Castleman' s disease is a rare, reactive lymphoid proliferation of unknown cause and pathogenesis. Depending on histololgic findings, it has been divided into two distinct histologic subtypes that include hyaline-vascular type(90%) and plasmacell type(10%). This disease occurs most commonly in mediastinal lymph nodes and cervical lymph nodes, inguinal lymph nodes respectively. But occurs rarely in retroperitoneum. We report a case of hyaline-vascular type asymptomatic Castleman' s disease of the retroperitoneum in a 47-year-old man.

For the purpose of unraveling whether early loss influences the later depression, 500 housewives in the Seoul area were sampled by the multi-stage probabilistic stratified sampling. The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the Life Event Stress Rating Scale of Housewives (LERS) constructed by Yoo et al. (1994) were administered to all the subjects. Early loss was defined as the loss before 15 years of the subjects age. The early loss, as a whole or as in sperate age groups, proved to have no influence on the BDI score. In the younger groups under the 50 years of age, the early loss according to each area of recent life event stress did not affect BDI score. But, only in the elderly group over the age 50, the experience of recent life event stress was proved to have influence on the BDI score in the early loss group. The early loss group, compared to the loss-free group, was lower in the BDI score when they had no experience of stress factors "the economy and job" and "the change of life circumstance", but equivalent when they had experience of the above stresses. The early loss group was lower in the BDI score when they had no experience of stress factor "separation", but higher in the BDI score when they had experience of stress of recent separation. The above findings suggest that the early loss group, with no experience of recent stress, is less depressed in the elderly life than the loss-free group and the recent life event such as "the separation" possibly provokes depression in the early loss group.

?? patriotism. As time goes by, the change of its technical and training have been sluggish. For the purpose of the its development, it is important for us to understand the history of Kumdo. In addition, there should be enough discussion on Sports Kumdo and Traditional Kumdo. The steps toward its developement are below. First, Korean Kumdo technical had been to Japan and its transformed sports using long bamboo sword had crossed to Chosun. Second, while Sports Kumdo is man to man style including the functional training and rapid speed. Traditional Kumdo is natural one to train body and mind including, various are of fencing. Third, Sports Kumdo is to win others but Traditional Kumdo is to improve themselves after the struggle with oneself. Fourth, the former has a focus on the striking method on the contrary that the latter has an emphasis on both the art of fencing using wood and the art of cutting of fencing using sword. Fifth, Sports Kumdo is for the minor, but Traditional Kumdo is for the common. Sixth, considering that sports Kumdo hardly kill partner and play fair, it reflects the spirits through fencing sports which are also modern sports spirits. It is said possibly that the Kumdo base on the respect for each other through the art of fencing. That is, it make our spine and our society better. Also, though the respect for each other there can be raised agreement of spirit and body. Therefore we must make efforts to recreate original Korean Kumdo by using two kinds of Kumdo and to unify the training course.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the joint moment on lower extremity during a developpe devant. Data were collected by Kwon3D, KwonGRF program. Two professional modem female dancers were participated in this experiment. Subjects performed a developpe devant in meddle heights. On the axes of X, Y, Z, it was shown that the maximum joint moment was occurred in hip joint. The moments are plotted during developpe devant. The ankle muscles generate a plantar flexion moment and the knee muscles generate a flexion moment and The hip muscles generate a extension moment. So these muscles of joint muscles were known to play a key role in keeping the body balance while doing developpe devant. In addition adduction moment occurred at hip, knee, an ankle in the order of amount, we could assume from this data that turn out motion started from the hip joint. There was small active turn out possible below the hip joint. A small amount of extra turn out could be obtained when standing because of flexion between the foot and floor, which could be used to give a passive external rotation force to the whole leg and this could produce a rotation between the knee and foot. This passive external rotation could produce very damaging results. Therefore, lower extremity joint muscles such as hip, knee, and ankle muscle should be trained to keep the body balance and prevent injury during developpe devant performance. And for the safe and perfect turn ort performance, hip joint abduction, the most important external rotating muscle for turn out is needed to train and full stretching should be done in advance.
Ferroxplana Y-type(Ni₂Y) 磁性 분체의 합성 및 자기적 특성

In has been prepared by a coprecipitation method for Ferroxplana Ni₂Y(Ba₂Ni₂Fe O ) magnetic particles, which is one of the hexagonal ferrite. The coprecipitates were synthesized by adding aqueous solution of BaCl₂·2H₂O, Nicl₂·6H₂O and FeCl₃·6H₂O(of which the mole ratio is Ba²+:Ni²+:Fe³+=1:1:6) to a mixture of NaOH and Na₂CO₃ solution. The shape of Ferroxplana Ni₂Y magnetic particles obatined at the calcined temperature 1,100(℃) was hexagonal plate-like, average particle size was 2(m), and aspect ratio was more than 7.

Distribution and nature of geological fractures including joints and faults was investigated for the Mt. Namsan of Seoul. The mountain consists of banded gneiss of Precambrian age and biotite granite of Jurassic era. The gneiss is marked by well developed gneissosity of NNW-strike and NE-dip. The granite is medium to coarse- grained in texture and is composed principally of quartz, plagioclase, K-feldspar, and bioite. A big fault has been discovered at the 200 m northwest side of the main peak (262 m). It strikes N30。 E and dips 80。SE, and extends about 300 m. Pole-density diagram was established on the basis of orientation data of 73 joints measured. Nature of joints such as spacing, extension, termination type, and occurrence frequency was analysed and tabulated. It is expected that numerous fractures within the Mt. Namsan granite, together with textural and mineralogical features of the biotite granite, have attributed to the weathering processes of the rocks.
