        초고속인터넷 서비스품질에 대한 이용자 불만도 조사연구

        The growth of Internet usage even accelerated by the spread of high-speed Internet access network such as ADSL is affecting our socioeconomic activities and culture in a great way. Korea is recently reported to be the number one high-speed Internet network subscription per 100 people in the world. In a way to reflect this situation, we collect a moderate size of sample proportional to the population of each region across country and investigate what factors might explain the level of user’s dissatisfaction with respect to Internet service they have been receiving. The results indicate that the set of gender, age, Internet usage, service kinds, incoming e-mails, and e-shopping is significantly influencing user’s dissatisfaction, in that dissatisfaction is measured in 11 perspectives. In particular, user’s age, gender, and e-shopping experiences are considered to be mostly explainable.

        초고속 무선인터넷에서 인구통계적 요인이 폰형과 모뎀형 선택에 끼치는 영향에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 인구통계적 요인이 이동전화 초고속 무선인터넷, 와이브로 등을 이용할 때 사용하는 단말기의 선택에 끼치는 영향에 관한 연구이다. 초고속 무선인터넷은 무선 인터넷의 전송속도가 대략 1Mbps 이상을 말하는 서비스로서, 단말기로는 음성전화와 겸용으로 사용하는 타입을 폰형, 음성전화를 사용하지 않고 무선데이터 전용으로 사용하는 타입을 모뎀형으로 정의하였다. 폰형과 모뎀형에 따라 서비스 형태도 달라지기 때문에 중요한 문제이다. 로짓분석과 로지스틱분석에 의하면 나이, 결혼유무, 성별, 학력, 직업, 가구소득 등 모든 요인들은 폰형과 모뎀형을 선택하는 데 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 결혼유무와 성별에 관계없이 폰형을 선호하였으나 나이가 많을수록, 학력이 높을수록, 고소득 직업일수록, 가구소득이 높을수록 모뎀형을 선호하는 비율이 증가하는 패턴을 보이고 있다는 사실을 밝혔다. 본 연구에 따르면 스마트폰과 같은 폰형은 젊은 그룹을 타겟으로, 모뎀형은 나이가 많고 고소득인 그룹을 타겟으로 마케팅활동을 전개하는 것이 효과적이라 추정된다. The object of study is how demographic factors affect subscribers' behavior on selecting device for high speed mobile internet. The devices for a high speed mobile internet are a cellular phone, a smart phone, a PDA, a PMP, a sub notebook computer, and a notebook computer. We will call the mobile device with voice as the phone type, and the mobile device without voice as the modem type. The selection of the type is a very important problem because speed, a window size, service types, and service rates of mobile internet are depending on the type of device. The demographic factors which we research are age, marriage, academic ability, vocation, and household income. All factors affect selecting device. A result we find is that the percentage of selecting phone type is decreasing as age is increasing, academic ability is high, the income level of vocation is high, and household income is high.

        공간정보기반 클러스터링을 이용한 초고속인터넷 결합유형별 해지의 지역별 특성연구

        According to the Internet Usage Research performed in 2016, the number of internet users and the internet usage have been increasing. Smartphone, compared to the computer, is taking a more dominant role as an internet access device. As the number of smart devices have been increasing, some views that the demand on high-speed internet will decrease; however, Despite the increase in smart devices, the high-speed Internet market is expected to slightly increase for a while due to the speedup of Giga Internet and the growth of the IoT market. As the broadband Internet market saturates, telecom operators are over-competing to win new customers, but if they know the cause of customer exit, it is expected to reduce marketing costs by more effective marketing. In this study, we analyzed the relationship between the cancellation rates of telecommunication products and the factors affecting them by combining the data of 3 cities, Anyang, Gunpo, and Uiwang owned by a telecommunication company with the regional data from KOSIS(Korean Statistical Information Service). Especially, we focused on the assumption that the neighboring areas affect the distribution of the cancellation rates by coupling type, so we conducted spatial cluster analysis on the 3 types of cancellation rates of each region using the spatial analysis tool, SatScan, and analyzed the various relationships between the cancellation rates and the regional data. In the analysis phase, we first summarized the characteristics of the clusters derived by combining spatial information and the cancellation data. Next, based on the results of the cluster analysis, Variance analysis, Correlation analysis, and regression analysis were used to analyze the relationship between the cancellation rates data and regional data. Based on the results of analysis, we proposed appropriate marketing methods according to the region. Unlike previous studies on regional characteristics analysis, In this study has academic differentiation in that it performs clustering based on spatial information so that the regions with similar cancellation types on adjacent regions. In addition, there have been few studies considering the regional characteristics in the previous study on the determinants of subscription to high-speed Internet services, In this study, we tried to analyze the relationship between the clusters and the regional characteristics data, assuming that there are different factors depending on the region. In this study, we tried to get more efficient marketing method considering the characteristics of each region in the new subscription and customer management in high-speed internet. As a result of analysis of variance, it was confirmed that there were significant differences in regional characteristics among the clusters, Correlation analysis shows that there is a stronger correlation the clusters than all region. and Regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the cancellation rate and the regional characteristics. As a result, we found that there is a difference in the cancellation rate depending on the regional characteristics, and it is possible to target differentiated marketing each region. As the biggest limitation of this study and it was difficult to obtain enough data to carry out the analyze. In particular, it is difficult to find the variables that represent the regional characteristics in the Dong unit. In other words, most of the data was disclosed to the city rather than the Dong unit, so it was limited to analyze it in detail. The data such as income, card usage information and telecommunications company policies or characteristics that could affect its cause are not available at that time. The most urgent part for a more sophisticated analysis is to obtain the Dong unit data for the regional characteristics. Direction of the next studies be target marketing based on the results.         This is an exploratory research to examine the high-speed Internet access service's quality. There are relatively scanty studies on telecommunication service quality such as the high-speed Internet access service. It has long been considered that service quality are composed of process quality and outcome quality. Conducting an empirical research, we proposed that traditional outcome quality should be segmented with technical quality and outcome quality. Outcome quality is related to meeting consumer's needs to seek terminal value. In this paper, we explore to diagnose the well-known SERVQUAL's applicability to telecommunication industry and suggest some strategic and practical implications.

