Quorum based Peer to Peer Key Sharing Protocol over Wireless Sensor Networks

The key establishment between nodes is one of the most important issues to secure the communication in wireless sensor networks. Some researcher used the probabilistic key sharing scheme with a pre-shared key pool to reduce the number of keys and the key disclosure possibility. However, there is a potential possibility that some nodes do not have a common share in the key pool. The purpose of this paper is to devise a peer to peer key sharing protocol (PPKP) based on Quorum system and Diffie-Hellman key exchange scheme (DHS). The PPKP establishes a session key by creating a shared key using the DHS and then scrambles it based on Quorum system to secure that. The protocol reduces the number of necessary keys than the previous schemes and could solve the non-common key sharing possibility problem in the probabilistic schemes.
Encapsulation Characteristics of Gas Molecules in the Cavities of Zeolite A

Encapsulation capacities $(V_{gas})$ of, $H_2,\;N_2,\;CO,\;CH_4$ and CO, for $Cs_{2.5}Na_{9.5}-A (C_s-A)$ and $Na_{12}$-A (Na-A) zeolites have been measured in order to understand the effect of molecular properties on the $V_{gas}$. With appropriate number of large blocking cations on the main windows of cavities in zeolite A, gas molecules can be encapsulated in both the ${\alpha}$ -and ${\beta}$-cages, resulting in much large $V_{gas}.\;V_{gas}$ is proportional to the encapsulation pressure (Pe) and is also dependent on the molecular properties of encapsulated gases themselves, especially on intermolecular forces originated from the quadrupole moments of molecules in the molecular-dimensioned cavities of zeolite A. At the low range of Pe, molecules with larger $V_{gas}$ and intermolecular forces apparently have smaller increasing tendencies of $V_{gas}$ upon increases in Pe, showing a linear relationship between the tendencies and intermolecular forces rather than their sizes. Interactions between encapsulated molecules of $CH_4$ and framework of Cs-A have been estimated and they seem to depend on the number of encapsulated molecules per unit cell. On the basis of calculated density of $CO_2$, presence of liquid-like phase for the encapsulated molecules in the molecular dimensioned cavities of zeolite A is postulated.

N/A Background/Aims: Angiogenesis, the induction of the formation of blood vessels, is critical to the development, progression, and metastasis of animal and human tumors. Tumor cells may produce factors which either induce or inhibit angiogenesis and that the onset of angiogenic activity is determined by the balance of these factors may be generalizable to other tumors. Hepatocellular carcinoma is hypervascular tumor and transcatheter arterial embolization(TAE) is widely used to treat patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma. To evaluate changes of angiogenic factors after TAE for hepatocellular carcinoma, we investigated serum angiogenin, bFGF and EGF at the pre-TAE and the post-TAE among the seven patients with hepatocelluar carcinoma. Methods: Angiogenin, bFGF and EGF concentrations in sera were measured at pre-TAE and 3 days after TAE by employing ELISA. The statistical analysis was evaluated by Student's t-test. Results: 1) Angiogenin concentration at pre-TAE and post-TAE was 197.57+28.82ng/ml(mean+standard error) and 225.89>32.06ng/ml, respectively(p=0.022). 2) bFGF concentration at pre-TAE and post-TAE was 6.71+1.83 pg/ml and 21.68+5.58 pg/ml, respectively(p=0.036). 3) EGF concentra- tion at pre-TAE and post-TAE was 195.09+40.29 pg/rnl and 258.11+36.12 pg/ml, respectively (p=0.014). No correlation, however, was present among angiogenin, bFGF, and EGF at both of pre-TAE and post-TAE state. Conclusions: These results indicate that certain angiogenic factors, such as angiogenin, bFGF, EGF, were increased significantly at post-TAE in comparison to pre- TAE, which may reduce the therapeutic effect of TAE for hepatocellular carcinoma. We suggested that the tissue injury/destruction associated with ischemia by hepatic artery embolization are generally considered to represent a fundamental stimulus for angiogenesis in post-TAE. Therefore, suppression of angiogenesis at post-TAE may be important in improving survival for the patients with hepatocellular carcinoma since tumor growth and metastasis are angiogenesis-dependent. 일차성 Achalasia 에서 공기풍선확장술로 인한 식도천공의 내과적 치험

Pueumatic balloon dilatation of the lower esophageal sphincter has been known as a primary therapy for achalasia. However, perforation of esophagus is the most common complication of pneumatic dilatation in patients with achalasia. The treatment of these patients, especially with communication of the perforated area with either the pleural or peritoneal spaces, has been focused to surgical management. We report the successful non-surgical treatment of esophageal perforation with radiographic evidence of communication of perforated area with the pleural spaces after pneumatic dilatation in a patient with primary achalasia.

