        Comparison of Restaurant Distribution Entrepreneurs’ Pressure on Business Failure and Entrepreneurial Intention

        Purpose – This study aims to exploratorily analyze relationship among pressure on business failure, social safety net perception, and entrepreneurial intention targeting potential business founders – pre-entrepreneurs and re-entrepreneurs. Research design, data, and methodology – Out of 450 collected surveys, 386 were used for analysis. Among these, 216 were from pre-entrepreneurs and 170 were from re-entrepreneurs. Frequency analysis, reliability and validity analysis, and regression analysis were performed. Results – In analysis of pre-entrepreneur and re-entrepreneur’s pressure on business failure and social safety net perception, objective environment perception – a subfactor of social safety net perception – had statistically significant difference between the two potential entrepreneur groups. Conclusions – We categorized potential entrepreneurs into pre-entrepreneurs and re-entrepreneurs. Also, the current study suggests importance of social safety net to vitalize food service business startup by validifying its mediating effect between pressure on business failure and attitude towards restaurant business establishment. This research also established groundwork for future studies on ways to improve entrepreneurial intention or startup business sustainability by deducing social safety net perception difference between pre-entrepreneurs and re-entrepreneurs. This study was able to analyze relationship between those two groups in terms of entrepreneurial intention and startup business sustainability.

        예비 창업자의 성격 특성이 몰입과 창업 의도에 미치는 영향

        As the leader of the company, the CEO is responsible for all decisions and activities within the company and sets the company's strategy and vision. Entrepreneurs can also be operations managers and are most often owners of companies. However, the most important role of the entrepreneur is to promote the company's products/services. There is a relationship between the characteristics of an entrepreneur and the innovation activity of a company. Entrepreneurs therefore influence decision-making and the goals of the company. Entrepreneur's personality traits, background, experience and values ​​also play an important role as one of the factors influencing the performance of start-up companies. In this study, the personality traits of prospective founders were derived as extraersion, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness. The purpose of this study is to understand how the behavioral patterns of these prospective founders affect calculative commitment, emotional commitment, and entrepreneurial intentions. For the purpose of this study, a survey specialized institution was used for the survey. For the reliability of the survey, the survey was conducted on prospective entrepreneurs who received entrepreneurship education. The questionnaire was filled out online, and it was provided to prospective founders by text message so that they could fill it out online. The survey was conducted from July 9 to November 20, 2020, and about 500 people were provided with the questionnaire, and 410 copies were collected. Of these, 407 copies were used for the analysis of this study, excluding 3 copies of the insincere questionnaire. SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0 were used for analysis of the recovered questionnaire. As a result of the analysis, it was found that openness, extraversion and agreeableness had a significant effect on calculative commitment, but conscientiousness did not significantly affect calculative commitment. Next, extraversion was found to have a significant effect on emotional commitment, but openness, conscientiousness, and agreeableness did not have a significant effect on emotional commitment. In addition, both calculative and emotional commitment were found to have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. The implications of this study are first, it is necessary to understand the personal traits of prospective founders in order to provide entrepreneurship education. Second, pre-entrepreneur with high openness and agreeableness should develop a program for calculative commitment. Third, it is necessary to develop the capacity for pre-entrepreneur to convey their opinions persuasively.

