        편측 하악 과두골절의 관혈적 치료에 있어서 예후에 영향을 줄 수 있는 인자들에 관한 임상 통계학적 연구

        The purpose of this study is to reveal the factors leading to the problem of unilateral condylar fractures and suggest a treatment guideline of treatment for good prognosis in surgical treatment, The factors can be age, sex, fracture site, degree of displacement, posterior occlusion loss, post-operative alteration of condylar head position, post-operatlve condylar head resorption, and maxillomandibular fixation period. One hundred and eleven patients with unilateral condylar fractures, who were treated by surgical method from 1990 Feb. to 2000 Feb., were studied. Minimum follow-up period was 6 months. The results were as follows ; 1. In the age group of 41 ∼60, females had significantly higher complication rate than males, therefore we must be careful about treatment of female in this age group 2 In level I fractures of the mandibular condyle, because there were abundant complications when the patients were treated with fragment removal, conservative treatment is recommended over the surgical approach. 3. There were no differences in the complication rate, in the level Ⅱ, Ⅲ fractures. but were severe complications in the cases of patients treated by Dr.Nam's method or fragment removal. Therefore, open reduction and internal fixation is recommended over Dr.Nam's method or fragment removal. 4. In level Ⅳ fractures, open reduction and internal fixation is recommended 5. Although there was a higher complication rate depending on the degree of deviation, there was no correlation between the degree of deviation and development of complications in each level of fracture 6. Because the complication rate was higher in cases of condylar resorption, vertical dimension loss, and alteration of condylar head position, we must make an effort to prevent such complications during treatment

      • 확산 화염 반응기에서의 TiO_2 입자생성 및 전달현상

        We prepared the nano-sized TiO_2 particles by the diffusion flame reactor and investigated the effects of several process variables on the generation and transport properties of TiO_2 particle. As the length from the tip of diffusion flame reactor increases, the size of TiO_2 particle increases by the coagulation between particles. The structure of TiO_2 particles prepared is almost found to be anatase. It was found that the TiO_2 particle size depends more largely on the change of reactor temperature than on the change of inlet TiCl_4 concentration.

      • 소나무-참나무 천연혼효림에 있어서의 수분 경쟁에 관한 연구

        This study is to rationalize the forest management practice based upon the growth and water competition of pine-oak natural mixed forest stands in central part of South Korea. Average volume is 259.3 m^(3)/ha for pine stands and 150 m^(3)/ha for mixed pine stands, whereas 206.5 m^(3)/ha for pure oak stands, and 71.7 m^(3)/ha for mixed oak stands. Quadratic mean diameter and quadratic mean height, basal area, and volume decrease as the direction moves from north to south, whereas the values peak at south slope and hit the lowest at the north for oak stands. The maximum water potentials measured between 12 and 14 oclock was analyzed by stand and altitude, and by direction in case of mixed stand. Water potential of pine showed higher in both pure stands and mixed stands than oak. Especially the water potential of oak in muted stands was 3 MPa, which was lower than that of pines, -2.7 MPa. The value of two species increased as the altitude gets lower. Pine has 3.2 MPa at higher altitude, -2.4 MPa at lower altitude, which are much higher than those of oak, 3.4 MPa and 2.9 MPa at higher and lower altitudes. Soil water content was high m oak pure stands than pine pure stands or mixed stands Soil water content for each direction in mixed stands tended to decrease as slope goes from north to south. Interspecific water potential and the soil moisture content turned out to be highly correlated. Under the same soil moisture content, water potential of oak was lower that that of pine. Therefore, it seems that both pine and oak have high moisture requirement in the highly competitive southern slope and oak has higher moisture requirement than pine. It is concluded that, oak is in much competitive position than pine in terms of water competition.

