        장애아동 어머니의 경제활동에 영향을 미치는 요인

        The purpose of this study is to estimate the factors that influence the employment and economic activity changes of mother with the disabled child, and then to discuss policy implications for estimated outcomes. For this research, a set of mothers of children with disabilities that utilize facilities for disabled children in Gyeongnam region were surveyed(N=163). Among collected data, data for 154 mothers were used for this study. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the educational levels of mothers with the disabled child were high. Second, the economic status of family with the disabled child is not good. Third, the half or more mothers with the disabled child did not stop economic activities or reduce allocated hours to market to give care for disabled child activities. Fourth, the types of employment mothers with the disabled child prefer were part time labor or in-home labor. Fifth, the disabled child` age was positively and statistically significantly associated with the employment of mother with disabled child. Sixth, the severity of child`s disability was positively and statistically significantly associated with the economic activity change of mother with disabled child. Seventh, the economic burden of mother with disabled child was negatively and statistically significantly associated with the employment of mother with disabled child. Eighth, the psychic burden of mother with disabled child was positively and statistically significantly associated with the employment of mother with disabled child.

Eighth, the psychic burden of mother with disabled child was positively and statistically significantly associated with the employment of mother with disabled child. 본 연구의 목적은 장애아동 어머니의 취업 여부와 경제활동 변화에 미치는 요인들을 추정하여 정책적 함의를 논의하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 경상남도 소재 장애아동시설을 이용하는 장애아동의 어머니를 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 회수된 설문지 163부 중 사용 가능한 154부를 이용하여 분석을 행하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 장애아동 어머니의 학력이 고졸 이상으로 상당히 높았다. 둘째, 장애아동 가계의 경제적 상태가 열악한 상태에 있었다. 셋째, 장애아동 양육으로 인해 어머니의 과반수이상이 경제활동을 그만두었거나 근무시간을 줄인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 장애아동 어머니가 선호하는 경제활동형태는 시간제 근로 또는 재택 근무 형태였다. 다섯째, 장애아동의 연령이 많을수록 어머니의 취업에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 여섯째, 장애아동의 장애가 심할수록 어머니의 경제활동 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 일곱째, 장애아동 어머니의 경제적 부담이 높을수록 장애아동 어머니의 취업에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 여덟째, 장애아동 어머니의 심리적 부담이 높을수록 장애아동 어머니의 취업에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다.

        장애아동 어머니의 개인특성, 장애수용 태도, 양육 스트레스가 장애아동 가족 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

        This study tested a model on the life quality of family with a disabled child. The sample of this study included 95 mothers with a disabled child. It tested the effect of parenting stress, acceptance toward disability, ego-resiliency, general psychological health, state-anxiety on the life quality of family with a disabled child. A total of 95 cases were used for the analyses, investigating frequency, Pearson's correlation coefficient, hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and covariance structure analysis with SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0 programs. The results demonstrated the following. First, the parenting stress and state anxiety of mothers had significant correlation with acceptance toward disability, ego-resiliency, general psychological health, state-anxiety, and the life quality of family with a disabled child negatively. Second, factors that influence the life quality of family with a disabled child are economic status, acceptance toward disability, state-anxiety, general psychological health, and ego-resiliency. And factors that influence parenting stress are the age of a disabled child, the severity of child disability, acceptance toward disability, state-anxiety, general psychological health, and ego-resiliency. Third, the results fitting the structural equation model showed that the direct path from acceptance toward disability to psychological character of mother, from acceptance toward disability to parenting stress, from acceptance toward disability to the life quality of family with a disabled child, and from psychological character of mother to the life quality of family with a disabled child was significant but the direct path from psychological character of mother to parenting stress and from parenting stress to the life quality of family with a disabled child was not significant. And the results fitting the structural equation model showed that indirect path from acceptance toward disability through psychological character of mother to the life quality of family with a disabled child was significant but indirect path from acceptance toward disability through parenting stress to the life quality of family with a disabled child was not significant. This study showed relationship between the life quality of family with a disabled child, parenting stress, acceptance toward disability, and psychological character of mother in holistic perspective. 이 연구는 장애아동 어머니의 개인특성과 장애수용 태도가 장애아동 가족 삶의 질에 영향을 미침에 있어서 장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스가 어떻게 매개하는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 대구⋅경북, 경남, 제주지역에 거주하는 95명의 장애아동 어머니였다. 분석방법은 수집된 설문지에 대해 빈도분석, 상관분석, 회귀분석 및 공변량 구조방정식 모형 검증을 실시하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 15.0 과 AMOS 7.0을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 장애아동 어머니의 상태불안과 양육스트레스는 장애수용 태도, 자아탄력성, 일반정신건강, 장애아동 가족 삶의 질과 부적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 장애아동 가족 삶의 질에는 장애아동 어머니에 의해 지각된 경제수준, 장애수용 태도, 상태불안, 일반정신건강, 자아탄력성이 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스에는 장애아동의 연령, 지각된 아동의 장애정도, 장애수용 태도, 상태불안, 일반정신건강, 자아탄력성이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 구조방정식 모형 분석에서는 6개의 경로 중 4개의 경로, 즉, 장애수용→어머니 특성, 장애수용→양육스트레스, 장애수용→장애아동 가족 삶의 질, 어머니 특성→장애아동 가족 삶의 질로 가는 경로가 유의한 것으로 나타났으나, 어머니 특성→양육스트레스, 양육스트레스→장애아동 가족 삶의 질 경로는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 의의는 장애아동 가족 삶의 질, 양육스트레스, 장애아동 어머니의 장애수용 태도 및 개인적 심리특성 간의 관계성을 전체적인 관점에서 살펴보았다는 것이다.