        예비창업자의 개인적 규범과 창업준비 수준이 창업의지에 미치는 영향: 창업교육의 조절효과를 중심으로

        This study examined which influence the pre-entrepreneurs' individual norm and start-up preparation level have upon a start-up intention, and analyzed a moderating effect in start-up education as for a relationship of individual norm and start-up preparation level with a start-up intention. For the purpose of offering useful data so that the pre-entrepreneurs of planning start-up can do more successful start-up through this, it carried out questionnaire from September 13, 2017 to November 14, 2017 targeting pre-entrepreneurs who received start-up education at an educational institution and a university that are located in K region. As a result, excluding 11 copies with a difficulty in the application to statistics among totally 211 copies, 200 copies were chosen as the final samples. Data were conducted reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis by using SPSS 20.0. The results are as follows. First, the individual norm had a significant impact on a start-up intention. Second, the start-up preparation level had a significant effect on a start-up intention. Third, the start-up education had a moderating impact in the relationship between the individual norm and the start-up intention. Fourth, the start-up education had a moderating influence in the relationship between the start-up preparation level and the start-up intention. However, this study limited the sampling region to K area, thereby having a limitation in generalizing the findings all over the country. Moreover, there is a suggestion that a continuous research will need to be performed in terms of an influential factor in pre-entrepreneurs' start-up intention as well as in individual norm and start-up preparation level. 본 연구에서는 예비창업자의 개인적 규범과 창업준비수준이 창업의지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 그리고 개인적 규범과 창업준비수준이 창업의지와의 관계에서 창업교육의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 창업을 계획하는 예비창업자들이 보다 성공적인 창업을 할 수 있도록 유용한 자료로 제공하고자 하는 목적을 위해 k 지역 소재 교육기관과 대학교에서 창업교육을 받은 예비창업자들을 대상으로 2017년 9월 13일에서 2017년 11월 14일까지 설문을 실시한 총 211부에서 통계에 활용이 어려운 11부를 제외한 200부를 최종 표본으로 선정하였다. 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 활용하여 신뢰도분석, 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 하였고 그 결과는 아래와 같다. 첫째, 개인적 규범은 창업의지에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 창업준비수준은 창업의지에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 개인적 규범과 창업의지와의 관계에서 창업교육은 조절효과가 있었다. 넷째, 창업준비수준과 창업의지와의 관계에서 창업교육은 조절효과가 있었다. 그러나 본 연구는 표집지역을 k지역으로 한정하였기에 연구결과를 전국으로 일반화하는데는 한계가 있으며 나아가 개인적 규범과 창업준비수준 뿐만이 아닌 예비창업자의 창업의지 영향요인에 대한 지속적 연구가 계속되어야 할 것을 제안한다.

        예비창업자, 재창업자, 기존창업자의 지속 가능한 외식 창업에 관한 연구

        국내의 자영업자 수의 비중이 OECD 국가 기준으로 가장 높은 수준이다. 이러한 현상은 베이비 붐 세대의 본격적인 은퇴와 청년 실업자, 경력단절 여성들의 꾸준한 자영업 시장의 유입으로 인한 결과로 해석되고 있다. 이에 창업에 대한 동향을 살펴보면, 외식업이 차지하는 비율은 지속적인 증가 추세를 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 외식창업자를 예비창업자, 재창업자, 기존창업자로 분류하여 지속 가능한 창업에 영향을 주는 개인적 특성을 탐색적으로 분석하고자 한다. 이에 외식창업자의 특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 기존 연구 범위를 확대하고자 하며, 아울러 창업실패부담감과 사회안전망인식의 조절효과를 알아봄으로써 정부의 효과적 창업지원정책 마련에 기여하고자 하는데 목적을 두었다. 예비 창업자 228명, 재창업자 172명, 기존 창업자 233명으로 분석하였으며, 그 결과 예비창업자의 특성과 창업의지와는 유의한 관계이며 창업실패부담감의 조절효과는 심리적, 행위적 특성에 한하여 조절 작용한다. 재창업자/기존창업자의 특성과 창업지속가능성은 유의한 관계이며 창업실패부담감의 조절효과는 행위적 특성만이 조절효과를 보이는 것으로 도출되었다. 사회안전망인식의 조절효과는 예비창업자, 재창업자, 기존창업자의 심리적 특성이 조절효과를 보이는 것으로 도출되었다. This study is to classify the Food service Enterprise as Pre-Entrepreneur, Re-Entrepreneur, Entrepreneur and explores the characteristics that affect sustainable start-up. The purpose of this study is to expand the scope of existing research on the effects of the characteristics of the establishment of eateries on business performance. In addition, it will contribute to the establishment of effective government support policies by examining the burden of start-up failure and the moderating effect of social safety net perception. As a result, there is a significant relationship between the characteristics of the pre-founder and the will of the founder. The moderating effect of the burden of start-up failure is controlled only by the psychological and behavioral.

