        인산 및 수증기 활성화에 의한 대나무 활성탄 제조 및 특성 연구

        Bamboo is an evergreen perennial plant, and it is known as one of the most productive and fastest-growing plants in the world. It grows quickly in moderate climates with only moderate water and fertilizer. Traditionally in Asia, bamboo is used for building materials, as a food source, and as versatile raw materials. Bamboo as a biomass feedstock can be transformed to prepare activated carbon using the thermal treatment of pyrolysis. The effect of process variables such as carbonization temperature, activation temperature, activation time, the amount of steam, and the mixing ratio of phosphoric acid and bamboo were systematically investigated to optimize the preparation conditions. Steam activation was proceeded after carbonization with a vapor flow rate of $0.8{\sim}1.8mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ and activation time of 1 ~ 3 h at $700{\sim}900^{\circ}C$. Carbon yield and surface area reached 2.04 ~ 20.59 wt% and $499.17{\sim}1074.04m^2\;g^{-1}$, respectively, with a steam flow rate of $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ for 2 h. Also, the carbon yield and surface area were 24.67 wt% and $1389.59m^2\;g^{-1}$, respectively, when the bamboo and phosphoric acid were mixed in a 1:1 weight ratio ($700^{\circ}C$, 2 h, $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$). The adsorption of methylene blue into the bamboo activated carbon was studied based on pseudo first order and second order kinetics models. The adsorption kinetics were found to follow the pseudo second order model, which is governed by chemisorption. 대나무는 지구상에 존재하는 식물 중 적절한 기후와 토양조건에서 생산성이 가장 높고, 성장속도가 가장 빠른 다년생 식물로 알려져 있다. 전통적으로 아시아에서 대나무는 음식, 건축 및 다양한 재료로 활용되고 있다. 바이오매스 자원으로 대나무는 열분해과정을 거쳐 활성탄으로 제조될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 탄화온도, 활성화 온도, 시간, 수증기의 양, 그리고 인산의 양 등을 변화에 따른 최적의 대나무 활성탄 제조 연구를 수행하였다. 대나무 탄화 후 수증기 활성화를 위해 $700{\sim}900^{\circ}C$의 온도, $0.8{\sim}1.8mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ 수증기 유량 범위에서 1 ~ 3 h 동안 활성화를 진행하였다. 수증기 유량을 $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$으로 2 h 동안 실험한 결과 활성탄 수율과 비표면적은 각각 2.04 ~ 20.59 wt%, $499.17{\sim}1074.04m^2\;g^{-1}$의 값이 나왔다. 대나무와 인산의 질량비를 1:1로 혼합한 후 $700^{\circ}C$에서 유량 $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ 속도로 2 h 동안 활성화를 진행한 결과 활성탄 수율과 비표면적은 각각 24.67 wt%, $1389.59m^2\;g^{-1}$의 값이 나타냈다. 제조된 대나무 활성탄을 대상으로 메틸렌블루 흡착 실험을 통해 유사 1차, 2차 속도식 모델을 적용하였으며, 화학적 흡착을 의미하는 유사 2차 속도식에 따랐다.

        국내분리 Aujeszky's disease virus의 실험적 감염 자돈에 대한 바이러스학적 연구

        To investigate the etiology, pathogenicity and virological properties of NYJ-1-87 strain of Aujeszky's disease virus (ADV) that was isolated from the diseased piglet in Korea, the virus at $10^{6.0}TCID_{50}/0.1ml$ was inoculated intranasally and subcutaneously into 30 to 35 days-old piglets. Results obtained through the experiments were summarized as follows. 1. Ten of the infected piglets were clinically observed for 15 days. On the 2nd day post-inoculation(pi), the signs of pyrexia, anorexia and convulsion were noted. On the 4th to 7th days pi, nervous signs of incoordination and intermittent spasm were shown in the most of piglets, and one out of 5 piglets infected intranasally was died with severe nervous signs at the 7th day pi. The signs became relieved on the 8th day pi and all of remainder were completely recovered on the 13th to 14th days pi. 2. In hematological study, prominent decrease in the number of total leukocyte and lymphocyte was shown in the ADV-infected piglets on the 6th day pi. On the 8th day pi, the cell numbers were slightly increased and returned to normal level on the 10th day pi. 3. Viral excretion of the ADV-inoculated piglets was examined by swabbing of nasal and oral cavities, and rectal feces. During the periods of the 3rd to 11th days pi, the virus was excreted intermittently from nasal and oral cavities, and rectal feces. The nasal excretions were shown the highest virus concentration of $10^{5.2}TCID_{50}/0.1ml$ at the 5th day pi. 4. Recovery of the inoculated virus from various organs of the piglets that were died or experimentally slaughtered was attempted, and the virus was isolated from the tissues of brain and tonsil by the cultured cell-inoculation method. The highest recovery rate was noted in the tonsil. By indirect immunofluorescence antibody assay using ADV-monoclonal antibody, the viral antigens were detected in tissues of spleen and liver as well as brain and tonsil on the 7th to 9th days pi. The virus was not isolated from blood and the tissues of lung and kidney throughout the experiments. 5. Titers of virus neutralizing antibody in the piglets experimentally infected with ADV became increased after the 6th to 9th days pi in both of intranasal and subcutaneous inoculation showing the highest titers of 64 to 128 on the 29th day pi. When the antibody levels were measured by radial immunodiffusion enzyme assay, the reactive diameter was enlarged to be positive after the 4th to 6th days pi in both of intranasal and subcutaneous inoculation showing the largest diameter of 13 to 14mm on the 29th day pi.

