This study seeks to examine the relationship between business resources (through VRIN: Valuable - valuable, Rare - scarce; Inimitable - difficult to adapt, Irreplaceable - hard to replace), dynamic capability, external cooperation, and efficiency of startups operating in the seafood export sector. Research data was collected randomly and conveniently from 250 enterprises in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Vietnam, from October 2020 to December 2020. After excluding those ineligible, the remaining 204 enterprises meet the research conditions. With the support of SPSS-AMOS 22 dedicated software, using the 5-step Likert scale and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the study conducted analysis steps such as verifying convergence, discriminant value, unidirectional and scale reliability when giving the components correlated freely in the critical model by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) analysis. Results of the study have shown that the enterprise resource factor - VRIN has a positive impact on dynamic capability, and outside cooperation. However, in contrast to previous studies, we found that the relationship between enterprise resources - VRIN and performance as well as the relationship between dynamics capacity and performance is not clear. This shows that seafood exporters need to promote, exploit and effectively use this precious resource to improve business efficiency.

Purpose: This article focuses on exploring the associations between job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Specifically, this study estimates the impacts of Vietnamese employees’ job satisfaction on their organizational commitment and turnover intention in FDI enterprises. Research design, data and methodology: The measures are adapted from previous studies to develop a questionnaire with a seven-point Likert scale. The dataset is directly collected from 227 respondents who are employees at FDI enterprises situated in the North of Vietnam. The dataset is analyzed by quantitative approaches using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. Results: The results show that while turnover intention is positively correlated with monthly income, it is negatively correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Also, organizational commitment is positively associated with job satisfaction among employees at FDI enterprises in Vietnam. Conclusions: The findings of this study will serve as useful references for administrators of FDI enterprises and policymakers to promote employees’ job satisfaction and retain skilled employees.

Objective: The rapid and reliable detection of the African swine fever virus (ASFV) plays an important role in emergency control and preventive measures of ASF. Some methods have been recommended by FAO/OIE to detect ASFV in clinical samples, including real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR). However, mismatches in primer and probe binding regions may cause a false-negative result. Here, a slight modification in probe sequence has been conducted to improve the qualification of real-time PCR based on World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) protocol for accurate detection of ASFV in field samples in Vietnam. Methods: Seven positive confirmed samples (four samples have no mismatch, and three samples contained one mutation in probe binding sites) were used to establish novel real-time PCR with slightly modified probe (Y = C or T) in comparison with original probe recommended by OIE. Results: Both real-time PCRs using the OIE-recommended probe and novel modified probe can detect ASFV in clinical samples without mismatch in probe binding site. A high correlation of cycle quantification (Cq) values was observed in which Cq values obtained from both probes arranged from 22 to 25, suggesting that modified probe sequence does not impede the qualification of real-time PCR to detect ASFV in clinical samples. However, the samples with one mutation in probe binding sites were ASFV negative with OIE recommended probe but positive with our modified probe (Cq value ranked between 33.12-35.78). Conclusion: We demonstrated for the first time that a mismatch in probe binding regions caused a false negative result by OIE recommended real-time PCR, and a slightly modified probe is required to enhance the sensitivity and obtain an ASF accurate diagnosis in field samples in Vietnam.

Objectives: Tuberculosis (TB) and drug-resistant TB (DR-TB) are national health burdens in Vietnam. In this study, we investigated the prevalence of rifampicin (RIF) and/or isoniazid (isonicotinic acid hydrazide, INH) resistance in patients with suspected TB, and applied appropriate techniques to help rapidly target DR-TB. Methods: In total, 1,547 clinical specimens were collected and cultured using the BACTEC MGIT system (Becton Dickinson and Co.). A resazurin microtiter assay (REMA) was used to determine the proportions of RIF and/or INH resistance. A real-time polymerase chain reaction panel with TaqMan probes was employed to identify the mutations of rpoB and katG associated with DR-TB in clinical isolates. Genotyping of the identified mutations was also performed. Results: A total of 468 Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates were identified using the REMA. Of these isolates, 106 (22.6%) were found to be resistant to 1 or both antibiotics. Of the resistant isolates, 74 isolates (69.8%) were resistant to isoniazid (INH) only, while 1 isolate (0.94%) was resistant to RIF only. Notably, 31 isolates (29.24%) were resistant to both antibiotics. Of the 41 phenotypically INH-resistant isolates, 19 (46.3%) had the Ser315Thr mutation. There were 8 different rpoB mutations in 22 (68.8%) of the RIF-resistant isolates. The most frequently detected mutations were at codons 531 (37.5%), 526 (18.8%), and 516 (6.3%). Conclusion: To help prevent new cases of DR-TB in Vietnam, it is crucial to gain a comprehensive understanding of the genotypic DR-TB isolates.
Artocarpus nigrifolius: Cytotoxic and Antibacterial Constituents

