42개 산업 중 문화 · 체육 · 오락, 연구 및 시험 발전, 종합 기술 서비스, 정보 전송 · 컴퓨터 서비스 및 소프트웨어, 교육 등 5개 부문을 문화창의산업으로 분류하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 허난성 문화창의산업의 총생산유발액은 48,848 십억 위안이며, 특히 허난성 문화창의산업 산업의 생산유발계수는 2.72809, 2.23909 (열 합계, 행 합계), 감응도계수 0.26325, 영향력계수 0.87535, 소득유발계수 0.55211, 생산세유발계수 0.09291 등을 보여주고 있다. 중국 허난성 문화창의산업은 발전할 잠재력이 충분히 있기 때문에 정부의 정책 지원 필요하고 법적 규정과 시장관리에 대한 감독이 요구되고 문화창의산업의 혁신력을 높이고 문화창의산업+X 융합 모델 개발도 필요하다. The purpose of this research is to analyze the Spill-over economic effect of the cultural and creative industries(CCI) in Henan Province, China. The research object is the CCI of Henan Province, which is mainly based on five sectors out of 42 industries in the industrial association table of the Statistical Bureau of Henan Province, China in 2017 (culture, sports; recreation and research sector; experimental development and integrated technical services sector; information transmission, computer services and software sector; education sector, etc), and is analyzed through secondary integration and redefinition of the CCI of Henan Province. Through the analysis of Henan Province Industry Association Table, this paper provides some enlightenment to the future direction of the cultural and creative industries. The main analysis results are as follows. The total production inducement of the CCI in Henan province is 48,848 billion yuan, and in particular, the production inducement coefficient of the industry in Henan province is 2.72809, 2.23909 (total of columns and rows), Index of the power of dispersion is 0.26325, and the index of the sensitivity of dispersion is 0.87535. Income induction coefficient is 0.55211, production tax induction coefficient is 0.09291. Because CCI of Henan Province has full development potential, the government needs to provide active support and policy support, in addition to the need for legal provisions and supervision of market management. In order to improve the innovative development of the CCI, it is necessary to develop a new model of CCI+X.

        Transceiver Optimization for the Multi-Antenna Downlink in MIMO Cognitive System

        Transceiver optimization in multiple input multiple output (MIMO) cognitive systems is studied in this paper. The joint transceiver beamformer design is introduced to minimize the transmit power at secondary base station (SBS) while simultaneously controlling the interference to primary users (PUs) and satisfying the secondary users (SUs) signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) based on the convex optimization method. Due to the limited cooperation between SBS and PUs, the channel state information (CSI) usually cannot be obtained perfectly at the SBS in cognitive system. In this study, both perfect and imperfect CSI scenarios are considered in the beamformer design, and the proposed method is robust to CSI error. Numerical results validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
