        A new spectropotometric determination of citric acid was examined using carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) which has been used in petide synthesis. CDI was reacted with citric acid to form yellow acyl-imidazole derivative (λ??443nm) in dichloroethane. This colored reaction was so characteristic with tricarboxylic acid that can be used selective determination of citric acid in common carboxylic acid. As increasing the reaction temperature, the acyl compound was decomposed to produce the substance of which physical property was similar to the hydrolized compound. Citric acied was calibrated in the range of 1-6μg/ml and the extinction coefficient of the acyl-imidazole compound was 28000 in this condition.

      • 한열변증에 따른 중풍 환자의 제반특성 비교

        Object : This study was conducted as part of the national project to standardize stroke diagnosis in Korean medicine. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the characteristics of acute stroke between heat pattern group and cold pattern group. Methods : We recruited stroke patients from 5 universities(Kyung-Hee University oriental medical center, Kyung-Hee University East-West Neo medical center, Kyungwon university lncheon oriental medical center, Kyungwon university Songpa oriental medical center and DongGuk university llsan oriental medical center) from April, 2007 until February, 2010. We diagnosed them and selected 463 heat pattern patients and 182 cold pattern patients. Results : We find that the risk factor of smoking, alcohol, diet(prefer to meat) are more associated with the heat pattern group. On the other hand, inflammation history in recent 3 months and diet(prefer to sea food) are more associated with the cold pattern group. RBC, Hg, Hct, TG, CK and Cl are more related to the heat pattern group. CPT, total cholesterol and HDL are more related to the cold pattern group. Tae-eum type takes high distribution of the heat pattern group, and So-eum type takes high distribution of the cold pattern group. Conclusions : This study provides evidence that the heat pattern group have more risk factor than the cold pattern group.

      • 회전자에 정류회로를 가지는 유도전동기의 교류회로 모델에 의한 해석

        In this paper, the characteristics of induction motor which has rotor rectifier circuit are analyzed using a new six elements ac model. The effects of resistance on dc circuit which are caused by current over lap angle and voltage drop of rectifier are considered in the proposed model for this analysis. The proposed model and Sen's five elements ac model which is not considered these effects are used to analyse. and the analyzed results are compared with the experimental results in order to verify the Proposed model. It is found that the results of the proposed method are good agreement with the experimental results.

      • 빈발재발성 미세변화 신증후군환아에서 발생한 다발성 뇌경색증

        신증후군에서는 동맥 및 정맥의 혈전에 의한 혈전색전증의 위험이 높다. 이는 혈 중 응고인자 Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅶ, Ⅷ, Ⅹ등의 증가와 뇨소실로 인한 antithrombin Ⅲ의 감소, 섬유소 용해계의 변화, 혈소판 응집력의 증가에 기인하며 그 외 스테로이드 투여, 이뇨제 투여, 저체액 상태도 관여한다고 생각하나 이런 과응고현상에 대한 정확한 병태생리는 규명되고 있지 않다. 저자들은 내원 21개원 전 처음 신증후군 증상을 보였고 신장 조직 검사상 미세변화 신증후군으로 진단을 받고 스테로이드와 면역 억제제를 사용하였으나 6개월에 3-4회의 재발을 보이던 중 내원 1달 전 보호자 자의로 모든 약물 복용을 중단한 채로 지내다가 고열과 반혼수 상태를 보여 내원한 7세 남아에서 다발성 뇌경객증을 발견하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The risk of thromboembolism by arterial or venous thrombosis is high in the nephrotic syndrome. This may be due to the increased serum concentrations of the factor Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅶ, Ⅷ, Ⅹ etc, decrease of antithrombin Ⅲ due to urinary loss, the change of thrombolytic system, increase in the platelet aggregation capacity, the use of steroid, diuretics, and hypovolemic state. But, the pathophysiology of this hypercoagulable state has not been clear. A 7-year- old boy had been diagnosed as having frequently relapsing minimal change nephrotic syndrome, 21 months ago. In spite of the administration of prednisolone and cytoxan, he had presented recurrent proteinuria in the frequency of 3-4 times per 6 months. From 1 month prior to visiting emergency room, his parents discontinued his medications, therefore, he showed fever and semicomatous mental status. In brain MRI study, multiple cerebral infarcts were noted. So, the authors report a case of multiple cerebral infarcts in a patient with frequently relapsing minimal change nephrotic syndrome with a brief review of related literature.