        장애영유아의 통합보육 현황과 보육교사의 통합보육에 대한 인식

        This study conducted a survey to analyze the condition of integrated child-care and a general recognition of integrated child-care for children with disabilities for the child-care teachers who work in the child-care centers in G province. As the result of study, there are as follows: First, most of the child-care teachers work in general child-care centers where children don’t have disabilities. They rarely participated in the training seminars for integrated child-care. Even if they participated in it, they attended for a short time. Second, most of the child-care teachers agreed that the children with disabilities enter into general child-care centers. They answered that the children with disabilities would be better be placed in a child-care center already integrated with children with disabilities and that the integrated child-care would be of help to the normal children. Third, the child-care teachers answered that to care integrally in all fields of disability is very difficult. Especially, they answered that it is more difficult to care for multiple-handicapped children and autistic spectrum disorder children. Fourth, the child-care teachers answered that as the integrated child-care is positive for all children, it would be better to start early as soon as possible and provide more education on understanding children with disabilities. Fifth, they answered that the child-care centers where they work are badly prepared. Moreover, even child-care teachers don’t have expertise in special education. Sixth, the integrated child-care may have positive effects on promoting social development, offering a chance to understand, to cooperate and to help each other. Also it can help improve the perception of normal children for children with disabilities through interplay between both. Seventh, the negative effects of integrated child-care were that the child-care teachers had to spend more time on children with disabilities, that parents of the normal children had reluctance for integrated child-care and also that there was a possibility to decrease of children in the child-care center. 본 연구는 G도 소재 어린이집 보육교사들을 대상으로 통합보육 현황과 장애영유아 통합보육에 대한 전반적 인식을 분석하고자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 보육교사들은 장애영유아가 없는 일반어린이집에 대부분 근무하고 있었으며, 통합보육 연수에 참여한 적이 거의 없었으며, 참여한 경우에도 참여시간이 매우 적었다. 둘째, 장애영유아의 일반어린이집 입소에 대해 대부분 동의하였으며, 배치장소로는 장애아 통합어린이집이 적절하며, 통합보육은 영유아 모두에게 도움이 될 것이라고 답하였다. 셋째, 보육교사들은 장애종류와 정도에 관계없이 모두 통합보육이 매우 힘들 것이며, 특히 중복장애와 자폐성장애를 더 힘들 것이라고 답하였다. 넷째, 통합보육은 모든 영유아에게 긍정적이므로 가능한 일찍 시작하는 것이 좋으며, 반드시 장애이해교육이 필요하다고 하였다. 다섯째, 현재 근무하고 있는 어린이집은 통합보육 준비가 매우 부족한 상황이며, 보육교사 자신도 특수교육 전문성이 부족하다고 응답하였다. 여섯째, 통합보육의 긍정적 영향으로 영유아 간의 상호작용 확대를 통한 사회성 발달 촉진, 서로 이해하고 협동하고 도와주는 기회 제공, 장애영유아에 대한 일반영유아의 인식 개선 등이었다. 일곱째, 통합보육의 부정적인 영향으로는 보육교사가 장애영유아에게 더 많은 시간을 할애해야 한다는 것, 일반영유아 학부모들의 통합보육에 대한 거부감, 어린이집 재원 원아의 감소 가능성 등이었다.