This study reports the effects of NiO nanoparticle (NP) size on the sensing performance of NiO NP-decorated SnO2 nanorods (NRs). NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NRs were synthesized using a two-step process: 1) thermal evaporation of tin powders in an oxidizing atmosphere based on the vapor-liquid-solid growth mechanism and 2) solvothermal decoration of SnO2 NRs with NiO NPs. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy analyses revealed that both the SnO2 NRs and the NiO NPs were polycrystalline. Scanning electron microscopy images showed that the diameters of the NRs ranged from 100 to 200 nm and that those of the small and the large NiO NPs ranged from 20 to 30 nm and from 80 to 180 nm, respectively. The small NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NRs showed stronger response to NO2 than did the large NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NRs over the concentration range of 0.5 - 100 ppm. Decoration of SnO2 NRs with small NiO NPs resulted in enhanced sensing performance whereas decoration of SnO2 NRs with large NiO NPs deteriorated the sensing performance. The superior NO2 gas sensing performance of the small NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NR sensor as compared to that of the large NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NR sensor was attributed to a higher ratio of n-SnO2 to p-NiO and a higher number of p-n heterojunctions for the same volume of NiO in the former than in the latter. In addition, the small NiO NP-decorated SnO2 NR sensors showed selectivity toward NO2 against other competing gases such as SO2, CO2, CO, H2, C7H8 and C6H6.

이차성 식도이완불능증은 다른 질환에 동반되어 이차적으로 발생하며 위선암이 대부분인데 저자등은 최근 양성평활근종에 의한 이차성 식도이완불능증을 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The cause of achalasia is mostly idiopatic, bu secondary achalasia were occasionally found, of which gastric adenocarcinoma is by far the most common. We report a case of secondary achalasia associated with esophageal leiomyoma. The patient presented with clinical, radiologic and manometric featurese of achalasia with the the submucosal tumor on endoscopy, esophagogram, and CAT scanning of chest and abdomen. The excision of mass, segmental resection of lower esophagys and gastroesophgeal junction and esophagogastrostomy were perfomed. Histological examination demonstrated appearances consistent with leiomyoma.

Background: This study examined the results of open wedge high tibial osteotomy with using an Aescula open wedge plateand an allogenic bone graft as a surgical technique for the patients who suffer from osteoarthritis of the knee with a genu varumdeformity. Methods: From March 2007 to August 2007, 33 patients (37 cases) with osteoarthritis of the knee and a genu varum deformityunderwent a high tibial osteotomy with using an Aescula open wedge plate and an allogenic bone graft. The patients werefollowed up for more than 1 year. Before and after surgery, the correction angle of the genu varum was measured by the lowerextremity scannogram and the posterior tibial slope, the joint space distance and the time to bone union were evaluated. Thefunctional factors were evaluated using the Knee Society Score. Results: The average knee score and function score improved from 52.19 ± 11.82 to 92.49 ± 5.10 and 52.84 ± 6.23 to 89.05 ± 5.53,respectively (p < 0.001). According to the lower extremity scannogram, the mean preoperative varus angle was -1.86 ± 2.76°, andthe average correction angle at the last follow-up was 10.93 ± 2.50° (p < 0.001). The tibial posterior slope before surgery and atthe last follow-up were 8.20 ± 1.80° and 8.04 ± 1.30°, respectively (p = 0.437). The joint space distance increased from 4.05 ± 1.30mm to 4.83 ± 1.33 mm (p < 0.001). The average time to complete bone union was 12.69 ± 1.5 weeks. Conclusions: An open wedge high tibial osteotomy using an Aescula open wedge plate and an allogeneic bone graft to treatosteoarthritis of the knee with a genu varum deformity showed good results for the precision of the correction angle, the time tobone union and the functional improvement.