        초고속정보통신망하에서 인터넷서비스만족도에 영향을 주는 요인에 관한 연구

        A few recent international surveys reported that Korea ranks the top with respect to the high-speed information and communication network subscription per 100 people in the world. Such infrastructure has been bringing about broad changes in Internet service for both business and individual users. By conducting a questionnaire survey on a moderate size of sample proportional to the population of each region across country, we try to analyze what factors might explain the level of Internet service satisfaction with respect to security, searching, and convenience dimensions. According to the test results, several factors such as sex, age, kind of network lines, usage frequency, e-mail usage, e-shopping, online problem experience might explain the different levels of Internet service satisfaction in the high-speed Internet network. This study might shed a guidance to scholars conducting Internet-related studies and practitioners who plan information policies and business strategies.

        초고속인터넷서비스의 고객 충성도 및 전환행동 결정요인

        The percentage of households with Internet access in South Korea has reached 86.7% , by which it was concluded that the High-speed internet service market is at its saturated stage. Under the current circumstances, most companies have studied strategies to increase customer loyalty in order to maintain their existing customers and devised methods to acquire potential customers who have contract with other competing companies. This paper investigates to explore the experiences about customer loyalty and switching behavior of high?speed internet service users and 21 subjects were interviewed. Based on the result, the determinants of customer loyalty appeared as fee related factors of single or combined services, the image and service of service provider, and internet speed etc.. The determinants of switching behavior turned out to be fee and/or money policies that current service provider suggested, recommendation by an acquaintance, internet speed, and after service etc..

        인공위성을 이용하여 초고속 인터넷 서비스를 구현하고자 한다. 인공위성을 이용한다는 것은 지역적인 한계를 극복한다는 것이다. 위성안테나만 있으면 세계 어느 곳에서든지 인터넷 서비스를 활용할 수 있게 된다. 최근 민간기업을 통한 우주개발이 활성화되면서 대량 인공위성을 사용한 인터넷 서비스를 계획하고 있다. 그 선두에 스페이스X와 원웹이 있다. 불과 몇 년 내로 수백개 혹은 수천개의 인공위성을 띄워서 이를 구현하는 것이 목표다. 물론 우주쓰레기와 정지궤도위성과의 통신간섭 등의 문제가 상존하기는 하지만 이는 해결될 것이다. 날로 발전하고 있는 우주개발은 우리의 삶을 더 풍요롭게 만들어 줄 것이다. 여기서는 초고속 인터넷 서비스를 준비하고 있는 두 개의 업체를 중심으로 그 내용과 계획에 대하여 알아보고자 한다. We want to implement the high-speed Internet service using satellites. Using satellites overcomes regional limitations. With a satellite antenna, you can use the Internet anywhere in the world. Recently, the space development by some private companies has been activated, and Internet services using mass satellites are planned. The beginners of internet services using satellites are the SpaceX and the OneWeb. The goal is to implement hundreds or even thousands of satellites to the space in just a few years. Of course, there will be the problem of space debris and the communication interference of geostationary satellites, but these problems should be solved. The ever-developing space development will make our lives richer. Here, we will focus on the contents and plans of two companies preparing for broadband internet service.

        National Competency Standards(NCS) are the system which have the content of such technology, knowledge, attitudes required to perform a job in industry. NCS has developed job competency units and learning module. We are interested in the learning modules of the high-speed network services. High-speed network services have Internet access service, VoIP service and IPTV service. We need a test-bed for applying the high-speed network services. This paper propose a test-bed for high-speed network services to practice learning modules.

        TEIN2를 활용한 고대역 전송계층 프로토콜 테스트베드 구축 및 성능 분석

        현재 초고속 인터넷 사용자가 급증하고 있고, 광대역 네트워크 인프라의 구축이 늘어나고 있다. 하지만, 현재 인터넷에서 널리 사용되고 있는 TCP는 기존의 인터넷 환경에 적합하며, 대역폭과 지연의 곱이 큰 네트워크 환경의 트래픽 전송에 있어서는 그 효율성이 낮은 상태이다. 이런 문제점을 개선하기 위해 최근 광대역 네트워크에 적합하도록 개선된 혼잡 제어 알고리즘에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 그 성능 검증이 대부분 시뮬레이션에 의해 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 TCP의 문제점과 이를 해결하기 위해 제안된 고대역 전송 프로토콜(High Bandwidth Transport Layer Protocol)을 간단히 살펴보고, 이의 성능 검증을 위한 실제 테스트베드를 구축하였으며 TEIN2 국제연구망을 통하여 한국, 중국, 독일 3개국 간 국제협력 실험을 통해 고대역 전송 프로토콜의 성능을 측정하고 문제점을 분석하였다. Recently, high-speed Internet users and broadband network infrastructure are increasing. However, the TCP protocol widely used in the Internet is an appropriate transport only for the legacy Internet, it is inefficient for traffic transport for network environments with large bandwidth-delay product. In order to remedy this problem, there have been many researches about improved congestion control algorithms for broadband networks. In these studies, most of performance evaluation has been done by simulations. In this paper, after we reviewed the proposed high bandwidth transport layer protocols, we implemented a real testbed, measured the performance and analyzed the problems of high-speed transport protocols through the international research network TEIN2 between three nations, Korea, China, and Germany.