        장애아동을 위한 체육 정책 패러다임

        The purpose of this study was to find out future paradigm of athletic policy for disabled children through comparing athletic policies for the disabled with social welfare one for disabled children. For this study, among the documents written after 2000, the pre-studies and materials concerned with disabled, athletics and disabled child welfare were considered and the paradigm of athletic and child welfare policies were analyzed, and with that, the athletic policy paradigm for disabled children was sought. The results made from study purpose and method like that are shown below. First, the disabled athletic policy paradigm has been started from 'welfare for men of national merit' and developed to 'preparation for elite athletic foundations'. After that, it pursued 'welfare and social unification with the recognition of the whole disabled as a equal subjects of rights', and next, pursued 'the disabled athletic policy reflecting the disabled`s demands with the recognition of the disabled as the party concerned'. The disabled athletic policy paradigm should pursue the basic values of athletics for the disabled as a consumer of athletics. And it should pursue the recognition on the disabled out of benefit, too. In the aspect of policy means, the demand on preparation of the infrastructure and change of recognition for the disabled athletics should keep on. Second, the paradigm of disabled children welfare is focusing on diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation in the recognition on method. It pursuits the method to get welfare benefit with family. And it pursuits economical support for sporting goods and education. And in the recognition on beneficiary, it pursuits the effort to change the recognition of peer group, teacher and people around for disabled children not to be hurt from their eyes. In the end, the paradigm of disabled children welfare pursuits education and environment making for social integration as the purpose of it. Third, as the disabled children athletic policy paradigm supported by athletic policy paradigm and coordinated with child welfare paradigm, 'The family athletics' paradigm is suggested by this study, in which, the disabled child family becomes the basic unit of policy. In 'The family athletics' paradigm, jobs for the parents of disabled children can be created and disabled children`s parents are the manager of inclusive life athletics. 이 연구의 목적은 장애인 체육정책과 장애아동 사회복지 정책의 전반적인 흐름과 정책을 비교 분석하여 장애아동을 위한 미래의 체육정책 패러다임을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구 목적을 위해 2000년 이후 장애인과 체육에 관련된 선행연구와 정책관련 자료들, 그리고 장애아동 복지 관련 문헌을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 문헌 고찰을 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인 체육정책의 흐름은 국가유공자를 위한 복지에서 시작되어 엘리트 장애체육인을 위한 엘리트체육 기반 마련으로 발전하였다. 이후, 장애인 전체를 동등한 권리의 행사자로 인식하고 체육을 통한 복지 혜택과 사회통합을 추구하였고, 뒤를 이어 장애인을 장애인체육의 당사자로 인식하고 장애인의 의사가 반영되는 장애인 체육정책을 추구하였다. 이러한 흐름을 기반으로 장애인 체육정책 패러다임의 방향은 장애인을 위해 체육의 본질적 가치를 추구해야 하며, 장애인체육에 대한 인식 전환과 장애인체육의 인프라 구축이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 장애아동 복지의 패러다임은 수단과 관련한 인식에서 진단, 치료, 재활 서비스의 제공에 중점을 두고 있다. 그리고 가족들과 함께 복지의 혜택을 받을 수 있는 수단과 필요한 용구나 교육을 뒷받침 해줄 경제적 지원을 추구한다. 이에 장애아동복지의 패러다임은 사회통합을 위한 교육과 환경 조성을 통한 자립을 그 목표로 한다. 셋째, 장애인 체육정책의 패러다임과 장애아동 복지의 패러다임을 조화시켜 도출해낸 장애아동 체육정책의 패러다임으로서 장애인가족이 체육정책의 최소 단위가 되는 ‘가족 체육’의 패러다임을 제안한다. ‘가족 체육’ 패러다임에서는 장애아동의 부모가 통합체육활동의 운영자가 되며, 체육정책의 운영주체가 된다. 그리고 이는 장애아 부모를 위한 일자리를 창출을 추구한다.

