        한국(韓國)GSK 상임고문최현식(常任顧問崔賢植)의 기업활동(企業活動)과 경영이념(經營理念)

        The aims of this paper are to review Mr. Choi Hyun Sik``s business activities and analysis of his management thoughts. Mr. Choi Hyun Sik is now a general advisor of Galxo Smith Cline(GSK) Korea, one of the biggest pharmatical company in the world. And he is one of the toppest chief executive officer in Korea. He was passed as a semi-salesman, one of 3D jobs at that time, by the Choong Wae Pharamatical Corporation in 1966 and he met Mr. Lee Chong Ho who was a section chief of planning and management section anf he is now chairman of the corporation. He worked hard with chairman Lee. At last he promoted as a CEO of Choong Wae Pharmatical Corporation in 1998 and Vice Chairman of the Company in 2004. After 38 years services, he resigned from CW in 2004. At the same time, He was selected as a general advisor of GSK Korea(President Mr. Kim Jin Ho) on April 2004. As a GA of GSK Korea, As a matter of fact, Mr. Choi concertrate into his best efforts as the fellowing points; ● Focus an execution of plan. ● Develop new strategic business opportunities ● Strengthen partnership with external stakeholders. ● Optimize commercial structure and capability ● Improve working capital management & operational excellence ● Build organizational capabilities to support growth. ● Develop people pipeline, and etc. And last, his management thoughts and stratagies are 5S and 5C. That is, 5S means Speed, System, Simplicity, Strategy and Spurt. On the other hand, 5C are Creation, Credit, Competition, Customer and Communication.

        Effect of Graphene on Growth of Neuroblastoma Cells

        The unique properties of graphene have earned much interest in the fields of materials science and condensedmatter physics in recent years. However, the biological applications of graphene remain largely unexplored. In this study, we investigated the conditions and viability of a cell culture exposed to graphene onto glass and SiO2/Si, using a human nerve cell line, SH-SY5Y. Cell viability was 84% when cultured on glass and SiO2/Si coated with graphene as compared with culturing on polystyrene surface. Fluorescence data showed that the presence of graphene did not influence cell morphology. These findings suggest that graphene may be used for biological applications.

        國內産 茶葉의 脂肪酸 組成에 관한 硏究

        Fatty acid composition was analyzed and compared in tea shoot of korean native tea plant (Camellia sinensis Var. Sinensis) picking from thirteen places and Yabukita(Camellia sinensis Var. Yabukita), an excellent Japanese variety. Results of this investigation are summarized as follow. Palmitic acid, Stearic acid, Oleic acid, Linoleic acid, Linolenic acid were confirmed thirteen places of korean native tea plant. The content of total fatty acid at Shunchang-gun tea leaves usually was the highest as 3555.3mg/100g, and that of Yong Kwang-gun tea leaves was the lowest as 2089.1mg/100g. The content of total fatty acid of Yabukita tea leaves usually was 3084.9mg/100g. The composition of fatty acid had order of C18 : 3 > C18 : 2 > C16 : 0 > C18 : 1 > C18 : 0.

      • 전력선 통신 채녈의 단 구간 변화에 대한 분석

        The power line channel has time-variant characteristics caused by various kind of electrical devices. This characteristics are synchronized with the main voltage by their own characteristics. The main factors of disturbance are the variation of the channel impedance and noises, In other papers [2] [3], the synchronous noise modeling has been achieved. But the modeling is not satisfied simultaneously with the time domain and the frequency domain and there are not any discussion about short-term variations of the channel impedance which cause to the signal fading. Therefore, this paper researched to solve problems about the signal fading by analyzing the short-term variation of the channel impedance, and proposed the synchronous noise modeling which is satisfied simultaneously in the time domain and the frequency domain.

        급성 파라쿼트 중독에서 혈중 파라쿼트 농도

        Background: Paraquat is a bipyridyl compound, and when ingested, concentrated paraquat can cause either rapid death from multisystem failure and cardiovascular shock or delayed death from progressive pulmonary fibrosis. Paraquat is poorly absorbed by inhalation, but when ingested orally, severe illness can occur. Death usually occurs within 2 days if more than 50 ㎎/㎏ of paraquat is ingested . The most important prognostic indicator is the quantity of paraquat absorbed, as shown by the plasma paraquat concentration, and the prognostic indication depends mostly on the description given by the patients and their families about the amount of paraquat ingested, which is often underestimated or overestimagted. For these reasons, we tried to compare the plasma paraquat concentrations with amount of paraquat described by patients or their families. Methods: We reviewed the medical records of 59 patients with acute paraquat poisoning from February 1998 through February 1999, the paraquat concentrations in plasma were measured at Presbyterian Medical Center by using high performance liquid chromatography. Results: There was a striking discrepancy between the plasma paraquat concentration and the ingested amount described by the patients or their families. Conclusion: We recommend that the plasma paraquat concentration be measured in patients being treated for acute paraquat poisoning.

