지도좌표를 가진 정보의 통계적 분석은 GIS의 중요기능 중 하나로 인정되고 있다. 그 중 가장 기본적인 분석의 하나로 점사상에 대한 밀도분석이 이루어지고 있다. 밀도분석은 일반적으로 라스터 분석의 일부로 간주되고 있으며, 적합한 밀도분석을 위해서는 kernel 반경으로 알려진 검색반경의 결정이 중요한 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 연구 결과에서 검색반경 설정에 유용한 것으로 알려진 -지표를 이용하여, 비즈니스 GIS 분야에 축적된 점사상의 밀도 분석에 적합한 반경을 추정하고, 추정된 결과를 기반으로 점사상의 특성에 따른 -지표의 거동을 고찰하였다. 연구결과 점사상이 대상지역의 일부 지역에서 크게 밀집되는 경우에는 -지표가 대상지역의 크기와 무관하게 일정한 반경에서 극대값을 보이기 때문에 -지표를 이용하여 검색반경을 설정하는 것이 유용함을 알 수 있었다. 반면, 점사상이 대상지역에 고루 분포하는 경우에는 -지표의 극대값이 나타나는 반경이 대상지역의 크기에 따라 영향을 받기 때문에 -지표를 이용하여 검색반경을 설정하는 것이 적합하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 -지표를 이용한 점사상 밀도의 검색반경 설정에는 점사상의 분포특성이 고려되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. Statistical analysis of the coordinate information is regarded as one of the major GIS functions. Among them, one of the most fundamental analysis is density analysis of point features. For analyzing the density appropriately, determining the search radius, kernel radius, has critical importance. In this study, using -index, known as its usefulness for choosing the kernel radius in previous researches, radius for density analysis of various point features are estimated, and the behavior of -index is studied based on the estimated results. As results, -index is not suitable to determine the search radius for the point features that are evenly distributed with small clusters, because the pattern of the -index is depends on the size of the study area. But for the point features with small number of highly clustered areas, -index is suitable, because the pattern of the -index is not affected by the size of study area.

IMF 이후 구조조정에 치중하던 은행이 최근에 대형화를 은행의 생존전략으로 삼아 점포망의 확대를 시도하고 있다. 은행의 점포는 영업의 가장 중요한 채널임과 동시에 자체적으로 광고효과를 가지는 마케팅의 역할을 수행한다. 따라서 점포 배치의 적절성이 은행 실적에 주는 영향은 은행의 상품구성이나 인력에 비해 작지 않다. 본 연구에서는 모든 은행의 전체점포를 금융수요로 개별은행 점포를 사건으로 가정하여 D-지표를 구하였다. 개별은행의 전체점포와 상위 20%의 실적을 내고 있는 점포를 금융수요와 각각 비교하여 구한 D-지표를 비교 분석한 결과, 효율적으로 점포를 배치하여 지역거점 점포를 금융수요에 적절히 대응시킨 은행의 실적이 그렇지 않은 은행에 비해 우수함을 증명하였다. 이는 적절한 점포전략의 수립이 단순한 점포망 확대보다 선행되어야 함을 의미한다. After IMF, banks focused restructuring for rationalization of management, in recent they are expanding their branch network for survival strategy. Branches are main channel for sales and marketing post having advertizing effects. So appropriateness of branch network, as well as its products or human resources, is quite important for bank?s performance. In this study, D-indices are evaluated on the assumption that the branches of all banks are environments and the branches of each banks are events. Comparing and analyzing the D-indices of all branches of each banks with that of top 20% branches in performance of each banks, the banks which locates their strong footholds on financial environment properly have superior performance than others. This means that the branch strategy is needed prior to the network expansion.
Structural Insights into the Conformational Diversity of ClpP from Bacillus subtilis

