      • PHC 말뚝의 하중전이실험을 통한 참 지지력의 산정

        Although a number of static pile load tests have been performed in this country, re-consideration on the interpretation and loading methods is needed, because of their less usefulness in practice. For this study, a static loading testing was performed for a long instrumented PHC pile, which was installed in asnd layer overlying thick soft clay. The shaft resistance of the pile had been monitored for a long time after installation, and then the static load testing was performed by the quick load test, unlike the recent Korean practice. Using the measured data, the elastic modulus of pile, residual stress and true resistance on the pile were determined. In the event, it was found that the residual stress on the pile, which remained prior to the static loading, significantly affects the shaft and toe resistances. Also, it was realized that the setup effect for the long pile is significant.

      • 응급실을 내원한 구강악안면외과 안면골 골절 환자의 변화에 대한 비교 연구

        Although there have been many clinical studies about the facial trauma in the recent as well as in the past, severity and frequency of facial trauma are reported multifarious. It seemed to be because of variety of social, cultural, and environmental factors, and the view point of investigators. In this study, we investigated about the patients visiting emergency room during recent 4 years(2004-2007), and compared with retrospective study during former 10 years(1992-1996, 1999-2003) in Dept. OMS Pusan National University Hospital. We assessed the cause, type, demographic, etc, and analyzed alterations of facial bone fractures during past 3 periods. The results were as follows. The total number of patients was increased. 429 patients treated for maxillofacial fractures between January 1992 and December 1996, 466 patients treated between January 1992 and December 1996 and 764 patients treated between January 2004 and December 2007. The male-to-female ratio were 4.6:1, 3.9:1, and 4.16:1, respectively. Patient in the age groups of 10-19 years and 20-29 years increased in the latter two periods. Assaults and falls are decreased gradually, but slip down s are increased. Traffic accidents are still major cause of facial trauma. The mandibular fractures showed the highest incidence thorought three periods. Symphysis fractures of mandible was increased and condyle fractures of mandible was drecreased in the third period.

        Crack growth △a obtained by unloading compliance method on ductile material is underestimated with respect to directly measured crack growth △a from experimented fracture specimen which is tinted with heat. In this study, an equation calculating △a which reduces the amount of underestimation is proposed by using the phenomenon of shear lip formation. From experiments, it is seen that this proposed equation gives △a considerably corresponding with △a measured directly.

      • 性別 및 年齡에 따른 體格과 體力의 特性과 變化에 關한 縱斷的 硏究Ⅱ : Emphasised on College Men of Department of Physical Education 體育專功 大學生을 中心으로

        The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics, change in physique and physical function of college students majoring physical education and Taekwondo (454 males and 64 females of age groups ranging from 18 to 26). The results are as following: 1. The male group of 23yrs old in physical education showed highest values in 7 items(Weight, Chest Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness and Suprailiac Skinfold Thickness). 2. In the Physical function, the male group of 18yrs old showed highest values in Power, Flexibility, and then 21yrs old at Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and 23yrs old at Grip Strength, and 25yrs old at Blood Pressure, respectively. 3. In the physique, the male group of 22yrs old showed highest values in Weight, Chest Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, and then 24yrs old Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, and 19yrs old at Height, Upper Limb Length, respectively. 4. In Physical Function, the 22yrs old showed highest values in Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and then 23yrs old at Side Step, Trunk Extension, but 18yrs old showed lower Values in Grip Strength, Side Step, Vital Capacity and Blood Pressure. 5. The female group of 22yrs old showed highest values in 8 items(Height, Sitting Height, Waist Girth, Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length, Skinfold Thickness), and then 18yrs old at 5 items (Weight, Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth), respectively. 6. In the physical function, the 22yrs old showed highest Values in Grip strength, Back Strength, Power, 5 Minute Run, and 18yrs old at flexibility, Harvard Step Test, respectively. 7. In the change of the physique for two years(1988-1989) in the male group, majoring Physical education the 22yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 20yrs old in 3 items, but 18yrs old showed decrease in 3 items. 8. In the change of the physical function for two years in the male group, the 20yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 21, 25, 26yrs old in 3 items, but the 19yrs old showed decrease in 6 items, and 18, 22 yrs old in 5 items, respectively. 9. The change of the physique for two years in all female group, of 18, 19, 20, 21yrs old showed increase in 11 items except Skinfold Thickness. 10. In the change of physical function for two years in female group, the 18yrs old showed increase in 3 items, and then 20yrs old in 5 items, but 19, 22yrs old decreased 12 items, respectively. 11. The highest significant difference in physique between male and female was found in weight(mean Value 17.5%), and the lowest difference was found Thigh Girth, Calf Girth(1,3%), Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length(2.5%). 12. The Highest difference in physical function was Strength (mean Value 40%), Vital Capacity (33%), Power(22%), but Lower Trunk Flexion, Foot Balance(3.4%). 13. In the difference of Physique and physical function between physical education major and taekwondo major, the physical education showed higher values in skinfold Thickines (mean Value 16.5%), Weight, Waist Girth(4.7%) and Strength(33%), Endurance(5.6%), but subjects majoring Taekwondo showed higher values in Flexibility and Foot Balance. 14. In all male groups, Waist Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness, Back Strength, Sargent Jump, Trunk Extension and Diastolic Blood Pressure were showed a significantly related at 0.001 level.

