In the original design of K2 tank the Vertical Sensor Unit(VSU) was mounted to measure the attitude of the main gun to enhance the hit probability. In this research, as a part of efforts to reduce the cost of K2, it was theoretically simulated and evaluated to use the data from Inertial Navigation System(INS) for the calculation of the gun attitude instead of the direct measurement using VSU. It was found that the negative effect of INS approach is negligible and the elimination of VSU is technically possible and beneficial to the system.
G-induced Loss of Consciousness(G-LOC) 예측을 위한 신체 부위별 Electromyogram(EMG) 신호 분석

G-induced Loss of Consciousness(G-LOC) can be predicted by measuring Electromyogram(EMG) signals. Existing studies have mainly focused on specific body parts and lacked of consideration with quantitative EMG indices. The purpose of this study is to analyze the indices of EMG signals by human body parts for monitoring G-LOC condition. The data of seven EMG features such as Root Mean Square(RMS), Integrated Absolute Value(IAV), and Mean Absolute Value(MAV) for reflecting muscle contraction and Slope Sign Changes(SSC), Waveform Length (WL), Zero Crossing(ZC), and Median Frequency(MF) for representing muscle contraction and fatigue was retrieved from high G-training on a human centrifuge simulator. A total of 19 trainees out of 47 trainees of the Korean Air Force fell into G-LOC condition during the training in attaching EMG sensor to three body parts(neck, abdomen, calf). IAV, MAV, WL, and ZC under condition after G-LOC were decreased by 17 %, 17 %, 18 %, and 4 % comparing to those under condition before G-LOC respectively. Also, RMS, IAV, MAV, and WL in neck part under condition after G-LOC were higher than those under condition before G-LOC; while, those in abdomen and calf part lower. This study suggest that measurement of IAV and WL by attaching EMG sensor to calf part may be optimal for predicting G-LOC.

In this paper, we propose BCMR (Block Classification with Monitor and Restriction) to ensure the isolation and to reduce the interference of blocks between a garbage collection and a wear leveling. The proposed BCMR monitors an endurance variation of blocks during the garbage collection and detects hot blocks by making a restriction condition based on this information. The proposal induces a block classification by its update frequency for the garbage collection and the wear leveling, so we will get a prolonged lifetime of NAND flash memory systems. In a performance evaluation, BCMR prolonged the lifetime of NAND flash memory systems by 3.95%, on average and reduced a standard deviation per block by 7.4%, on average.

Liberal or postmodern at its core, contemporary cosmopolitanism is an attempt to negotiate both globalization and multicultural particularism. this paper critically discusses three positions in today's cosmopolitanism: the liberal-universalist project of "cosmopolitan democracy"; the post-identitarian case for "actually existing cosmopolitanism"; and the "communitarian cosmopolitanism" offering apologia for the nation-state and internationalism. Archibugi's "cosmopolitan democracy" is an ideal response to the many problems and crises on our globe which seem to call for positive world governance. Yet doubts arise as to whether the transnational power of "a world parliament" will not be turned into a new global oligarchy. Arguments for "actually existing cosmopolitanism" invite no less criticism. Above all, the notion of the multiple belonging of "minoritarian cosmopolitans" comes curiously close to the viewpoint of frequent flyers, a new privileged class in the age of global capitalism. Finally, "communitarian cosmopolitanism" takes a stand against postnational discourses, stressing on local solidarity and democratization. The stress, though needful enough, should on local solidarity and democratization. The stress, though needful enough, should not lead us into an alliance with ethnocentric nationalism; local concerns should instead be substantially articulated with cosmopolitan interests.