      • 韓國産 植物中 Tannin分布에 關한 硏究

        On studying the paper chromatography of the extract from 10 kinds plants (Table 1.), it was found the paper chromatogram (Fig.1.) including 3 spots to 8 spots, and comparing with the reports of OSHIMA, NAKABAYSHI and NISHIDA, it was identified these substances as shown in Fig.1 at the area of spots and Rf values (Fig. 1 and Table 3). By this method it is summarized as follow: a. As shown in Fig. 1, both the pyrogallol type and the catechol type tannin were contained in plants. b. Sample No. VIII(Quercus aliena Blume var. pellucida Blume) contained the most tannic acid, as total % is 14.3%, and sample No. VII, IV, contained comparatively much tannic acid. c. The plants shown in sample No. V, VI, VII, VIII are abundant in Korea because of its latitude and climate condition.

      • Ferric Ammonium Sulfate에 依한 Tannic Acid의 定量에 關한 硏究

        The study on tannic acid colirimetric determination was attempted with ferric ammonium sulfate. Concentration of tannic acid, then used, was 3.1×10-4M.∼1.2×10-3M., and that of ferric ammonium sulfate 2.0×10-4%. The two 325㎛ and580㎛ peaks apperaed on absorption curve, and the former was used, in this determination. The caribration curve was drawn at about pH value 3.7, and 325㎛. The analytical method mentioned above was applied to a number of cases, and was found comparatively good result.

      • 鹽酸과 鹽化암몬이 黃化砒素 沈澱에 미치는 影響

        Ⅰ. According to Noyes-Swift method, As? is qualitatively analyzed from cation groupⅡ, and arsenic trisulfide is precipitated by hydrogen sulfide gas at 1% hydrochloric acid acidity. The arsenic trisulfide precipitation easily peptizes through filtration; to prevent this peptization, 5% ammonium chloride usually applied. Ⅱ. The author has experimented with 8 differential hydrochloric acid concentrations and 6 differential ammonium chloride concentrations, and obtained the following results. a. By use of 5%(7.17) hydrochloric acid acidity obtained the favorable result in the reaction solution. b, 3% ammonium chloride of washing solution brought better result than 5% ammonium chloride. c. In ordinary analysis 1%~5% hydrochloric acid acidity and 3%~5% ammonium chloride washing solution can be applied.

        석유정제산업 공정과 공정장비에 기인한 휘발성 유해 대기오염물질(HAPs)의 배출량 산정기법

        Petroleum refineries have been considered as an important emission source for atmospheric volatile hazardous air pollutants(HAPs). The emission source includes petroleum refinery processes and process equipment. The control strategy for volatile HAPs requires emission estimations of these pollutants. However, systematic methods of volatile HAPs emission from petroleum refineries have not yet been established. Accordingly, present study surveyed the estimation method of volatile HAPs emitted from the petroleum refinery processes and process equipment. The emission estimation methods for the petroleum refinery processes are applied for 11 petroleum refining facilities: fluidized catalytic cracking, thermal cracking, moving bed catalytic cracking, compressed engine, blowdown system, vacuum distilled column condensator, natural gas or distilled boiler, natural gas or distilled heater, oil boiler, oil heater and flare. Four emission estimation methods applied for the petroleum refinery process equipment are as follows: average emission factor approach, screening ranges approach, EPA correlation approach and unit-specific correlation approach. The process equipment for which emission factors are available are valves, pump seals, connectors, flanges and open-ended lines.