        예비창업자 및 스타트업의 정보이용행태 분석

        예비창업자 및 스타트업을 지원하고 활성화하기 위한 국가차원의 제도적·정책적 지원이 강화되고 있다. 그러나 이들은 창업준비 과정에서 필요한 정보의 부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예비창업자 및 스타트업이 보다 체계적이고 견실한 창업 진행 과정을 거치도록 콘텐츠나 서비스 측면에서 지원하기 위해서는, 그들의 정보요구 및 정보이용행태를 면밀히 분석할 필요가 있다. 정보이용행태 분석은 도서관 정보서비스 기관에서 학술정보 이용자의 정보요구에 맞추어 해당 정보서비스의 개선을 위해 활용하는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 예비창업자 및 스타트업을 대상으로 정보이용행태를 분석하였다. 정보이용행태를 조사하기 위한 대표적인 기법인 집단심층면접조사를 예비창업자와 스타트업을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 콘텐츠 분석을 통해 이들의 창업 진행 과정, 창업 정보 탐색 현황, 창업 정보원 활용 수준 및 인식을 조사하였다. 이들의 정보이용행태를 반영하여 창업지원 기관 및 프로그램의 콘텐츠와 서비스를 개선할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. Nation-wide support is being strengthened to vitalize pre-entrepreneur and startup initiatives. However, it is found that they have been suffering from the lack of necessary information in preparation for the start-up operation. In order to support more proactive and robust start-up process in aspect of contents or service, it is necessary to carefully analyze their information needs and information seeking behaviors. Information seeking behavior analysis is a method for improving information services in accordance with the information needs of the information service users in libraries and information service institutes. This study analyzed information seeking behaviors of pre-entrepreneur and startup. Focus-group interview as the representative method of exploring information seeking behaviors was conducted. Content analysis was introduced to search the business-establishing process, information-seeking status, and utilization level of startup-related information resources and their perception. It is expected that contents and services for pre-entrepreneur and startup would be improved by reflecting their information seeking behaviors based on the results of this study.

        예비창업자의 창업동기가 창업효능감과의 영향관계 후 창업의도에 미치는 영향

        Currently, the importance of opportunity-type start-ups, a field of start-up, is low, so the importance is set low in start-up-oriented education for prospective entrepreneurs, and accordingly, the need for start-up opportunities and competency development is emerging. Particularly emphasized is that in the case of youth start-ups, opportunity-type start-ups are urgently needed. Therefore, in this study, statistical processing of data collected through a survey of 320 pre-entrepreneur living in the metropolitan area. As a result of the analysis, It proved that the entrepreneurial motivation of pre-entrepreneur has a mutual relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention and has a significant influence. These results imply that the higher the opportunity motivation, achievement motivation, and independence motivation when prospective start-ups consider starting a business, the higher the entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and this increased entrepreneurial self-efficacy ultimately has a positive effect that increases the start-up intention. In order to cultivate start-up opportunity evaluation according to the type of Entrepreneurial motivation, it is considered necessary to strengthen the entrepreneurial self-efficacy and education on start-ups.

        농식품 예비창업자를 위한 소비자의 식품표시에 관한 만족도, 신뢰도 및 식품구매 행태에 관한 연구 - 2022년 식품소비행태조사 자료 이용 -

        본 연구는 농식품분야 예비창업자에게 소비자의 정보요구를 파악하여 식품제조 및 유통, 판매와 마케팅을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구에 활용된 데이터는 한국농촌경제연구원의 2022년도 식품소비행태조사 원시자료를 이용하였고, 성인 남녀별 식품표시 만족도, 신뢰도와 채소·과일 및 육류, 가공식품 구매시 표시사항 확인과 식품표시 인지도를 분석하였다. 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 건강관심도 및 신뢰도가 여성이 남성보다 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 식품표시를 신뢰하지 않은 이유는 남녀 모두 ‘품질인증업체에 대한 상품이나 사후관리가 제대로 이루어지지 않음’이 전체 43%로 가장 높았다. 둘째, 채소·과일 표시사항 확인은 ‘가격’(74.1%), ‘원산지표시’(40.7%), ‘유통기한’(26.3%), ‘중량’(25.6%), ‘생산지역’(24.7%), 순이었고, 육류는 ‘가격’(73.8%), ‘원산지표시’(42.2%), ‘유통기한’(35.1%), ‘등급’(35.2%), ‘중량’(30.9%) 순이었다. 가공식품은 ‘유통기한’(70.6%), ‘가격’(46.6%), ‘브랜드’(28.6%), ‘원산지 표시‘(27.0%), 식품첨가물’(24.6%) 순으로 나타났다. 표시사항 신뢰도, 식품표시제도에 대한 인지도 모두 여성이 남성보다 유의적으로 높았다. 연구 결과 남성이이 식품표시 만족도, 신뢰도, 인지도 모두 낮게 나타났다. 식품표시는 소비자의 건강한 식생활을 유도하고, 안전한 먹거리을 선택하는데 있어 중요한 기능을 동시에 수행한다. 따라서 남성 1인 가구 증가 현상 등을 고려할 때 식품소비의 주체자인 남성 소비자를 위한 식품표시에 대한 신뢰도, 만족도, 이용률을 높이기 위한 맞춤형 교육, 홍보 등 심도있는 연구가 필요함을 시사한다. This study analyzed food labeling satisfaction, reliability, vegetable/fruit, meat, and processed food purchase labeling and food labeling awareness by using the raw data of the food consumption behavior survey in 2022. For prospective entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector, we tried to identify consumers' information needs and provide them as basic data for food manufacturing, distribution, sales, and marketing. The main results of this study are as follows. First, health interest and reliability were higher in women than men (p<0.001). As for the reason for not trusting the food labeling, 'not properly performing products or follow-up management for quality certified companies' was the highest at 43% in both groups. As for the reason for not trusting the food labeling, in both groups, 'products or follow-up management for quality certified companies are not properly performed' was the highest at 43%. Second, checking the labeling of vegetables and fruits was 'price', 'country of origin', 'expiration date', 'weight', 'region of production' in the order, and 'price', 'country of origin', 'expiration date', and 'grade' for meat. ’, followed by ‘weight’. Processed foods appeared in the order of ‘expiration date’, ‘price’, ‘marking of origin’, ‘brand’, and ‘food additives’. Reliability of labeling information and awareness of the food labeling system were significantly higher in females than in males.       • 예비 가족창업자의 창업관련특성 및 창업교육선호

