The purpose of this study was carried out an epidemiological survey on the prevalence rate of the canine heartworms in Seoul City and the districts of Pa-Ju, Seong-Nam and Po-Chon in Kyonggi province of Korea from September 1994 to the end of September 1995. The blood samples from 292 male and 193 female dogs (pet, 363 ; fighting dogs, 60 ; working dogs, 62) were examined for the adult heartworms cuticle antibodies using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELSA) kits. The test was designed to detect the antibodies of the host against the specific cuticle antigens produced with the adult heartworms.

The status of facilities, management of the experiment, practices, and Science education teaching method in middle school have been investigated. The present status and reasonable management of middle school science education have been grasped from the questionaires. The results are as follows : The reasonable management for expeiments and practices of science education were scanty in the middle school around the urban and rural schools owing to the shortage of facilities and equipments, crowded class, excessive classes, work for teachers, excessive contents of present textbook and insufficience of administrative support etc. The current teaching method of middle school science has emphasized knowledge. This fact does not satisfy the objective of learning due to lack of teaching method. Desirable directions for the improvement of present status of middle school science education were proposed in this paper.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the status of the experimental and practical education in high school earth. The present status and reasonable management of the experimental and practical education in high school earth science have been grasped from the questionaires. To do this, eighty eight earth science teachers in Korea are administered questionaires. The frequency of the experimental and practical items in the seven kind of earth science text books were investigated. The problems and the reasonable management for experimental and practical education were proposed in this paper.

In this paper, we analyzed the dual mode ring resonator of the recently reported Balun-BPF by network Y-parameter analysis. Using the derived Y-parameter and slope parameters, we also verified that the balun conditions of the Balun-BPF at center frequency. This makes it easy to design the Balun-BPF with arbitrary characteristics.

백김치 담금시 가장 적절한 발효 온도를 알아보기 위하여 소금농도를 1.0%로 하여 10, 20, 30℃에서 각각 발효시켜가며 물리화학적 및 관능적 성질을 측정하였다. 발효시 pH와 총산도의 변화를 보면 온도가 증가함에 따라 pH 감소 속도는 빨랐으며 총산도 역시 pH와 같은 경향으로 증가하였는데 30℃에서 pH4.2-3.6사이의 총산도는 pH4.2에서 0.13%, pH4.0에서 0.20%, pH3.8에서 0.32% 그리고 pH 3.6에서는 0.44%로 pH가 낮을수록 총살도가 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 관능적 성질은 전체적으로 30℃가 다른 두 온도에서 보다 좋게 평가되었으며 p>0.05의 범위에서 유의성을 보였다. 또한 백김치의 가장 적절한 pH를 찾아내기 위하여 pH4.2-3.6에서 관능적 특성을 평가한 결과 pH3.8 부근이 가장 좋게 평가되었다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 보면 백김치쥬스를 제조하기 위한 가장 적절한 백길치액의 조건은 소금농도 1.0%의 백김치를 제조하여 30℃에서 발효시키는 것으로 pH3.8부근, 총산도는 0.2, 0.3%의 백김치가 가장 기호도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 보통 배추김치의 경우 적숙기는 pH4.2, 총산도는 0.5-0.6%로 낮은 온도에서 발효시킨것이 가장 좋은 것으로 알려져 있는 것과는 다른 결과로 발효 온도가 높고 pH와 총산도는 일반 배추김치보다 낮은 것이 좋게 평가되었다. The Baik Kimchi, a kind of watery Kimchi, was fermentation at different temperatures and studied for its effection on pH, total acidity and organoleptic properties. The Kimchi was prepared by fermentation of brined Chinese cabbage having 1.0% NaCl concentration at 10, 20 and 30℃ with addition of water and some fresh spices. The higher temperature resulted an increase in fermentation rate in terms of pH and total acidity. Sensory evaluation on the Kimchi showed that fermentation at 30℃ was more acceptable when its pH reached 3.8 and acidity of 0.2~0.3%. This optimal pH and acidity were somewhat lower than those values of ordinary Kimchi which is in the range of pH 4.0~4.2 and acidity of 0.5~0.6%.
자기베어링시스템 강성의 실험적 고찰을 통한 안정화 특성에 관한 연구

Due to the lack of stiffness and difficulties of control, it is hard to achieve well balanced magnetic levitation. In this paper, we analysis the current and position stiffness change according to bias current through experiment. Then, compensation equations were presented. After obtaining PD gain for each bias current and PD gain region through levitation experiment, we consider the characteristics.

In this paper, a BPF with a dual mode folded ring resonator is presented. The dual mode ring resonator is also exactly analyzed by using Y-parameter method, in which the difference in admittance of two lines make the ring resonator work as a dual mode resonator. The proposed 'BPF has an advantage of small size compared to conventional one with dual mode ring resonator.
원격영상강의에서 발생하는 상호작용의 빈도와 유형이 학습 동기유발에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 원격영상 강의를 시범적으로 실시하고 있는 '한국방송대학교'의 2개 강좌-사회과학 계열 1개 과목과 인문과학 계열 1개 과목-를 모국과 자국 모두 관찰함으로써 원격교육에서 상호작용이 어떠한 빈도와 형태로 나타나고 있으며 이는 학습자의 동기유발에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 조사하였다. Flanders의 상호작용 분석법을 활용하여 비디오로 촬영한 강좌 상황을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 사회과학 계열의 과목이 인문과학 계열 과목보다 교사 대 학습자 (T-S), 학습자 대 교사(S-T), 학습자 대 학습자(S-S) 상호작용이 많이 일어난 것으로 관찰되었다. (2) 모국과 자국의 비교에서는 모국이 자국에 비해 일반적으로 상호작용이 많이 일어나며, 그 유형은 교사 대 학습자(T-S) 상호작용이 주를 이루었다. (3) 상호작용이 많은 것이 학습자의 동기를 전반적으로는 유발하지 않았으나. T-S 유형은 학습자 의 주의력에 S-T 유형은 학습자의 자신감에 의미있는 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of the study is to investigate the frequencies and patterns of teacher-student interaction and gain insight on the student motivation regarding interaction through two video conferencing courses being implemented at Korea Open University during the fall semester of 1995. The results revealed the lecture K provided much more interaction than lecture M. In lecture K, teacher-student interaction was prevalent. On the other hand, student-teacher interaction was more observed in lecture M. The on-site location showed more interaction than remote-site in both lecture. On-site location, teacher-student interaction was more frequently observed and student-teacher interaction was shown more in remote-site. Analysis of the relationship between interaction pattern and student motivation revealed that there was no correlation between interaction pattern and student motivation. All pattern of interaction could not be directly correlated to overall students motivations. However, it was elucidated that the Teacher-Student pattern enhanced attention of the students and the Student-Teacher pattern positively influenced confidence of the students.
