Given the characteristics of construction work, which is highly dependent on labor compared to other industries, management of labor productivity is closely related with the construction industry. Therefore, it has become more important than ever to boost productivity in construction projects. The present study used a survey of form workers to conduct correlation analysis between factors of working tools, musculoskeletal disorders, and labor productivity. In addition, using structural equation modeling and the Sobel model, the study verified the mediating effects of musculoskeletal disorders. The findings of the analysis showed that friction sawing cutters are related with waist/back musculoskeletal disorders. In the relation between working tools and labor productivity, the hammer showed a strong positive relationship with Productivity1 , standing out as the tool with the highest correlation. In the relation between musculoskeletal disorders and labor, hands/wrists showed a significant correlation with Productivity 1. The test result on the mediating effects of musculoskeletal disorders derived a statistically significant value, at Z=1.215 (p<0.05), suggesting that musculoskeletal disorders have mediating effects in the relation between working tools and labor productivity. Through this study, we identified relationships among factors related to labor productivity in construction sites; the findings of this study could be used as basic data regarding factors adversely affecting labor productivity, as well as to determine how to improve labor productivity strategically.

지구온난화로 재난 재해가 날로 증가 되고 있으며, 그 규모도 대형화 되고 있는 추세이다. 재난 재해의 원인으로서는 자연적인 것도 있지만 인위적인 것이 큰 부분을 차지하고 있다. 이러한 재난 재해를 사전에 예방 및 통제를 목적으로 환경정보를 수집하여 위험상태를 판단하기위해 다양한 환경정보수집 무선통신기술에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 다양한 환경정보수집 및 시간 장소 설치 등에 많은 편리성 및 효율성을 갖으며, Ubiquitous Sensor Network(USN)기반요소가 되는 Sensor Network Node를 연구 개발하였고, 이를 이용하여 USN 환경감시 및 통제 네트워크를 구축하여 실험을 통하여 타당성을 입증하였다.
Stearic acid로 표면 코팅된 탄산칼슘의 폴리프로필렌에서의 분산

Calcium carbonate ($CaCO_3$) with 15~40 nm average diameter was compounded with polypropylene (PP) in a melted state to form composite materials. To enhance the dispersibility in PP, the surface of the $CaCO_3$ was coated with hydrophobic stearic acid (SA). The SA-coated $CaCO_3$ (SA-$CaCO_3$) showed hydrophobic nature, which resulted in rapid precipitation in water. When melt-compounded with PP, SA-$CaCO_3$ was uniformly distributed throughout the PP matrix, while the uncoated $CaCO_3$ formed aggregated structures in the PP. At up to 5 wt% of SA-$CaCO_3$ content, the composites showed well-dispersed structure, although some level of aggregation was observed in the composites with 10 wt% of SA-$CaCO_3$. The dispersibility improved with a repeated process of compounding. The melting and crystallization temperatures of PP increased with incorporation of $CaCO_3$. The enthalpy of the transitions also increased and the full-width of half maximum of the crystallization peak decreased. However, SA-coating did not produce additional effects on the crystallization behavior of PP. These results showed that the $CaCO_3$ acted as crystal nuclei.
하지 정맥류 환자에서 정맥류 혈관벽의 구조와 조성의 변화에 대한 분석

Purpose: Valvular incompetence and venous wall abnormalities have been suggested as primary etiologic factors responible for the development of varicose veins. The valvular theory is known that the continuous gravitational pressure result in varicose vein. There are controversy about this theory. The collagen and elastic fiber have important role of maintaining structure and differentiation of vein. The authors reported on the factor affecting change of venous wall structure in varicose vein. Method: The present study describes the histopathologic aspects of varicose (n=10; mean age, 41.2 years) and normal saphenous veins (n=6 mean age, 55.3 years) of patients using H-E stain, Van-Gieson, Verhoeff stain, and thpe Ⅳ collagen immunohistochemical stain, and examined by light microcopy. Result: In H-E stain, venous wall distension, large amount smooth muscle cell, expansion of extracellular matrix, and a number of endothelial cells were seen. In Van-Gieson stain, the volume of smooth muscle cell increased especially in subendothelial layer and medial layer. The collagen increased in subendothelial and medial layer. The arrangement of smooth muscle cells was broken down due to infiltrations of collagen fiber between the smooth muscle cells. In Verhoeff stain, the elastic fiber was scatterd irregularly in the wall of varicose vein. The elastic fiber increased in small amount within intimal layer, but there was no significant change comparison to control group. In type Ⅳ collagen immunohistochemical stain, there was intense expression of type Ⅳ collagen gradually disappeared from medial layer close to adventitia. Conclusion: The compositions of collagen, elastic fiber, and smooth muscle cell in varicose vein may be different from that of vessel wall in normal vein in same level in the effect of same pressure. The results suggest that the etiology of varicose vein may depend on abnormal response of vessel wall from injury rather than valvular incompetence.
만성신부전으로 의심되는 환자에서 주증에 따른 한의학적 변증치료의 예(例)

Renal Failure is called a disorder of kidney excretion induced by glomerulus filtration rate(GFR) decrease. GFR is measured by Blood Urea Nitrogen(BUN) and Cretinine in blood. This study is about Oriental diagnosis and treatment of Chronic renal failure(CRF) patients. We treated five cases which were diagnosed as CRF by using methods used in oriental medicine, the application of Youkmijihwang-tang(六味地黃湯加減). In most such cases, we concluded that the results turns better as the symptoms like fatigue and digestive disorder decreases and the decrease of BUN and Creatinine in blood as well.