      • 지능적인 퍼지 학습 알고리즘에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 인공지능분야에서 지능을 구현하는데 중요한 개념인 Minsky의 "Mind of Society"를 인간의 뇌를 모방하여 생리학적 뉴런구조를 바탕으로 하여 지능을 구현하려는 인공 신경망과 결합하여 지능적인 퍼지 학습 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 지능 퍼지 학습 알고리즘의 학습구조는 생리학적 뉴런 구조에서 흥분책을 분석하여 퍼지 논리학습 구조로 구성하였다. 즉, 본 논문에서 제안한 학습 알고리즘은 억제 뉴런구조를 전방향 억제 뉴런과 역방향 억제 뉴런으로 구분하여 전방향 억제 뉴런을 퍼지 논리곱 구조로 역방향 억제 뉴런구조를 퍼지 논리 부정 구조로 구성하였다.

      • 여름철에 스타킹과 양말 착용시의 생리적 반응 및 착용감

        The purpose of this study was to obtain the basic data for designing the physiologically comfortable stocking. The study investigated physiological responses and wearing sensation of healty female adults in twenties in wearing support type stocking and socks according to ambient temperature and humidity in summer. The various factors, such as rectal temperature, skin temperature, body weight loss, blood pressure pulse rate, wearing sensation were statistically analyzed according to the warm temperature ambient condition and ensemble of clothes. The results were as follows : 1. Mean skin temperature showed significant differences with ambient temperature and clothes. In the low humidity and temperature, mean skin temperature was highest in support stocking in order high supporting stocking 〉socks. In the high humidity and temperature, no significant difference on ensemble of clothes was indicated at the end of exercise. 2. Under the certain ambient humidity, mean skin temperature increased in proportion to the increasa of ambient temperature in all ensemble of clothes under the certain ambient temperature, 70% RH higher mean skin temperature was indicated without relation to ensemble of clothes in high temperature. 3. Maximum blood pressure showed significant differences with the increase or decrease of ambient temperature. But, minimum blood pressure increased according to the decreased of ambient temperature. Pluse rate increased in proportion to the increase of ambient temperature during exercise. 4. Comfort showed 0.1% of significant differences with ambient temperature, clothes and time. Phychological responces showed 'very hot' 'very uncomfortable' as exercise and ambient temperature op up. Under the high humidity and temperature, high humudaty and temperature, high support stocking was most comfortable.

      • 웨이브렛 신경망을 사용한 I-PD 제어계의 위치 제어

        많은 제어기법들이 이산시간영역 제어계에서 제어성능을 개선하기 위해서 제안되고 있다. 이 제어기법들을 이용한 제어계에서 계의 응답특성은 제어기의 이득에 관계한다. 특히 외란이나 부하변동에 의해서 계의 응답이 변할 때 제어기의 이득을 재조정할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 I-PD 제어기를 웨이브렛과 신경망으로 설계하여 웨이브렛 신경망의 신축과 이동의 변수값을 선택하여 I-PD제어기의 이득이 자동적으로 역전파 알고리즘에 의해서 조정되도록 하였다. 이 제어기를 직류 서보 전동기를 구동원으로 하는 위치제어계에 적용하여 제어기의 제어성능을 실험을 통해 그 유효성을 검증하였다.

        Escherichia coli에서 발현된 재조합 인간 상피세포 증식인자의 정제 및 특성

        E. coli BL21(DE3, pYHB101)을 이용한 rhEGF의 최적 생산조건은 25℃, 48시간 배양에서 변형된 MBL 배지에 glucose를 10g /l 첨가한 배지로 배양한 경우이었고 유도물질로 1mM IPTG를 사용하여 2시간 배양 후에 유도 배양하였을 때 최대 rhEGF가 68.7 mg/l가 발현되었다. 배양액으로부터 Amberlite XAD-7, ultrafiltration, DEAE Sepharose column chromatography 정제 과정을 거쳐 rhEGF가 정제되었으며 이때 정제도는 267배이었으며 66.6%의 회수율을 보였다. 정제된 rhEGF는 HPLC 분석 결과 2개의 분획으로 나누어졌으며 N말단 아미노산 서열 분석결과 Asn-Ser-Asp-Ser-Glu-Cys-Pro-Leu-Ser-His로 나타났다. 또한 5'-bromo-2'-deoxy-uridine (BrdU)의 삽입에 의한 DNA 생성능을 조사하였다. 상기의 결과로 E. coli BL21(DE3, pYHB101)에 의하여 생산된 rhEGF는 nhEGF와 동일한 것으로 추정되었다. Recombinant human epidermal growth factor (rhEGF) was produced strain was cultured at 25℃ for 48 hours in the modified MBS medium containing 10 g/l glucose with 1 mM IPTG induction at 2 hours after inoculation. The rhEGF was purified upto 267 folds by Amberlite XAD-7 chromatography, ultrafiltration, and DEAE Sepharose fast fow ion exchange chromatography with an overall yield of 66.6%. The purfied rhEGF was further separated into two fractions by HPLC. The N-terminal amino acid sequence of the second fraction was Asn-Ser-Asp-Ser-Glu-Cys-Pro-Leu-Ser-His. The effect of rhEGF on the DNA synthesis was examined using in vitro biological assay based on the incorporation of 5'-bromo-2'-deoxy-uridine (BrdU). The purified rhEGF shows no difference with natural human epidermal growth factor (nhEGF) in N-terminal amino acids residues and biological activity. From the results, we concluded that rhEGF produced from E. coli harboring the plasmid pYHB101 was apparently the same as nhEGF.