        장애아가족의 가족지원제도의 요구와 삶의 질 향상을 위한 정책적ㆍ제도적 개선방안

        The birth of children with disabilities effects on parents of children with disabilities, non-disabled brothers and sisters, namely, members of a family. And disabled child’s families experience various conflicts each other in one’s home, for example, marital conflict, conflicts between parents and disabled child, conflicts between parents and non-disabled child and conflicts between disabled child and non-disabled brothers and sisters in everyday life. The family members of disabled child share the responsibility of nurturing disabled child. Therefore, the family with disabled child has more stress and trouble than family with non-disabled child. So, the problems in various aspects of family with disabled child can be resolved through politicalㆍinstitutional support for family with disabled child based on sharing social responsibility. Since 2007, policies for ‘support for family with disabled child’ of 「Health and Family Support Centers」are carried out according to undertaking for support for family with disabled child, but concerning this support, several problems have been pointed out. In this study, situations of ‘support system for family with disabled child’ for improvement about quality of life for family with disabled child would be explored and concerned on that, problems and ways to improve of support should be presented. So, the improvement of ‘support for family with disabled child’ in order to quality of one’s life of family with disabled child could be seen as follows. First, the ‘support for family with disabled child’ ought to be practiced according to the needs of family members(children with disabilities, parents, non-disabled brothers and sisters etc.). Second, the ‘support for family with disabled child’ ought to be practiced considering to financial support for family with disabled child(another free day care and treatment increased support for child with disabilities etc.). Third, the ‘respite care’ and the ‘Personal Assistance Support System’ ought to be expanded regardless of disability rating and time to everyone. Forth, the pension system for disabled person ought not to be based on disability rating but income level of person with disabilities. Fifth, ‘long-term care support system’ ought to be expanded for all disabled people.

        성인 지적장애 자녀와 함께 사는 장애 부모의 양육 경험에 관한 사례연구

        The objective of this study was to reveal the child rearing experience of disabled parents living with adult children with intellectual disabilities through the qualitative case study method. For this, this study conducted interviews on the child rearing experience of disabled parents of adult children with intellectual disabilities. The research participants were three women and one man as disabled parents living with adult children with intellectual disabilities, and the type of disability was the physical disability. In the results of the analysis, the meanings of child rearing experience of disabled parents living with adult children with intellectual disabilities included total 17 categories and five themes. Putting together the results of the analysis and literary review, the child rearing experience of disabled parents living with adult children with intellectual disabilities could be discussed as follows. As a result of the study, it can be seen that parents of children with disabilities living with children with intellectual disabilities need to build and supplement various support systems in their lives and need to provide services for psychological support for families with developmental disabilities. there was. As a result of this, they made practical and policy suggestions for living in the community. 본 연구는 성인 지적장애 자녀와 함께 사는 장애 부모의 양육 경험을 밝히는 데 목적을두었으며, 연구 방법은 질적 사례연구를 사용하였다. 이를 위해 장애 자녀의 양육과정에서장애가 있는 부모는 어떠한 경험을 해 왔는지 인터뷰를 통해 심층 분석하였다. 연구참여자는성인 지적장애 자녀와 함께 사는 장애 부모로 여성 3명, 남성 1명으로 장애 유형은 모두 신체장애가 있다. 연구참여자 선정은 세평적 사례선택(reputational case selection)방법을 사용하였다. 분석 결과 성인 지적장애 자녀와 함께 사는 장애 부모의 양육 경험 의미는 총 17 개의 범주와 “다름 속의 늦된 아이”, “차별 속에 힘든 부모”, “넘어야 할 힘든 고비”, “세상으로 나아감”, “힘이 되어준 사람”의 5개의 주제로 분석되었다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 장애인 가족에 대한 지원대책 마련, 장애 자녀 양육을 지원할 수 있는 전문 상담인 제도 도입과장애인 가족을 지역사회 복지 측면에서 지원할 수 있는 주민공동체 활동이라고 제언하였다.