      • 비탈면 복원용 주요 초화류의 피복률 및 피복속도

        Research was initiated to investigate coverage rate and speed of 19 herbaceous plants for the slope rehabilitation during 22 weeks from  June 1, 2017 to November 1, 2017. The coverage experiment was done by seeding mixed with sand in the 11cm upper diameter vinyl pot, filling with soil media and Masato for drainage. We could divide coverage rate among 19 herbaceous plant entries as 6 groups (Ⅰ;very  high Ⅱ; high, Ⅲ;medium high, Ⅳ;medium low, Ⅴ;low, Ⅵ;very low) based on the  final germination rate and divide coverage speed as 5 groups(A;very fast, B;fast, C;normal,  D;slow,  E; very slow) based on days to the 30% coverage. Considering coverage rate of 19 plant entries, Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt., Chrysanthemum burbankii, Centaurea cyanus, Dianthus sinensis and Silene armeria were regard as high coverage rate of dominating species while Lolium perenne, Lotus corniculatus var. japonicus, Lespedeza cuneata, Poa pratensis, Festuca arundinacea, Medicago sativa and Coreopsis lanceolata as competitive species following dominating species. As far as coverage speed concerned, Coreopsis tinctoria, Centaurea cyanus, Silene armeria, Medicago sativa, Chrysanthemum burbankii and Dianthus sinensis were very fast when compared with low speed plants of Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascens, Arundinella hirta, Artemisia princeps var. orientalis, Cosmos sulphureus and Chrysanthemum boreale.

        The purpose of this study was to test the effects of speed reading development program which was constructed as the clinical treatments of the five psycho-phypical variables of eye movements and perceptual processes. The clinical treatments of this program were integrated with a reading activity to form a wholeness of behaviors and to synthesize the interaction effects among treatments. The output behaviors could be developed and explained, not in terms of fixation, comprehension, and saccading, but in terms of power, flexbility, speed, rhythm, focussing, concentation, and comprehension. Along with the four weeks' manipulation of an experimental time series design, both speed and comprehension variables of college students' reading behaviors were significantly developed at the level of reading their textbooks at the rate of about two thousand and six hundred words per minute which were easily contacted.

      • 감람석세사 배토에 따른 골프장 그린의 조류(Algae) 방제 효과

        Algae which was commonly found on greens in golf courses had a bad influence on putting quality. Synthetic chemical fungicides could effectively control algae but also cause environmental problems. Olivine sand as the substitute of chemicals was tested for controlling algae of golf course greens. In the pond water treatment, the pond water with olivine sand was clean when compared to algae-polluted pond water with river sand. In the topdressing treatment, olivine sand topdressing was effective for controlling algae when compared to no sand topdressing, river sand topdressing and half olivine + half river sand topdressing. The reason why algae could not grow in the olivine sand was probably caused by lack of nutrition such as nitrogen and phosporous in the olivine sand of ore-law material. High temperature of quick drying water also represented the repressing effect of algae content and prevented the growth of algae after olivine sand topdressing.