        바위 자고새의 흑두병 발생예

        The diseased Chuckar partridges that were raised at the wild bird-raising farms located in Ockchun, Chungbuk province, were submitted for diagnosis in the laboratory in July. 1990. The diseased partridges aged 3~4 weeks old were shown clinical signs such as anorexia, depression, white-colored or transparent-watery diarrhea and dropping of the head and wings. At necropsy, major gross lesions were found in the livers, ceca and lungs. Histopathologically, numerous histomonads were observed in the necrotic tissues of the livers and ceca. In the cecal specimens, it was found that the ameboid histomonads have flagellum and the size of 10~20 micrometer. The case was confirmed as histomoniasis due to the infection of Histomonas meleagridis.

        한방 치료와 코어 운동을 병행한 퇴행성 슬관절염 환자 1례에 대한 증례보고

        Objectives : The objective of this study is to report the effect of Traditional Korean medical therapy and core exercise on osteoarthritis of knee joint by observing a clinical case study. Methods : Patient with a diagnosis of osteoarthritis of knee joint, was treated by acupuncture, herb medicine, physical theraphy and core exercise. Results : After treatment, Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), Korean version of the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities(KWOMAC), Pain Rating Score(PRS) were reduced from 5 to 2, from 25 to 16, from 55 to 27, and CENTAUR test results were improved. Conclusions : This study showed that Traditional Korean medical therapy and core exercise has meaningful effect on osteoarthritis of knee joint, and more researches should be followed.

        전염성 췌장 괴저 바이러스의 어류세포에의 감염에 미치는 리소솜 친화성 약염기의 영향

        We investigated the effect of ammonium chloride, which is known to affect lysosome-mediated viral internalization, on the infectious of fish cells, CHSE-214, with Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis Virus (IPNV). Progeny production of IPNV was delayed 6 to 8 hours in IPNV infected CHSE-214 cells by the addition of NH₄C1 at the final concentration of 20 mM. The multiplication of IPNV, however, was no longer inhibited when NH₄C1 was present only for the first 4 hours after viral infection. Thus the inhibitory effect of NH₄C1 seems to be on some other steps but internalization. For the inhibitory effect of NH₄C1, time of addition is not very important, but the length of treatment is rather critical. Ammonium chloride attenuated the synthesis of almost all the proteins in IPNV-infected CHSE-214 cells. Thus the primary effect of NH₄C1 on virus-infected host cells is to inhibit the synthesis of proteins resulting in the delay of IPNV growth. Therefore, we conclude that IPNV penetration into CHSE-214 cells does not require the low-pH dependent activity of lysosome.

