        Information society, which require 'knowledge-workers' having creative and active problem-solving ability, needs total paradigm shift of educational systems from existing teachers-oriented to learner-oriented education. Accordingly, online learning has emerged as a new alternative of educational methods. Online learning is to facilities active interactive in the network community, which is resulted from 'development of information technology' 'need of lifelong education' and 'emphasis of sociable and collaborative works'. The purpose of this research is to find out the answers about the following eight research questions. The findings of this study, taken together, imply various instructional strategies for better online instruction. First, learning achievement is not difference according to learning expectation, motive, and previous learning level. Second, clearly group a purpose of the learning is showed highly learning achievement level of on-line learners better off-line learners. Third, learning achievement is showed highly at learners group of on-line instruction better lecture instruction.

      • 평생교육사 교육과정에 대한 인지도 분석 : 충청지역의 대학생들을 중심으로

        Lifelong education has been increasingly emphasizing as need person change in information society. These change in society have been variously described as a shift from non-formal, continuing education etc. Also rapidly society change has been in consequence not only extension with explosive knowledge quantity but also impossible to teaching all contents at school education. The purpose of the study intended to annalize recognition to lifelong education of university students: independence variable are gender, school year, order, social economic status. The methods of this study were analysis of through research questionnaire. The subject of this study included 373 university students in the curriculum lifelong education in ChungCheong Area. The responded questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS computer software program. The Major findings and conclusion of the study are as follows: First, a university students appeared to lower natural, Art and Physical order rather than teacher and human knowledge order in the requirement of lifelong education. Second, the job appeared to higher early expect pay but decrease hope persons going to work give lower in the actuality pay. Third, the education of informatization part appeared to most strengthening has recognized in university students. Fourth, the lifelong education part appeared to going learn affirmatively the woman rather than the man. Also it see to most low recognition degree in the freshman. Five, the natural and technology order students appeared to generally most low recognition degree in the lifelong education. Also, social economic status see to not difference at recognition degree of lifelong education in the class. The conclusively recognition degree of lifelong education know in accordance with other difference background or need at social members. Accordingly, lifelong program an offer be reasonable background in the persons at public institution.

        Death and Consequences: Razumov's Murderous Betryal in Conrad's Under Western Eyes

        Much attention has been paid to the moral significance of Razumov’s betrayal of Haldin, but an important aspect of the betrayal has been largely ignored. In terms of consequences, the betrayal is equivalent to a homicide as Razumov’s fatal words reporting Haldin ensure his capture and execution. That the betrayal is more than simply verbal treachery can be seen in the way that Razumov’s murderous betrayal begets other acts of violence. Violence can be directed against the self as well in the form of suicide. Razumov considers for a moment drowning himself, unable to bear his moral turmoil. He confesses the truth aware of the violent retribution sure to follow. Ultimately, Razumov does not regain his moral identity, for he does not countenance the blood that is on his hands.

        파킨슨병 환자의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Background: The goal of therapeutic interventions for Parkinson's Disease (PD) is to improve the symptoms and mitigate the effect on the Quality of Life (QOL) in the individual patient. The purpose of this study was to investigate QOL and related factors in PD patients in Korea. Methods: Between January 1, 2004 and July 15, 2004, eighty-one PD patients were included. The patients were assessed using Parkinson's Disease Quality of Life (PDQL), Modified Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and K-MMSE. Results: Twenty-five male and 56 female patients were included in the study. The mean age was 60.7 years and the mean disease duration was 7 years. The male patients (p=0.07) and young age at onset (p=0.07) showed borderline correlation with PDQL score. Medical cost for PD showed significant correlation with PDQL score (p<0.001). The patients working in the daytime or spending the daytime with their spouse showed significantly higher PDQL score than those who did not (p=0.01). Among the disease characteristics, the disease duration, levodopa dosage, UPDRS score, ADL, Hoehn and Yahr stage, the presence of motor fluctuation and dyskinesia, showed that depression had a strong correlation with the PDQL score (p<0.001). On the stepwise regression analysis, the most important factor was presence of depression, disease duration and the UPDRS total score in order of strength. Conclusions: The QOL in PD patients was strongly associated with depression, disease duration, and the severity of PD. We suggest that the assessment and proper management of depression as well as other PD symptoms is necessary to improve QOL of the PD patients.

      • 평생교육 학습자들의 학습욕구 분석

        It is necessary for an adult in this rapidly changing modern society to satisfy their destitution for education, and to keeping life-long education for being fit for cultural pressure. It should be understood their educational desire for efficient and systematic development of adult education program. This study intended to annalize adult learning need which fits for our alee, area, social economic status, and marriage to satisfy adult educational needs in specific organization of this society, and provide information for systematic adult education program. The study was carried out mainly through questionnaire. This study annalize 364 answer sheets were collected form adult learners in 4 life-long education an auxiliary organ university in Cheong-ju city area. The major findings and conclusion of the study are as follows: Most of educational needs for adult learner were culture education civic life, job and specialists, informatization, and health and welfare education, least. But it showed that adult learners was different educational desire at person background First, adult learners appeared very highly cognition need job and specialists education. Second, adult learners appeared most needs thinking to the cognition of 36∼45 age in the culture education. Third, adult learner appeared much interests in health and welfare education in the metropolis area. Fourth, education of informatization appeared to most need cognition the upper class.

        교육 민주화의 재음미 : 교육제도의민주적 통제를 중심으로

        Democratization of Educational Administration and School Management Revisited Kim, Seong Yul 이 글은 교육의 민주화가 교육계의 중심 화두에서 밀려나고 있는 시점에서 교육민주화의 실현 정도를 교육제도의 민주적 통제라는 관점에서 점검해 보았다. 교육제도의 민주적 통제는 거시적 차원에서는 교육제도에 대한 국가의 통제권을 지방과 주민에게 분산하는 것을 내용으로 한다. 그것은 단위학교 차원에서는 다양한 의사수렴기구들을 설치운영함으로써 학교구성주체들에게 학교운영에 대한 의사결정에 참여시키는 것을 뜻한다. 보다 정형에 가까운 지방교육자치제의 실시는 중앙의 권한을 지방에 이양함으로써 교육제도 운영에 대한 국가의 통제권을 지방으로 분산하고, 교육위원과 교육감의 주민직선을 통하여 교육제도에 대한 지역주민의 권한을 강화시키고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나, 현재보다 중앙의 권한이 지방으로 이양되고, 지역주민들의 교육제도 운영에 대하여 보다 많은 관심을 가져야만 교육제도에 대한 지방과 주민의 통제권이 실현될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 단위학교에 학교운영위원회를 비롯하여 다양한 의사수렴 및 결정기구들을 설치하여 운영하는 것은 단위학교 수준에서 학교장 중심 학교운영구조를 열린 운영구조로 전환하고, 학교구성주체들의 참여를 통한 의사결정을 함으로써 교육민주화를 어느 정도 실현하는 데 기여하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그런데, 단위학교 수준에서의 민주화가 보다 더 진전되기 위해서는 학교단위 책임경영제가 보다 확대되고, 학교운영위원회 중심 의사결정체제가 자리 잡음으로써 열린 운영구조가 공고화되며, 학교운영에 관한 정보가 공개공유되어야 하고, 학교 구성주체들의 역할수행능력이 제고되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로, 교육민주화가 교육계의 중요한 화두가 되기 위해서는 교육 민주화를 보다 더 진전시키는 것이 교육의 질 향상에 도움이 됨을 증명하는 것이 필요함을 지적하였다.