        This research aims to provide a groundwork for the development of an entrepreneurship program by examining the entrepreneurial characteristics of those who are preparing for family entrepreneurship and their preferences in entrepreneurship training according to social and demographical traits, such as sex, age and level of education. Survey respondents for this research were made up of 383 individuals living in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, regardless of age, excluding 47 problematic individuals. In order to analyze the collected data, various statistical methods such as frequency, percentage, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test and Crosstabs were used. In relation to starting up an entrepreneurship, respondents who were male, had a monthly income between 3,110,000 to 4,500,000 won, and had a low level of education preferred restaurant and hotel businesses. Respondents who were single females and had a monthly income of over 4,510,000 won preferred service businesses and those who were in their 30's and had a monthly income of over 4,510,000 won preferred internet-related businesses. Respondents who were college graduates in their 30's preferred having two jobs. Those with an educational level below middle school in their 30's showed a correlation between their views on entrepreneurship and their latest jobs. This research tries to contribute to the development of educational programs specifically suitable for pre family entrepreneurs, based on its findings according to social and demographical traits.

        관광산업의 멘토-멘티 적합성의 매개효과를 통해 창업의지에 미치는 영향

        This study is aim to explore the key variables that can improve the relationship between mentor-mentee fit and the relationship of mentor-mentee fit as a prerequisite in improving entrepreneurial intention. In addition, the mediating effect of entrepreneurship was verified in the process of mentee-mentor suitability inducing entrepreneurial will. To verify this, a survey was conducted on per-founders and early founders. The results of this study are as follows. First, in relation to the measures to improve the entrepreneurial will, mentor-mentee suitability was verified to have a positive effect on entrepreneurial will through entrepreneurship. Second, it was verified that mentor-mentee fit had a positive effect on the formation of entrepreneurship; third, entrepreneurship could have a direct effect on the intention of entrepreneurship. This study suggests that the more mentor-mentee fits entrepreneurs, the better the level of entrepreneurship. In addition, high level of entrepreneurship can play a role in further promoting the will to start a business. 본 연구는 관광창업자들의 창업의지를 향상키기는데 있어 멘토-멘티의 적합성을 선행요인으로 선정하고 실증분석을 통해 영향관계를 규명하는데 목적을 두었다. 또한 멘티-멘토 적합성이 창업의지를 유발하는 과정에서 기업가정신의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 본 연구에서는 예비창업자와 초기창업자를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업의지를 향상할 수 있는 방안과 관련하여 멘토-멘티 적합성은 기업가정신을 매개로 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것이 검증되었다. 둘째, 멘토-멘티 적합성은 기업가정신의 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것이 검증되었다. 셋째, 기업가정신은 창업의지에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 것이 검증되었다. 본 연구를 통해 창업자들은 멘토-멘티 적합성이 강할수록 기업가정신의 수준은 더욱 향상 될 수 있음을 시사한다. 또한 높은 수준의 기업가 정신은 창업에 대한 의지를 더욱 강하게 촉진하는 역할을 할 수 있음을 시사한다.
