CRT 디스플레이의 패널곡률이 시각작업 수행도와 안피로도에 미치는 영향

An experiment was carried out to compare the suitability in visual tasks between flat and conventional (convex) cathode-ray tube (CRT) displays. The subjects performed visual search tasks during 2-h for detecting target words among distracters presented on the screen. The subjects' visual performance was evaluated with average time and number of errors made to complete the tasks. Visual fatigue after the search tasks was also evaluated in terms of degradations in accommodative power and subjective ratings. Difference was not found in task time between the two displays, but flat CRT showed a lower number of errors than conventional CRT. The difference in number of errors was statistically significant at 0=0.05. Although there was no difference between the displays in degradations of accommodative power, results from the subjective ratings showed that flat CRT yields less fatigue than conventional CRT. The results partially support the hypothesis that panel convexity of CRT displays has a significant effect on the performance and fatigue during visual tasks and thus flat CRT is the better display than conventional one.
급속응고된 비정질 Zr-Be 합금 용가재를 이용한 Zircaloy-4의 브레이징 특성

This study was conducted to investigate the brazing characteristics between Zircaloy-4 nuclear fuel cladding tubes and bearing pads with filler metals of amorphous $Zr_{1-x}Be_x$(0.3$\leq$x$\leq$0.5) binary alloy, in which they were produced in the ribbon form by the melt-spinning metod. The crystallization behavior, stability, hardness and micro-structure of brazed zone were examined by X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, micro-Vickers hardness test, optical microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. $Zr_{1-x}Be_x$(0.3$\leq$x$\leq$0.4) amorphous alloys were crystallized to $\alpha$-Zr with increasing the temperature, and the rest were transformed to ZrBe$_2$at higher temperatures. On the other hand, $Zr_{1-x}Be_x$(0.4$\leq$x$\leq$0.5) amorphous alloys were crystallized to $\alpha$-Zr and ZrBe$_2$, simultaneously. The thickness of the layer brazed with amorphous alloy was increased with increasing the beryllium content due to the higher diffusion of Be. The morphology of brazed layer with PVD Be filler metal showed dendrite while that brazed with amorphous alloys appeared globular. Micro-Vickers hardness of brazed zone increased as the beryllium content of filler metal was decreased.
홍수 예.경보 체계 개발을 위한 연구 - 화옹호 유역의 유역 확률홍수량 산정 -

The objective of the study is to prepare input data for FIA (Flood Inundation Analysis) & FDA (Flood Damage Assessment) through rainfall-runoff simulation by HEC-HMS model. For HwaOng watershed (235.6 $km^{2}$), HEC-HMS was calibrated using 6 storm events. Geospatial data processors, HEC-GeoHMS is used for HEC-HMS basin input data. The parameters of rainfall loss rate and unit hydrograph are optimized from the observed data. HEC-HMS was applied to simulate rainfall-runoff relation to frequency storm at the HwaOng watershed. The results will be used for mitigating and predicting the flood damage after river routing and inundation propagation analysis through various flood scenarios.
