As the rapid growth of industrial society, many enterprises are inclined to 100 ppm management, even more to ppm management from the traditional 3σ management method. Therefore, it needs to extend process capability index for guarantee of high quality assurance level to ppm unit. Thus, in this paper, using the probability of standard normal distribution from 3σ tp 6σ, which was developed by an author, the optimal numbers of inspection facility is determined for guarantee of process capability index and quality assurance level. Also, high quality assurance level is determined by considering the precision of inspection when one and two sided specification is given for the probability which is out of the specification limit.

Removal of Cochlodinium polykrikoides using a novel material produced from sediment - A field study

The present study was conducted in three fields at Namhae to examine the removal efficiency of organic free, heavy metal immobilized sediment on Cochlodinium polykrikoidesand on sea water quality. The present study results concluded that removal efficiency was depends on the initial number of red tide cells. There was no drastic change in the sea water quality after sediment spray. For the comparison of effectiveness of betonite, zeolite and lime were mixed with sediment did not show any marked difference in removal. Finally, the present study evaluated 5Og/m² sediment is Sufficient to remove 100% cells density, even though various environmental factors are interfering the mechanism.

폐경후 골다공증 환자에서 체질량지수에 따른 Alendronate의 효과

배경 : 폐경후 골다공증은 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 현재 Alendronate는 폐경후 골다공증의 치료제로서 널리 쓰이고 있다. 저자는 Alendronate의 골밀도에 효과를 알아보고 골다공증의 위험인자에 따른 Alendronate의 반응 정도를 평가하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 방법 : Alendronate를 평균 12개월간 복용한 35명의 폐경후 골다공증환자에서 체질량지수와 폐경후 기간에 따른 치료효과를 조사하였다. 결과 : 전체 대상군에서 Alendronate 10㎎을 12개월간 투여한후 골밀도의 평균 변화율은 요추와 대퇴골 경부에서 각각 7.83±7.39%와 2.99±9.22%이었다. 과체중군에서 평균변화율은 요추와 대퇴골 경부에서 각각 7.15±4.5%와 3.05±2.86%였다. 양군간에 통계적 유의성이 있는 차이는 없었다. 폐경후 7년이 경과되지 않은 군에서의 평균변화율은 요추와 대퇴골 경부에서 각각 6.9±5.3%와 5.71±0.08%였다. 양군간에 통계적인 유의성이 있는 차이는 없었다. 결론 : 마른체형이 골다공증의 발병에는 영향이 있으나, Alendronate 치료효과의 차이는 없는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 더불어 폐경이 있고 7년이 초과된 군과 년이 경과되지 않은 군에서의 Alendronate 치료효과의 차이는 없는 것을 확인할수 있었다. 이는 골흡수가 상당히 진행된 상태에서도 Alendronate가 치료효과를 가지고 있음을 반영한다고 할 수 있겠다. Postmenopausal osteoporosis is a serious health problem. The aminophosphonate Alendronate is widely used for treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. We studied the effect of l0㎎ of alendronate given daily for mean 12 months on bone mineral density in 35 women(mean age 61yrs. mean BMI 23.24㎏/m^(2)) with osteoporosis. An over weight group is defined such that BMI was above 23㎏/m^(2). All the women received 1500㎎ calcium carbonate daily. The bone mineral density of L-spine and femoral neck was measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. Alendronate increased BMD at mean 12 months at the L-spine (7.15±4.5%) and femoral neck(3.05±2.86%) in normal women. Alendronate increased bone mineral density at 12 months at the L-spine(6.00±5.3%) and femoral neck(4.17±4.87%) in overweight women. There was no difference between two groups. In the less than 7 years group of postmenopausal duration. alendronate increased bone mineral density at 12 months at the L-spine(6.9±4.9%) and femoral neck(3.18±7.1%). In the more than 7 years group of postmenopausal duration, alendronate increased hone mineral density at 1% months at the L-spine(6.5±5.3%) and femoral neck(5.71±0.08%). There was no difference between two groups. In postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, therapy with alendronate produced significant increases in BMD of the L-spine and femoral neck in both group. There was no difference between normal and over-weight groups. and between less than 7 years group and more than 7 years group of postmenopausal duration.