      • 산삼 배양액 급여가 돈육의 이화학적 특성에 미치는 영향

        Berkshire를 이용하여 70일간 산삼 배양액 급여 시 육의 이화학적 특성에 미치는 영향은 다음과 같다. 산삼 배양액의 급여에 의해 육의 수분, 조단백, 조지방, 회분, pH, 가열감량, 콜레스테롤 함량, 육색, 조직감의 응집성과 검성, 포화지방산 및 불포화지방산의 비율은 차이를 보이지 않았다. 보수력, 지방색 L^(*)값, 지방산 중 linoleic acid(18:2), arachidonic acid(20:4), 필수지방산의 함량, 아미노산 중 threonine, glutamic acid, valine, isoleucine, leucine, histidine, lysine 및 총아미노산 함량은 산삼 배양액의 급여에 의해 감소하였다. 전단가, 조직감의 표면경도, 경도, 씹힘성, 지방산 중 stearic acid(18:0), oleic acid(18:1) 함량, 아미노산 중 serine, glycine, cystine, methionine, tyrosine 및 phenylalanine의 함량은 산삼 배양액의 급여에 의해 증가하였다. 본 연구결과를 종합하면 산삼 배양액의 급여는 돈육의 경도를 증가시키는 효과 외에 뚜렷한 이화학적인 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 이러한 이유는 급여된 산삼 배양액 내에 함유된 생리활성 물질의 함량이 낮고, 급여수준이 낮은 결과로 사료되어진다. A total of 60 pigs (Berkshire) were used to investigate the effect of dietary artificial culture medium of wild ginsengs (CMG) on physico-chemical characteristics of pork. About 60 kg pigs were randomly alloted into one of two experimental diet groups (C:commercial diet feed; T:commercial diet + 1 L CMG per day for 70days). Pigs were slaughtered at approximately 110 kg live weight, and chemical composition and physico-chemical characteristics were measured in pork loin. Moisture, crude protein, crude fat and ash were not significantly different by dietary artificial culture medium of wild ginsengs. Water-holding capacity was decreased by dietary artificial culture medium of wild ginsengs, while shear force was increased. However, pH, cooking loss and cholesterol contents were not significantly different between two different treatments. In color, L^(*) of fat was decreased by dietary artificial culture medium of wild ginsengs. Brittleness, hardness and chewiness were increased in dietary artificial culture medium of wild ginsengs group. In fatty acid, stearic acid (18:0) and oleic acid (18:1) were higher in dietary artificial culture medium of wild ginsengs group, whereas linoleic acid (18:2) and arachidonic acid (20:4) were higher in control group. In amino acid, serine, glycine, cystine, methionine, tyrosine and phenylalanine were higher in dietary artificial culture medium of wild ginsengs group, whereas threonine, glutamic acid, valine, isoleucine, leucine, histidine and lysine were higher in control group.

      • Poly(methy methacrylate-co-chloro phenyl acetylene)의 열 및 전기적 특성

        The thermal degradation behavior of poly(alkyl methacrylate) and conducting polymer, poly(chloro phenyl acetylene)(PCPA) mixture was analyzed using the gel permeation chromatography(GPC), pyrolysis gas chromatography(PGC) and thermog-ravimetric analyzer(TGA) under nitrogen gas flow of 30 ml/min at various heating rates ranging from 4 to 20℃/min. According to increasing temperature and frequency, electrical properties were analyzed using the LCR meter and electrometer. The morphological analysis at interface of mixture was carried out using the scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS). The values of activation energy of thermal degradation in the mixture determined using the Fried-man's method were 37∼61 Kcal/mol. The thermal degradation mechanism of PMMA and PCPA mixture was observed to be main chain scission under nitrogen environment. The values of activation energy using electric conductivity determined above and bellow of the glass transition temperature were 0.501∼0.848 eV and 0.201∼0.451, respectively.

      • 18年生 잣나무 次代檢定林의 樹高·直徑生長의 遺傳力 및 改良效果

        The objectives of this study were to analyzed to variation and to estimate heritabilities and genetic gains for height and diameter growth of 18-year-old open-pollinated progenies of Korean White Pine in three different sites. The results were summarized as follows; 1. Family, site, block, and interactions among these factors were significant source of variance for tree height and diameter growth. The effects of family × site interaction were relatively large as compared with other source of variance. 2. Average values were 6.5m in height and 10.5cm in diameter at Kapyung site, 6.2 m and 9.8cm at Kwangju site, 4.9m and 6.5cm at Youngdong site, and 6.0 m and 9.1cm overall these three sites, respectively. 3. Family of No. 20 showed excellent growth of 6.8m in mean height, 10.5cm in mean diameter overall sites. 4. Individual-tree and family heritabilities were estimated 0.12-0.22 and 0.65-0.80 for height growth, and 0.05-0.15 and 0.59-0.78 for diameter growth, respectively. For overall the sites, estimates of individual-tree heritabdity was 0.38 for height and 0.25 for diameter, and those of family were 0.89 for height and 0.82 for diameter. 5. Heritability estimates varied with testing site, and that for height were higher than for diameter. 6. Given equal intensity of selection (l0%), combined selection showed the most efficient genetic gains for height and diameter.