        백제 사택지적비에 나타난 불교신앙

        Sataekjijeokbi(砂宅智積碑) is one of the representative materials for the inscriptions on stone monuments in the Baekjae Kingdom, The research of Sataekjijeokbi partely mentioned Taoistic elements and Buddistic elements, Especially Jijeok who owned the monoument turned out to be Daejwapyeong (大佐平) Jijeok that appeared in Japanese History, "Nihonshok(日本書紀)". So it started to take a step forward to political historic analysis at the beginning of King Uija(義慈王) that was correlated with Jijeok, but has not brought advance in their studies any more, This thesis was reconsidered Buddistic belief of Sataekjijeok in the aspects of Jijeok Bodhisattva(智積菩薩), the principal person of the Monoument, Accoding to the Bubhwa Sutra(法華經), Jijeok Bodhisattva is DaboBuddha(多寶佛)'s Hyeopsi Bodhisattva(挾侍菩薩). Dabotap(多寶塔) sprang out to prove out Buddha's sermon to be true, DaboBuddha is a buddha staying in Dabotap, The term of 'Botap(寶塔)' written in the monoument is regarded as Ddbotap. If Dabotap is on the basis of the truth of Buddha's sermon, Buddhist monk is the one who preaches Buddhism to all living beings to prove the discipline of Buddhist. According to Ddegyeong(大哀經), Among Bodhisattvas, Gakeu Boclhisattva(覺意菩薩) is the one who delivered a sermon to sixty thousand people and made them enlightened. Buddha named 'Gakeu Bodhisattva' as Jijeok Bodhisattva. Jijeok was also the son of DaetongBuddha(大通佛), In the Bubhwa Sutra, the son of Joenryunsungwang(轉輪聖王) is DaetongBuddha whose the oldest son is Jijeok and whose the youngest son is Sakyamuni(釋迦牟尼)' King Seong(聖王) in Baekjae set himself up for Joenryunsungwang and built Daetong-sa(大通寺) for his son, King Wideok(威德王). I considered that he wished his grandson to be Sakyamuni. It was the reign of King Wideok calling himself as DaetongBuddha when Sataekjijeok gained the name 'Jijeok', He was in great activity in the reigns of King Mu(武王) and King Uija. King Wideok was criticized by aged subjects with the reason of the lost battle due to the death of King Seong(성왕) and was attacked ideologically. The arguments were especially owing to conflicts between Confucianism and Buddhism by Gyeomik(謙益) and Yukhu(陸珝) as the central figures in the late of King Seong. On such situations, through Sataekjijeok we can see that Jijeok, who had kept closely relating with the regal power since the reign of King Seong, put emohasis on the divinity of the royal authority and the privilege of the Sataek family through the plan that as they are the sons of DaetongBuddha King Wideok, they would create genealogy of Joenryunsungwang, DaetongBuddha, Jijeok(or Sakyamuni) appeared in the Bubhwa Sutra and tried to get over the political crisis in the reign of King Wideok.

      • CIRCULAR THIN LAYER CHROMATOGRAPHY에 依한 無機 ION의 分離

        The conclusion of this experiment was carried out apply to circular thin layer chromatography method. 1. Chrular thin layer chromatography can analysis ions more easily than paper chromatography in a short space of time. 2. When the Rf value is needed to calculate, thin layer chromatography can be seperated easily without piling up each other, result from the solvent developped in fan form and make a narrow, long zone. Therefore, circular developping is very convenient to certify the unknown samples. 3. Cirular thin layer chromatography is more convenient for applying the most part of drug analysis than the other method. 4. Comparing cirular thin layer chromatography with previous analysis, that method has a merit to be done with extreme minimum sample amount. 5. As I explained above, this circular thin layer chromatography equipment can apply any kind of samples within the constant developping speed, and the constant developping time.