스테레오 비젼과 레이저포인터를 이용한 거리 측정 시스템

In this paper, we studied on the environment map building for the autonomous mobile robot navigation using the vergence controllable stereo camera system. First of all, distance measurements are necessary to build the environment map. So, we present the distance measurement method using the stereo camera system and a laser pointer. To measure the distance using the stereo camera system, finding the common points in the left and the right images are needed. In this study, we use a laser pointer to solve this problem. Secondly, we present the method how to obtain the 3-dimension position information using 3-D geometric schematic of the stereo camera and the measured distance information. This information is essential to the mobile robot navigation. Finally, we prove the presented method experimentally. An image of a corridor is taken by the stereo camera. The door and pillar in this image are landmarks. Therefore, we find such landmarks in the image and measure the 3-D position information for those landmarks. And the, we construct the environment map for the navigation of the mobile robot.

Eugene O'Neill의 mask-like effect 기법

O'Neill uses masks largely to demonstrate impossibility of conveying one's true inner self. Mask-like effects are present in The Emperor Jones and The Hairy Ape where actual masks are not used, preparing for the employment of actual masks in the plays like The Great God Brown and Lazarus Laughed. We find the same preoccupation with concealment and discovery of masks in Emperor and Hairy where actual masks are not used. Jones of Emperor cannot escape from his black identity and Yank of Hairy belongs to nothing in the end. Masks contribute to the dominent impression of mysterious environments hostile to both Jones and Yank, and masks also express powerfully man's insecure position in a menacing self-defeating universe where they are not welcome. Via mask-like elects in Emperor and Hairy, O'Neill expresses his standard themes of illusion-reality, alienation, dissociation and hidden conflict of the mind.

개에 있어서 심장사상충증을 동반한 창상성 횡격막 허니아의 수술적 치료 1례

A 7-month old. castrated male Shih-tzu dog was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with history of depression. dyspnea. mild scale. tachypnea. exercise intolerance and severe leanness. On physical examination. cardiac arrhythmias was heard and heart worm ELISA test was positive. Microfilaria was found on the direct blood smear. Survey radiographs showed loss of diaphragmatic line and cardiac silhouette. displacement of lung fields and presence of gas filled intestines in the thoracic cavity. Rib fracture and pelvic fracture with callus formation were found incidentally. On the basis of physical examination and radiographic findings. it was diagnosed as traumatic diaphragmatic hernia and heart worm disease. Herniorrhaphy was performed. Postoperatively. it was treated for heart worm disease and scale. There is no evidence of recurrence of diaphragmatic hernia and heart worm disease over 1 year.

Box-Jenkins 모형을 이용한 X￣관리도와 CUSUM관리도의 민감도 분석

It is revealed that, as the use of automated manufacturing is increasing and the process inspection technology is improvements in industry for recently years, the data from mass production system is exhibited some degree of autocorrelation. The operation characteristics of traditional control charts developed under the assumption of independence may be adversely affected by the presence of serial correlation. Therefore, we try to explain a autocorrelated construction by being in contact with a time-series models, so called the Box-Jenkins forecast models, which has been proposed as a very good forecasting tool and allows to distinguish the variations resulted from a autocorrelation structure from one due to unusual but assignable causes. In this paper, autoregressive/moving average parameters in the use of Box-Jenkins forecast models is estimated, and a sensitivity analysis is given by comparing X control chart with CUSUM control chart for the variation of error or forecast residuals.

