The paper presents design of a disc-on-disc-type CNC (Computer Numerical Control) tribometer aimed at experimental characterization of friction and wear behaviors of automotive dry clutches. The torque or ormal force, slip speed, friction interface temperature, and closing time are accurately controlled during tests by employing rotational- and vertical-axis servodrives and a water-cooling system built in both axes. A compact two-axial piezoelectric torque and force sensor is built in between the vertical-axis spindle and the pressure plate, in order to provide direct measurements of friction torque and normal force. The slip speed is sensed by using an encoder placed at the rotating table that carries the friction plate. The disc temperature is controlled by means of imposing a delay between two consecutive clutch closing cycles, variable cooling pump speed, and a valve that can bypass the coolant flow around the pressure plate. The torque control ystem is realized in a cascade structure including inner normal force and vertical axis speed controllers. The closing time is controlled by means of “electrical inertia” implemented through rotational-axis servomotor torque control. The tribometer performances are demonstrated through a study of dry clutch friction plate wear rate characterization.
멀티미디어를 활용한 교육방법 변화의 경향과 과제 : 광주광역시 교육청 사례를 중심으로 A Case of Kwangju School District

본 연구의 목적은 학교 교육 현장에 어느 정도 컴퓨터 활용기반이 구축되어 있는가, 그리고 학교교육 정보화률 추진하기 위해서 어떠한 요인이 충족되어야 할 것인가를 광주광역시 교육청의 사례를 기초로 검토하는 것이다. 학교교육의 문제점으로 지적되는 삶과 유리된 교육 지식전달 위주의 교육, 창의력을 기르지 못하는 교육 둥이 지적되었고 이를 위해 컴퓨터를 활용할 수 있다고 보았다. 현재 학교교육 헌장에 보급되는 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 실태는 열악한 상황이기 때문에 광주광역시 교육청과 전남교육청의 사례에 비추어볼 때 하드웨어 투자를 위한 장기적인 계획 수립과 시행, 소프트웨어 개발체제의 구축, 행·재정적 지원, 사회적 지원 분위기 확산, 각종 자문을 위한 컨소시엄 구축, 교사연수, 적극적 소프트웨어 개발과 활용을 위한 유인체제의 확립과 시행 등이 효과적인 교육정보화를 위한 관건임을 지적되었다. The first task of this paper was to examine the value of multimedia for solving problems of schooling such as decontextualized instruction, implementation of knowledge-centered curriculum, and fail to ehance creative thinking skills. This paper also analyized the status of information infrastructure in schools. After discussing these aspects, a short history of recent educational innovations in Kwangju is given. Attention is then turned towards more practical issues surrounding incorporation of information technology in the Kwangju school system. Results from this case study showed that several factors needed to be considered. These include: (1) building social consensus about educational technology innovations, (2) attaining administrative and financial support, (3) in-service teacher training, (4) distribution of advanced hardware and software, (5) cooperation with colleges and companies, (6) reward and incentive system.
Thomas Hardy의 Far from the Madding Crowd에 관한 硏究 (Bathsheba의 유순화)

There is a great deal of complexity about Thomas Hardy's literature, for the two contrasting factors exist in his skill of laying out the literary material. But in his works it can be found that those contrasting factors are presented as the main sources of his ambivalent literature. The purpose of this paper is to find Bathsheba's taming in Far from the Madding Crowd and to define it as a Bildungsroman. Most of Hardy's world of literature is a tragedy caused by want of harmony between the two contrasting factors. But his earlier work, Far from the Madding Crowd ends in a happy ending. And there Bathsheba's taming is accomplished by the balance between realism and fantasy. The taming is on the same level with a hero's Building in his character and environment emphasized in most of the English Bi-ldungsromans. Here I came to the conclusion that Far from the Madding Crowd, unlike his later works, is transformed into a kind of Bildungsroman.
Thomas Hardy 의 The Return of the Native에 나타난 Plots에 관한 硏究

The investigator's purpose of this thesis is to survey Hardy's pantheism through his plots in The Return of the Native, and find out the real truth of his dual theme. First of all, the writer's discussion is placed upon how nature, love, and chance act as plots against Hardy's characters. Of course, Hardy's pessimistic literature is a tragic one in which man fights against the inconsistency of Fate, 'Life offer-to deny.' Further investigation is extended to his philosophy, that is, his dual theme. According to Cockshut, Hardy has two contrasted temperamental traits: one is the sense of Plato's myth of the cave, and the other the sense of intense sympathy. In addition, Two features of his many-sided personality appear dominant: the sense of dignity and the sense of awe. Here, Hardy forms a sense of timelessness, as if man were tiny and faint against the grandeur and strangeness of a university. It is Hardy's pantheism and that is why his pessimism is formed. Lois Deacon says Hardy's pessimism is rendered strong 표 possibly incestuous love affair which Hardy had in his youth. Anyway, Hardy's theme is a combination of pessimism and determinism which is his dual theme. Briefly, this hypothesis may be applied to Hardy's literature. One is a deterministic theme in which we have to cope with Fate, 'Life offers-to deny.' and the other a fatalistic theme in which Fate is more religiously interpreted as an arbitrary power, a personal force like our own. Unlike contemporary writers, Hardy neither slanders nor disregards man's fraily, man's ambitions and woman's vanities, but he pleads. for, and loves, them all the more for that reason. Hardy's art is, in a sense, to create a type of human being, beautiful, noile and good. Hereby his dual theme combined in his works enables us to experience an emotional catharsis. Finally, the investigator adds that Desmond MacCarthy, speaking of Hany, says that Hardy's art is to dignify sorrow and disaster.
시간지연을 갖는 불안정한 플랜트에 대한 3요소 PID제어기의 설계에 관한 연구