ClpP is a cylindrical protease that is tightly regulated by Clp-ATPases. The activation mechanism of ClpP using acyldepsipeptide antibiotics as mimics of natural activa-tors showed enlargement of the axial entrance pore for easier processing of incoming substrates. However, the elimination of degradation products from inside the ClpP chamber remains unclear since there is no exit pore for releasing these products in all determined ClpP structures. Here we report a new crystal structure of ClpP from Bacillus subtilis, which shows a significantly compressed shape along the axial direction. A portion of the handle regions comprising the heptameric ring-ring contacts shows structural transition from an ordered to a disordered state, which triggers the large conformational change from an extended to an overall compressed structure. Along with this structural change, 14 side pores are generated for product release and the catalytic triad adopts an inactive orientation. We have also determined B. subtilis ClpP inhibited by diisopropylfluoro-phosphate and analyzed the active site in detail. Structural information pertaining to several different conformational steps such as those related to extended, ADEP-activated, DFP-inhibited and com-pressed forms of ClpP from B. subtilis is available. Struc-tural comparisons suggest that functionally important regions in the ClpP-family such as N-terminal segments for the axial pore, catalytic triads, and handle domains for the product releasing pore exhibit intrinsically dynamic and unique structural features. This study provides valuable insights for understanding the enigmatic cylindrical degradation machinery of ClpP as well as other related proteases such as HslV and the 20S proteasome.
안전한 e-Navigation을 위한 해상교통관제 시스템의 정보교환 보안구조 설계

해양 분야에서 “e-Navigation”의 개념이 2005년 처음 소개된 이후, 최근 2∼3년 전부터 국제해사기구(IMO)와 항로표지협회(IALA)에서 이행전략과 기술 표준화가 급속히 추진되고 있다. 특히 해상교통관제시스템(VTS : Vessel Traffic Service)은 항행지원정보교류가 가능한 육상국으로서 선박 통항의 안전과 효율성을 증진시키고 환경을 보호하는 e-Navigation의 핵심적 시스템으로 인식되고 있다. 최근 IALA VTS Committee에서는 출항에서 도착항까지 항행지원을 위하여 VTS 시스템간 정보 교류(IVEF:Inter-VTS Data Exchange Format)에 대한 요청으로 표준화가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 해상의 실시간 선박 교통흐름 정보는 국가적으로도 보안에 민감한 정보로서, 테러 등 역기능에 대한 우려가 있어, 안전한 정보교환은 필수적인 요소이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상호연동을 위한 보안 프로토콜을 설계하고 안전한 데 이터 전송을 위한 보안 구조를 제시하고자 한다. A concept of the “e-Navigation” was introduced in 2005 and implementation strategies are under way by IMO/IALA in the maritime safety area. Specially VTS is an important maritime traffic monitoring and aids to navigation system which is aims to improve safety, navigation efficiency and protect the marine environment. The demand of the inter-VTS networking has been increased and standardization is underway for realization of shore side collaboration for maritime safety in IALA. But there may be security problems in the inter-VTS networks if they have not proper security mechanism. The hacking of realtime ship position and sensitive maritime surveillance information caused a critical accident of vessel, human life and environment by terrorist. This paper aims to design of a secure inter-VTS network structure and related security protocol for secure sharing of sensitive maritime data.
기능 모델의 효과적인 활용을 통한 역공학 프로세스의 개선에 관한 연구

The necessity of the new system development arises in both defence and commercial systems industry either when a breakthrough in technology needs to be realized in the form of a brand-new system or when the existing product already in operation needs to be upgraded to satisfy the increasing stakeholder's requirements. In the latter case, it is not rare that specific system technical specifications on the existing products are not available. The purpose of this study is to investigate how to handle the difficulty when an upgraded system is required to be developed based on the existing product whose detailed technical specifications cannot be obtained. A step-by-step process is described based on the reverse engineering of the existing product. As a result, a logical system model is obtained for the product. The process developed is further enhanced and evaluated by the computer-aided system engineering tool. The resulting logical system model should be helpful in the next phase of the new product development.