      • 加平地域 17年生 잣나무 次代檢定林의 家系別 生長特性

        This study was carried out to investigate the Specific property for tree growth of 17-year-old progeny of Korean White Pine in Ka-pyung. The performance of the 8 general height-dbh models fitted to 1,664 height-dbh data compiled from Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ volume classes of families using linear regression method, was compared in connection with several statistical test and growth principle of height. The results can be summarized as follows : 1. Average values were 8.9±1.0cm in diameter and 5.9±0.4cm in height all over the 25 families. 2. No. 20 Family showed excellent growth of 11.3cm in mean diameter, 6.8m in mean height and 78.8m^(3) in mean volume respectively, and No.5 Family showed the badest growth of 27.0m^(3) in mean volume. 3. When volume by the difference of volume ratio ±20% in families mean volume about total mean volume were classified(Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ), average values of volume were 66.5±7.5m^(3) in upper volume class(Ⅰ), 46.3k 4.8m^(3) in middle volume class(Ⅱ) and 30.6±3.2m^(3) in lower volume class(Ⅲ) 4. By 8 general height-dbh curve model, in which individual tree height is estimated from the dbh of individual tree in 3 volume classes(Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ), there is no height differences in statistical test such as mean difference(MD), standard deviation of difference(SDD), standard error of difference(SED), coefficient of determination(R^(2)), but Parabolic, Fresse, Log, Korson and Prodan functions were no fitted in with general growth principle of height. So height-dbh curve models of Petterson, Kennel and Michailow showed statistically performance and also coincided with general growth principles of height.

        정보통신부와 행정자치부에서 추진중인 지역정보화 사업에는 지방자치제 시대에 발맞추어 지역의 특성을 살린 정보제공을 목표로 한 지역 정보화 센터를 설립ㅎ여 지역 주민들에게 생활정보, 산업정보, 행정정보를 제공할 수 있도록 계획하고 있다. 현재 지방자치단체에서는 이러한 업무를 수행할 수 있는 정보와 관련 인력조차 확보하고 있지 못하고 있으며, 또한 업무 개발 경험도 많지 못하여 지방자치단체의 자체 개발은 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 각 지역에 소재한 중·소기업들에게 제공할 수 있는 산업정보와 일반 시민들이 필요로 하는 생활정보의 기본적인 내용과 틀을 마련하여 전국의 232개 시·군·구의 지역 정보화 센터에서 활용할 수 있는 컨텐츠를 개발한다.

        이온화방사선에 의한 느타리버섯(Rleurotus ostreatus)의 ITS2 염기서열 변화

        rDNA의 ITS2(internal transcribed spacer 2)부위에 대한 이온화방사선(gamma-ray)의 영향을 알아보기 위해서 감마선을 조사한 느타리버섯(Pleurotus ostreatus)의 5종의 변이중에서 ITS2의 염기서열을 결정하였다. ITS2의 염기서열은 1 kGy 조사군(PO-5, PO-6, PO-15와 PO-16)에서 변화되지 않았으나, 2kGy 조사군(PO-14)에서는 1개의 염기가 치환되었다. RAPD(ramdomly amplified polymorphic DNA) 양상에 의한 유전유사도의 변화가 다양하였고 섬유소성 고체검정 배지에서도 다양한 생장특성을 나타내었다. 본 연구결과는 ITS염기서열이 이온화 방사선에 의해 선량의존적으로 변화될 수 있음을 시사해 주었다.

      • 중년 이후의 남성에 있어서 알콜 섭취가 C-reactive protein 및 관련인자들에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of C-reactive protein level and related risk factors such as T-chol, TG, uric acid and albumin in middle-aged Korean men with the frequency of alcohol consumption. The subjects of the present study was 94 men of 50-years old ages men in Seoul, Korea. The subjects were classified into 3 groups by Frequencies of alcohol consumption as follows ; non-alcohol consumption group (NA), light alcohol consumption group(LA: once or twice per week), heavy alcohol consumption group(HA: drinks more than 3 times per week). The CRP and T-chol, level of HA group was higher than compared to NA group(p<.05). In terms of TG, UA and albumin concentration. there was no significant difference. however. the value of TG was slightly higher trend in the HA group. The relationship between CRP & TG, UA was shown to significantly inverse correlation and the relationship between CRP & albumin was shown to significantly reverse correlation(p<.001, respectively). From these results. there was suggested that CRP and related cardiovascular rise factors were increased with frequency of alcohol consumption and high level of blood CRP, TG, UA are potential risk factors of cardiovascular disease factors in middle-aged korean men.