        망막병증을 동반하지 않은 초기 제2형 당뇨병 환자에서 망막혈관 직경의 변화

        목적: 망막병증이 동반되지 않은 초기 제2형 당뇨병 환자에서 망막혈관의 직경을 측정하고, 정상안과 비교하여 그 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 제2형 당뇨병으로 진단받은 지 10년 이내의 환자 85명과 나이와 성별이 유사한 건강한 대조군 48명의 의무기록을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 모든 환자들은 산동 후 안저검사를 통해 당뇨망막병증이 동반되지 않음을 확인하였고, 안저카메라를 이용하여 안저촬영을 시행하였다. 망막혈관의 직경을 반자동으로 측정해주는 프로그램을 이용하여 중심망막동맥대응치, 중심망막정맥대응치, 동정맥비 값을 구하였다. 대조군도 환자군과 같은 방법으로 검사를 시행하고, 두 군을 비교 분석하였다. 결과: 환자군과 대조군의 중심망막동맥대응치는 각각 149.92 ± 21.29 μm, 144.85 ± 17.14 μm로 두 군 간에 유의한 차이가 없었고(p=0.137), 중심망막정맥대응치도 환자군과 대조군에서 각각 195.85 ± 22.94 μm, 196.69 ± 18.43 μm로 차이가 없었다(p=0.829). 그러나, 동정맥비는 환자군에서 0.768 ± 0.088이었고, 대조군은 0.737 ± 0.061로 두 군 사이에 유의한 차이가 있었다(p=0.031). 환자군에서 동정맥비는 당화혈색소와 유의한 상관관계가 있었으나(r=0.325, p=0.006), 체질량지수와는 관련이 없었다(p=0.478). 결론: 시신경유두 주위 동정맥비의 상승은 제2형 당뇨병 환자에서 관찰되는 망막혈관의 초기 변화로 생각되며, 이는 혈당의 증가와 밀접한 관련이 있다. Purpose: To evaluate the retinal vascular caliber in early type 2 diabetic patients without retinopathy. Methods: This retrospective study reviewed the medical records of 85 patients who were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (age, 10-48 years) and sex-matched healthy controls. Dilated fundus examinations were performed to confirm the absence of diabetic retinopathy. Fundus photographs were acquired and analyzed using software that semi-automatically measured retinal vascular caliber. Central retinal arteriolar equivalent (CRAE), central retinal venular equivalent (CRVE), and arteriovenous ratio (AVR) were determined using the revised Parr-Hubbard formula. Healthy controls were examined using the same approach. Results: There were no significant differences between patients and controls in terms of CRAE (149.92 ± 21.29 μm and 144.85 ± 17.14 μm, respectively; p = 0.137) or CRVE (195.85 ± 22.94 μm and 196.69 ± 18.43 μm, respectively; p = 0.829). However, AVR was significantly higher in the patient group (0.768 ± 0.088 vs. 0.737 ± 0.061; p = 0.031). In the patient group, AVR was significantly correlated with hemoglobin A1c (r = 0.325, p = 0.006), but not with body mass index (p = 0.478). Conclusions: An increase in peripapillary AVR may be an early feature of retinal vessels observed in patients with type 2 diabetes, which is closely related to elevated blood sugar.