Six known compounds including α-amyrin 3-acetate (1), β-sitosterol (2), betulinic acid (3), friedelan-3-one (4),artochamin B (5), and 2-C-methyl-D-erythritol 4-O-α-D-glucopyranoside (6) were isolated from the stem barks and leaves of Artocarpus nigrifolius (Moraceae) for the first time. Their structures were identified by spectroscopic methods as well as comparison with literatures. Cytotoxicity and antibacterial activity of 1-6 were evaluated. Results showed that artochamin B (5)possessed the highest cytotoxicity towards MCF7, Lu, HepG2,and KB cell lines with IC50 values of 4.59, 20.00, 3.60, and 1.18μg/mL, respectively. It also inhibited the growth of Gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus), whereas inactive on the growth of both Gram-negative bacteria and yeast.

The nanometer complex oxide La0:7Sr0.3Mn0.6Zn0.₄O₃ was prepared by using a Sol-Gel method with citric acid as a ligand. Trong bài viết này tác giả. phân tích uyển ngữ trong tiếng Hàn qua sự chuyển dịch về ý nghĩa. Uyển ngữ được dùng phổ biến ở tất cả các miền văn hóa, dân tộc. Uyển ngữ không chỉ đơn thuần là một cách biểu hiện ngôn từ mà nó chính là một trong những văn hóa ngôn ngữ. Uyển ngữ trong tiếng Hàn không chỉ có sự khác biệt ở cách biểu hiện từ ngữ mà về mặt ý nghĩa cũng có sự thay đổi. Theo đó có thể chia làm bốn trường hợp, cụ thể như sau: Thứ nhất, uyển ngữ nâng cao ý nghĩa so với nghĩa gốc. Thứ hai, uyển ngữ hạ thấp ý nghĩa so với nghĩa gốc. Thứ ba, uyển ngữ mở rộng ý nghĩa so với nghĩa gốc. Thữ tư, uyển ngữ làm mờ nghĩa gốc. Uyển ngữ được dùng rộng rãi ở mọi miền văn hóa và được dùng thay thế cách nói trực tiếp khi phải đối mặt với vấn đề cấm kị, tế nhị, nhạy cảm, dễ làm mất lòng hoặc gây bối rối cho người nghe nhằm làm cho nội dung phát ngôn lịch sự hơn, đẹp hơn, nghe nhẹ nhàng hơn. Tuy nhiên bên cạch đó, thay vì nói trực tiếp thì uyển ngữ lại dùng cách nói vòng, nói tránh nên đôi khi không thể hiện được hết nội dung cần truyền đạt. Việc vận dụng tốt phép uyển ngữ cũng chính là việc nắm bắt, hiểu được văn hóa sinh hoạt của dân tộc đó, đất nước đó, làm sao để người nghe luôn cảm thấy thải mái và được tôn trọng. Cùng với sự phát triển của nền văn hóa, thời đại thì việc sử dụng uyển ngữ cũng đang dần phát triển để trở thành một phạm trù ngôn ngữ thể hiện nét đẹp trong giao tiếp của con người. Trong tương lai sự phát triển ngôn ngữ của con người sẽ còn có nhiều thay đổi và theo đó là sự xuất hiện của nhiều hình thức uyển ngữ nữa.

<P>The performance enhancement of long-distance remote simultaneous measurement of strain and temperature based on a fiber Raman laser is proposed and demonstrated by an etched fiber Bragg grating (FBG) fixed on a quartz plate. An all-FBG-based Raman fiber laser with a high extinction ratio of more than /spl sim/50 dB is clearly obtained. After reducing the cladding diameter of the FBG to enhance the strain sensitivity, its half segment is fixed firmly on a quartz plate to respond to temperature only, while the other half of the etched FBG is free to respond to both temperature and strain. The lasing wavelength shift and separation occur with the temperature and strain change, respectively. The strain sensitivity is significantly enhanced to be approximately 1.6 times higher than that of a conventional FBG. A simple and effective technique for simultaneous measurement of strain and temperature for long-distance sensing applications of more than 50 km is readily achieved.</P>