In this study, the synthesis of three-element PID controller for an open-loop unstable plant with time delay is proposed. Control problem such as stabilizing an open-loop unstable plant, servo-tracking, and disturbance rejection can be treated independently by each element of the controller. Tuning rules for each element of the controller are based on the loop gain and phase criterion of root loci, the internal model controller, and feed forward controller design method. The performance of the proposed controller was presented by computer simulations of example problems.
입력-제한 시스템을 위한 자기동조 제어 알고리즘의 개발

Self-tuning control algorithm for an input-constrained systems is developed and implemented in this study. Magnitude of control input for small motors is generally restricted to low level due to actuator saturation. The bounded-gain control algorithm proposed in this study yields smoother control input within the magnitude constraints comparing with the existing Clarke's suboptimal control algorithm. In the proposed algorithm, the system output responds fast at the expense of smoothness of input variation, as the weighting factor is increased. For the DC servo motor control, the system performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with that of the existing algorithm by computer simulation and experiment. The control programs are written in 8086 & 8087 assembly languages for real-time control. The output responses of both algorithms are similar, but smoothness of input variation using the proposed algorithm is verified.

Avant-grade composers are researching anew and are differentating a range of creative music through various field facing each other in contemporary society. If we think from the viewpoint of "Playing and Understanding Contemporary Music" some performers who play contemporary music are interested in avant -grade music In the case of playing as of they do not understand the meaning of the music, and also some performers seem to dislike the avant-grade music. In the case of playing as if they do not understand the meaning of the music, this is mostly caused by defects of avant-grade composers. We think that composition of contemporary music is difficult, because of the creative work required the metaphysical technique of atonal and 12-tone, and the requirements of technique which make not a plater(plating without meaning thought ect.) but a performer(plating with image, thought, feeling etc.) that's the responsibility of composers, and composing music without thought(ideology) is meaningless creation In curious field of contemporary music, that instrument is the machine, of course, <Ensembles for Synthesizer> 1964 of Milton Babbitt and <Gesang der Junglinge Deustche Grammophone DG 138811> of Karlheinz Stockhausen are exceprions. As avant-grade composers could create a new style, it is a significantly different work among Bartok, Stravinsky and the other avant-grade composers including myself. Brotok and stravinsky's musical styles were seemingly related to folk idioms in the first half of the twentieth century, but my avant-grade style is related to and employs the text of the traditional Oriental painting abd its idioms utilize them to create new styles The Four Gracious Plants was representative of sense equilivrium of paintings and plastic art (a conception of the key center is gradually weak and the traditional key center breakdown so that the paintings can be explained by the equally significant keynote sound of the 12-tone or atonal). according to this theory, we can realize the meaning of 12-tone method or atonal technique in creative composition of the avant-garde century. As we understand the meaning of the avant-grade music, the proposed woodwind Quintet is created, to be composed on the philosophical thought of the oriental painting, the Four Gracious(Plum, orchid, chrysantthemum, and bamboo). it is not the repeating of old-fashioned wording, but different dimensional art that thoroughly studies perfection and passes on this creation to one’s descendants. hance, we can accept uprightly this creation’s meaning. In my point of view, creating over thought and ideology is a perfect realization of meaning, so that the painting appears in its original beauty of meaning, and that’s the music that the true contemporary(avant-grade) requires. In creative composing, composers of contemporary music always have a feeling and change so that they adapt to the contemporary. therefore, continuously, the viewpoint of oriental thought and may contribute to the fluency of artistic civilization.
수종의 구강위생 방법에 따른 인공 초기 우식법랑질의 재석회화에 관한 비교 생체연구

With a view to evaluating the effect of topical fluoride application in vivo, enamel slabs taken from artificial carious lesion produced by Hydroxyethylcellulose system were mounted in acrylic mandibular removalbe appliances and worn by 4 male subjects for two weeks. Control subjects brushed 4 times a day with non-fluoridated dentifrice. Experimental subjects also brushed 4 times a day but wash MFP dentifrice(G2), plus 0.05% NaF mouthrinsing(G3) or with MFP dentifrice plus 0.05% NaF mouthrinsing. After performing different oral hygiene regimen, surface morphology and histological profile in depth along with Ca, P content in layers were studies using SEM, polarizing light microscope, EPMA, EDX and WDX. The results were as follows ; 1. Remineralized lesion in all groups showed smoother and less porous surface than original carious enamel lesion. 2. Under polarizing light microscope, artificial carious lesions showed typical subsurface demineralization; The lesion body showed positive birefringence, and the inner sound enamel and intact surface layer showed negative birefringence. When compared to the original lesions, remineralized artificial carious lesion showed decreased lesion depth with increased thickness of intact surface. This features were more distinct in the case of topical fluoride application groups(group 2, 3, 4). The body of remineralized lesion in group 1, 2 revealed continuous pattern, whereas group 3 and 4 showed interrupted charicter. 3. From Ca & P profile analyzed by WDX, maximum mineral loss of most lesions was shown to be detected at around the area of 80㎛ from surface roughly. The intergroup rank of remineralizing rate based on WDX data in descending order was group 4, 3, 2 and 1.