        체질량지수에 따른 복강경하 전자궁적출술을 시행받은 환자들의 치료결과 분석

        목적: 체질량지수 (BMI)가 복강경하 전자궁적출술 (TLH) 후의 임상결과에 영향을 끼치는지 알고자 하였다. 방법: 2003년 3월부터 2007년 2월까지 본원에서 자궁근종으로 TLH를 받은 환자를 대상으로 후향적으로 연구하였다. BMI가 23 미만이면 1군, 23 이상이고 28 미만이면 2군, 28 이상이면 3군으로 정의하여, 나이와 분만력, 체중과 신장, 수술시간, 출혈량, 혈색소의 변화, 재원일수 등을 조사하여 분석하다. 결과: 총 대상은 83명으로, 1군이 30명, 2군이 40명, 3군이 13명이었다. 체중은 1군이 52.2, 2군이 60.9, 3군이 72.0 kg로 차이가 있었으며, 신장은 1군이 156.0, 2군이 156.1, 3군이 156.3 cm으로 차이가 없었다. 연령은 1군은 44.3, 2군은 47.0, 3군은 43.8세로 2군에서 유의하게 높았다. 분만력은 1군은 2.0, 2군은 2.3, 3군은 1.8회로 유의성은 없었다. 적출된 자궁의 무게는 1군이 250.5, 2군이 257.4, 3군이 242.7 gm으로 유의성은 없었다. 수술시간은 1군이 155.0, 2군이 168.2, 3군이 160.8 분으로 차이가 없었다. 수술과 수술 직후의 출혈량은 1군이 342.7, 2군이 356.5, 3군이 396.2 mL로 차이가 없었다. 혈색소의 변화도 1군이 2.1, 2군이 1.8, 3군이 2.2 g/dL로 차이가 없었다. 수술 후 재원일수는 1군이 5.2, 2군이 5.5, 3군이 4.8일로 차이가 없었다. 결론: 본 기관에서 자궁근종으로 TLH를 받은 83명을 대상으로 BMI에 따른 수술경과시간, 수술 및 수술후의 출혈량, 수술 전후의 혈색소의 변화, 수술 후 재원기간 등을 분석하였으나 연관성을 발견할 수 없었다. 그러나 일반화를 도출하기 위해서는 더 많은 환자를 통한 연구가 필요하리라 사료된다. Objective: To know impacts of BMI on clinical results of total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH). Methods: We reviewed medical records of patients with myoma uteri who undergone TLH between March 2003 and February 2007, retrospectively. We classified group 1 when BMI was <23 kg/m2, group 2 when BMI was between 23 and 28, and group 3 when BMI was ≥28. We reviewed age, parity, body weight and height, operation time, amount of blood loss, change of hemoglobin change and days of hospital stay, and analyze these. Results: There were 83 patients (Group 1; 30, Group 2; 40, Group 3; 13). The body weight distributions of Group 1, 2, and 3 were 52.2, 60.9, and 72.0 kg and there were significant differences. But there was no difference of height distributions. The age distributions were 44.3, 47.0, 43.8 year old, and there were differences. But there was no difference of parity distribution. The weight distribution of removed uterus were 250.5, 257.4, 242.7 gm and there was no difference. The operation time distributions were 155.0, 168.2, 160.8 minutes, and there was no difference. The amount distributions of bleeding were 342.7, 356.5, 396.2 ml, and there was no difference. The change distributions of hemoglobin were 2.1, 1.8, 2.2 g/dL, and there was no difference. The day distributions of hospital stay were 5.2, 5.5, 4.8, and there was no difference. Conclusion: We could not find any trend between operation time, amount of bleeding, change of hemoglobin, and days of postoperative hospital stay after TLH with BMI.

        돼지 분변 유래 PORCINE ENTEROVIRUS의 물리학적 특성 및 병원성에 관한 연구

        28 porcine enteroviruses were isolated from 86 pig-feces of 9 swine farms located in souti region, Chung-buk, from March to September 1990. Physico-chemical properties and pathogenicity of isolates were investigated. Results obtained throughout experiments are summarized as follows. According to the age, weanlings(40-90 days), sucklings(10-30 days) and adult pigs(6 months over) showed the isolation rate of 67%, 8% and 4%, respectively. By physico-chemical tests, YD-90 /22, YD-90/43 and YD-90 /64 strains were found to be ether, chloroform and PH stable. Nucleic acid test suggests the virus to have a DNA genome. Most of the isolates were not evident of hemagglutinin using erythrocytes from various mammalian & avian. 22 strains among the isolates were shown CPE type I and the remainders were CPE type Ⅱ. 3 strains among isolates of CPE type 1 strains were neutralized with high titers to serotype 2 antiserum. Ir. the study on virus growth curve in PK 15 cells, YD-90 /22, YD-90/43 and YD-90 /64 strains showed the maximum infectivity titers(106.0-106.5 TCID50 /me) at 4 days post inoculation(PI). When 30 day-old commercial piglets were inoculated only intraoral route with the YD-90/22 strain at 106.0 TCID50/m, piglets not showed the symptoms. But piglets inoculated by intramuscie route, intraoral and intramuscie route after pretreat with dexamethasone(2.5mg /kg) for 5 days were shown the symptoms of anorexia, diarrhea, pyrexia and ataxia at 4th 6th days PT. The viral reisolation in the virus-inoculated piglets was examined from feces. The viruses were recovered intermittently from 2nd to 16th day P1 and at 4th-6th day P1, all piglets excreted viruses.

      • AFM 기반 액중 Tribo nanolithography 에서의 마스크 층 내식각성에 관한 연구

        Etch resistance of mask layer on silicon substrate modified by AFM-based Tribo-Nanolithography (TNL) in Aqueous Solution in an aqueous solution was demonstrated. TNL consists of sequential processes, nano-scratching and wet chemical etching. The simple scratching can form a mask layer on the silicon substrate, which acting as an etching mask. For TNL, a specially designed cantilever with diamond tip, allowing the formation of mask layer on silicon substrate easily by a simple scratching process, has been applied instead of conventional silicon cantilever for scanning. This study demonstrates how the TNL parameters can affect the etch resistance of mask layer, hence introducing a new process of AFM-based maskless nanolithography in aqueous solution.