This research has the purpose to develop a method to evaluate whether station’s area of influence has been formed, and verify formation of the area of influence through empirical analysis of all subway stations in Seoul. First, we created buffers of 100m intervals from 100m to 1000m, based on subway station exits, calculated the average land price of each buffer, and divided station areas of influence into 10 clusters using K-means clustering with the average land prices as values of observation. Subsequently, we have assumed a decreasing price curve from increasing distance from a nearby subway station, estimated a price curve and evaluated whether the area of influence actually exists using regression analysis of each cluster. The 10 area of influence clusters were largely divided into strong, weak, and no area of influence of subway station. The stations where the strong areas of influence are formed are mainly located in center, sub-centers, and local centers; stations where weak and no areas of influence are formed are mostly located in the adjacent areas of center or sub-centers or suburbs.
Implant overdenture impressions using a dynamic impression concept

A dynamic impression is a functional impression that records the functional movement of the patient’ own muscle and muscle attachment. This process reduces the number of random factors. This article describes a method for making a special tray using a dynamic impression concept that was made from provisional dentures used for implant healing. The individual tray is used to make a wash-impression to record the features of the mucosa in detail. The main advantage of this technique is that it provides a functional relationship of the implant components to the supporting tissues without overextension because provisional denture had been used for 2 months and the border length of individual tray was nearly the same as that of provisional denture. The delivery of the prosthesis constructed using this impression technique is time-saving because there is no need for border molding and there are fewer post-insertion appliance adjustments.

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is an uncommon tumor which is composed of spindle cells admixed with mature plasma cells and inflammatory cells. IMT is most common in the lungs and in various organs. However, it is very rare in the breast. According to the organ, there are many clinical and histological characteristics. Breast IMT usually shows developed, movable nontender mass. Radiological findings of IMT are similar to primary breast malignancy. For accurate diagnosis, histologic correlation is needed. IMT is a benign lesion and excision is the treatment of choice, but wide local excision and negative resection margin is needed due to its tendency for recurrence. Understanding of the entity and its mimicry can be helpful in avoiding any unnecessary surgical procedures, such as mastectomy with or without lymph node dissection. Herein, the case of a 29-year-old woman found to have IMT of the breast. The patient underwent a wide local excision. The gross, microscopic and immunohistochemical findings were consistent with the diagnosis of IMT of the breast.
이동통신 시스템을 위한 소스코더와 결합된 채널코딩방법에 의한 영상전송

본 논문에서는 광대역 코드분할 다중접속방식(W-CDMA : Wideband-Code Division Multiple Access)을 이용하는 전력제어된 이동통신 시스템에서 영상전송을 위한 채널모형을 설계하고, 영상 소스 데이터와 결합된 채널 부호화에 대한 설계를 하고 전송성능을 검증하고자 한다. 웨이브릿 변환 알고리즘을 이용하여 각 대역별 중요도에 따라 차등적인 크기의 블록 단위로 세분화하여 독립적으로 부호화 하였고, 영상정보의 전송에러에 대한 감응도를 고려하여 RS(Reed-Solomon)부호화시에 각각의 신호대역에 따라 분리된 RS 부호화율을 적용하여 W-CDMA 페이딩 채널 에러에 대하여 동일한 데이터율로서 더 나은 PSNR 이득을 얻도록 하였다. 또한 Truncated Hybrid Type I ARQ 방식에 의한 재전송과정에서 재전송 프레임간 Combine하여 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 차세대 영상전송 시스템으로서 기존의 독립적인 영상-채널 부호화방식에 비해 무선채녈의 열화에서도 성능의 감소가 크지 않아 효과적인 영상전송 방법임을 알 수 있었다. In this paper, we present the efficient image transmission system using designed source-channel combined coder in W-CDMA mobile communication system. In proposed schemes, we decompose the wavelet transformed hierarchical band-images into some types of different size blocks which have different properties in error sensitivity. The RS(Reed-Solomon) coder with different coding rate is used for each decomposed source blocks which has different importance. In addition, we combine retransmitted error frames in Truncated Hybrid Type I ARQ. The proposed algorithm shows efficient image transmission methods because it is not much degraded in PSNR compared with the existing not combined source-channel coder in erroneous wireless channel.