        장애아동과 비장애 아동의 식습관 및 섭식 행동 비교

        This study was conducted to compare the eating habits of disabled and non-disabled children in Seoul and Gangneung. Korea. Questionnaires about eating habits were answered by the children's parents and their teachers. The subjects of this study consisted of 146 disabled children (108 boys and 38 girls) from two special education schools and 241 non-disabled children (control group,120 boys and 121 girls) from two elementary schools in Seoul and Gangneung, respectively. The percentage of the children who required more than 30 minutes to eat was 11.3% in the disabled group and 2.5% in the non-disabled group. In the disabled group,44.0% ate excessive amounts of food or could not control their intake. The percentage of the children whose frequency of eating breakfast was less than 1 to 2 times per week was 21.0% in the disabled group and 9.7% in the non-disabled group. Also, 7.6% of the disabled group and 13.9% of the non-disabled group had snacks more than three times per day. The percentage of children who were able to eat by themselves was lower in the disabled group (47.9%) than in the non-disabled group (87.8%). Of the remainder of the disabled group,28.6% spilled food, and 14.3% needed the aid of others when picking up side dishes. The percentage of parents who worried about their children's eating an unbalanced diet was 48.5% in the disabled group and 41.8% in the non-disabled group. In addition, there were problems with eating behaviors in 22.7% in the disabled group, and with under-eating (15.9%) and with excessive intake of instant foods (16.8%) in the non-disabled group. These results suggest that the eating habits and eating behaviors of disabled children are different from those of non-disabled children. Thus, nutritional educational programs and educational materials for disabled children and their parents should be developed.

        장애아담당 보육교사의 직무스트레스에 대한인식 분석

        The purpose of the present study was to investigate the teachers` recognition toward job stress in the disabled child care, targeting the 83 child-care teachers for children with disabilities in child-care centers in Jeju. The responded data were analyzed by using PASW(Ver. 18.0) and content analysis in open-ended question. Results of this study are as follows: First, toward the problems in the disabled child care, recognition of teachers who had 6-years or more career appeared to be higher than teachers who had 1-5 years career, recognition of teachers who were in judical and private centers than national and public centers, and recognition of teachers who did special child-care than inclusive child-care. Second, toward the stress in the disabled child care, recognition of teachers who were in judical and private centers appeared to be higher than national and publiccenters, and recognition of teachers who did special child-care than inclusive child-care. Third, in comparing the differences of teachers` recognition between the problems and stress in the disabled child care, there were significant differences in the areas of relation to parents, interaction and teaching, relation to principal, and treatment and welfare. Fourth, child-care teachers were stressed in the area of document management, child teaching, development of program and teaching tools, relationship to parents, principal, and colleague, treatment and welfare, and information collection and professionality development. This study suggests that to remove or reduce the teachers` stress, it is important to cut down their unnecessary job, to give teachers more opportunity to study and train, and to improve relation to principal and parents.

      • 영상자료 활용이 비장애아동의 장애아동 수용태도에 미치는 효과

        The present study conducted an experiment on the effects of the use of video materials on non disabled children attitude toward disabled children, with the object of providing field teachers with materials for their education to change non disabled children's attityde toward disabled children. For this purpose, we selected 120 students from four 3rd grade and 5th grade classes at an elementary school without special classes in Gumi, and divided them into an experimental group(n=60) and a control group(n=60), adopting true experimetal design. The present reseacher designed disabilty related video programs by disability area, and applied them twice a week for six weeks, so a total of 12 sessions. From the results of this study were drawn conclusions as follows. First, watching disability related videos was effective in improving non disabled children attitude toward disabled children in their personal life. However, no significant difference was observed between 3rd graders and 5th graders and between boys and girls. Second, watching disability related videos was effective in improving non disabled children's attitude toward disabled children in their school life. However, no significant difference was observed between 3rd graders and 5th graders and between boys and girls. Third, watching disability related videos was effective in improving non disabled children's attitude toward disabled children in their social life. However, no significant difference was observed between 3rd graders and 5th graders and between boys and girls. 본 연구는 영상자료 활용이 비장애아동의 장애아동 수용태도에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 실험연구로써, 대상은 특수학급이 설치되어 있지 않은 구미시 G초등학교의 3학년과 5학년 4개 일반학급 아동 120명이며, 2개반은 실험집단, 2개반은 통제집단으로 편성하여 진실험설계를 하였다. 본 연구는 영상자료 프로그램을 6주간에 걸쳐 매주 2회 총 12회기 동안 3학년 5학년 실험집단의 각 교실에서 적용하엿으며, 장애아동에 대한 비장애아동의 수용 태도 척도는 국립특수교육원(1997)의 통합교육의 효율적인 운영방안 연구에서 비장애아동의 장애아동에 대한 태도를 조사하기 위해 사용한 설문지 '나는 장애를 가진 친구와 이렇게 지내고 싶다'를 활용하였다. 자료처리는 영상자료 적용전과 후의 수용태도변화를 개인생활, 학교생활, 사회생활면에서 분석하기 위해 독립표본 t검증을 실시했으며, SPSS Version12.2 프로그램을 활용하여 통계 처리하였다.