능이버섯 단백분해효소의 특성

능이버섯으로부터 추출한 육류단백질 분해효소의 특성을 알아보기 위하여 능이버섯 조효소액을 제조하고 능이단백분해효소의 활성 측정조건을 결정하고, 우육과 우육단백획분의 분해에 미치는 영향을 전기영동법과 분광광도법으로 조사하였다. 능이버섯 단백분해효소는 pH 7.5, 73∼78℃에서 최적활성을 보였으며 50℃이상의 온도에서 변성하는 경향을 나타내었다. 능이버섯 단백분해효소는 키위,배에 비해 건조 중량 당 단백분해능이 각각 66배, 990배 높았으며, SDS-PAGE에 의한 우육단백에 대한 분해 특성 역시 능이버섯에서 우수하였다. 우육단백의 수용성, 불용성, 염용성 획분에 대한 능이버섯(100unit 첨가)의 가수분해 능력은 papain, bromelain, collagenase, bovine protease보다 월등히 높게 나타났다. This study was conducted to investigate the proteolytic properties of Sarcodon aspratus on meat proteins. The analytical condition for the measurement of enzyme activity was determined and the effect of Sarcodon aspratus on beef protein and its fractions were determined by SDS-PAGE and spectrophotometric method, respectively. Optimum temperature and pH of Sarcodon aspratus was 73-78℃, pH 7.5, respectively. However, the enzyme tended to be denatured at 50℃ for 10 min incubation. Proteolytic activity of Sarcodon aspratus was higher than those of kiwi and pear by 66 and 990 times by dry weight, respectively. It was appeared that proteolytic activity of Sarcodon aspratus toward beef protein by SDS-PAGE was prominent when compared to those of kiwi and bromelain. Furthermore, Sarcodon aspratus showed highest proteolytic activity toward all the beef protein fractions, which was followed by collagenase and bovine protease.

O'Neil was intersted in the relation between man and God. He thought the duty of modern playwright is to find the substitute God to cure the sickness of today. In Dynamo, O'Neill's hero Reuben chooses the dynamo, the God the Electrictiy, as a substitute God and believes it as a real symbol of God, as his most profound religious perception. Reuben sees the dynamo as essentially creative and intelligent thing, and at the same time he also finds his mother or God the Mother in the dynamo. therefore, his mother is goddess who animates dynamo, and is the Great Mother of Eternal Life, electricity. The dynamo is an icon of God the Mother. Dynamo appeared to be concerned with a man's attempt to find God the Mother in dynamo's energy. The concept of electrical energy as being somehow equivalent to God is a recurrent image. In other words, dynamo itself is not only a machne the symbolizes God the Mother, but also al solidified God the Mother and mother's love. Therefore, the religious doctrine that says everything eventually progresses into dynamo is in fact the same as the mother's love that is reborn through love, impregnation and birth. That is according to Nietzsche's theory of eternal circle of life and birth that O'Neil had followed. In the final analysis, O'Neill defined that the mother is the immediate and ever-lasting existence. Dynamo in Dynamo symbolizes the man's longing for the mother's affection and expresses the man's wish to return the mother's womb.

『끝없는 나날』에서의 오닐의 대체신

O'Neill thought the death of the old God and the failure to find the substitute are the sicknesses of today. The modem playwright's task, he thought, was to trace the new life-giving formula. He wrote a series of plays about searching for the substitute for the church emphasizing religious faith. In Days Without End, the protagonist John Loving is seeking an answer to man's quest for spiritual certainty. The process of his seeking is, at the same time, the author O'Neill's mental process and spiritual struggles. In the process of seeking salvation after losing his Catholic faith, John chooses Atheism, Anarchism and Socialism. O'Neill was trying to know individual anarchists, socialists and communists, and actually, he himself used to be an active socialist and anarchist. By 1921, O'Neill had rejected all social, political and religious dogma because he realized that legislative or social fiat could harrass the dignity of human beings. After getting out of socialism, the author and his hero John are devoted to Oriental philosophy. Thematically, the central idea of oriental philosophies - Buddism and Taoism - is the source of everything, the governing power of all life which rules the beginning and the returning of all existence. Returning back to the initial state is the destiny of all things, the fulfillment of the purpose of existence. The cycle - all things return to their root ― can explain many of O'Neill's works easily. Robert in Beyond, Cybel in The Great God, the protagonists in Mourning, and Kublai in Marco come into the world with the author's life-long faith in Oriental mysticism which is a cyclical movement. John, once through with the East, then moves to Greek philosophy and Pythagorism and numerology for his spiritual discoveries. However, John and O'Neill cannot find shelter at any place. That is because sympathy toward the old God is still in their minds. After all they return to the faith of their childhood. The author and his hero John realize that life can laugh only with God's love. They find spiritual peace beneath the foot of the Cross.