이 연구는 동시대 미술의 다원주의 미술의 경향에서 두드러지게 드러난 일상 통합의 문제를 분석한다. 이를 위해서 예술이 미학의 대상으로 대두된 시기로부터 20세기 미술을 거쳐 오늘날에 이르기까지 예술이 여러 장르로 범주화된 경향을 고찰한다. 시간 예술에 대한 공간 예술, 청각 예술에 대한 시각 예술과 같은 범주화는 동시대에서는 더 이상 유효하지 않다. 20세기 중반 이후 예술 통합이 가속화되었기 때문이다. 20세기 미술은 새로운 미디어를 다루는 예술가들에 의해서 다양한 장르 간 통합이 전개되었을 뿐만 아니라 새로움을 찾는 현대 미술이 일상의통합마저 도모한다. 본고는 이미 일상을 깊숙이 끌어안은 현대 미술의 다원화 경향을 이해하기 위해서 단토의 예술종말론이 야기한긍정적 다원주의 미술에 대한 고찰과 더불어 보드리야르의 미술무가치론이 야기한 부정적 견해를 함께 고찰했다. 이제 예술의 일상 통합에 관한 연구는 부정적 비판을 고려한 채 긍정적인 논의의 방향성이 무엇인지 살펴볼 과제를 남겼다. 본고는 니콜라 부리오의 포스트 프로덕션의 개념을 통해서 ‘부정과 긍정’의 선택의 문제가 아니라 예술을 위한 사용과 사용 주체의 인식이 더욱 주요함을 주장했다. 본고는 예술이 수용되는 오늘날 예술 현장에서의사회적 맥락과 소통 행위를 주목하면서 또 다른 연구의 방향성으로 전개될 필요성이 있다. 본고는 이러한 연구를전개하기 위한 하나의 방향타가 될 것이다. This study analyzes the problem of integration with the everyday life of art, which is prominently revealed in the trend of pluralistic art in contemporary art. Categorizations such as spatial art vs temporal art and visual art vs auditory art are no longer valid in contemporary times. This is because art integration has accelerated since the mid-20th century. In the 20th century art, not only the integration between various genres was developed by artists who deal with new media, but also modern art seeking novelty promotes the integration of everyday life. In order to understand the pluralistic trend of modern art that has already embraced our daily lives, this paper examines the positive pluralistic art caused by Arthur Danto s eschatology and also the negative views caused by Jean Baudrillard s art worthlessness. Now, research on the daily integration of art leaves the task of examining the direction of positive discussion while considering negative criticism. Through Nicola Burio’s post-production concept, this paper asserts that it is not a matter of the choice of “negative and positive” but that it is important to use it for art and the perception of the subject of use. This paper needs to be developed in another direction of research, paying attention to the social context and communication behavior in the art scene today, where art is accepted. This paper will serve as a rudder for developing such a study.

Injection molding is one of the most common operations in polymer processing. Good quality products are usually obtained and major post-processing is not required. However, residual stresses which exist in plastic parts after ejection affect the final shape and mechanical properties. Residual stresses are caused by polymer melt flow, pressure distribution, non-uniform temperature field, and density distribution. Residual stresses are predicted in this study by numerical methods using Hypermesh™, Moldflow™ and ABAQUS™. Residual stresses are measured by two methods, the Layer removal and Hole drilling method, but in this paper, we use hole drilling method because automotive part has complex shapes. We have presented that Hole drilling method is applicable to measure residual stresses. Residual stress distribution predicted by the thermal stress analysis is compared with the measuremental results obtained by Hole drilling method. And then we can verify them though 3D Scanning datum.
Effects of Body Movements in Using Virtual Reality Headsets

Although reasonably priced portable virtual reality (VR) devices are being rapidly introduced, there still exists a critical problem related to the visually induced motion sickness, which is largely caused by both actual and perceptual movements induced in users’ vestibular systems. Thus, this study examines whether engaging in body movements (hand gesture vs. no hand gesture) makes changes to users’ VR experience and perceptions. Results indicated that body movements induced during VR interactions lead to greater arousal, and the effect of body movement (on users’ feelings of presence) was moderated by eyewear usage.

Objectives: The necessity of samples for analysis requested by working environment monitoring institutes (WMIs) has grown recently. The collection of samples of a few chemical substances requested by WMIs is allowed under the current occupational safety and health act in Korea, leading to an expansion of samples for analysis requested by institutes (SRIs). The objective of this study was to identify the number of institutes for analyzing requested samples (IARS), SRIs, and their participation in a non-mandatory proficiency test. Methods: Questionnaires were completed by all WMIs. The collected information was quantity of analysis equipment, sorting of chemicals from SRIs, and the number of SRIs. This was compared in terms of the participation in the non-mandatory proficiency test. Results: All WMIs in Korea responded to the survey, establishing a 100% response rate. There were 52 (29%) IARS among the 179 WMIs in Korea. The total number of samples of acid for ion chromatograph (IC) analysis requested by WMIs was 21,165, which is the most. Even the number of IARS for crystalline silicon oxide was less than other top-five IARS. The total amount of samples was 13,863, which was the second most. The calculated participation score for IARS was significantly higher than other WMIs (p<0.001). According to participation in the non-mandatory proficiency test by type of substance, such as crystalline silicon oxide and formaldehyde among IARS, the number of SRIs from those IARS was significantly higher than IARS that did not participate in the proficiency test (p<0.05). Conclusions: IARS had a high frequency of participation in the non-mandatory proficiency test and the number of SRIs at IARS participating in the proficiency test was higher among IARS. With the revision of the occupational health and safety act in Korea, the number of IARS participating in the non-mandatory proficiency test might increase.
